#15 of Music Story

Chapter 10 of the Music Story is finally here! Me and my commissioner have the whole second season planned already, so this has been far too long since I posted this one. Hopefully, we should have the next one sooner, rather than later. In this chapter, Arya continues her little discussion with Tobias, but as the storm outside swells to full force and the dramatic action music plays, who is to say what is to happen?Music today is from the "Gladiator" soundtrack. We have a few soundtracks this time around, from movies and video games. All of them could be quite fun, indeed. Immediately, I heard this track and was like "Okay... Arya needs to kick some ass."https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cqjh9f8Z5n0

The tiger grabs onto his shoulder as blood flows down his chest. "Heh... what? No... I knew you had it in ya. So... what's this do, huh? Am I going to collapse on the ground, dead in a minute? Or am I going to be writhing in agony for hours before you have me begging you for mercy?

"Neither," Arya says, narrowing her eyes. "You belong to me now, and you will do everything I say as long as my venom runs through your veins."

"That right?" He asks, panting. "Well, then, guess you're the boss now... as long as I get my regular dose..." He pulls his hand away and takes a step forward towards her, his manic grin illuminated by a crash of lightning. "So, what are you going to have me do? Kill myself? Tell me to leave and never come back?"

Arya remains tall and resolute, her fists clenching, her tail twitching ever-so-slightly.

"Or... do you want me to stay? Is that it?" He stops right in front of her, close enough where he could even get a swipe in. "And follow your every whim, like a good boy? Perhaps I was wrong about you, if that's the case. You're not a hunter, you're a dominatrix."

The hand flies at his cheek at such speed that he actually falls to the mud, splashing up against her tail. But he doesn't let that stop him, and he grabs at her, tugging her down. The slippery ground is enough to get her on top of him, and he rolls to top her, but her tail coils around his waist, constricting him as he shoves her head down into the mud. "Come on! You can't admit anything about yourself, can you? Are you that afraid of facing what you are!? Come on. Command me, damn it!"

Arya preses her hands into the mud, her body sinking into the wet expanse. She throws her head back and gasp out a command. "Stop, fine! I enjoy being in control, but it's not because I like it!"

With that, Tobias ceases to move. He breathes slow, deep breaths, but then finally pulls his hand away. "You're right," he says, gripping a hand up under her chin as he leans in, whispering into her ear. "Truth of the matter is, I like ya. I know it's because you got me high as a kite on that venom of yours, but I don't care. You're giving me a thrill I haven't had in awhile, and because of that, I'm going to let you go right now."

Arya's tail squeezes around his body as she growls up at him. "Do you think you're doing me any favors going easy on me?" she says. I'll-"

"What?" He snickers, letting go of her. "Look, being a submissive little toy is all you've ever known. I try to tell you you're a hunter and you reject it. I treat you like my plaything and you don't say nothing. Perhaps that's why you're hiding from yourself." He pulls away from her, standing up and running a hand through his fur. "But damn if you aren't good. If you had your head in the right spot, I'd love to go a round with ya. Maybe even have another fight, if that's what you want."

Arya pushes herself up, wiping the mud from her face. "How about we continue this right now?"

"The storm's over," the tiger says. "But if you really want to do this right here and now, I'd go a round with ya. But I don't think the locals would appreciate it too much."

Arya looks around to see the people, the children, peering out through their cottages, having seen her and the tiger in their primal fight against each other. The sadness is clear in her eyes. "I... I never wanted to be like this... not in front of them."

"Well, maybe it's time you moved on? You're quite the... the force of nature," Tobias says, clutching at his shoulder again. "Storms never stick around for too long... neither should you..."

"And... there could be another place that needs the life-giving rain," she speaks the end of the maxim out loud.

"Howsit?" Tobias asks. "I didn't quite hear that, I... whoa.... Wooo..." His eyes roll back and he falls onto the ground, sprawled out, and unconscious.

"Bloody hell!" The voice comes from Tobias's guide, a coyote who knows the local area. He runs out of the cottage, holding tightly onto his hat. "What was all that about!?"

"Guess for all his boasting, he's a lightweight when it comes to his resistance," Arya says. He'll be awake soon enough. Just in time for me to have all my affairs in order."

"Wait... does that mean?"

Arya nods as she slithers away. "That's right. A friend needs my help, and I need to help her as well."

Arya's meager possessions, the ones that would be of any use to her in the 'modern' world, all come bundled together in a single bag. She drapes it over her shoulder and turns to head out, only to see her teacher stand before her.

"It has been a year since you have come to join us, child," the village elder says.

"I cannot stay here longer. If these people found me here, then others will surely follow."

"Yet, that is not why you're going," the elder responds.

Arya shakes her head, a smile on her mouth. "No, it isn't."

"So, you've finally found out?"

Arya slides on past her and takes in a big deep breath of her cottage. "I found out there's much more to find out about myself, and... bestial he may be, Tobias might very well be the shock I need to move past my problems. Thank you... for everything."

"No, child, thank you." The elder said, and with the two giving their parting glances to each other, Arya finally heads off to the jeep, to leave her purgatory and finally confront herself.
