A/N: Alright. All characters in this are my own. It's simple as that. Adian is a mix of about three different canines, hence why he is just labeled as 'hound demon'. Jason is a black fox demon

Chapter 1

Secrets Can Bring Friends Closer Or Further

Jason Cristian Macias was your average black fox demon. He stood at about five foot ten inches and weighed around one fifty five. He dyed his hair obnoxious colors, randomly wore make up if he was in a make up mood and picked at labels. The male would always stand up for his friends and loved ones as well as his beliefs. When the male was bored with something, he would announce it, when he was excited it showed and when he was depressed he covered it up. That was the typical thing for someone to do though, no matter what they were. But he hid so much from everyone. He hid who he really was, for one. The twenty-four year old would always find a club that his friends wouldn't dare step foot in to be more... Himself. But they weren't just any sort of club. They were gay clubs. He went to be more himself. To actually show something that he hid from every one of his friends. To show that he was gay.

A lot of the time he denied being gay and covered it up rather well. He had been denied who he was his whole life. His parents, being raised strict, hard headed Catholics who denied anyone if they remotely were gay. Jason was afraid to come out. He didn't want his family to disown him or his friends to leave him. He even lied to his best friend, Aidan. To make things even worse, Jason was in love with the damn man! The male was afraid to tell his best friend who he really was and his feelings for his friend. Even after all the nights Aidan stayed the night at his house when they were younger, to their early teens.

Jason realized it when he started to feel this warmth in his chest and his heart skip a beat when his friend was around. Eventually, Jason would catch himself staying awake later than Aidan and watching the male sleep soundly. He hated himself. He really was a monster.

A faggot.

Aidan Keith Seil was comfortable with who he was though. The twenty six year old was a proud omnisexual who stood at six foot seven inches. He weighed about one ninety five or so and dyed goldenrod and maroon streaks in his hair. At first, he wasn't sure. He said he was bisexual but he prefered females. Then... Coming out as omnisexual just felt right. He felt like he had accomplished something by finally coming clean with who he was. Aidan wasn't too great of a flirt, but he was getting better with it. He was using his closet cased friend as a practice, but he made it obvious that he actually held meaning behind his words. That confused Jason even more. Jason sat on his bed in his boxers, shaking his leg in nervousness. It was the first night in a good while the male hadn't gone to the club. But he was lonely. He was used to renting a motel room and sleeping next to some other man whom he'd never met. But oh no. Jason wouldn't dream of actually sleeping with someone he met at the club. He couldn't draw himself to do it. The worst he'd do was go down on the other guy. Of course, he'd do it safely. Jason didn't know what those club whores had, nor did he want to catch it.

The male let out a soft sigh and picked up his slate blue enV3 and opened it, looking at his wallpaper. It was some sort of goofy picture he took with Aidan. He let out a soft sigh and looked at the time. It was only ten. Maybe Aidan was still up. Maybe Aidan would be willing to come over. Maybe... Just maybe, Jason would finally quit lying to his friend and tell him who he was and how he felt. He let out a soft sigh and shook his head.

"No, Jason... Not yet... The time isn't right..."

The male let out a soft sigh and curled up on his bed. He stared at his phone, debating on calling Aidan. Wracking his mind on telling his best friend how he really felt. He was never able to make up his mind on anything. He grabbed his phone and swallowed as he opened his contacts and trembled. He scrolled to Aidan's name and hesitantly pressed send. He put the phone to his ear and swallowed again as he heard it ring once. Ring twice. Just as Jason went to hang up the phone he heard Aidan's calm tone answer.

"Hello?"

"H-h... Hey," Jason responded. He was shaking. There was a soft laugh on the other side.

"What's up, Jay?" Aidan's carefree voice asked. Jason swallowed hard.

"Uh... Aidan.. Would you mind... Coming over...?" The man asked softly, his voice trembling.

"Not at all.... You alright?" Aidan's voice was laced slightly with a hint of worry.

"Yeah... I'm just really lonely..." Jason half lied. He was lonely, but he was trying to draw the courage to tell his best friend the truth.

"Well then yeah, I'll be right over, 'kay? Give me about twenty minutes," Aidan's voice said.

"Alright..."

Aidan hung up the phone and Jason dropped his in his lap, staring at the wall. What the fuck was he going to do?! His entire body shook and his eyes were wide. His brain began to maul itself for even asking Aidan to come over. How was he going to tell Aidan? Shit! He fumbled around his room, hitting himself here and there asking himself why he did that. His phone rang the familiar tone that was assigned to his friend. ATB's Ecstacy was Aidan's ringtone. He walked over and swallowed hard before answering.

"Hello?"

"I'm here. Let me in damnit!" Aidan said with a laugh.

"I'll be down in a sec..." Jason hung up the phone and bit his tongue. He didn't bother getting pants, walking out of his room and down the stairs in his boxers. He had a fairly decent sized house. His tail wasn't as high held and pride-filled as it usually was. That showed he was nervous. He swallowed and walked to the front door.

"I can't believe I'm going to do this..." Jason muttered under his breath. He turned the dead bolt to unlock the door and grasped the brass knob in his hand and slowly turned it, opening the door. There Aidan stood, in all of his demonic hound glory. Dark, shaggy brown hair with hints of goldenrod here, streaks of dark maroon there. The demon was slim and toned. He had broad shoulders and strong hands. Aidan was wearing just shorts, his bright forest green eyes shining with joy. It had been a long while since Aidan and Jason spend alone time together. Two best friends, both hiding a secret from the other. Aidan walked into the doorway and hugged his nervous friend. Aidan sensed the nerves but didn't let it bother him. He figured his friend had a job interview the next day and that was what he was thinking about. Jason forced a smile to show he was okay and hugged his friend back, his tail swishing back and forth slowly.

"Well? Come on," Jason said with a fake laugh as he let his arms fall from the embrace and he took off running, up to his room. Aidan laughed and threw his backpack on the couch, closing the door and locking it then running after his friend. His long, wolf-like tail wagged and he grinned, barking out a soft laugh. He got to Jason's room but Jason was no where to be seen.

"Jason? Where'd you go?" Aidan asked as he walked into the room. Jason closed the door quietly, hiding behind it. Aidan took a whiff of scents into his nose and turned and the fox demon pounced, grinning from ear to ear. On the inside, his heart was racing and he was terrorfied. Aidan laughed and held his friends weight. He nuzzled into his shorter friend and Jason's heart skipped a beat. Sure, they had cuddled before, but even those times Jason's heart skipped. Jason jumped off of Aidan and sat on the bed. The male followed him, laying out on the queen sized mattress and smiling.

"It's been a while, yeah? Since it's just been you and me.." The hound demon smiled. He was only two years older than his companion, but they acted around the same age as one another.

"Y-y-yeah..." Jason swallowed hard, "Uh... Aidan... I... I have to tell you something."

Aidan sat up and looked at Jason. He could definately tell there was an immense fear the fox demon held onto in his heart. Jason knew his best friend would accept him being gay but what really worried him was the fact that he felt like he had to tell his friend that he was in love with him.

"What's up, Jay?" Aidan was worried. He placed his hand on Jason's shoulder and Jason swallowed hard, looking his friend dead in the eyes.

"I'm gay..."

After the words were said, silence engulfed the room and the two sat there, staring at one another. Aidan was shocked. Jason always was able to pull off the heterosexual male thing too well. Way too well. He acted like a straight guy, talked straight. Whenever Aidan got Jason to go to the club with him, he flirted with no one because they were either gay men or lesbians. Everything about Jason was straight! But Aidan knew his friend wasn't lying.

"There's nothing wrong with that," Aidan said with reassurance. Jason forced a smile before breaking down.

"You know what my parents think about the whole thing... If my family finds out, they'll think I'm a monster. A faggot..." Jason choked, dropping his head. His eyes teared up.

"Your parents can suck my dick," Aidan said with a light laugh, trying to lighten the mood. He lightly kissed the fox demon's forehead. Jason shrugged.

"But... I have something else... To tell you..." Jason said, his voice trembling more than it was when he came out to his friend.

"Shoot."

There was a long, painful silence. Both males sat on Jason's bed, looking at one another. Jason was trying to word it just right in his head. His heart pounded violently and his brain was telling him not to tell him. But he knew he had to. He swallowed hard and looked at Aidan.

"I... Uh... I... Erh... Um..."

"Come on, Jay. Spill it. Whatever it is, I promise you I won't freak out." Aidan flashed a reassuring grin that caused Jason's heart to just melt. That grin... Something so simple could weaken one demon.

"I... Aidan... I love you."

Aidan cocked a brow, "Well I love you too, Jason... What does that have to--" Jason pressed his fingers to Aidan's lips softly, silencing the male

"No, Aidan. I... I... I love you! I'm... In love with you..." Jason stammered. Aidan's eyes went wide, realizing what had just been passed into his ears. He was speechless. He didn't know what to say or what to do. Whenever he flirted with his friend, he meant the words he said. He really did like the fox demon. Suddenly everything made sense. The reasons why Jason wouldn't tell Aidan to stop flirting with him. The reason why Jason always wanted to be near the hound demon. Two childhood friends in love like that could be considered taboo since the bonding, brotherly relationship the males developed for one another, but it wasn't really taboo since the brotherhood was simply there because they had been around eachother so long. Aidan swallowed hard. He didn't know what to do, what to say or anything. He lost himself in thought. His fantasies were becoming a reality. Maybe he could actually lead on a life with Jason. Sure, Jason's parents would hate their oldest son, but Aidan didn't give a damn. He loved the male. He had for a while.

That was why he came out as bisexual.

Not because he had dated some guy that he found attractive. Because Jason was so appealing to him. He thought Jason was the only male he would grow attracted to but he was wrong. In highschool, he dated four guys but got bored with them. He dated several gals but got bored with them. It wasn't just Jason who he was attracted to, but he thought of Jason while he was in those relationships. He didn't want the others as badly as he did Jason. He craved that special companionship with Jason as not only best friend, but as a lover. The fox demon knew almost everything about him! His turn-ons and turn offs, his fetishes, his passions. He began to think about more than just the past. He also thought of the now. Thought of how Jason felt about his exboyfriends and exgirlfriends. Now things were making sense. That was why, when Aidan was in his relationships, Jason always somehow looked hurt, whether he spouted it off or not. He couldn't believe that his best friend came out to him, let alone was in love with him.

"Like when you dated James... I can't forget when you told me. I broke. When you left my house that evening, I went to my room and I just started bawling," Jason said softly, breaking the silence.

"W-w-w-when did you... Come to this realization? That you're gay..."

"About eight years ago... All those girls I've dated? I didn't feel anything towards them... I wasn't attracted to them sexually... When I fucked them, I imagined them as you. Sure, it was hard to do that seeing is how they don't have a cock but... I was able to..." Jason muttered softly. He looked at Aidan, who was still in shock, before continuing to speak, "Heh... I remember in P.E. I would watch the guys in the locker room... When you and I shared ROTC as a class, I would secretly be watching you when we changed in the locker room..." Jason spoke softly, practically a whisper. He looked at Aidan, who was still shocked.

Jason smiled softly. He risked it all, now he just had to wait for what his friend would do. He was half expecting Aidan to leave right then and there, but the hound demon stayed. Aidan moved suddenly, Jason gasped, seeing Aidan's arm lift. Jason closed his eyes and cowered slightly, afraid that he was going to get slapped. He felt that soft hand press against his cheek gently. Jason opened his eyes slowly to see Aidan's foresty orbs gazing into Jason's slate blue ones, causing Jason to try to swallow. By now, his throat was dry and his hands were slightly clammy. Aidan smiled at his friend.

"You know... You're the reason why I came out as bisexual in the first place. I haven't told anyone that. But you are. I thought it was just a crush before I finally realized that I fucking love you," Aidan whispered softly, as if there were other people in the room or the house. But the two were the only one there. Jason's eyes watered up. He was happy. The hound demon leaned close and softly kissed the fox demon's tears away. They shared a mutual feeling toward one another. Jason's heart raced a mile a minute as he raised his head, very lightly pressing his lips to his best friends. Aidan returned the soft kiss, letting his passion flow into it.

The two friends sat on the bed, the kiss passed between both. Jason's heart pounded violently once more. He was afraid that it would just pop out of his chest. Jason placed a hand on the side of hound demon's neck, pulling him closer. Their tongues danced with one another, feeling around each new surrounding. Aidan placed a hand on Jason's hip. Jason shifted, keeping the lock as best as he could as he climbed onto the hound demon's lap, pushing him gently down to the bed. Aidan pulled Jason down closer, his finger tips softly rubbing the males shoulder blades with his left hand, the base of his fox tail with his right. The fox demon shuddered slightly as he slowly pulled away, a single strand of saliva keeping the two connected before it broke. Their tails were rested near one another, their groins pressed tightly together. Jason's face was slightly pink, a faint smile across his face.
