Chapter 5: Answers and information

Author's notes: This is going to probably be the longest chapter out of all of them due to the sheer amount of information and answers given. Now while not every question has been answered yet at this time, these are the ones that can be fully explained along with my theories so far. This can all change of course, but remember this how the story goes down so far. When the time comes for the actual story, I think I can still work in most of what I have with this, it'll just be a little different. But no matter what, I will be with Holly in the end.

Nicholas knew the perfect way to get the four to where he needed to take them. And that was by mentioning he had found out some things on the book. "Wait, you did?!" the Mocha exclaimed with excitement since nothing had come up on anyone's end. The four females were all at his place as he had invited them there. She had also brought the book with her at Nicholas's request.

"Shhhh!" the fosky hissed, looking nervous. "Keep your voice down, Mocha!"

"Why?" Jen asked, a little confused. "It's just us... right?"

"That's the thing..." the fosky gave her a serious look to the said female "You never know who could be listening. Even when it's your own place." Luckily the guy had his protected from prying ears and eyes but you never knew.

"Um... what's that supposed to mean?" Lin questioned.

The long-haired male let out a sigh before speaking. "Let's just say in this world, there are things you may not want to have get out there into the wrong hands, wings, or paws. And I'm not talking about criminals, but more sinister things."

"What are you talking about?" Holly asked, tilting her head cutely.

"I can explain that but not here. Can I ask you four to come with me? Let's just say it's not safe here to do so. But I promise if you do, you'll be in good paws. And I think I can help you get some questions answered about things that have been going on and the book."

Mocha's eyebrows went up. That did sound strangely like what was going on with her. Even Jen and Lin got a bit of a feeling that this guy might help them with things as they to thought a couple of stuff seemed odd. For Holly, not as much, but the vixen was okay since this was the male she loved with all of her heart. It was getting to the point it was like the great love of her life as it just felt that way for the right reasons. "Alright," Mocha told Nicholas. "But you better hold you end of the deal."

"You have my word. Just let me text Meredith and Cody; they're going to help as well. I say the more people to do so, the better." That was fine with the four and the fosky texted the dhole and maned wolf who were on standby in their own car. The message was telling them the four were going to the training room with Nicholas and for Cody and Meredith to get ready to throw off any uninvited followers. The fosky then told the females with him to act natural like they were going on a joy ride before picking something up.

The group of five let the apartment building Nicholas had and got into the fosky's car. Holly rode shotgun to make this seem even less suspicious while the rest pilled in the back. They were right to act natural as the Seleni bitch scum Moria was indeed keeping an eye on Mocha as she had been ordered to by Chandra. Even though to the enemy it looked like the feline was having a normal ride, the one watching wasn't taking any chances and began to follow the car on her wings and powers. What this bitch didn't know was Cody and Meredith were ready and did what needed to be done. At one point, right when Nicholas's car made a turn, Moira ended up falling a bit behind due to running into some of the wild city birds that flew in front of her vision and temporarily stopped her. "Not good!" the bitch stated, trying to get around them.

What she didn't know was these had been part of the plan by Nicholas, Meredith, and Cody to manipulate these animals just a bit by their Eternal Halo powers. Taming animals like this was part of their abilities, but only one type at a time and if there were any in the area. The act was so good, the Seleni didn't suspect a thing. Moira quickly rounded the corner, and to her relief saw Nicholas's car and took after it. But once again, she was being fooled without realizing it. The three Eternal Halo members were using a different power from something else to produce a very powerful and cleaver fake. These could only be done once per day and needed time to prepare, so it wasn't practical in a fight. But done correctly, a simple thing like this could fool even the most powerful of Seleni. And for Moira, her senses were too good to notice the fake. The bitch followed the fake projection which was solid and acted like the real deal. The enemy followed this back to Mocha's place and saw the fake version go out and saw a few words. The projection could do that and the Seleni bitch scum even saw the feline actually open the door and head into her place before seeing the fake car drive off. "Guess nothing to worry about," Moira said to herself. "Hmmm... Mocha seems fine after that incident on Thursday. Perhaps I can take a day off." The Seleni nodded and assumed all was well, heading back to do god knew whatever fucked up shit she had planned. By the time the real Mocha got back to her place, the Seleni bitch scum wouldn't even know it.

But she had been duped big time and would only learn this much later when it was far too late. What Moira hadn't noticed was that the real car had taken a different corner. Cody and Meredith had been on standby and they, plus Nicholas felt the dark presence of Moira. But the three didn't recognize it. All they knew was that it was Seleni and from feeling it, it was very powerful. "This is getting worse," the dhole told his maned girlfriend after the presence passed. "It's gotta be one of the 12 we've heard about." They and Nicholas had never run into Moira but they had run into other Seleni so the three knew when they picked up on that energy by sensing it what was being dealt with. But from the descriptions of higher ranking Eternal Halo members and images, everyone in that order knew Moira was one of those 12 and working directly under Chandra. As for the other 11, it wasn't know who they were at this time. But there were more pressing matters to worry and figure out than that.

"Let's move so we can meet them there," Meredith stated and the male with her began to drive to the place.

Nicholas in the meantime as he drove the real Mocha and the others to the destination also felt the same dark presence and realized the same thing. But thankfully, he felt it pass. "Good... we lost the bitch, whoever it is..." he thought but didn't let his guard down. Not until everyone was in there would the fosky relax as the whole group would be safe there. At least the plan had worked.

Holly noticed her guy's worried look and touched his arm. "Honey, are you okay?" she asked.

"I think so," the fosky replied. "But I'd be much better if we get to the place."

"Can I now asked where?" Mocha asked. She was holding onto the book.

"Hmmm... I would say a place I don't think you knew existed. Almost nobody does as it was built a long time ago for a war. Let's just say it's the perfect place for have a secret meeting and nobody know about it. But I think you and the others need to see it first. Just trust me on this. And it's not far at all."

"How much farther?" Jen said, her arms crossed and frowning.

"I'd say about five to ten minutes with the path we're taking. It's on the city limits."

"Huh... okay then." The female with magenta colored hair was satisfied for now.

The car soon reached a tunnel and went in with Cody and Meredith's right behind them. "Hey... isn't that...?" Lin began, noticing them from out of the corner of her eyes. The panda had also turned her head to look back and see their car.

"Yep, it's those two," Nicholas confirmed.

The fosky then took a side path in the tunnel and stopped at a dead end. Everyone got out and the dhole and maned wolf pulled up, getting out of their car too. These canines saw Mocha had the book, but didn't say anything. "So is this it?" the feline asked. There were lights in here, casting themselves on the walls like they were dancing but nothing seemed out of the ordinary here.

"No, it's in there," the fosky answered, pointing to a section of the wall Mocha and the other three hadn't noticed before. What they saw was a door but had some strange things surrounding it. This wasn't graffiti, but symbols and things that looked like ruins, very similar in appearance as the other necklace Nicholas had. Mocha saw this and instantly, she began to feel weak, just like when her Seleni side woke up only this was different. It was more like her energy wasn't just being drained but also she was being weakened like her whole body was being poisoned.

"Wha... what the hell?!" Mocha whispered and actually dropped to one knee, the book falling from her grasp. The other three who had come here noticed.

Cody moved in a flash and was by the door. None of the four noticed but he quickly said a word in that same language and the ruins and stuff around the door disappeared. "It's okay now, you'll be fine," the dhole called to Mocha.

She suddenly felt. "Okay, what the hell was that?" Jen asked, frowning. "What happened to Mocha there?"

"Sorry, but that had to be done to confirm and it did," Meredith replied. "That won't happen again."

"Yes; now then..." Nicholas went to the door and opened it with a touch. "We can talk in here. I'm sure we've kept those two waiting long enough."

"What two?" Holly asked. "I see just Cody and Meredith here."

"Honey, I said they were joining us. I didn't mention about anyone already inside there."

Mocha picked up the book from the ground, determined to go through this and maybe finally get some answers. Everyone entered but Meredith made sure to close the door and say a different word in that language. The ruins and stuff appeared again, good as new to protected this place.

The inside here was a small tunnel, and there was even light here. As the small group kept going, the same ruins appeared behind them, still keeping this place safe. Then there was a slight slope down and after that the group came to a large metal bunker like door. "What... what is this?" Jen asked.

"This was once a bunker made long before this city rose up to what it is today," Nicholas explained and went up to it. "It was made to protect against bomb raids, but those never happened. It was then discovered and reinforced later so it will stay for a very long time."

The guy placed his right paw on a certain section and everyone could hear the sound of metal clicking and gears moving as the thing became unlocked. The long-haired male gave a might push on the door and it slowly opened inward. "After you," he offered to Mocha. Even now, she and the other three still felt they could trust him. Everyone entered and the door was closed, the same ruins and stuff appearing on it, protecting this from enemies and locking.

The four females looked around and were shocked. What they had been expecting was normal looking bunker with stone, and places to store stuff and hide. Instead what greeted them was a place that really looked like a training area. The walls and ceiling had a blue color that looked very much like the sky. The rest of the floor was made of sand, dirt, and had rocks and boulders of all kinds spread about. It looked like the group had gone straight to some kind of mountain and valley like area. "What the hell; did we just go to some other country?!" Mocha stated.

"Not at all," went a different male voice. It was a bit quiet, yet carried power too.

"Bout time you got here with her and the rest," an elderly female voice added. Her voice sounded like the kind of elderly grandma who was strict, but at the same time someone you could trust.

Everyone here whirled to the right to see the speakers. The first was leaning against a large boulder with his arms crossed, the other was on top of it. "Sorry about that," Nicholas replied. "You know how dangerous the situation is. We had to take precautions."

Holly and the ones who didn't know these two new beings looked. The male was a racoon, appearing to be in his early 30s, with the hair slicked back while being a black like color, and was wearing dark colored clothing. Right in the middle of his forehead was a purple dot, similar like what some cultures did with a red colored one. His black eyes were sharp, but at the same time carried something that allowed the four females to trust him like Nicholas. The female though was very different in physical appearance. While the male racoon was clearly the tallest out of the three males here, she was the shortest of the whole group, just at about 5'0. She was also a red panda, with darker green colored eyes than Nicholas. Her brown colored hair was dulled with age, but still wavy. It only went to the red panda's shoulders. Her face and body had some wrinkles, but not like a 90 year old person. It would seem this red panda was more like 70. Her outfit was more martial arts in appearance with colors that matched her light black and rusty orange fur color. Like all red pandas, she had the long fluffy tail of one too. "Well you made it without them following you; good," the male racoon told the fosky, dhole, and maned wolf with a small smile.

Nicholas looked to Holly and the others. "I'd like you to meet Byron and my mater who taught me to fight, Aiko."

They were stunned, Jen especially. "Wait... you mean this little old lady taught you?" the female with magenta colored hair asked.

"Watch your mouth, you dumbass little brat!" the elderly red panda snapped.

"I'd watch what you say around her," the fosky told Jen. "I said something similar, and she kicked my ass."

Byron the racoon then turned his attention to Mocha. "So... this is the one with the book with the family name and then some..." he stated.

"Wait... you told them?" Mocha asked Nicholas, the book with her family's name clenched a bit tighter to her body.

"It's really the only way you're going to get answers," the fosky replied. "Don't worry, these two aren't going to bite."

"She does have the book," Aiko commented. "But is it the real deal?"

"It is."

"I would like to confirm that first."

Nicholas rolled his eyes and shrugged since Mocha and the other three were looking at him funny. "Just humor them," Cody encouraged the feline.

The one with glasses did by handing the item over. The elderly red panda and racoon opened it. "Oh yeah, this is it alright," Aiko stated.

"And given what we know of it and what Nicholas told us..." Byron didn't finish the thought. Instead, he handed the book back to Mocha.

"Okay, you looked at it, now what is going on?" she demanded.

"Here's let's sit first and explain what this place is and why Nicholas brought you here."

They all gathered by some of the rocks and it turned out it wasn't so bad to sit here. Holly sat next to the fosky while he, Cody, Meredith, Aiko, and Byron all sat across from Mocha. "Now then, listen very carefully with what I'm going to tell you," the racoon stated. "And remember, this might seem unbelievable. But it's the truth and if you think about it, it will explain some of your questions Mocha. And the rest should pay attention as this affects us all."

This male then began with help from Nicholas, Meredith, and Cody while Aiko sat in silence for now by explaining what this area was. This place had once been a previous bunker built for times of war and bomb raids in general. But then it was discovered later on as the current tunnel was being built some years ago. It was decided that this was to be saved and reinforced and converted so training could happen and also so the enemy couldn't eavesdrop as well or sense what was going on with training. For that purpose, what was used to change the landscape was by means of different technologies, some not even known to most to do so. This place could have the current look, a forest, or a desert like environment. These were all shown, much to the shock of the four who had been brought here. But what made this also great was that this place had a constant flow of fresh oxygen so nobody would suffocate and the temperature could be controlled in here too. There were also facilities like a few bathrooms in here with a constant fresh supply of water.

"Okay this is... a lot to take in," Jen said after that part was finished. "But... why is this here?"

"For one purpose," Nicholas replied. "For fighting against supernatural beings called Seleni."

The second the fosky said that, Holly recognized the name from the part she had read in that book. Mocha had a completely different reaction, her right paw flying to her head as it ached with remembering something. "Wait... I've heard of that name..." the feline stated. "I... I know someone told me..."

"And I have too, but it wasn't me," Holly said. "I found it in the book Mocha has."

"Er... what about them?" Lin asked as she had never heard of that race.

"It has to do with everything we do," Byron replied. "It's the one goal of our order that is divided into so many different areas to do so. Stop the Seleni and whatever it is they are planning as members of the Eternal Halo."

The racoon then went on to explain what that order was. It was group of both males and females of all different species and backgrounds. Anyone who was mortal could become one in general and was a choice given. And that was because everyone, no matter how small or great, had the potential to learn and powerful abilities that allowed them to deal with supernatural threats that threatened mortals like the Seleni. For that evil race was really in control of things. Forget the politics and business of the world, it was the Seleni bitch scum who pulled and manipulated strings from the shadows. That was why the Eternal Halo existed to stop them and protect mortals. The members did this by going throughout the world as there was no exact way of knowing how many Seleni existed or other dangers. All members were trained in the art of hand to hand combat and with weapons both modern and ancient. For the weapons, they chose whatever fit them best. However, their greatest ability was to tap into elements, other abilities, and ruins. There were eight main ones with eight more that were branches in some form of the original. The original eight were fire, water, wind, ice, stone, earth, light, and shadow. The branch elements were wood, lighting, metal, sound, or sometimes called sonics, acid, tryna, which was another word for giving non-living objects life to fight for the user, and lava. Every element had their own strengths and weakness and of course how powerful the user was determined how strong the element was. However, every single one had limitations. At first the four didn't believe this part until seeing all five members demonstrate. For Nicholas, he could use wind and water, plus had a little power with lighting. Seeing these demonstrations showed this was real and not a trick.

It was to be noted that each element not allowed a user to do different things, but there were also the other powers and abilities to aid them in fighting. For the other abilities, all Eternal Halo members were taught how to detect Seleni energy, other enemies, or if one had been influenced by those two things no matter how little it existed or how much they tried to hide it and know who was one of the enemy. However, an Eternal member had to focus on the target, so if they weren't paying attention, they might pass a Seleni and not even realize it. Another ability was to a point of manipulating and controlling wildlife, just like Nicholas, Cody, and Meredith had with those birds to throw the bitch that had been keeping an eye on Mocha off the feline's trail. This went even further with being able to summon monster companions to aid in battle. These ranged from dragons to humanoid figures. And which ones that could be summoned determined the element an individual Eternal Halo members could use, so they couldn't summon all of the monsters that were in the arsenal the organization had. These being lived in a completely different dimension that could only be opened by portals. How these were opened was by energy and using other monsters summoned to do battle. Sometimes it only took a little, sometimes it took a lot as all of these companions were of different strengths and weaknesses and abilities. For Nicholas he could bring forth creatures of wind and water, but also dragons as well. The fosky did demonstrate a few to show this off. It was said that the dimension could be accessed by any other way and nobody could enter it to it at all. And once the battle was over, the monsters from this dimension were returned back to their home.

A second important ability was the ability to recover a person's memories, no matter how buried or whipped out they were. This really spoke out to Mocha who had been missing part of her life due to the interference of the enemy. Another was opening portals to travel from place to place, but this couldn't be used in battle. A fourth power was able to sense dark intentions and negative feelings, thoughts, and emotions in a being. For the latter, these could be caused by hardship, all the way to insecurities and self-doubt. The fifth ability talked about was able to send out positive waves to help sooth emotions to a point. But one of the greatest abilities was the gift of immortality and forever staying the age when it was given. Aiko had it and was actually a 170 despite looking only 70. But this was a gift only those who truly wished and asked for received. Even then, the member who wanted it still had to prove themselves. But thanks to that she would never die by natural means and most diseases. However, there were still ways she could be killed but they were very few. But for all members was how fast an Eternal Halo member could recover from wounds. They were quick healers, but they couldn't regenerate limbs. Only those with immortality could like Aiko. The other four here didn't have that gift and as such were more mortal, even if they were tougher than say Lin who had no fighting experience at all.

However, even these weren't enough and why ruins existed. Nicholas ended up drawing a few on the ground in the dirt to show examples. Due to them being drawings, they wouldn't affect Mocha as they weren't real. But they did many things from enhance strength, healing, repealing, and other things. There were a lot of them and all could be used to help repel and defeat the enemy. Thanks to them, one of the things that had come out of it was a language, the same kind Meredith, Cody, and Nicholas had spoken before. It was titled Abyss as it seemed to carry power from a deep and different dimension when spoken. With this came a few spells like teleportation that Nicholas had used on the book to get that to his place. But it couldn't be used on living beings. Just like the elemental powers, these were demonstrated and shown but the ruins as to use them right now would have weakened and injured Mocha due to her Seleni self. Nobody wanted that and it wasn't the time to show the ruins in action yet. "Hmmm... okay so you guys are like some kind of ninja, secret society, origination group thing..." Mocha said slowly. ""Kinda also like a religious organization similar to the Vatican."

"Funny, it's a bit like that, but not as religious and strict as them," Nicholas pointed out. Now it was time to explain a bit of what he, Cody, and Meredith had been up to. Those three had been living in the city for about 4 years, when the fosky was 18 after his failed mission. That had been in the middle east when the fosky had been sent to find an artifact for the Eternal Halo. But the Seleni had their eyes on it to. The male had fought but lost badly against her but luckily she had been called back with the item. Nicholas stated he hadn't forgotten or forgiven her and had been training his ass off for a rematch. This was the same Seleni bitch scum and thing the fosky had talked about with Cody and Meredith on the roof.

"Sounds bad... who was it?" Jen asked.

"I will tell that in full detail and who in a bit. But there's more to tell. However... we're do for a break, don't you think Byron?"

"A quick one," the racoon agreed and stood up to stretch. "I'll be waiting right here for everyone to come back." Everyone else nodded and went to either stretch or use the bathroom, just processing this information. It was a lot, but somehow they were able to do it. Maybe it had to do with the calming powers the Eternal Halo members had. Holly did ask Nicholas if his family knew what he did. The fosky did tell her they knew very well as they were members too. He then smiled, thinking maybe in time they could meet this beautiful vixen he loved so much and was going out with. They would in time, but not yet.

Once the break was finished, everyone gathered in the same spot again. "So... that was informative... but what does this have to do with us?" Mocha asked.

The five Eternal Halo members knew this was it, the way to show the feline what was happening to her. "Tell us, did you feel weak or something before entering here?" Nicholas asked.

"Yeah, why?"

The fosky took out the ruin around his neck. "Does this one have the same effect?"

The moment Mocha saw it, the same thing from when she had first arrived at the entrance happened again. Everyone noticed it and realized whatever it had been wasn't a coincidence. "Ugh!" she grunted in pain. Nicholas put the ruin away under his shirt.

"It's gone now," he told her and Mocha felt better.

"What... what was that?" she whispered.

"That thing you saw was one of the ruins we of the Eternal Halo have. It's called an Angelic Ruin, and it's power is blessed and holy. It's one of the main ways to fight against the Seleni. They're more on the demonic evil side so this affect them. But there is another one, but it's used more for beings of light." Byron the spoke to explain about the first race of beings and the other in general. This was after explaining how the place the group was at couldn't be accessed by the enemy thanks to all of those ruins protecting the place by repelling them. However, Mocha got in because they were temporarily removed. Byron also made the important note that the Eternal Halo was neither Seleni or Nephilim, and neither belonged to the light or dark.

With help with this part of the explanation what was in the book that had been brought. Mocha, Lin, and Jen finally learned about these beings. Holly had already read this but it was a good review for her. According to the book Mocha had, the Seleni and Nephilim were considered spirits of the moon and sun. They were among the oldest known divine beings and gods recorded. It was believed they were once brother and sister, ascended to divinity by the creator to become the living links between the spirit of earth and its celestial bodies; the sun and the moon. The divine siblings created their own race from within the ranks of mortal kind, conferring semi-divine status on chosen mortals as their children. The children of the sun were named Nephilim, the children of the moon were named Seleni. The former bore bright white wings and had fiery eyes, and protected all the animals from the terrible monsters that lurked in the primal darkness. The Seleni bore black wings and tails and guided mortals away from their darkest paths with their endless love and wisdom. Both races were tasked to guide all animals to their final goals, in service of a greater cosmic future. But in modern legends, only the oldest living Seleni, or the "Firstborn" Nephilim had the power to ascend mortal animals, creating new immortal daughters of the moon. The Seleni, according to the book, were always female, following their elder on a path of eternal duty. The task of giving counsel and relief to mortal animals in exchange for their worship.

However what the book didn't mention was after the rise of these two races, the Eternal Halo had first formed very shortly after. None of the oldest current members were those that had been around despite being immortal. But they did have memories and knew the first who had been as they had either been children or had some other connection with the first Eternal Halo members. None of the five here though were among them, only the elders and leaders. But this order represented the earth, hence why they were neither the light or dark. And the order had at one point worked with both races. That is until everything changed but that reason would be told in a bit. Especially since there was more about the Seleni in general. But first the five Eternal Halo members pointed out the two pics, one showing what a Seleni and a Nephilim looked like, stating how despite these figures were in black, this wasn't fully what either could look like. But there was a symbol, a diamond with a couple of line like patterns branching off from it and that some Seleni, including the eldest had them. It was to be noted that Seleni also right at the color bone had a symbol appear, similar to what looked a gem with a representation of the sun and moon that came out when showing their true form. They also had horns, and the more horns one had, the more older and powerful that Seleni was. The max one could have was six horns. Also their eyes glowed red when fully in their power, they could send objects and people away with energy like a push, they could fly for quiet long distances, their wings aided them in battle, and like a succubus, could seduce their prey. How this was done was by trickery, despicable manipulation by words, and worst, by their tails. Each tail was pointed at the end and stung, sending a poison into the veins of a person. It brainwashed the being under the Seleni's mind control. Males and females were affected the same, and the person would be forced to do things with no choice from suicide, to even worse, doing sexual acts that were horrid, sick, twisted, and fuck up abominations. Like cheating, swapping partners, even fucking with no passion, connection, or love. Just mindless fucking that was disgusting. This poison could also bring forth a person's inner darkness in the heart, no matter how hidden or buried deep it was. However, there was a way to counter this.

First for the Eternal Halo members, they were all immune to the poison a Seleni had in the tail. But the stronger one was, the more powerful a member had to be to resist. It also was a matter of will, spirit, and resolve to overcome the poison too. As for the inner darkness the Eternal Halo members had, it could get to the point it could scare a Seleni or weaken them as it wasn't the kind of doubts, fears, and things like that which could be used to the advantage of the scum bitch race. What the inner darkness Eternal Halo members had was more the hatred, anger, and rage against the Seleni, something that could be used against the former. But a major weakness of the Seleni, or one of them, was their poison. That was a double edge sword because if a Seleni was struck by another of their race, the poison had a much different effect. It could actually weaken or permanently kill a Seleni unless they took an antidote. And the antidote only worked for one sting at a time. That meant if the same being got stun again, they would need another cure as they couldn't build up an immunity to their poison like an Eternal Halo member. There were other weaknesses to talk about, but those would be a bit later. Meanwhile the four females being told all of this were certainly paying attention, definitely a little scared, but still listening. This hadn't triggered any of Mocha's memories yet. But it was somehow sounding familiar to her, some of this information. But the feline didn't pry as there was even worse news. The five Eternal Halo members brought up the fact that among the enemy, there were 12 who were exceptional powerful. They were the same ones Menance had stated earlier on. And there was more. Byron mentioned how he had, when first coming here had possibly run into a Nephilim. It was the one who was helping Mocha find her family name, Faolan, the black furred lupine.

This brought disbelief among the four for sure. But the racoon showed proof that made him suspect he was 90 percent sure Faolan was the other race. Although Mocha explain he was going to help her look up her family name, the Eternal Halo members did warn her and the rest to not trust him. This was only because for now, nobody knew where he stood. "Plus I can sense what he really is," Byron added. "His energy and spirit is exactly that of a Nephilim." The male paused. "If he does find more on your family name Mocha, that is fine. But do not, do not go with him and find that information out without contacting me or the others here first. And what I will tell you next will make you see why in case he is an enemy and to be careful who you interact with. And it has to do with the Seleni, one of them in particular who is known to be the first born, actually fucking and manipulating four individuals before this whole thing started."

Although no Seleni bitch scum names were given at this time, the five Eternal Halo members knew who had been involved. The four victims had been two males and two females. One of the girls was named Jessie, a vixen with grey fur, short purple hair, and amethyst colored eyes that were a different shade than Holly's. Then there was her boyfriend Martin, a male vulpine with duel colored eyes and a tan and light grey fur pattern like a German Shepard. The third was a male dragon with green scales and even wings named Zu. The final victim was his girlfriend named Shizuka, another vixen but with orange colored fur that was a different shade than Nicholas's, and had short dark colored hair, but that was a bit longer than Jessie's. It was the first vixen's birthday, and before going to a restaurant Martin had given her his first gift. It was a pendant that had two halves that separated, one for her and him. These would always allow the other to find each other no matter how far apart they were. This would come in handy later. But darkness was in that place for at the time Chandra was working there as one of the waitresses. The bitch had been for long enough to get familiar with this group. Once told the reason of why the four had come here, the four mistakenly invited Chandra to their place by their own free will. But when Chandra was leaving she had spotted Mu and Eta on standby in a darkened corner and they knew their head bitch boss was going to use her evil powers tonight.

At Jess and Martin's place, though she learned how the four had known the other as kids, and how they stood in their relationship, the evil Seleni bitch scum had made them uncomfortable. The fucked up female had asked questions if they had ever thought of swapping or sharing. The ladies then went to the kitchen, leaving the guys behind with Martin telling Zu that there was something unnatural about Chandra and her looks. In the kitchen she pestered the two ladies again before stinging them with her tail. What followed was disgusting sex, swapping, sharing, and being unfaithful due to the four being mined controlled by the bitch even after they told her they weren't interested. The head Seleni bitch scum then took Jessie to a warehouse while ordering the other three to finish. The males with no choice of will fucked the other vixen at once. As for Mu and Eta they saw Chandra leave that apartment on her ugly wings with Jessie and the middle part of the pendant. They followed to keep an eye out on things. In the morning, the three friends woke up, confused, but then remembering and feeling great shame and embarrassment. Zu then got pissed, grabbing his vixen with showing how she was his only. They were not happy at all. But there was a way to find Jess, and that was the half Martin had to track her half down. But in the warehouse, the poor vixen was about to get another horrible experience. Somehow Chandra summoned tentacles to rape the poor female. Though her body looked like it was accepting it, her heart and mind weren't. When the fucked up thing was over, Jess was offered a choice, to join the Seleni. Of course the vixen refused, even after hearing why Chandra was doing all this.

The other three found the warehouse with Mu and Eta guarding the entrance. Those the two bitches tried to get the friends to leave, but the four wouldn't. Being hot headed, the Seleni bitch twins lost their cool and one was stung by her own tail during the fight that had broken out. That caused them to retreat as the one stung would die without the antidote, but sadly she had survived. Martin ran in to rescue Jess, and Chandra was there, almost fully in her ugly Seleni form, minus the horns and markings. Though she pretended the vulpine's love was doomed, Jess then came out. The head bitch Seleni said a few more words, one of which was a lie, and the group tried to get her. But being the first born, there was no way they could. The head bitch then took off with the stolen thing, and that was the last they saw of her. At least for now. Although they had gone through that horrible experience, it would change them for the better. For one thing, the two males and two females would never do something like that again. They hated it and were loyal to the one they were dating. But then the next day Nicholas, Meredith, and Cody arrived to talk to them about this. A useful tip had alerted the three as the fosky, dhole, and maned wolf were nearby on a different mission for their order. Bringing the four in, the Eternal Halo learned everything that had happened, confirming theories, allowing them to know that things were in motion, and that the Seleni bitch scum had to be stopped once again. But seeing as how the four had tried to stand up to the Seleni and even given Mu and Eta trouble, the four who had been victims were offered a chance to being in the Eternal Halo, or to help them take down Chandra. They agreed without a second thought. The four were still in the main order building, not only training, but being cleansed and purified after what the bitch Chandra did to them. After learning more about the Seleni, the friends were even more horrified and disgusted, determined to never go back to that restaurant again. They now hated Chandra even more now, especially the males. But best of all each couple was with their one and only, only making love with the one being dated from just as it always should have been.

Byron then finished up this story. In the present with Mocha, Holly, Jen, and Lin, all four were shocked and disgusted. They had been shown pics of the four victims faces though and were told they would join up at a later time. "This is why for now, you shouldn't trust anyone," the racoon told them. "Not even family as they could be under enemy influence or be the enemy themselves."

"But... why do that?" Jen then asked. The Eternal Halo members told the four briefly a war against the Nephilim was coming, a second one, and somehow the head Seleni bitch scum. As Eternal Halo members, it would be up to them to stop the enemy. But if war happened, they would be ready so it wouldn't be as devastating as the last one.

"Scary..." Holly whimpered.

"I know love," Nicholas reassured his girlfriend. "War isn't a fun or beautiful thing. But in it, you've got to do whatever it takes to win and make it out alive. The enemy will play dirty for sure. And we'll be forced to do so too."

"But wait... who was that Seleni searching for and how is she going to stop it...?" Mocha asked slowly.

Byron looked at her with seriousness. "It's you she's after," he replied. "The first born named Chandra, a mongoose."

The second that came out, Lin and Mocha had very different reactions. For the panda, that was the boss she and the feline had been introduced to as well as remembering what Mocha had said about the nasty bad vibe she'd felt from the evil bitch. But for the feline, her head flashed with pain, the worst yet. Memories that had been sealed and erased were coming back, the ones the Seleni bitch scum had tried to erase. Not all, but the flood gates had started to open, including that for the power within her. The five Eternal Halo members instantly sensed the awakening of Mocha again, only this time, there would be the right kind of help for the feline. "Shit, she's going there!" Nicholas snarled and leapt to his feet.

The others jumped up as well while Holly and Jen and Lin were all pushed back by the amount of power that was awakening in Mocha. "What the hell?!" the second female exclaimed. "MOCHA!"

Byron instantly began to chant in the Abyss language, his energy coming out like the feline's. The others did as well, a few ruins appearing as well to help with this situation. The racoon shouted and grabbing one of these, the male got to Mocha. He placed the tips of all five fingers on the right paw on her forehead. There was a blinding flash of light that made the other three shield their eyes. But when they looked, their eyes had to adjust to normal light first. What had happened had been that bright. "M... Mocha?" Lin asked softly. And there the three ladies saw the feline. The five Eternal Halo members were in position just in case but the feline had changed. Right there she like the other three saw for the first time what Mocha had been turned into against her will by the head bitch Chandra. The feline had to be calmed down and that was no surprise. Her entire life had been the most affected and turned more than just 180 degrees and flipped upside down. The five did tell her, that while there was no known way to restore her and rid this, the fact she had not been fully awakened meant there might be a way and that Ama might hold the answers. In the meantime they would help Mocha learn to control her Seleni self for what was to come. But now the time had come to talk to the four. To tell what could about each of their past, and what had lead up to this. But not before learning of the upcoming war and Chandra was trying to stop it in her horrible, twisted, fucked up, unholy ways. Even though unknown to her it had already begun and there was no way to stop it.

Mocha, Jen, Holly, and Lin began, with the feline being last. They told the five everything they could, from three of them meeting Chandra, to the night Mocha last saw Ama. For the vixen, Nicholas was very upset but she didn't blame her love at all. At least the reason why a fight hadn't happened was the fosky hadn't visited the library. But it was suggested that even if she just started working there, Chandra most likely had used her evil powers to get to that position. Mocha also did talk about how long she had known Ama, but made no mention of actual sex or the dream. Only when asked she had a very erotic one of the missing Seleni. It was then asked, did she truly have feelings for Ama at all. The female still wasn't sure and confused. The feline was told that she didn't have to give a full answer at this time. But she was still asked what would she do in general if Ama was found and reunited? Or say if Ama died and to just think on that. What the Eternal Halo members did also learn of Mocha was not only not knowing who her dad was, but what she remembered about her mother dying in that fire. How her elder sister Coccoa had grabbed the box of their mom's stuff and only seen something that looked like an angel carry her away. The Eternal Halo members suspected what had really taken the feline's mom, a Nephilim. They shared that but as to who it was and why Mocha's mom hadn't come forth they couldn't say. But now the feline knew there was a chance her mother was still alive. Although it wasn't known where her sibling was, hell even what Coccoa did, Mocha did talk about the box that contained her mother's stuff. What was interesting was there was a necklace as one of those things and very similar to the one Jessie had been given that the bitch Chandra had stolen. Describing what it looked like made the five Eternal Halo members more weary. These things had to be looked into, but nothing would come up right away on them when it came to looking into them due to how mysterious and deep these things were. But Mocha was promised her mom's things would be returned to her right away.

Then more was told about the night and day when Mocha invited Jen to be a roommate. All sides were told including the fight that broke out with the past gang the latter used to be a part of until she had been sent to jail for a crime and taken a fall for them. How Mocha had awakened and used her anger and power to make the one gang member who was going to kill her flee. Of how Jen knew Coccoa and owed Mocha's sibling her life. The only things left out were the sex parts Mocha had shamefully done due to her need for spiritual energy in that horrid way. The only thing she did mention was that it had first happened with the suspected Nephilim and then the Seleni who was rouge. But for Lin, the panda really did open up about her insecurities that ran deep when it was her turn to talk. It was everything, from her looks, shyness, and wondering if she felt she really belonged. This female was then told by Mocha and all that none of what she thought was true. With talking and encouraging, the panda felt better. But she was given a warning; if she didn't get over these insecurities and doubts, the darkness from them could be used against her and to the advantage of the enemy. Lin promised she would do her best, not wanting to be used by the enemy. However what was to be noted, she, like the other three, couldn't reveal meeting with the Eternal Halo members as by the end of this, a binding vow of silence would be taken. Not one with like blood needed, but power and ruins to seal the deal. With all this information, things made more sense to the Eternal Halo members here and everyone else. It also explained why Nicholas, Cody, and Meredith were unaware Ama had been in this city or the fire or Chandra. All three had been out on other missions for their order. And it was the same at the night of the restaurant as if the three had been in the city, they would have sensed things and then event might have turned out differently.

But the last important information was that Mocha had run into one of the twelve Seleni who were very powerful and Meness. Now it was time to talk about the enemies that were known. Chandra had the most information, including how she and Ama were biologically sisters. This shocked the four, but there was more. Ama wasn't colored like the other Seleni bitch scum. Her wings, horns, everything was white in color. Apparently she had committed a great sin according to her sister, but what that was, none of the five Eternal Halo members could be sure. But they had their theories. As for Chandra, she had her own weaknesses. Like all Seleni, she could be affected by holy weapons and blessed one too. The next weakness was that powerful emotions like rage and fear could use up the energy a Seleni had more quickly, draining them. Another was that Seleni who tried to exert their will on resisting mortals was even more taxing. Not to mention it fried the former's brains. However, the head bitch had her own personal weaknesses including flawed viewings of the world. Whatever her original purpose had been, she was now corrupted with no chance of redemption or being saved, including those under her. How the head bitch scum viewed love as being strong but not smart, how there were no pure hearted people in this world, and somehow she was above all that. But the bitch herself wasn't smart at times as during the time of the four victims, she had almost let slip about living during the actual great depression. That was no surprising as Chandra had lived for thousands of years being the first born. That was during the time she had told the four that lie, the lie that the Seleni couldn't force anyone to decide or do anything they didn't really want, deep inside. But that was complete bullshit as the four proved they didn't want to share or swap. It was because the poison brainwashed those mortals. Chandra had used that excuse to stop another war, not the big one coming but a minor one in her eyes. But it was disgusting and it had resulted in a monster being created to fight against the Seleni. It had happened between two countries, and while cheating had been involved, Chandra had made it worse in the eyes of the Eternal Halo. She had once again snuck her way into a position of power as a counselor. She had gathered both kings, their wives, and a number of others. Stinging them all and brainwashing them, what followed was a disgusting fuck fest. The kind with no love, connection, emotions, or passion. But while the war had been averted, it raised a question. How much had the head bitch influence in history? But the most important part was who it had really affected. During that horrible sick abomination, one male arrived. It was an Eternal Halo member who had been held up late. And this person was a friend to Byron's father, a brother like figure. To the friend's horror, shock, and disgust, he not only saw the fucked up shit and Chandra, but his own wife who was being fucked by many others. This caused the male to snap, lashing out and slaughtering everybody in the room, but Chandra who just managed to get away. That person was in the Eternal Halo order main building, and waiting for the day to be unleashed. And he was unable to love ever again thanks to the head Seleni bitch scum.

Though the Eternal Halo members destroyed that castle and all the presence in it, this was one more unforgivable act to Chandra and all those under her that added to the list of other horrid acts. Only Ama and now Mocha were the exceptions as the former had provided much information to the Eternal Halo order. And it show Chandra couldn't love or form true bonds. Just hide, fuck with mortal lives, manipulate, and deceive for her own fucked, twisted, selfish reasons. Including changing the females she selected to be her brainwashed Seleni followers. The next one talked about named Moira, a gazelle with blonde colored hair, a beauty mark, and green eyes and was the only known Seleni who was one of the 12 mentioned earlier at this time. The other 11 weren't known. But that made her the second most powerful under Chandra as it was known that bitch was in the same group working directly under the head Seleni bitch. Though bright and cheery, she wasn't to be underestimated. However, Moira wasn't smart in other ways. But worst of all somehow she was Chandra's sister-in-law, meaning another family member had to be dealt with. At this time, none of the five could handle her. But the one who had been fucked with Chandra earlier, and certainly the Eternal Halo leaders and elders could.

Byron then talked about the next one as he had faced against her and lost badly. But it allowed him to get stronger and not to underestimate her or Seleni again. He showed that hidden under the purple dot was an ugly scar that had been caused by her. It was the Seleni named Schylla, a black furred lioness with red marking around the eyes, spikey short blue hair with red at the ends, and black colored eyes. In Chandra's group, she was the next strongest, on the same level of the rouge one Mocha had run into. One of her personal weakness was her hot fiery temper, but also she hated to be called Illa. Byron had learned of these things during these things when they had fought and he planned to use this to his advantage next time they did.

The final ones mentioned were the twins Eta, and especially Mu. Eta was much darker in color in fur than her twin Mu and had green eyes with dark purple hair. However, she was not as hot headed as her twin sister. It had been them who had stopped those three victims from trying to rescue Jess in the past. They had stated how that vixen victim had been chosen and that the three were to forget about her since the "ritual" was important and couldn't be interrupted. But one of her weakness was her sibling and if you attacked Mu, you would have to deal with the other twin. But then Nicholas went on to explain about Mu. He revealed his mission when they had fought. He had been in the middle east, and locating an artifact. The Seleni for some reason wanted it too and he and Mu had fought. She had beaten him badly and why the fosky had been training hard for the rematch against her. Mu though for her personal weaknesses was being much more hot headed than her twin. One thing you didn't do was insulting Chandra like calling her mad. However, even though both twins were young and inexperienced even for fully awakened Seleni, one was best not to take it easy with them. Even if Chandra could literally make the twins look like children. It wasn't known how long the twins had been Seleni but it had to be less than 200 years at the most.

It was then said while all three factions, Eternal Halo, Seleni, and Nephilim were aware of the other, it wasn't with how close in proximity they were. Even Chandra, despite meeting Holly, probably had no idea the vixen has interacted with Nicholas, an Eternal Halo member. Luckily all the places for the fosky, Cody, and Meredith were protected and even their rooms, so Seleni and the other faction couldn't enter or hear what was going on. They doubted the sister-in-law was even concerned with the five Eternal Halo members as her focus was all on Mocha. Though the feline was creeped out with being watched, now she knew what was going on and that gave her some satisfaction and also knowing she had friends and allies to help fight this. Everyone would get this protection for their places when this meeting was over. For it was said, though the Eternal Halo, Seleni, and Nephilim had once worked and lived in harmony in the ancient past, thanks to Chandra, that bond and alliance was broken forever. But the last thing that had to be shown was one of the forms the five had. And Nicholas did because he had the most riding on this because of Holly.

After standing up with some space given, the fosky hunched over, the power gathering in a form of energy that everyone could see. The male then arched his back in a flex of power and from his back four wings emerged. They metalized into existence so they weren't going to rip his shirt. The top most wing on the right was blue in color and like that of an angel. But the top most one of the left was more like a dragon's with the main color being light green like the foksy's eyes. But for the membrane there were light black colored feathers instead of skin. The bottom wings were flipped with the second dragon wing being on the right and the angel like one on the left. The four who had been told all of this information were still surprised and stunned even after seeing all they had. Nicholas no longer looked like his normal self or felt it. They could feel the energy and power emitting from the male's body. But it wasn't meant to cause harm at all. He then looked up, his eyes glowing a little with power and being a lighter green. But the four ladies could still see he was still the same, especially his Holly. "This is one final ability we Eternal Halo members have," he said softly, trying his best not to seem frightening. "Though every member has four wings shaped like mine, they are all different colors for every individual to a point. They also are formed by our energy and as such can't be broken like say a limb and be unusable. We can just imply reform them."

The fosky then looked to Holly. "I'm sorry if all of this is such a shock," the long-haired male whispered. "I'm sorry if this has changed everything you knew and the others did with this world, but it had to be done..." Nicholas reached out with his right hand to his vixen. "Does all of this frighten you my love?"

Though Holly had been surprised and shocked, she didn't hesitate in responding to the male with glasses. The female walked right up to him until they were face to face while the other three hung back. The Arctic fox reached up to touch is left cheek with her right paw. "How can I ever be?" she asked, her voice having nothing but love in it. "Nicholas, you are still the same fosky I love so much and can't be with. I will always love you..."

They kissed, his wings wrapping around her briefly before shimmering away. That alone was good enough for the other three who couldn't help but smile. Leave it to Holly to show that things were alright. The couple then pulled back. "And I will always love you forever..." the fosky whispered to his vixen. "I promise, we'll both make it through this no matter what."

"Yes... And no matter what happens or is revealed, nothing will change for me. I will always be and stay with you honey. Even if it's for something as me as well..."

"That's quite a deceleration on your end to say," Aiko then stated. It caused the couple to look to her and saw her version of a smile. "However... It shows that love is really powerful when two do very much and are meant to be together." The red panda looked to Holly next. "You found a good guy Holly. That man of yours has great eyes. They're proud and strong, full of strength, fire, and love. I can tell he will do anything to keep you safe and nothing will stop him..."

Holly was flattered and looked to Nicholas with a loving smile. "Yes... and if that's not enough then perhaps a final power will," he added.

"Final power?" Jen asked. It was Byron who explained what the long-haired male meant. All Eternal Halo member had a more powered up form. It could be seen either in the form of a type of energy armor, a mask that was white and demonic, or even more enhanced form. Everyone was different in the order so there was no telling what either of these three things would look like. But they all had duration periods and required a lot of strength and energy to maintain and much training was needed to maintain them. Especially in the heat of a serious fight. But there was only one level for each person. And just like how everyone had different levels of strength, one of these didn't necessarily mean the member was stronger than a Seleni or say stronger than another power up a different Eternal Halo member had. It just helped even the playing field and for the monsters summoned, there were those among those that could achieve a more powerful form. The part of each being not being better than another applied too. But with this, at last, everything had been explained to the four and now it was to figure out what was to be done until the head Seleni bitch scum returned.

It was decided that the four would then be trained for the coming confrontation. They weren't going to be made Eternal Halo members, but rather given a chance to stand up to a Seleni. Nicholas would take care of his Holly as much as he could and everyone else would be handled by the rest. The whole group would train here and thanks to the five Eternal Halo members here, the four females were given an item to help open a portal that would allow them to access this place from anywhere they were. Even if out in public, though that wasn't recommended. It was recommended to do the portal from their own places. That way the four and the rest could go about their daily lives and then retreat to their homes to train here later without anyone knowing. But for Mocha, she was given a little something extra. The feline was given something to help produce a cleaver fake and so that way anyone watching her would be fooled. After all the sensing and watching was too good for the Seleni bitch scum Moria and able to be tricked. Mocha was also given some pills. With these she wouldn't explode like how it had been mentioned she was a ticking timebomb. With these pills it would help her not crave spiritual energy and keep her powers in check. With this, the pills would make it so the feline could go a whole year without needing that spiritual energy. There was hope and now time which the group hoped to find Ama again as that Seleni was the only one out there no only on their side, but who might have more answers to their questions. As for the bitch watching on Mocha, she wouldn't be able to sense or suspect anything and figured somehow by luck or fate the feline's power's haven't blown without being aware why. She would just end up keeping an eye on Mocha and find nothing.

Everyone then safety returned to their own homes that night and the next day was when things began to start moving. Things were looking up for certain. Especially when Jen, Lin, and more important Holly were given protection, not just for themselves, but their places as well so the enemy couldn't enter. Mocha could, but she needed a couple of things to bypass the protection. It was to be noted that for Lin had extra work. As mentioned earlier, she couldn't betray any of the information that the five Eternal Halo members had given out or about the training. But those self-doubts that were building up that inner darkness were still there. So the panda's goal was to get over them. After all, if they even lingered a bit, that was all that was needed to be used as a weapon against the group. It would be up to the panda if she could fully get over her insecurities. In the end, they would always linger a bit. But for all four females, this training would make it so none of the enemy can't tell Mocha and the others had interacted with Eternal Halo members, plus those four could mask their energy and strength to make it seem like nothing has changed along with how they acted. Well except for one thing that came up and that was Mocha talking to Holly and Nicholas about a truth. The feline admitted that when she had first seen the vixen, and that had been on the day Mocha was given that book, the feline had kinda gotten a crush on the Arctic fox due to Holly's looks. The vixen was surprised as was her fosky and while flattered, Holly told Mocha that it wouldn't have worked. Even if she wasn't Nicholas's girl, the vixen was actually straight and wasn't into female that way, only guys. The long-haired male at least could tell the feline did respect the relationship he had with Holly and wouldn't get in between that. The guy with long hair did warn the feline though what would happen if Mocha did and not to try him. The fosky also did warn his Holly of not being too friendly, not just because of the relationship, but also so that it didn't trigger Mocha's Seleni powers by mistake. Both females understood completely.

Nicholas then went back to the library now that he knew who had really been working there. The second the fosky stepped in, the male instantly felt the bitch Chandra had been there, or rather Seleni energy as he had never met or sensed her until now. With all the accounts from the others and the signs, there was no doubt the head Seleni bitch scum had indeed been at this building. The five members of the Eternal Halo order instantly not only used the ruins and their powers to cleanse and purify the building, but also to set up protection and ways to repel the head bitch when the time came for Chandra to return. They knew this because the lying manipulating Seleni had given a false reason why she had left the city for now. But the Seleni wouldn't return for the rest of the year, and neither did any of the other Seleni, Nephilim, or members of the Eternal Halo run into the other. Even the rouge Seleni wasn't encountered, but the place she'd been at was cleansed and looked into. But nothing was found there either. The confrontation wasn't going to happen until next year but everyone who was helping Mocha was on alert just to be safe, including the feline too. As for finding more on the volumes of the book from the Eternal Halo archives, that was going to also take longer. Just like with finding out where Ama was and finding out more information on Mocha's family name, including how all of Mocha's mother's stuff was connected to this and finding out where Cochoa was. Even the painting studio didn't have any information as well that Mocha had been left with from Ama. But in the end those things would be figured out.
