The Dragon Kingdom - Chapter 9: Zeak's Revenge

Saint and Ark rushed off, heading out of the city. The a third person would catch up to them, Saint would look over and see its Typhona. " Hey guys, I heard about your king. Need a hand? " Sanit would smile and nod. " Thanks I have a feeling we'll need all the help we can get. " The three headed out, rushing for the dragon capital. They ran through the day and most of the night. The finaly reached their destination. They ran through the city and reached the palace. Once in side the head council member looked up and rushed over " Saint thank the gods your here. His majesty was kidnapped. We've sent out guards looking for him. But we thought you would want to help. " He would look over at Typhona then Ark, then Saint. " Who's this? " Saint would look back at Typhona and then at the head member. " This sir is Typhona. The personal guard of Queen Vesta. " The head member would nod and then look at the map of the dragon kingdom. " Here. We've searched in these areas. " He walks over to it, saint, ark, and typhona follow. " So you've searched ring well, the palace, and a good most of the surrounding areas. " Saint would ask. The head member would nod. " Yes. we've extend out range to some of the other villages. But no luck yet. " Saint would think for a second " Did you search by the lake, the one his majesty likes to go to? " The head member would nod. " Yes, we've searched the entire area. " The Typhona would speak up " How do you know he was kidnapped? " Saint, ark and the head member would all look at typhona. " What do you mean? " Askes the head member. " Well he might have left,or ram away. " Saint would shake his head " His majesty would never abandon his people. " Typhona would nod and think, then ark spoke up. " I can use some of my magic to track him down. " The head member would look up and nod.
Ark would head off heading to the kings room. " I need something with the kings sent on it if I intend to find him. " Saint would follow then look at the head member. " Wheres Dreax? " The head mamber would think for a second " He went out on the first patrol. When the king went missing he was one of the first to head out and look. " Saint would nod and continue following ark. They reached the kings room as ark swung the door open and walked in, she would head tohis bed and then hold her hand up telling every one else to stop. " No one move.. Theres... Something in here... A dark sent.. " Saint would stop and look at her " How can you tell? " Ark would loook around " I can smell magic. Like earth magic smells like leaves and dirt, water smells like the ocean, air magic smells like mountain air and fire magic has a burning sent. " The head member would look up. " So what does dark magic smell like? " Ark would step back from the bed. " It smells of death.... " Saint and Typhona would look up. " S-so does this mean his majesty is....? " Saint would ask in a some what odd tone. " No. He's still alive. I can still trak him. " Ark would say as she held out her hands and a green glow formed. It floated off her hands and on to the bed. In a matter of seconds three colors formed, red, green, and black. Then the red and black colors shot off the bed and out the window. " Follow that glow! " Ark would say as she rushed to the window. Saint and typhona rushing off out the main door of the palace. The glow would be heading out east, derectly east. Saint, Ark, and Typhona would rush off heading out following the glow.
It lead them to the ruins of what was once a fort. They quickly speed in side and made there way to the end of the glow. There by the edge of a cliff stood a man wearing black clothing and chained to a stone platform was the king. The man would hold up his hand, pointing it at the king as black lightning shot out of it, zapping the king, he would yell out in pain as he twiched on the ground. Then it stoped when the man let his hand down, he would laugh and then speak. " What the matter, you majesty? Are you in pain? Is the baby gona cry? Ahahahah!! " The man would zap the king again, the king would howl out in pain and agony. Then saint would recognize the voice " ..... Zeak... " Then zeak would smile evily and then walk over to the king. " You see you majesty. This is what happens when you mess with dark magic, this is what you get for not picking me. " As zeak walked closer to the king he would zap him again. The king would yell out in pain once more. Zeak would laugh then stop as he looked out at the ruined fort. " I think its time to finish you off. " Zeak would turn to the king and hold his hands up above his head, a black sphere would form above his hands and it would get bigger. Ark would pull out a bow and arrows. She would aim it at the sphere above zeak, then she would whisper. " Ok, now when I fire this at the sphere it'll blow up and shock this zeak guy, then me and typhona will jump out and attack him keeping him distracted. Thats your sign to sneak around to his majesty and get him out of here. " Both saint and typhona would nod, typhona getting in to position as saint stayed low.
Then just as Zeak was about to let the sphere go an arrow encased magic would hit it and shatter the sphere. Zeak would quickly spin around as Ark and Typhona would jump out. Ark holding her bow and Typhona holding his trident. Zeak would growl and jump at them. First slashing at Ark, ark quickly dodging to the side and firing an arrow. Zeak would form a dark shield and block it as Typhona would charge at him thrusting the trident at zeak. Zeak would duck and grab the trident, he would lift it up thus lifting up typhona and slaming him in to the ground. Zeak would jump back as Ark would fire a few more arrows at him. Zeak would then grin evily. " Let me show you, your majesty, what My true powers can do! " He would glow black and then there would be two of him, they both smile evily as they charged at ark and typhona. The one would blast ark with a dark energy sphere but she would dodge out of the way. The same with the other but typhona would form a barrier blocking it. Then in a flash both of the zeaks blasts typhona and ark with black lightning, Typhona's barrier would shatter and Ark couldn't dodge fast enough. Both of them yelling out in pain as the zeaks continue to blast them. A third zeak would form between the two copies. " How weak, you thought you could fight me. Ha! Pathetic! " Then out of no where Saint would slash at zeak from behind, Zeak would side step and saint would tumble forward. Zeak would grin more evily as he begian to zap saint. " You! I've been wait forever to kill you! " Zeak would yell as he laught and the zeaks zaped all of the group. The middle zeak would hold up his left hand, while still zapping saint with his right, he would begin to form the black sphere again. Zeak would yell as he threw the sphere at saint. " Now Die!!! "
