Silver Nights - Chapter 8

-=Dancing In The Thunder=-

The morning sun warmed the Storm Covenant fort's courtyard, where the sergeants were starting the training for the freshly recruited men. The day was cloudy, but lacked the signs of possible rain. Then again, being a half-dragon, Gelorah could sense if it would rain or not. Tomorrow, it would. He looked outside the window and leaned outside a little. No longer could he wash up at the well, considering the fort was so occupied these days. Or he could, no one would probably dare say to him not to, with the exception of Venzyriel. But then again, he was shy inside, when it came to such things. Which was funny to him, when he thought about it. He kind of missed the time when it was just him and Venzyriel. Then again, he did not miss those days at the same time. Surely, his life was more 'complex' now, with all the people added under Venzyriel's banner. That brought him a lot of responsibility, considering he was the general of the troops, so he was charged with their well-being, motivation, discipline as well as planning their strategies to use in the field. Luckily, Cael who was an expert tactician helped on that matter, so mostly Gelorah was the leader in the heat of battle. Not to mention he alone could do things that regular footmen could not, which aroused a positive effect on the troops morale. As for Mormick, he was invaluable asset as a quartermaster. He was very good at it, he knew what they needed more and what they had plenty off, as well as keeping a track on the condition of it all. So basically, Gelorah didn't really have that much to think about. Not that he could think now, his mind was focused elsewhere. His gaze was fixed on the lovely blackish dragoness-demoness walking towards the workshop. Algra seemed to be up early. Gelorah was also up early for a reason. He had promised to let Algra make some little repairs to his sword, Queen's Tear. Truthfully, at the moment, he couldn't care less about his sword, as much as he valued it. He eagerly strapped the sword on his belt and went downstairs and nearly ran to the workshop. As he reached the workshop, ignoring the salutes by the footmen, he saw Algra lit the furnace on fire. With her hand, nonetheless. Her hand resting comfortably in the flames seemed a bit unnatural, but Gelorah thought he perhaps wasn't the best one to say that, considering his affinity with lightning. He took his time gathering a bit of courage to step up and say something. To him, this not only seemed odd, it also seemed ridiculous. Pathetic. He was like a little boy, scared to go talk to a girl. He couldn't help it. Even the hostile-looking spikes on Algra's shoulders, 'forehead' and legs seemed so... appealing. After a while, he snapped out of it, realizing his gaze was on her rump. He coughed loudly and stepped in. A faint blush on his cheeks gave away he was feeling more or less awkward at the moment. Algra turned around with a rather pleased smile on her face. Just who she had wanted to see!

  • "Lookie here, if it isn't Gelorah. "

Something in the way she was speaking made Gelorah blush a bit more. Her voice was angelic, which was pretty ironic way to describe it.

  • "Uh, yes. I brought the Queen's Tear. "

Algra's eyes started shining as she hastily took the sword from Gelorah's belt. Her voice had changed to nearly girlish.

  • "Wonderful! I'll be extra-gentle with this one... It'll be like a new one once I'm done! "

Algra huffed happily and started examining the smallish cuts and dull spots on the blades. Gelorah couldn't believe it; He was a bit jealous for the sword having Algra's attention. Before long, Algra started working on the blade. She didn't say a word, she just focused. Gelorah thought it was best he left, but amazingly, Algra had kept an eye on him secretly.

  • "Don't you go nowhere. I was hoping we could talk. It's nice to talk to someone while working, don't you think? "

Gelorah stopped on his tracks and after standing there for a while, he slowly sat down on a barrel.

  • "But of course. Helps time pass by. Ummmm, what do you want to discuss? "

Algra chuckled as she pound the glowing blade placed in the anvil.

  • "Tell me about you. Excuse my curiosity, but you are interesting! I don't know much, save for the things Cael told me. "

Gelorah blushed a bit. 'Interesting?' Then he thought about the things Cael could have told, possible exaggerations and whatnot. He carefully lift his eyebrow.

  • "What did he tell you? "

Algra laughed.

  • "Things. "

Gelorah blushed. What things?!

Algra laughed in a more playful manner, her eyes giving a rather odd look.

  • "Just teasing you. He told nothing sensitive. 'Xept that you are a lousy drinker. Shame. I'm pretty... good on that front. "

Algra let a clear laughter out after she finished her sentence. Gelorah blushed a bit. That was a slightly sensitive subject for him, considering he was the head of the troops, and yet he was easily out-drunk by nearly anyone. Then again, Venzyriel didn't much approve of drinking, so he did it very, very rarely. Algra lift the Queen's Tear up, checking how well she was doing with the sword so far.

  • "But really, tell me the story behind you. "

Gelorah sighed and switched his stance slightly.

  • "Hmmh, very well. I don't remember too much about my childhood... "

Gelorah briefed Algra the best he could, as vague as the details were. He had only faint memories of his childhood before Venzyriel adopted him as her disciple. Algra stopped her work once she heard about the death of Gelorah's birth mother. Such a terrible way to lose a mother.

  • "I'm so sorry to hear that. "

Gelorah sighed and looked away. His gaze returned back to Algra and he smiled very faintly.

  • "It's alright. I've gotten over it long ago. "

Algra had a curious look on her.

  • "You aren't afraid of fire, are you? Considering how... well... "

Gelorah had a slightly confused look on him.

  • "Hmm? No, not at all. I suppose it should have left a mark on me, but it never did. Why ask? "

Algra just smiled.

  • "Just curious. Please, by all means, continue. "

And so Gelorah did, explaining his youth, transformation and any other point of interest in his life. Algra noted how he praised Venzyriel, it was clear she was Gelorah's mother-substitute. Kind of brought back how Algra felt towards Merei. As Gelorah moved on, Algra noticed how Cael was right about Gelorah's nature. He did speak like a little boy in some parts! Slightly naive, so... enthusiastic about everything he had done. Cute! Gelorah eventually stopped after explaining thoroughly the last, if not smallish, battle between the Storm Covenant and the Earthym Order. He spared no details.

  • "... And finally, after two more strikes of thunder on their commanding officers tent, they finally surrendered... most young men we could recruit to our own cause. And after that, well, we returned back to the fort, and well, here we are. Waiting. "

Algra realized she had actually stopped working for who knows how long when she was listening to Gelorah. She didn't mind, though, she found him interesting. To say at least. She started sharpening the two blades of the sword, which was time consuming since it was made from twilight steel, and then looked over at Gelorah.

  • "You have a colorful history. Thanks for feeding my curiosity. "

  • "My pleasure... I wonder... could you shed some light on you? Venzyriel didn't tell much about you when she decided that we should try to get you join our, and your own, cause. "

Algra huffed in approval, and began her own story about her past. Again, she made it clear how much she loved her father, and Merei. Gelorah had a very sympathetic side in him, and the story really brought it up; he felt awful hearing all of it. And he also felt a little odd when she told just how many men she had seduced over the time. Was this envy, jealousy? Whatever it was, it felt bad, and overall he was having a hard time figuring what was going on inside his head right now. Once Algra finished, she had a little distant look on her. Suddenly, she had a faint smile on her again.

  • "It... feels good to tell this. Somehow, especially good to tell you. Thank you. "

Gelorah wasn't sure what to answer, but he did give an answer, anyway.

  • "Uh, no need to thank me. I... "

Algra took into her notice that Gelorah was trying to say something, so she did something she did best: tease.

  • "Hmmm? Something on your mind? "

A lot of things, Gelorah knew, but he best not say any of them. Instead he focused on the Queen's Tear to break the awkward situation.

  • "How's the sword? "

Algra had a slightly surprised look, that was replaced with a joyful smile as she handed the sword back to Gelorah.

  • "It's all done. Like freshly forged! "

Algra handed the sword over with a pleased smile. Gelorah took it and swung it in the air a couple of times. He pointed it towards the sun. The blades were shining thoroughly. There was not a single cut, mark or any other flaw left on it. It was perfected to it's original condition it had been so many years ago.

  • "It's magnificent. You're one hell of a smith. "

Algra laughed.

  • "Hell of a smith. Ironic you said it that way. "

Gelorah looked at Algra, confused. Then he realized the irony, and he blushed a little. Algra just chuckled.

  • "Hah, worry not, I am not offended if you put it like that. It was a nice compliment. "

Gelorah gave a light smile, and walked a bit closer to Algra, sheathing his sword in the meantime.

  • "Thank you. It's really perfect. "

Algra leaned against a barrel, her hands wrapping under her chest. Gelorah didn't have a chance of not noticing how she pushed her breasts up a bit by doing so, easily seen even under that thick, brown, dirty apron she had on. Gelorah slowly looked up again. Algra had a very, very mysterious smile on her. Her eyes were fixed on Gelorah. Algra's forked tongue came out for a split-second.

  • "You owe me one for this, you know. "

Gelorah had hard time returning to the reality from his thoughts, or more precisely, from the depths of Algra's eyes. At first, he had thought of them as rather intimidating ones. Now, they just seemed to be staring at him, right into him. The word he was looking for to describe them, he finally found: Seductive.

  • "Uh, yes. I think I owe you one. I'll be sure to return the favor. "

Algra didn't reply at all, she just kept staring at him. Two words emerged from her mouth, words that nearly made Gelorah shake.

  • "Come closer. "

It was rather hard to disobey, but his legs felt like jelly. But he did manage to walk right next Algra, face to face. Algra looked down a bit, running her index finger down Gelorah's chest. So very nicely built, he was, easily felt under his blue tunic shirt. She certainly wanted to see him in a bit less... clothing. Truthfully, she wanted to know him better, but her demonic side was on control now. And it only wanted one thing. She whispered to Gelorah's ear with a cooing voice:

  • "I think we need to get to know each other a bit better...? "

When she ran her tongue to Gelorah's ear, he could barely breathe anymore. But at that given second, Mormick rushed in, being loud as he usually was.

  • "Well well well! Where's our new wonderful smith n- "

Mormick saw the situation, and just let a loud : "Oooh. "

Gelorah hastily stepped back a little, Algra just smiled. She had an amused, if not slightly disappointed expression at the same time. Gelorah wasn't smiling one bit, instead he had an awkward look upon him.

  • "Oh, we were just... "

Algra chuckled.

  • "Talking. Just talking. "

  • "That's right! Just... uhm, talking. And uh, she fixed my sword. She's very... able. "

Mormick had the oddest of grins. He let out his trademark laughter: Loud, happy and spontaneous.

  • "I see!! Well! If you excuse me now, Gelorah, I need to talk to... Algra, your name was, right? "

Algra nodded.

  • "What am exotic name! But yes. I am here to discuss about the things we need forged. From what I hear, you are an expert! "

Algra felt flattered.

  • "I learned from the master, after all. "

Mormick smiled and pulled out a little parchment that had a list of equipment that needed fixing or replacement. Gelorah turned around and decided he was merely interrupting right now. Algra, however, shouted to him before he left.

  • "Later, Gelorah! "

Gelorah waved back.

  • "Later, Algra. "

His mind was spinning. But he had no time to think as a Dragon Knight approached him. Like any of the other Dragon Knights, he was carrying a light-platemail armor, and his helmet that was strapped on his belt for now had a horsetail decoration in it.

  • "Mi'Lord. "

Gelorah took a more serious stance and his expression changed from thoughtful to determined.

  • "Yes? "

  • "Lady Venzyriel and Captain Cael wish to discuss battle plans with you today, so Cael instructed me to inform you they have a meeting with the other officers at Venzyriel's study after sundown. Also, she wanted Algra to join it as well. Is she at the forge? "

  • "Yes, she is. Thank you for informing me. "

The Dragon Knight bowed and walked to the forge. Gelorah continued walking back to the main hall, up the stairs and towards his room. Before he reached his room, he looked at the door next to his, right after Cael's room. Algra's room. He didn't know why he did it, but he opened the door, after making sure no one saw him, and entered. The room was much like his, except she had less furniture in it and her bed had red sheets. As briefly as she had lived here, there was already a very appealing scent left in the air. Her armor was scattered beside her bed, and her huge sword was leaning on the wall. He knew it was wrong to be in her room like this, but his mind was a little blurry. He couldn't help his curiosity at all. He grabbed the huge sword and lift it in the air. It was rather heavy, far more heavier than the Queen's Tear. He swung it in the air a couple of times. It was clear that anything hit by this beast of a sword would be fatally wounded, if not outright cleaved in half. He nearly dropped the sword when he heard a voice behind him.

  • "I really don't think you should be here. Come on, Gelorah. You should have more self-discipline than this. "

The voice was Cael's. Gelorah turned, putting the sword hastily back in it's place. Cael had a smirk on his lips. His eyes were covered with a headband as usual, making it hard to tell just where he was looking.

  • "I was just... curious, Cael. "

Cael leaned on the doorway and let out a very silent chuckle.

  • "I think the mighty Stormbringer has found the Black Butterfly to be very interesting, hmm? In a less subtle way than usual? "

Cael was now grinning, Gelorah blushing a bit, taking a bit more posh stance.

  • "This just... I mean, she is... special. "

Cael switched his weight from one leg to another. Gelorah's tail was moving slightly from left to right, as if to show his tenseness.

  • "Hah. Special, eh? Truly. I would say your interest in her is not entirely professional! The way you fought her... not because you nearly got your sorry hide handed to you, but... there was passion in that fight I have never seen in you before. "

Gelorah moved towards Cael and just walked past him. As he did, though, Cael's expression changed to more serious, thinking.

  • "Just be warned, Gelorah. You do realize she is half-demon, right? The Black Butterfly? "

Gelorah didn't turn, he just stopped.

  • "Are you saying that is a bad thing? I can handle myself. She can handle herself. "

Cael sighed, rubbing his forehead a bit.

  • "That is not what I meant. What I mean is that... she has a reputation of a 'maneater'. You know that. It's very natural she finds you intriguing. I only wish to say that look before you leap. I am not saying she is not genuinely interested in you, bu- "

Gelorah grunted and just walked away to his room. Questioning his feelings, blurry or not, felt enraging. He walked to his window and looked outside. The sound of the smith's hammer striking the metal echoed in the courtyard again. Cael was right, Gelorah knew that. Algra had a reputation of sleeping with so many men it was nearly historical. But he couldn't help what he felt. It was so new, intoxicating. He let a deep sigh out and just stared at the sky for a while. Cael walked to him and placed his hand on his shoulder.

  • "Forget I said that. I think you two fit together, to be honest. "

Gelorah did not answer. He let a quiet, thoughtful huff.

After being interrupted by the Dragon Knight who told Algra that she was invited to a meeting of sorts at Venzyriel's study after sundown, Algra took a look on the list Mormick had handed to her. The Dragon Knight hastily took his leave, not saying a word. Perhaps he was a bit ashamed to be beaten so easily by Algra yesterday, or by a woman to begin with. The list on Algra's hand was nicely organized and clear, listing things they wanted her to do, so it was easy to keep track on what was already done and what was left to be done. Most of the tasks were simple, anyway. Mormick seemed to be a nice fellow, as well. Mormick was taking his leave as well to let Algra work in peace.

  • "Well, I'll leave you at peace now. There is much to do, after all. "

  • "Aye. Hmm, tell me. You don't seem to be any nervous talking to me... most men find it rather hard to approach me at first. "

Mormick laughed yet again.

  • "Well! Hah! I suppose I am used to something like yourself, Gelorah being what he is. And then again, I've served dear Venzyriel for many, many years. Truthfully, I cannot even imagine the look on my face when I first realized Venzyriel is a dragon! Ha! Must have been amusing to look at! "

Algra smiled, that made sense. Not everyday does a regular old veteran have a dragoness that looks after them.

  • "Forget I asked it, I'll see you later, then. "

  • "Yup! You'll get bored of seeing my old hide by the end of the week, let me assure you. "

Algra just chuckled.

  • "I doubt that. "

Mormick didn't laugh this time, but his smile told it wasn't far off. He left the workshop, whistling as he did. Algra didn't recognize the tune, but it was rather cheerful. Algra sighed and looked at the list briefly, then she sat on a barrel for a moment. She wasn't sure if it was appropriate to be so... truculent towards Gelorah. It seemed to be he had never really had any experiences with women before. Algra supposed it was mostly because of his nature, being a half-dragon. Not to mention Algra knew she was being rather straightforward. Algra did kind of find his boyish nature cute appealing. He certainly was... pure. And this was the first time in about a year she had felt anything towards a male . And that was not just her demonic heritage lusting over flesh as usual. Though there certainly was a lot of that involved, it was something she simply couldn't help. Oh, the thoughts made her tongue play inside her mouth. She knew it. She could not slow things down once she was in the mood. Once given the perfect chance, she would take it, be it too fast approach or not. Even still, she felt more than just her usual, carnal desires. Breaking back into reality, she realized she had a lot of forging to do. And forging was a good way to clear her mind from such thoughts. Where to start? Ah, yes! Swords! Her favorite!

The sun had just set, the last rays of light disappearing behind the woods, leaving darkness behind that was only broken by a few torches outside the fort & by the light coming from the many windows, casting their light in the darkness. Everyone had gathered around a large, thick wooden table at Venzyriel's study. The whole hall was very bright from the rows of torches burning in the walls & one chandelier hanging from the ceiling. The table had a huge map of the land of Earthym scrolled onto it. There were the rest of the Storm Covenant's higher-ranked officers Algra didn't know, Cael, Gelorah and Venzyriel herself, remarkably in a bipedal form. She looked rather astonishing, very elegant in her silky dress. She had no wings, though it was rather obvious she could have left them be, but since she used her bipedal form mainly to reduce her size, the wings would just be on the way. Venzyriel began to speak. Her voice was very feminine, but clear & loud.

  • "The reason for this meeting is to determine where we will move, or strike in the coming week. I feel it is time to start more direct action. Earthym Order has grown enough, and eventually they WILL take action against us once they realize just how formidable my covenant is. They will strike with a force unmatched, so we need to hinder them first. And grow stronger ourselves. "

That brought some silent whispers between everyone at the table. Venzyriel looked at Cael.

  • "Cael Marthym. I trust in your tactical awareness. Have you planned what we should do first like I asked you? "

Cael looked at the map, thinking. Most cities and towns he had visited. He remembered the walls, barracks, general status of the defenses. It could be that some of them had changed a bit during the years, but he had an overall idea on each towns & cities strengths. And weaknesses. This particular town with a fort in it would be a good place to have under Venzyreil's banner. Cael pointed at the map. It was the town of Isgarla, south from Ishimur, Mormick's hometown. Ishimur was already loyal to Venzyriel, had been for many years.

  • "Isgarla, Cael? " One of the officers asked.

  • "Indeed, Garat. See? " Cael pointed out the main roads, drawing where they went with his finger.

  • "It is the only remarkably big town near us that isn't loyal to Lady Venzyriel yet, and it connects the main roads to Southern Earthym and to Western Earthym. Up north, we have Ishimur, and our own fort. If we can claim control of Isgarla, we gain control over most of the trading routes to the south and to the west. That gives us a perfect chance to move further into south, to the town, or should I say city these days, Lavathia. That is the ONLY real road to the Southern Earthym. Any other path is blocked with mountains, cliffs, marshes and lakes. "

Frankly, proposing that they would need to attack his own hometown that he had once protected made Cael feel a bit awkward. But personal feelings should not interfere. He just hoped they could take over the town without a bloodshed. Which would be highly unlikely... Captain Logh would defend it to the last man.

Cael's proposition brought a lot of discussion on the table, mostly between the officers. Venzyriel huffed with a pleased smile.

  • "And that way, we can slowly then move towards West, correct? "

Cael nodded. One of the officers asked:

  • "West, Mi'Lady? We are not moving deeper into the South? "

Cael drew a circle in the air around the map where Southern Earthym was.

  • "Because, Wigor, Southern Earthym is corrupt and unstable. The only thing we need from there is their iron, for the time being. And that they sell to anyone who is buying. And if we get into control of the trade routes, that leaves only us offering the gold. "

The officers nodded in agreement. Southern Earthym WAS very unstable, and the local Earthym troops down there were corrupt, so it would be highly unlikely that a major retaliation was to be expected from that area. If any at all.

Cael cleared his throat.

  • "Now, Western Earthym, that we need. It might be ravaged with large marauder and bandit groups, with the only organized "army" being the Black Viper Mercenaries, but it has a lot of natural resources beneath the barren earth. Like gold. And most importantly, one twilight ore mine. And it also has a very important port in the city of Hawran that would give us access to dwarven merchants goods more regularly. We will pay more gold, and I think they might be overjoyed to trade with us more than with the Earthym Order, since we wont force them to pay "taxes" for non-human trading. Or have "customs" where we confiscate their goods. "

Everyone was in agreement this was the best plan at the moment. Planning too far ahead would be unwise, as unexpected things could, and would happen. Venzyriel couldn't help but think of Asgarh when she looked at the map. How was he? Was he even still alive at all? Cael had told her that they had not slayed Asgarh when he still was on charge of the Earthym Dragon Slayers, so Venzyriel actually hoped she would see Asgarh again one day. Algra had something to say, here. She cleared her throat first and leaned over the map to gain attention.

  • "May I remind you of the Black Viper Mercenaries? I am not sure who is the "head", or "heads" of the organization, but things could get complicated if we march in and claim lands under our banner. They thrive by the contracts provided by the unstable land, and if we were to bring balance and safety, we would be barging into their business. "

This brought another discussion between the officers. Garat, one of the officers, Captain in rank, nodded and rubbed his chin.

  • "True... true. Maybe we could hire the lot of them? Most of the mercenaries are fighting for gold, solely. Give them that, they would be happily taking our side, I bet. Only thing left opposing us would be the heads of the organization, but if we have removed their pawns, they are mighty powerless. "

One of the officers had to ask:

  • "Perhaps, but do we have the gold to do this? War is expensive in itself, not to mention hiring more mercenaries... "

Venzyriel had a content face.

  • "Fear not, Stomwel. We will claim more gold as we march forward. And believe me... I have enough fortune to make King Earthym shiver. "

Gelorah couldn't help but feel a bit sorry for Venzyriel.

  • "But that is your collection, Mi'Lady. Are you ready to give it away? "

Venzyriel smiled.

  • "My artifacts and trophies are all that really matters to me. Gold is expendable. And if... no, WHEN we overthrow the Earthym Order, we do not have to worry about gold anymore, as the lands will be under our banner. "

Cael couldn't help noticing Venzyriel had previously said "her" covenant, and now it was "our" banner. Then again, he did not question her desire to do good, but at the same time, he was still slightly uncertain about her ultimate motives. But perhaps she was just thinking & acting as she saw best for this land, her home. Gelorah smacked his palm on the table.

  • "Then it is settled. We will move to Isgarla and claim it. However, I'd appreciate if you had any plans of attack, Cael. "

Cael nodded and leaned over the map.

  • "Isgarla... it sits on top of a hill, mostly. The town is not very hard to take over, since the outskirts have no walls at all. However, the fort that sits on top of the hill could prove very difficult. Only one way up, easily defended by archers, not to mention the drawbridge that connects the fort to the road leading up the hill. The hill isn't so steep it could not be climbed, but the fort has walls all around so infantry would stop at that point, ultimately... "

Garat continued Cael's sentence:

  • "And climbing while dodging arrows is unhealthy, I might add. This fort would be ideal for us to house some of our troops in, but first we need to claim it. And I fear we need to attack through the drawbridge, and I doubt they will lower it for us. We have to get it lowered first. "

Gelorah huffed.

  • "I highly doubt the fort was designed to be defended against flying threats... "

Gelorah simply flapped his wings as a gesture to point out what he meant.

  • "I will fly there and lower the drawbridge myself. "

Venzyriel had a thoughtful look upon her.

  • "Yes, that will spare us a lot of men. And you are not going alone... Algra will be joining you. "

Gelorah had a rather surprised face, but that was perhaps mostly because he was used to being the "powerhouse" of the Storm Covenant. He looked at Algra, who was looking at the map, or at least it seemed like that, if not her eyes were fixed on Gelorah every now and then.

  • "Yes, I believe that would be... ideal. "

Algra shifted the weight on her legs, leaning on her left one. She was actually excited to see Gelorah in real combat. After all, something in battles made her tick, as well.

Cael broke the staring competition by coughing loudly.

  • "Alright, we need to prepare the troops for the march. It will be a rather long trip, as we will march all the way down to Lavathia, eventually. Most of our forces will be joining the battle. We need to hit hard. And fast, So only a handful of men will remain at the fort, Lady Venzyriel. "

Venzyriel saw the plans were solid and needed to be set in motion.

  • "Good. Do as we planned. You will embark in three days, so you have time to prepare properly. I will stay at the fort. Gelorah, you know how to contact me should the troops need something. I will do my best to assist you indirectly when needed. "

Gelorah nodded.

  • "Understood, Mi'Lady. "

His expression changed to somewhat worried. He stroked his hair a bit.

  • "I just hope you are safe without me and most of the tro- "

  • "Gelorah. I am a dragon. I can defend myself and everyone else if the need arises. "

Gelorah still felt bad about the mere thought of leaving Venzyriel alone. He wasn't used to the idea. And he admit it to himself, it was rather funny in itself to worry about her so much, considering she was more powerful than he was. But he couldn't help it. He did, after all, think Venzyriel as if she was his mother.

  • "I know, Mi'Lady. I apologize. "

Venzyriel just smiled kindly.

  • "I appreciate you caring for my well-being, my disciple. But now is not the time to hesitate. But to act. Prepare yourselves. Three days. It is time for war... Dismissed, everyone. Except you, Algra. I wish to speak to you. "

Everyone leaned back and saluted, save for Algra, who did not follow the others and was the only one still leaning on the table. Everyone else turned around and walked away to prepare for the long, but most probably not the longest trip they would make in three days. Gelorah peeked back before he closed the door. He was curious. Venzyriel transformed back to her real form and laid down near her treasury's door. Algra coughed in an attempt to catch Venzyriel's attention.

  • "You wanted to talk about something, Mi'Lady? "

  • "Ah yes... Indeed. "

She shifted the weight to her other side.

  • "This would be about you and... my disciple. "

Algra's eyes grew a bit wider, a faint blush on her cheek appeared.

  • "Yes...? What of us? "

Venzyriel was looking at her bookshelves, then she fixed her stare back at Algra.

  • "I've noticed you two seem to enjoy each others company, as briefly as you've known. I know everything that takes place in this fort, and I've seen the way you look at him. And the way he looks at you. "

Algra stopped leaning against the table and took a straight stance.

  • "I... find him attractive, yes, I admit. But if you have a problem about me being near him, Mi'Lady, I understand... "

Venzyriel merely chuckled.

  • "Not at all, I do not mind, I think. In fact... You two would make a nice couple, I daresay. "

Venzyriel rose up and walked towards Algra.

  • "However. Do not take this as an insult, my dear, but I know of your reputation. "

Algra watched as the elegantly intimidating figure approached her.

  • "Uh, none taken. I am aware of my reputation. I wish... it was not so as it is. "

Venzyriel leaned her head to the same level as Algra's.

  • "I wont come between you two, it is not my place to decide what two individuals do with each other. However... I much consider myself as Gelorah's mother... so... should you only use him to satisfy that demonic lust of yours and then discard him when you are done with him... well... I would highly... "

Venzyriel's voice changed to growling, not feminine at all, the sound coming deep from her throat. The voice of a dragon.

  • "Disfavor it. "

Algra was speechless, both by what Venzyriel had said, and by the extremely intimidating figure Venzyriel had right now. Venzyriel's eyes were lacking that friendly glow, replaced with this demanding, overpowering gaze that went right into one's soul. Algra's blush grew from both confusion and slight embarrassment, considering the subject and how it was brought up.

  • "I... Mi'La- "

Venzyriel pulled her head away, now looking a bit sorry. Her friendly gaze was back again.

  • "I apologize. These kind of... motherly feelings are rather new to me. I... went too far. "

Algra swallowed. She thought about it. Did Gelorah seem like someone she would be happy with? Her loins ached whenever she thought about him... but it was also different. He felt so much different in all the good ways possible. Only once before did she feel like this, when she had met Mereth. But the feeling was a lot stronger this time, not to mention she had never been herself around Mereth. But with Gelorah, she could be herself. And she could not cast aside the fact how much she loved his looks. It was worth it, she decided in silence.

  • "Mi'Lady... "

Venzyriel huffed.

  • "Let's not discuss this matter further... I wish I had not brought it up at all. I am sorry. "

  • "It's alright, Mi'Lady. Only natural. "

Venzyriel laid down next to her treasury doors again.

  • "Go get rest. I wish not to hold you no longer. "

Algra kneed down and walked towards the doors.

  • "Good night, Mi'Lady. "

  • "The same to you. "

  • "Hold on just a moment, dear. "

Algra turned back. Venzyriel pointed her finger as a signal for Algra to wait. Venzyriel waved her right claw at the door leading to her treasury, making it magically open without any physical contact. Venzyriel went inside, Algra slightly trying to peek in, but it was too dark to see anything. Venzyriel came back rather quickly, closing the door behind her with her tail. She had a few ornaments with her, carrying them on her right claw. She walked to Algra and straightened her claw to Algra. The golden ornaments glittered in the torchlight. Golden rings, too big to fit one's finger. And one pair of earrings with a pointy ruby in both of them. And lastly, a pair of wildly, beautifully curved golden ornaments that had a string attached to them.

  • "I want you to have these. As a symbol of friendship. "

Algra looked at the ornaments. They were simple, perhaps, but beautiful. Flawless.

  • "I can't... Mi'Lady. They must be precious to you. "

  • "Indeed they are. They belonged to a warrior, long forgotten was her name. She was a dragonkin, slain during the War of Earthym. These are very, very precious, and that is exactly why I want you to have them. "

Algra had that look in her showing she did not understand.

  • "My dear... only these kind of gifts are truly worth giving. Ones that mean a lot to oneself. I know you will take care good of them. "

Algra looked at the ornaments once again, then took them with both of her hands. Venzyriel had a rather cooing, even childish look about her, which was surprising.

  • "Try them on. The rings will fit your horns and... hm, spikes nicely, I dare say. "

Algra smoothly slipped the rings in place, removed her older, non-remarkable earrings and replaced them with the new ones. The ornaments that had a string on them she tied on her lower, curved horns. Venzyriel stepped back to take a good look. She smiled very kindly, nearly excited.

  • "You look charming. They fit you! Take a look yourself! "

Algra stepped towards the mirror Venzyriel had in her study. She nearly gasped when she saw herself. She couldn't deny it. They looked good on her.

  • "Mi'Lady! They... are beautiful. "

Venzyriel smiled, even left out a little chuckle. For a moment, she felt like just any woman giving compliments for the others charming looks.

  • "I am very glad you like them. But... I should bother you no longer. Go, get rest. "

Algra turned around, walked to Venzyriel and kneed down.

  • "Thank you, Mi'Lady. "

Venzyriel nodded with a friendly face and watched as Algra stepped back and moved towards the doors, disappearing through them, the doors slamming shut behind her. Venzyriel laid down next to her treasury door again. She was thinking. Algra seemed like a nice person... it was wrong of her to judge Algra so suddenly by Algra's history. Such sudden judgment was not her style. She sighed. These were troubling times, and it made her more nervous and touchy than usual. Things were about to be set in motion shortly. Important things. Things that would be written in Earthym history books one day. The mere thought made her feel uncertain within, as content as she seemed to be from the outside. Would the history be about a covenant that fought the oppression, casting it down? Or about how Earthym Order crushed it's opposition, continuing it's reign? And to think she was sending her own disciple to war. She couldn't help but feel nervous. Gelorah was strong, though. It brought her comfort. Gelorah would not fall. Whatever would happen, Venzyriel really hoped this oncoming war would not last very long and as few lives as possible would be lost.

Algra stepped out from the inner sanctum with mixed feelings. She nearly jumped as the heavy doors slammed shut behind her. Gelorah was leaning on the wall next to the doors. He also had mixed feelings, hearing all of the conversation between Venzyriel & Algra. He wasn't one to eavesdrop on others conversations, but with Algra, he was doing things he normally did not. The harder he resisted not thinking about her, the more overwhelming it became. So it forced him to act. He noticed the ornaments Venzyriel had apparently given to Algra. He couldn't deny it; Algra looked lovely with them. He coughed, resulting in Algra hastily turning with a very surprised look on her face.

  • "Gelorah! I didn't see you there. "

Gelorah didn't move, instead he pulled his head down a bit.

  • "I apologize. You did not deserve such a lecture. She's usually not like that. "

Algra blushed a bit.

  • "You... heard it all? "

Gelorah nodded. He was unsure what to say. Something in him gave him courage, though. He pulled his head up a bit and smiled faintly.

  • "You said I'm attractive, hmmm? "

Algra blushed a bit more. She smiled faintly back, her tail flailing from one side to the another.

  • "I believe I did. "

Gelorah pulled his back from the wall and walked towards Algra. He had no idea where he gathered his courage to do so, his own blush growing with each step he took. His stomach was filled with butterflies, his head didn't quite get a single thought through. Except for one. This... urge burned his insides. The burning temptation inside him alone fueled him to keep walking towards Algra, overcoming his usual shyness. He stepped next to Algra, who was staring directly at his yellow eyes. Gelorah stood there for a few seconds, finally opening his mouth to ask:

  • "Did you mean it? "

Algra wasn't very sure what to answer. Usually, she was the one taking initiatives, but this whole thing had left her mind so blurry it was hard to think. But she reacted in a way that most suited her: Directly. Her tongue briefly licked Gelorah's snout. Her smile was gone, replaced with a more impassioned look. She retracted her tongue back, and opened her mouth just enough to let a few words slip through.

  • "Yes, I did me- "

She couldn't finish her sentence at all before Gelorah already grabbed her, pushing his snout firmly against hers, invading her mouth with his tongue. For a brief second or two, Algra didn't react, save for her eyes growing wide, glowing red in the torchlight. Finally, she joined Gelorah, grabbing him from his back, pulling him closer, trying to go deeper into his mouth with her own tongue while she entwined it firmly against Gelorah's tongue. The kiss of sorts was very sensual, leaving the two huffing when they gasped for air every now and then, only to continue even more passionately. Algra felt like she could explode. Gelorah wasn't far off from that feeling, either. Algra had never been much for kisses. Not until now. This kiss alone would already be enough for her to last a lifetime. It was so strong. But since she didn't have to be satisfied with just a kiss, she jumped, putting her legs behind Gelorah who grabbed Algra from the buttocks, lifting her neatly up. She was very heavy, but he could still lift her with relative ease. Finally, the kiss broke, leaving Algra stroking Gelorah's snout and brushing his hair. Gelorah pushed his face towards hers as close as it was possible. Gelorah tried to think of something to say, as hard as it was. He was panting, but not out of exhaustion. He opened his mouth slightly, whispering his words out.

  • "Those new ornaments suit you. You look beautiful. "

Algra whispered her answer, still brushing Gelorah's hair.

  • "Thanks... I look prettier without this dress, believe me. Want to see? "

Gelorah's eyes grew wide for a brief second, but he was far too deep in his own, wild, previously unattained lust that it pushed his shy side aside completely. He let out a very pleading voice:

  • "Yeeeesss. "

Algra chuckled. She could barely hold her own excitement.

  • "My room or your room? "

A more primal self was lifting it's head inside Gelorah. It was somewhat scary, but exciting. And he liked it very much.

  • "Whichever is closer! "

Gelorah carried Algra with the a determination he had never felt before towards the closest room; Algra's. He felt unstoppable. He wanted this female he was carrying. He simply wanted her. Nothing complex, nothing subtle. A few footmen saw the couple moving up the stairs and to the hallway where the their rooms were. Whispering to each other, the footmen silently followed the lovers. Gelorah reached Algra's door, kicking it nearly from it's hinges, rushing in, slamming the door shut behind him, neatly using his tail to do so. He threw himself & Algra with him to the bed. The bed made an awful sound as they landed on the mattress. The lustful cuddling began immediately and became more and more sensual as the clothes seemed to disappear one by one, being torn away, thrown aside with haste. It didn't take long for them both to lie in the bed naked, Algra on top. The cuddling ceased, both already panting a little, Gelorah truly, truly enjoying the view. He felt slightly embarrassed, he was really not used in seeing a woman naked. And now Algra was there, on top of him. Her ornaments glittered in competition with her quite reflective hide, or scales. His gaze went down from her face, first stuck on her breasts. He had no real experience in what were the perfect breasts, but right now he could have sworn these were the most perfect ones in the world. The black butterfly tattoo with the white markings on it looked even better when she had nothing to cover the rest. His gaze went down more, enjoying the sights of her athletic, strong body... but by the gods, was it well formed & curved! He was, oddly enough, scared, in a way, to look more below, but he did. Algra was in such a sitting stance on top of him that it didn't completely cover her slit that was slightly to be seen. He could feel how his erection grew. It was confusing, to be honest, he had never really had much of an erection before. But it felt right now. Algra chuckled as Gelorah feasted his eyes upon her. She did the same to Gelorah. His shoulders had the look of an able man, hands with well trained biceps and overall look that would bring shame to any other man. His chest in all its grayness was something to behold, truly. His abs were crafted with care, with years of training... and a number of battles. She would not be lying if she said she had never felt so aroused, so excited and ready before. Yet, she restrained herself. Even as she felt Gelorah's manhood pressing against her tail. She wanted him so badly. But she could find it in herself to still speak, thinking all that Venzyriel had just spoken to her not too long ago.

  • "Gelorah. "

Gelorah's gaze returned to Algra's face. Right now, she seemed flawless. Flawless in all it's concept.

  • "Algra. "

  • "I... don't want to rush faster than you wish. We don't... have to lie together. Not yet. "

To her, offering the chance to decline a night filled with lust was one of the hardest things she could possibly force herself to do. Her demonic, dragonic, and human parts within all screamed for the salvation Gelorah could offer to her loins. Gelorah looked a bit thoughtful for a second. He was uncertain. Very much so. This was so new, and while it felt right... it felt so... dangerous. Intimidating, evem. But the urge to go all the way right now won over him, easily in the end. His self-discipline was nothing to him right now. All the feelings he had restrained, kept inside him, never unleashed, were about to go unchained. Like a beast, never tamed, set free. He grabbed Algra, pulling her face closer. Her hair slightly tickled his chest as it landed on it.

  • "I want you. Now. "

That was enough for Algra.

  • "I want you too. Now and forever. "

  • "Forever? "

  • "Forever. "

They shared another kiss, entwining their tongues & tails slowly together. The tails seemed to compete which one could overpower the other, leaving them flailing a bit from one side to another. Once the kiss broke, Algra moved a bit further, gently chewing on Gelorah's right ear. Gelorah thought it felt rather nice, if not he took a deep breath and wavered a bit as he felt pain on his ear. Algra had bitten a very small hole in it. The pain was immediately replaced with the sound and feel of Algra suckling on it, letting out a few, quiet moans. Gelorah could feel Aglra's forked tongue dance slowly on the surface of his ear. He did not know why, but such act somehow made him feel even more randy. He stroked Algra's thigh and side as she continued to suckle on his ear. Algra let the small amount of Gelorah's blood dance in her mouth, savoring the taste, sucking more out as it came. The taste... was not entirely sweet. It wasn't exactly something that she usually tasted. Even more metallic than usual, with a mixture of sweetness covering all that stout taste of metal. But she knew for certain that it tasted good, and it turned her on more & more by the second. Eventually, the blood stopped flowing. She pulled her head back, staring at Gelorah who was panting wildly. She slid her tongue out, and rose her right hand. She did a very small cut with her index finger's talon to the point where the two tips of her tongue separated, resulting a very small amount of blood coming out. It was dark red. Gelorah was slightly unsure what to think of that, but he didn't have to think about it long as Algra forced her tongue in his mouth. She merely wanted Gelorah to taste her blood. She knew it wasn't very... normal, but it was something her demonic drive wanted to do. Some sort of blood oath, of sorts. Blood oath for love. Gelorah tasted her blood on his tongue. The taste was quite metallic, but it was also mixed with some exotic flavors. Sweet & strong. Spicy, even. He liked the taste, though he wanted not to admit it even to himself. He could feel his pre-cum sliding down his manhood. And he could feel Algra's slit that was pushed against his body. It felt moist. Everything was set, but he was not sure if he should just take the initiative or... truthfully, he was a bit anxious, tense. He wasn't sure how to proceed. Algra, however, had no such problems. She could sense the tenseness on Gelorah. She knew it could feel odd at first... so new. And perhaps she made it even worse, being what she was. So she wanted Gelorah to feel as comfortable as she could. Hell, she had never decided this before, but she wanted to put his pleasure above her own. At least for this once! She smiled as she finally pulled her head back, sliding her tongue that was sucked clean of the blood back inside her mouth.

  • "So tense, you... relax. "

Frankly, she could not hold this any longer, so she pulled herself up to reposition herself a bit more properly. That being directly above Gelorah's manhood. She didn't even look at it, she had no doubts it was ready and most satisfactory. Gelorah's breathing became very irregular, the mere sight of Algra being on top of him like that, the faint candlelight reflecting from her every curve was a sight competing for the most wonderful sight he had ever seen in his life. Algra kept her eyes deeply fixed on Gelorah's, as she very slowly began sliding down. A tad sooner than she expected, her blossom made contact with the tip of Gelorah's manhood. Algra was positively surprised. She let the tip slide back and forth as she moved her body, her legs on both sides of Gelorah. She put her hands behind her head. She wanted him to see it all. Gelorah let gradual, soft moans as he felt his tip getting lubricated with Algra's sexual juices. Every single nudge he felt going against his tip felt unbearably good. His talons dug on the sheets and mattress under him, ripping it slightly. Algra pulled her head back slightly as she, at last, started sliding herself down. Very slowly. Gelorah's body tensed a bit, he grabbed the sheets with his hands even harder, nearly ripping them apart. He let out a much more louder moan as he felt how his shaft slowly slid inside Algra. It felt warm, soft, moist. And something unexplainable. Algra let a spontaneous moan out herself, the feeling was extraordinary! Gelorah was special in many ways! She couldn't quite figure how, but it felt much better than usual. There was a row bumps, or soft barbs of sorts in Gelorah's manhood, sliding against her wet slit, it felt so good. She closed her eyes and tried to savor every single moment. She could feel the pulsing shaft sliding deeper, the soft barbs underneath Gelorah's shaft sliding inside her just right. She didn't stop until she had it all inside. All in good time, as well, she couldn't house an inch more. She opened her eyes, pausing her motion for now, even as her loins screamed for her to keep going. She looked at Gelorah. His look was wonderful. He was enjoying this immensely, by the look of it. His expression nearly looked pained, but she knew better. Gelorah realized the motion had stopped, so he opened his eyes. The moon was casting a faint light inside from the window, glittering on Algra's right side while the candlelight illuminated the left side. He was utterly speechless. So was Algra. The two pairs of eyes were looking at each other. Different, apart, but united. Gelorah's body was mostly reflecting the moonlight, showing each bump in his muscles faintly. Had she never felt like this before? No. This was, without exaggerating, the most beautiful moment in her life. So she wanted to make the most of it, sliding herself up, just as slowly as she had came down. Reaching the feeling that Gelorah's tip was sliding against her vaginal lips again, she slid down again. A bit more faster this time. It had been so long since the last time, she felt like exploding already! Slowly, fueled by Gelorah's increasing moans, she increased the pace. The bed beneath them started making a squeak with the rhythm.

The two footmen outside the door could hear the gradual moans and the bed that was starting to sound more & more like it was going to break any second. They had amused looks on them, curious, eager to see. The two whispered while trying to look from the keyhole.

  • "They are really getting it on! "

  • "I know! One lucky bastard. "

  • "You like her, then? "

  • "Oh come on. Wouldn't you- "

Their conversation was broken as both had this awful feeling that they were being watched. Slowly turning around, it seemed their fears were well placed: Cael was standing behind them, his eyes unfolded. The two yellow irises that had pointy pupils had a faint glow in the dark. It looked very scary, even if you knew it was no beast lurking in the shadows. Cael looked at one of the footmen, slowly turning his gaze to the other in turn.

  • "You two. What are you doing? "

Both sharpened up and saluted with haste.

  • "Captain Cael! We were... patrolling and uh... "

  • "Heard some unusual noises!"

  • "Yeah, that, captain, sir! "

Cael looked at them one at the time. His gaze was freezing cold to look at.

  • "Do you take me for a fool? "

The footmen tried to figure a good way to get out of this situation in mutual desperation.

  • "No, captain, sir! "

  • "No, sir! Of course not, sir! "

Cael was about to burst into laughter, seeing their pale faces, but he held it inside him and kept his murderous look.

  • "Get lost and go patrol the rest of your shift outside. You are supposed to patrol, not take sneak-peaks at two who are trying to enjoy privacy! Go. NOW! "

The footmen saluted in lightning speed and removed themselves in orderly fashion: Nearly running.

Cael chuckled. Seriously, sometimes it felt this was no army at all he was a captain in. Well, it certainly wasn't an ordinary army to be honest. But he liked it this way. The atmosphere was more friendly. He walked away, leaving the couple in peace. No point going in his room... the sounds coming through the wall would keep him awake anyway. So, why not enjoy a little walk in the moonlight? He was about to go down the stairs, yet, something in him, something he just couldn't help, forced him to take a peak. He turned around and focused to look through the wall, as he was able to do that, thanks to his... "gift". Just a brief look. That's all. He lifted his eyebrow and pulled his gaze away. He certainly didn't watch for long. Kind of regret he did in the first place. A faint blush rushed on his cheeks as he walked away. Well... surely, they make a very, very lively, passionate and a healthy couple, no doubt about that! He decided to make his walk a bit longer than originally intended.

The pace had increased to the point Algra was forced in taking support from Gelorah, leaning forward so her elbows were neatly placed on him. She had a hold on his shoulder & head, she even slightly scratched his shoulder. A regular man would have been left bleeding by her sharp talons, but Gelorah was a bit more resilient than a regular man. Gelorah was showing improvisation skills as he had grabbed Algra's spikes on her thighs, neatly pulling her down harder with each hump. He could barely breathe anymore, constantly gasping for more air. He was just doing what his body was telling him to do, no thinking involved. His wings were in a bad position below him, it even hurt a bit, but he ignored it. Algra could sense Gelorah's rapidly approaching climax. It was a slight shame she could not reach her own, as close as it was but... for Gelorah's first time, she had not a single complaint. And she was enjoying herself beyond imagination. Gelorah perhaps had no sophisticated techniques or styles. And that was the best part of it: He was so natural, so powerful in that natural way. She let a low, long moan as she realized Gelorah's climax was imminent. It wasn't hard to miss it; Gelorah pulled her down very hard, thrusting himself inside her wet slit as deep as he could, repeating it by pulling himself up & down with his legs a couple of times. Nothing but a beast was left of him at this point, climax clouding the last remains of his thoughts. He let a moan at first, but it turned into a roar as his seed exploded inside Algra. Algra pulled Gelorah's head up between her breasts, hushing his roar a bit. She was so close! She moaned, nearly pleading for the salvation in her loins. Suddenly, she felt a jolt of electricity that traversed with lighting speed from her thigh-spikes and spread around all over her body. It wasn't a very strong shock, but she definitely felt it. It stimulated her clitoris and vaginal lips in a very surprising way. She let a louder moan immediately, pulling Gelorah even harder against her chest. Gelorah kept pumping himself, and his seed, inside Algra, who was now having a surprise climax of her life. It felt tenfold better than ever before. Gelorah thrust himself all the way one last time, pulling Algra down hard. She begged inside her mind for it to last, and apparently her moans sounded like begging as well, but alas, Gelorah's exhaustion and the end of his climax brought it to an end finally. Gelorah let go of her spikes, his hands collapsing on the torn sheets under them. He was panting, drops of sweat on his body; a reminder of his half-human heritage, glittering in the moonlight. Algra could feel his huffs against her breasts. She kept his head locked between her breasts for a while while she was trying to catch her breath herself. Gelorah's seed, unleashed for the first time, dripped on the sheets, accompanied by Algra's suddenly and violently erupted sexual juices as well. Even Algra considered Gelorah's amount of seed plentiful. She could hear him say, even if his voice was slightly blocked thanks to her breasts pressing against him:

  • "S-Sorry. I didn't hurt you, did I? "

Gelorah felt so embarrassed. His first time, it had been wonderful, then he ruined it for her by slipping spontaneously like that. How could he do that!? Algra pushed his head back, forcing it against the sheets. She leaned her own head down, collapsing on him, pressing her snout firmly against his. Her eyes were serious.

  • "I want you to do that every time we make love. "

Gelorah had a very confused look.

  • "W-what? Shock you? Bu- "

Algra didn't let him finish as she invaded his mouth with her tongue. Gelorah stroked her back with his hands, holding her firmly against him. He felt exhausted, but so... released. So languid, pleased, satisfied, happy. Algra shared this feeling with him, this afterglow-kiss being her first. It felt wonderful. Kissing had always felt so unpleasant to her. It was like invading in her deeper self that she wanted no one to "taint". Which was funny, considering she had enjoyed the males attention otherwise. But this kissing didn't feel like invading. It was very welcome. She slowly slipped her tongue back in her mouth & let a very pleased huff.

  • "Yes. Every time. "

For a while, Gelorah merely stared at Algra. She seemed so happy. He smiled back; he was happy as well. His panting had stopped, as was Algra's.

  • "Alright. If you want to. "

Algra chuckled and finally, slowly, pulled herself up, letting Gelorah's softened manhood slide away from her. She collapsed right back on him. They embraced each other for a long time, letting time pass by, before Gelorah finally asked:

  • "What's with that beautiful tattoo, by the way? You never told. "

Algra pulled herself up a bit and pointed at her left breast.

  • "This butterfly tattoo? "

  • "Yeah. "

Algra smiled and shook her head a bit.

  • "I don't really know... I was called the Black Butterfly because I "reminded" of the Earthym Black Butterfly, or Dread Buttefly... it's rather rare species... it drinks the blood of the fallen on the battlefield, but I've seen a few. So. I merely thought it would be a beautiful add on me. And it would fit my name. Like it? "

  • "I see... And yes, it is very nice. But why on the breast? "

Algra chuckled playfully and pulled his had against her left breast.

  • "So that you can lick it. "

And so he did without having to be told twice. He felt a slight stir on his manhood again. Algra kept pushing his head against her chest, enjoying each and every lick he did. Especially when he moved from the tattoo to suck on her nipple. His tongue danced all around her areola and nipple. Finally, she pushed his head away a bit so she could give him another brief kiss. As soon as the kiss ended, Algra asked:

  • "Want another ride? "

Gelorah huffed, grabbed her, pushing her aside, and in a split-second, he had rolled on top of her. Algra left a playful laughter, taking a hold on Gelorah's legs. The moans soon filled the hall behind the door again. The night, truly, was theirs.

The morning sun sneaked in from the window. Like an invader, it cast away the darkness that had inhabited the room before, making everything glow. The candles were all burnt to the end, the wax spread all around, forming random curves and shapes. The light revealed two figures lying soundly on the bed. The sheets were teared and in a mess. Algra was leaning on Gelorah's chest, sleeping with a smile left on her face. Gelorah had awoken on the first rays of light. He was used to wake up early, after all. He felt a bit sore, but never had he been so happy. He gently brushed Algra's white hair back, looking at her face. To him, there was no face prettier in the world. Some could consider her intimidating, but to him, Algra was the most kindest, purest being. It sounded so naive, but he felt that way right now. He watched her sleep in silence, falling back asleep himself. Cael made sure they were not to be bothered yet. They had time to prepare later, and they would leave the fort in two days, so time was plentiful anyway. The sunlight was soon, without warning, replaced with gloom as dark clouds gathered, blocking the sky behind them. Rain started dropping down. It became heavier in time, the clouds turning darker. The strike of thunder woke both up. They both looked at each other once their daze of suddenly waking up was lifted. Both had a smile on them, Algra taking a deep breath and licking Gelorah's chest. Even as the weather was pretty grim, the light from the thunder reflected Algra's curves in all their perfection. Algra pulled herself up, pressing her snout against Gelorah's once again.

  • "Gelorah. "

Gelorah smiled back, stroking Algra's cheek, ignoring the few spikes that were on her jaw.

  • "Algra. "

Neither had anything to say beyond that. They stared at each other until another flash of lightning & the following shriek of thunder broke the silence. Algra huffed in slight annoyance.

  • "Terrible weather. "

Gelorah chuckled.

  • "Lovely weather. I like thunderstorms. "

Algra chuckled back at him.

  • "I suppose that is normal. Heee, be glad there are no firestorms. Ever struck by lightning? "

Gelorah laughed.

  • "Yes. It doesn't hurt at all. In fact, it's very, very refreshing. I kind of pull lightning towards me when I want to. Getting struck by lightning, however, is something I wouldn't recommend for you to try. "

Algra huffed, drawing random curves on Gelorah's chest with her index finger.

  • "Indeed... the same goes for you touching hot metal. Or fire in general. "

Gelorah recalled his experience how that felt when Algra had asked him to pick up something that was not entirely cooled down yet. It had burnt his hand neatly. Gelorah had the most odd idea.

  • "Come outside with me. "

  • "Huh? In that weather? "

Gelorah smirked.

  • "Afraid of a little thunder, o'mighty Black Butterfly? "

  • "You wish! "

Algra hopped off from the bed. She nearly fell down, her legs were more exhausted than she had thought. Gelorah rose up as well, looking at the messed up bed behind him. Some of the sheet were neatly ripped apart. Algra chuckled at the sight for a second.

  • "I suppose it is wise to dress up first... "

Gelorah silently nodded in agreement.

Algra went to the closet to put at least something on her to block her privates & chest. She was satisfied with a red dress that was rather modest. After all, if they went outside, it would get wet anyway. Gelorah rushed to his room to get a loincloth that was wrapped around a sturdy, yet finely decorated pants. The two reunited outside their rooms. No point for a shirt in this weather anyway.

  • "Shall we? "

Algra nodded with a smile. The two walked down the stairs, gathering gazes from all over the hall where some of the troops of the fort had taken shelter from the rain. Cael was one of them. Gelorah was rather happy he did not see Venzyriel. He was a bit afraid to tell her about this, as much as he did not regret a thing. Cael looked at the two with a slight smile. Gelorah avoided his gaze. They approached the doors leading outside. Cael lifted his eyebrow.

  • "You two going outside? "

Gelorah turned back.

  • "It's the perfect weather. "

Garat chuckled, stroking his chin.

  • "For what? "

Gelorah didn't answer. He stepped outside, holding Algra's hand. The rain immediately poured on the two, soaking them wet, making their hairs drop down. The rain felt cool, but not cold. Gelorah pulled Algra closer to himself, pushing his body against hers gently.

  • "Let's dance for a while. "

Algra chuckled in amusement.

  • "Dance? "

  • "Yes. "

  • "But I don't know how to... "

Gelorah ignored that and stepped back, pulling Algra with him.

  • "Just follow my lead. "

For a while, Gelorah lead Algra with his steps, Algra clumsily following, stepping on Gelorah's toes every now and then or Algra nearly tripping over her own tail. But eventually, she started following the simple rhythm. Algra chuckled.

  • "Where did you learn to dance? "

  • "Venzyriel taught me. "

  • "She's very nice, Venzyriel. "

  • "... I know. "

The two kept dancing in the pouring rain, thunderstorm raging above them. The rain felt nice, cooling, making both feel rejuvenated. Algra did not fear this thunder. No more. It felt safe. It was like music, the rain being the chorus while the thunder every now and then played it's part as the orchestra. The two had their eyes fixed on each other, the brief light offered by the thunder flashing on their faces, revealing their afflicted stare towards each other. Footmen & officers had gathered to watch this unusual dance. Garat couldn't help laughing a bit.

  • "That's pretty odd. But beautiful. "

  • "Beautiful, Garat? Lord Gelorah and The Black Butterfly dancing in the thunderstorm! That's just not normal. "

Cael huffed.

  • "How so, Wigor? "

Wigor glanced at Cael. Cael just smiled with Garat.

  • "Thunder, rain & dancing just doesn't fit together, Cael. "

Cael just smiled. Garat stroked his blond, short hair back a bit as the rain had made it a little wet before he had made it to shelter. He nodded very slightly.

  • "Maybe. But they look happy, don't you agree? "

He got no answer.

Venzyriel was now silently watching from one of the windows at her disciple and Algra. She had many feelings. Truthfully, not all of them were pleasing. But utterly, she was happy. Watching her disciple, he seemed so happy... it made her happy. Truly, their dance, as simple as it was, was a sight to behold. A very unique, beautiful event. The couple kept dancing in the courtyard until the thunder finally began to disperse. The clouds disappeared, the rain had been reduced to a very gentle, nearly unnoticeable drizzle. Sun emerged again, making every single wet surface shine. The couple finally stopped dancing, embracing each other in the fresh sunlight. The air was fresh and moist after the rain, the brief moment of silence was broken once the birds appeared from their shelters to sing. In two days, they would go to war. But now, they had this moment forever.
