There is a legend in the Pokémon world. It is said that when the moon blocks the sun completely for 3 following days, every Rock and Steel Pokémon will unite and bring death to the world. We jump into this story By a Dragonite named Sapphir, 5 hours before the global Sundown. Sapphir is a warrior of his Dragon-Tribe, and an Honored one at that. He proved himself worthy to be a Warrior at a very young age, and he exceeded his fellow students in the most important factor: Strength.

''Team, listen up! We have to find food for our Tribe, or everything well be lost and we cannot have the Ceremony of the new Warriors. Do you understand?'' The Commander screamed.

''Sir, yes sir!'' The entire Dragonite group yelled in unison and jumped up, opening their wings and setting off into the bright blue sky. They only had 6 hours left till the Ceremony, and they hád to find food, preferably lots and lots.

''Split up!'' The Commander yelled and the Dragonite each went a different way.

Sapphir headed west, in the opposite direction of the rest. He leaned forward and soared closely above the trees, his eyes scanning the ground and trees for any signs of berries or apples. He flew for hours until finally the red spots of apples blinked in the sun and he landed easily, grabbing the bag he'd been carrying over his shoulder and opened it, starting to put all the apples in it.

''Let's hope this is enough, it's all I can carry..'' Sapphir mumbled and took off again, heading back to the Tribe's den in the mountains.

As he flew the land behind him slowly turned dark, quickly catching up to him and engulfing him in darkness. He stopped flying and looking around in confusion. Nothing seemed to be the same, trees suddenly looked a lot grimmer and the ground a frightening dark. Then he heard it.

Roars and screams from nearby drew his attention, and he flew on blind faith to where the sound came from. His eyes widened in horror as his gaze fell on a burning meadow, flames engulfing the once beautiful and soft grass and dark smoke flying up in the sky. He saw his Commander and the rest of his Team, surrounded by geodudes, onix' and other Rock Pokémon. They were far outnumbered, and he watched in grief as they were mercilessly attacked with Rock Throws and Dig attacks. Sapphir saw his team fighting the best they could, but in the end they were beaten within mere minutes, blood staining the ground as the Attackers roared out their victory.

''MOMMY!'' He heard someone yell nearby and he looked down, spotting a small cyndaquil fleeing from a pair if diglets. He leaned forward and flew down into the forest, dodging trees with trained ease and landing right behind the small Pokémon, roaring threatingly at the Diglet.

''Leave him alone now or you will die!'' He roared as flames shot through the air, illuminating the surroundings with a fire red glow.

The Diglet's eyes opened wide and they immediately went underground, fleeing from the dangerous Dragon-type. Sapphir panted as he watched them disappear and turned around towards the small Pokémon he'd saved, a smile spreading across his face.

''Hello there little one, are you okay?'' He asked worriedly as he knelt down.

''Y-yeah..I believe s-so...'' The small cyndaquil said as his body shook with fear.

Voices emitted from every angle and Sapphir looked around with a growl. ''We have to get out of here or we'll get attacked again, are you coming with me?'' He asked.

''Okay..'' The Pokémon nodded as Sapphir walked to him and picked him up gently.

The Dragonite opened his wings wide and jumped up, giving a strong flap with his wings to pick up speed as he flew off. He flew up high into the sky and picked a direction he thought was save. They flew for a mere 5 minutes before a red orb was shot at them at amazing speed and hit Sapphir full in the side. He screamed out in pain as his scales and the skin underneath was burned away and they fell to the ground. The strong Dragon held the small Fire-type close against his chest as they fell through the dense bush of the treetops and slammed against a tree, a cracking sound echoing through the trees as the tree broke and fell down. Sapphir slid to a stop against a truck and his arms fell limp over his body as his eyes slowly closed, the last thing he saw were dark shadows approaching him slowly, huge flames igniting on their backs to scrorge anything in their path....
