Project wolfsoul
after a few months in hospital I was back on my feet again. Me and John. We were going to get jobs and lead normal lives. Share a flat, get laid... Easy. First we needed jobs.
"so have you phoned the number on the business card?" John always asked the important questions and then followed up with a brilliant idea "we could ask them for a job." there we go. Brilliant idea! I pulled out my mobile and dialled the number.
A female's voice filled my ear "hello, you have reached the lowulsof industries helpline. How may we help you?" I was confused. But... was it a cruel trick?
I held my mouth to the phone "project wolfsoul?" there was a beeping noise and when it stopped the female's voice was replaced with that of the male scientists.
"i knew you would call us"
"what happened? Was it all a dream?"
the scientist laughed as I questioned him. "I'm sorry I can't tell you. It would take too long and you probably won't understand anyway. So you want to go back?"
"Yes please. I want to go back. I want to see them again"
"okay. But this time you have to pay"
"but we don't have any money"
"I'm sure we'll find a job for you"
"thank you!" I cried
"come to this location tonight at midnight." I wrote the address down as the scientist told me it on a sheet of paper I had in my pocket.
At ten to twelve me and John arrived at the address. It was an old copper smelting plant. We walked over to the office to see if there was anyone who could let us in. "hello?"
a male in his twenties opened the window "do you have the code?" shit! they hadn't said anything about a code!
"project wolfsoul?" the window closed as the door opened. We walked on into the plant and where greeted by the two scientists
"good evening. Last time we spoke we were under the impression that you don't have the money... that could be a problem... we have to keep this company going... and keep unwanted attraction away from us"
I felt uncomfortable. I looked at John he had the same look on his face. "oh don't worry they are safe jobs"
"out of curiosity what kind of jobs are there?" John asked
"lowulsof runs many projects. One being healthcare. The other is products for relaxation after a stressful day"
"so you want us to test drugs?" the scientist shook his head. "No that would be dangerous. And here at lowulsof we believe any accident is a stupid one"
I was starting to get impatient. "what are the jobs?"
"drug transportation and I don't think you'd be interested In the other job"
"the relaxation one?"
"giving people massages"
"drug transportation, it is then" I felt two guards grab me and I saw two get John. A syringe was inserted into my arm an I felt my eyes drop and soon I collapsed on top of John.
A Day or so later I woke up and looked around the room I was in. why is everything so small? I looked at a wolf who was standing in the corner
"dude you're awake!" that wolf sounds like John... I looked at the water bowl that had been left in the cell and smiled as I saw a furry face reflecting back at me... I am Caesar again.
