"You?" Roger asked Randy, incredulous that a cute, five foot tall ponyboi would be signing up for a program of intense muscle enhancement.

"Well, it's me or you," Randy replied, his hands now resting on his narrow hips. "And they know you, or even more important, they're looking for you. I don't see we have any choice. I can't call them until tomorrow, anyway."

"Let me think about it," Roger said, slumping back into the desk chair he had been occupying all morning.

"You think. I'll make lunch," Randy replied, clopping off to the kitchen.

Randy returned with two plates of food and set one in front of Roger, then sat down with his own food and started quietly munching.

"What all was in that diary?" Randy asked as he finished his lunch. "You said you would tell me about all that at some time. There may be some more clues in it."

"Actually, there may be more clues," Roger replied, brightening up a bit at the prospect.

"Great!" Randy sat up. "Where is it?"

"In my locker at the university," Roger answered, slumping back down into his chair. "No way I can go get it."

"What about me?" Randy asked.

"The lockers are in a room in the student center that requires a student ID to get in," Roger explained.

"Well, let me borrow your ID and I can slip in and get it."

"If it was still valid, you could."

"Oh, problems?"

"Couldn't pay my fees this month," Roger said. "It's suspended."

They both sat and thought for a bit before Roger's face brightened and he sat up.

"My friend, Stewart, could probably get it for me," Roger said. "He's the guy that Tom had come over to the apartment to look at Ken. He may also have some clues on the transformation process."

"You remember his number?" Randy asked.

"It's on my cell phone," sighed Roger. "We can't turn it on or they'll find us."

"Does the university have a directory?" Randy asked.

"Right!" Roger answered. "And it's online, too. Let me look him up. He's a graduate student in genetics, so I can at least find the department phone number."

Roger tapped on the keyboard for a bit, then exclaimed, "They list his cell number! I'll call him now."

Roger punched the number in his phone and waited several seconds until Stewart answered.

"Stewart, this is Roger.... Yeah, new phone.... Listen, I need you to do me a huge favor. Go to locker 213 at the student center, use combination 24-8-19 and get the.... What?... OK, got it written down?... Great. Look for a book that says diary on the front and bring it to 107 Elm St. My friend Randy will answer the door - he's a pony..... Thanks a ton... About 30 minutes? Great! I'll explain more when you get here. Later."

"Great," Randy said. "I'll watch for him and let him in. What's he look like?"

"Human, a little taller than me," Roger replied. "I'll watch through the blinds as he walks up and let you know if it's him."

After about thirty minutes, Roger stationed himself at the front window, carefully watching between the blinds. After a few minutes, he saw Stewart walking up the street, checking addresses. Seeing Randy's house number, Stewart started up the sidewalk towards the house. He had a book under his arm.

"Here he comes," Roger called out to Randy.

Randy walked up to the door and opened it, finding Stewart standing there getting ready to knock on it.

"Uhm, hi," said Stewart, looking at Randy standing there in a pink skirt and camisole, his mane pulled up into a ponytail. "I'm looking for Randy. Is he here?"

"I'm Randy," Randy replied, swinging the door open. "Come on in."

Stewart walked slowly through the door, staring at Randy.

"Stewart is here, Roger," Randy smiled, looking over towards Roger. Roger was making sure the blinds were closed and walked over towards Stewart.

"Hey, Stewart," he said. "Any problems?"

"No," Stewart said, still staring at Randy, but handing the book over to Roger. "I was expecting, well, a guy. Forgive me for staring, Randy."

"I am a guy," Randy replied. "Want to see?"

"No!" Roger shouted, then blushed at how loud his voice had been. "That is, I think Stewart will believe you are a guy without, uhm, seeing more evidence."

"Suit yourself," Randy smiled as he shut the door. "Come on into the computer room, Stewart. We'll explain what's going on."

"OK," Stewart replied. "So far, it appears it will be an interesting conversation."

Randy and Roger caught Stewart up to date with what they knew. Stewart stared incredulously at the entire story.

"So what did you need your diary for?" Stewart asked.

"Uhm, this isn't my diary," Roger replied. "It's Tank's."

"Why do you have it?" Stewart asked. Randy nodded, wondering the same thing.

"This particular diary is the one where Tank recorded his transformation process," Roger replied. "I..."

"Go on," Stewart encouraged. "I'm sure it was for a good reason."

"Well, sort of," Roger started. "Tank... uhm, that is, I was kind of upset with Tank. Tank left the apartment so I got nosy and was digging around his room. I found his diaries and read through some of them. I ran across this particular one and saw the whole story of his transformation. I had never heard of anyone ever transforming from a human to a fur. I knew Ken was transforming, because you were there checking him out, but I had no idea Tank had transformed."

"You're right," Stewart said. "Ken was transforming. Very curious, too. I had never heard of a human to fur transformation, either. My research has primarily been focused on actual furs and their curious mix of human and animal characteristics. Ever since I was a kid and Dad told me about when furs just came out of the woods, I've been fascinated with them and always wanted to research them. When Tom told me about Ken, my research took a whole new twist."

"Furs just came out of the woods?" Roger asked. "This fur came out of his mother's womb. What's this with the woods?"

"Somewhere along the line your Mom and Dad, or maybe their parents, were in the initial group that came out of the woods many years ago," Stewart continued. "That's what my Dad told me he remembered from the news reports of the day."

"None of this makes sense," Randy joined in. "I mean, if furs just walked out of the woods one day, how do you explain Ken and Tank?"

"That's what I was wondering," Roger replied. "That's why I took Tank's diary and showed it to some older friends. I thought maybe they could explain something about it. Apparently, they were so excited about the concept that they ended up running to the authorities or the news outlets. Next thing I knew, I came back to the apartment the same afternoon I ran off with the diary and there were news reporters all over the place. I got scared and hid out at a friend's house for a few days."

"Wait," Randy interjected. "If someone knew Tank had transformed and that Ken was transforming, maybe they were anxious to find out how and why so that maybe they could figure it out and profit from it. Sound logical?"

"It does!" Stewart exclaimed. "So someone has Tank and Ken captive so that they can be examined."

"Wait," Roger said. "They also have Julie. And we think they have Tom, as well. At least they were trying to capture Tom after they caught me. I managed to escape, but I didn't see if Tom got away or not. I haven't heard from him. Why would they want the three of us? I know that I was conceived by parents, not transformed. I'm not sure about Tom or Julie."

The three sat silent for a while. Randy and Roger were sitting in their respective desk chairs. Stewart was leaning against the computer desk, scratching his chin in deep thought.

"OK," Stewart started again. "Roger, you said that the vehicle that tried to capture you was last seen parked behind a church with a couple other vehicles of the same type, that the parking lot was full of vehicles, and the church building seemed to not be in use except for a couple of equine guards standing at the doors?"

"Right," Randy replied. "I went over on Sunday and was told the service was cancelled at the church. When I gave a code phrase that Roger remembered from the diary, the guard there gave me a pamphlet for a body-enhancement program that I could enroll in. I planned on calling them later this week and making an appointment to bring in the application. Roger can't risk it, since they're looking for him. Here's the pamphlet."

"I don't think Randy is the right one to go over and enroll," Roger added as Stewart looked over the pamphlet. "I mean, he's so small and feminine looking. I don't think they would believe he is actually there for a body-building course."

"I agree," Stewart replied after reading through the pamphlet. "Hand me a pen. I'll fill this out for myself and set up an appointment."

"Are you sure?" Roger asked. "So far, whoever this is seems somewhat shady. I'm not sure I want you to get involved in this, you have a wife and baby at home."

"I'm not using my real name or address," said Stewart as he filled out the application. "I just want to get a look around - see if they'll give me a tour first. I hope they don't try to verify any of this while I'm there."

"If you are sure you want to try," Roger said. "Be really careful."

"I will," he replied. "Listen. I have to get back home. I'll call you when I find out when the appointment is."

"Thanks," Roger replied, following Stewart to the door. "Use the new number I called you from earlier. My old cell phone is not working."

"Sure," Stewart replied as he walked out the door and headed back up the street.

"I sure hope we aren't getting Stewart in hot water," Roger said as he closed the door. Randy simply nodded.

The next morning, Roger heard his cell phone ring while finishing his breakfast. Randy was already at the kitchen sink cleaning up his dishes.

"It's Stewart," Roger said as he picked up the phone and flipped it open. "Hey Stewart. Did you call and get an appointment? ... What?... Local or national?" Roger looked at Randy funny. Randy returned a confused look.

"OK, we will, then I'll call you back," Roger continued before closing the phone and taking his dishes in the kitchen. "He said to check the morning news. Apparently it will be obvious what we're looking for."

Randy and Roger hurried to the computer room and pulled up the local news on the Internet. The first headline was obviously what Stewart was referring to: "Leading Geneticist Discovers Method to Transform Humans to Furs." Randy and Roger glanced at each other.

"Read the article," Roger urged.

"OK," Randy replied as he scrolled down the page and started reading it aloud.

"World renowned geneticist, Dr. Desmond Phillips, held a press conference early this morning. He announced that he has now perfected a method that allows any human to transform into a fur.

"'This ushers in a remarkable period in society and evolution,' Dr. Phillips said during the brief press announcement. 'Now, any human who has longed to become a fur has that option. I believe this is the most important discovery in the field of fur genetics since the first furs mysteriously walked out of the woods over twenty years ago.'

"Dr. Phillips went on to announce that he is in the final stages of opening clinics where anyone may walk in as a human and walk out as the fur of their choice. Neither details of the exact procedure nor pricing were disclosed during the press announcement. However, it was mentioned that the process is not an overnight change and pricing would be reasonable.

"When asked about last week's news story regarding two local residents apparently in the middle of a transformation process, Dr. Phillips indicated that the two were brought back to his research facility to complete the process. They had accidentally been released before the appropriate research on the subjects had been completed."

"Now I'm confused again," Randy said. "If the 'church' where the truck was parked seemed to be a cover for a bodybuilding program, where is the connection to this announcement?"

"It was just a cover, apparently," Roger replied. "In Tank's diary, he explained how he first took some kind of pills simply to increase his muscle mass. The transformation resulted from that. I think he had given the same pills to Ken."

"So he took the pills from the research facility?"

"No, he mentioned that he had purchased them on the black market. Probably the same story with the ones he had given Ken."

"It's starting to make sense now," Randy brightened up. "Through the news leak, he found out about Tank and Ken and wanted to protect his trade secrets until the public announcement."

"Right!" Roger exclaimed. "And he figured that Tom, Julie and myself knew about it, so he wanted to round us up to keep quiet about it until today!"

"So he will probably let them all go," Randy concluded.

"And I am probably in the clear," Roger added. "I'll call Stewart and let him know all this. I guess he won't have to go over there after all."

Roger called Stewart to fill him in on what they figured out after reading the press release. All three agreed they would wait for a week and see if Tank, Tom, Ken, and Julie showed up before making any more plans. Also, to be safe, Roger was going to continue hiding at Randy's place.

"So," Randy smiled after a few minutes, getting up from his seat. "I'm going to take a shower. Care to join me?"

"Sure," Roger smiled back, crawling out of his own chair and following as Randy walked seductively towards the bathroom, stripping off his top on the way.

Randy turned on the shower, allowing the water to warm up as he finished stripping out of his clothes. Roger was slowly removing his clothes as well. Both stood and faced each other briefly, Roger scanning Randy from head to toe. He laughed just a little.

"What?" Randy asked.

"I'm sorry," Roger replied, slowly stroking his stiffening cock. "I'm still getting used to seeing you with, well, you know."

"A cock?" Randy replied.

"Yeah," said Roger. "You're always so feminine. Just seems odd, that's all. I'll get used to it."

"Well, I'll admit I rarely use it for its intended purpose," Randy smiled. "If I had my way, it wouldn't be there. In the meantime, however, I do have this."

Randy climbed into the shower, turned his back to Roger, lifted his tail and exposed his tight tailhole. He glanced seductively back at Roger over his shoulder.

Roger needed no more encouragement. He stepped into the streaming water, grabbed Randy by the hips and slowly sunk his cock into Randy's hole. The combination of water and Roger's precum helped facilitate the insertion.

After initially sliding slowly in and out of Randy, Roger eventually picked up speed and was now slamming his entire length into the tight equine ass, his balls bouncing off of Randy's small nutsack with each inward thrust.

Randy's small cock was erect now, bouncing off his abs with each thrust and dribbling precum on the shower floor. Roger reached a paw around to start rubbing Randy's cock, but Randy pushed it away.

"Just keep pumping me," Randy breathed between moans.

Roger pushed in harder for a few more strokes before he felt he was going to unload in Randy. He pushed his cock deep inside Randy and started spewing a thick load of hot cum inside the tight equine hole.

As Roger felt his knot growing quickly inside Randy's hole, Randy leaned back against Roger's chest, reaching up and wrapping his arms around Roger's neck. Without being touched, Randy's cock pulsed and shot several small loads into the air, splattering onto the shower floor.

Randy remained in his reverse embrace with Roger, moaning as the knot just inside his tailhole stretched his rectum wide. His cock remained erect as he continued to moan and wiggle around on the bloated intruder.

Eventually, Roger's knot subsided and he pulled his cock out of Randy's hole, dribbles of cum running out and sliding down Randy's legs. Both of them resheathed and finished a long, leisurely shower, taking turns shampooing each other's fur.

After they climbed out, toweled off and re-dressed, they retired to the living room couch and snuggled together to watch a movie.

They were interrupted by the sound of a vehicle pulling up out front. Both of them scurried to the window to peek out through the blinds.

A parcel delivery truck was idling at the curb. The driver, a muscular looking bay and white Clydesdale, was holding a small box in one hand and scanning it with a handheld device in his other. He set the handheld on the dashboard and jumped out of the truck, trotting up the sidewalk to Randy's door.

"You stay out of sight," Randy said in a very feminine tone. "I'll get it."

Randy waited for the knock on the door, primping his mane to look as sexy as possible. Instead, he heard the sound of heavy hooves clopping back down the sidewalk. As he opened the door, he saw the driver hop into the truck and drive away.

"Damn!" Randy exclaimed, bending down to pick up the box off the doorstep. "Story of my life."

Randy shrugged and closed the door, turning the box over in his hands and shaking it. Roger got up and wandered over to read the shipping label.

"It says it is from your cell phone carrier," Roger noted.

"Yeah," Randy replied, eyeing the box suspiciously. "I wasn't expecting anything from them, though."

Randy started tearing into the box against Roger's advice. He looked down into the open container. "That's odd."

"What?" Roger asked.

Randy produced the contents of the box. It was a cell phone with pieces of black duct tape hanging from it.

"My cell phone," he replied, turning it over warily in his hands.

"Might pull the battery off, just in case," Roger suggested.

"Good idea," Randy agreed.

Randy pulled the remaining tape off the device, checked to make sure it was still dead, then pulled off the battery.

"I sure hope we're right about them letting everyone go after today's announcement," Randy said quietly. "Otherwise, they'll probably be after me as well."

"Let's hope we're right," Roger replied.

Several days went by without any news or activity, positive or negative. Stewart called for an update and the pair told him about the cell phone appearance. They all agreed if nothing further happened by the following Monday that Stewart would proceed with the original plan of checking out the 'church'.

Randy awakened Saturday morning with a start. Roger was dozing comfortably next to him in the bed. Roger sat up and cocked his head and swiveled his ears. He heard an engine idling outside.

Randy climbed out of bed and carefully peered through the blinds.

"What is it?" Roger asked, stretching in bed and rubbing the sleep from his eyes.

"Police car in Julie's driveway," Randy replied.

Roger crawled out of bed to take a peek as well. As they both watched the car, a police officer stepped out of the driver's door and walked around to the passenger side. The officer opened the passenger door and stood aside, his hand resting on the window frame, his other hand reaching towards his passenger.

The officer stood back up as his passenger stepped out of the vehicle and chatted with him briefly, appearing to offer a word of thanks for his assistance. The officer closed the passenger door and walked around to climb back into the driver's side, waving as he sat down in the car. He backed out of the driveway and cruised away down the street.

"Julie!" Roger exclaimed.
