Just as he usually did, the lone rogue, Storm, was traveling on his lonesome. His wandering had taken him to the place by the name of Broken Canyon. And once he was deep within, it was easy to see how it's canyon got its simple name. The area was littered with loose stones that needed nothing but a gust of wind to bring them tumbling down from above. That risk alone was aided by the dark clouds that loomed high in the air.

He was keeping himself on alert, listening for even the slightest of noises that could alert him to more rocks falling from above. The deeper he went, the more stable the rocks seemed to be but he still kept his wits about him, knowing better to let his guard down for a moment.

There was another sound, something scrabbling rather than the distant crunching and crumbling of the stone high above. It was something else; or rather someone.

The dark blue lion turned around and shook his head, easing up the tension that flared within him.

"I should have known."

Walking up to him with a cheery smile on his face was another lion. This one was a sunset orange with a light blonde mane. His mane was long and a bang covered an eye. The single visible eye was bright, locked on to the other feline before him.

"Storm. We just keep crossing paths, huh?"

"I guess we do, Rain."

The deep orange lion just chuckled and looked up at the dark sky. "When I heard about this place, I just had to check it out. But... Nobody told me it was this dangerous."

"Well, it is called the Broken Canyon. It's not a very appealing name," Storm responded.

"Hey! What's with that serious look? Aren't you glad to see me?"

Storm shook his head, looking up as well. "Of course I am, but..." There was another sound from above. It was the sudden boom of thunder, echoing through the emptiness of the canyon. And following it were a series of rumbles and crunches that raised both of their guards.

"Storm! It's..."

"It's a rockslide! Come on!" Storm led the way but didn't run at his full speed. He wanted to make sure that Rain was next to him. And once they were side by side the black maned lion led the way just as the first rocks were starting to fall behind them. They fell just as the first drops of rain were. The earth beneath their paws rumbled, a constant reminder of the danger they were in.

"Over there!" Rain pointed out an arch made of thick stone. The space underneath was like a cavern.

"Yeah, come on!"

Running as fast as they could, the two lions raced for the arch and with a leap from the both of them, they made it inside. But more rocks were falling and the way they came in was being steadily sealed, at first by smaller rocks, but then by a huge boulder that crunched down. The arch shook and dust from it's ceiling fell and drifted down, but it held firm and the other side was still clear.

"W-we made it," Rain said with a deep sigh.

"Yeah..." Storm agreed, shaking himself off.

The rain was falling now, but it was coming down hard. In the distance were flashes of lightning that was later joined by the distant cracks and thrums of thunder.

He finally sat down and relaxed. "Guess we're not going anywhere soon..."

"So?" Rain asked, getting close. With a smile on his face, he prodded his friend's shoulder. "Aren't you happy to see me?"

"I am," Storm nodded and finally gave him a smile. "I didn't think we would see each other for a while."

"I don't know why we can't just travel together," Rain pouted, resting his face on Storm's shoulder fully. "It would make our banishment much easier."

"Hmm, I suppose you're right. We just keep crossing paths anyways, huh?"

Rain nodded and then a smirk spread on his face. "You remember the last time we met up? What we did?"

"Of course," Storm nodded, already replaying the vivid images in his mind. "And we thought it would be a much longer time before we would see each other again."

"So let's make this time different..." Rain mumbled, nuzzling his face into the rough mane of the other rogue.

Storm returned the action and embraced his friend, feeling himself starting to stir. "Alright."

A low purr came from the orange lion. He pushed his muzzle and the rest of his body against his blue furred friend. A small noise came from Storm as he was knocked off balance.

"Hehe. Now you're asking for it!"

Now the usually reserved rogue was playing along with his childhood friend. Within the partially closed space of the arch's shelter, the two of them started to wrestle against each other, growling as they used their own strength against each other. It resulted in the two of them tumbling against each other.

In all the play fights they had, Rain had won all of them. He was bigger than the other and always used his wider body to subdue Storm. But this time, the blue lion was using the closed space to his advantage. He could move around easier and with a few swats of his paws and sudden tackle with all the strength he had, Storm actually managed to pin Rain down for the first time.

"Well played," the bigger feline smiled. Then he gasped as he felt himself touching against Storm. The two of them looked down to see their lengths touching. "Heh. You won so you get the first move."

"Then how about this?"

Storm slithered his body over the other lion's until his cocktip was pressing against their lips. Nothing was said, but a groan did come from the blue lion. Soft lips wrapped around it and a rough tongue was already lapping at it. He couldn't resist pressing more of his length inside. Rain took it easily enough and worked to service the winner of their little contest.

"You've gotten better. Have you been fooling around without me?" Storm teased. Teeth pressed against his length and a teasing growl came. "Alright, alright."

Rolling his eyes, the orange lion went back to licking along the shaft, taking in it's very familiar flavor, one that he was just starting to miss. And now he had it again.

And Storm was already grunting from the pleasure that scored along his cock. His words were used to tease, but there was a clear difference in the way that Rain's mouth caressed his length. It was much softer and the texture of his tongue provided an incredible contrast.

He pulled free, realizing that he was getting ahead of himself and he ran the risk of ending the fun before the two of them really got started.

"What's wrong?" Rain asked.

"Nothing. It was perfect. But, now it's my turn." Easing himself back down to the way there were before, Storm got even lower and angled himself until his tip was pressing against the soft flesh of the waiting hole. "Ready?"

He started pushing himself inside and heard the moan coming from his friend. He closed his eyes and grunted from the sudden tightness that met his length. After taking a moment to steady himself he continued.

It had been even longer since Rain was on the receiving end and had almost forgotten how big Storm was despite having a smaller body. It was already pushing rather deep inside of him, touching spots and bringing about sensations that eluded him for some time.

"Aah, S-Storm!"

"I know," the other lion said, gritting his fangs as he pushed himself deeper. "It's been too long since..."

He made another rock of his hips, this one was intended to really push it inside. Another moan came from Rain as his inches slid in, further and further until he fully hilted himself inside, taking a moment to just feel the soft and warm embrace around his length.

The two of them stood there for a moment, panting and gazing into each other's eyes. A smile spread over Rain's muzzle and he gave his friend a nod to go ahead. And Storm picked up exactly where they left off. He planted his hindpaws firmly to the ground while pulling himself back.

"Get ready... At least we don't have to worry about your voice making any more rocks fall."

Nodding, the bigger lion braced himself but that did not stop a sudden moan from sounding the moment he was thrust into. It was not only the length of the flesh burying itself into him, but it was the power that Storm put into it, rocking his body hard and giving a grunt of force as he did so.

"Told you."

As much as he wanted to say something in response, the series of thrusts were leaving the other feline speechless. So all he could do was growl playfully and roll his eyes. Storm continued thrusting into him, with not as much power but with more speed, bringing their bodies closer by lowering his own.

As his body moved, the blue lion started to lick at Rain's neck, making them slow and drawn out, tracing along the length and combing through the thick fur of the other rogue's pelt. In response he not only got moans, but deep purrs that were reverberating off of the makeshift cavern's walls.

"S...Storm... I...I love you!" Rain suddenly confessed.

The instant those words left his muzzle, the thrusting stopped and the quiet lion looked at the other with surprise.

"Y-you do?" Storm was at a loss for words, more than he usually was. But he could not deny that he felt a certain fondness for Rain. They had been close for as long as he could remember and in the great banishment of their taken over tribe, the two of them managed to stay in touch despite taking completely different paths. They always somehow found each other.

"How could I not? Especially now?" Rain's tone turned playful again. Storm couldn't help but snicker.

"What am I gonna do with you?"

A sultry look came from his partner. "Well first you can finish mating me. But not as a friend, but as a mate."

"I would be my pleasure. Hehe. Literally I suppose," Storm chuckled. His heart was racing as he started moving his body again. One little conversation instantly changed the mood of their union. There was a sudden passion he had for the other lion, to see that he was pleased just as much as he would be, if not more.

As he started rocking his hips, sliding his cock against the smooth and squeezing walls, Storm was back to licking at his mate's neck, making them even slower and stronger, both showing his affection and doping a bit of grooming to really bring out the bigger male's beauty.

A hiss came from Rain as his prostate was hit. His large paws wrapped around Storm and held them so close that their chests were touching.

"Right there. You feel... So good..."

"It's the least I can do."

Storm pulled himself completely back out before shoving his entire cock back inside, making sure to angle himself to hit that spot again. And his efforts earned another hard squeeze and yowl from his now mate.

Growls steadily came from him as he went faster, nearly taken aback by how it suddenly felt. Against his pushes were squeezes that were timed as well, forcing him to endure another burst of sensations. Against his belly, he could feel a warmness that was spreading.

Rain's own cock was leaking heavily and the pounds to his prostate were making him lose control. Usually he could pace himself, but this time he could feel himself getting closer and closer. And it was already feeling much stronger than any other build up he ever had.

"I have to..."

"Shhh... Just let it happen," Storm encouraged, giving a nuzzle to Rain's muzzle.

Storm thrust hard again. Another loud cry came from Rain as he indeed came hard against his made, letting thick ropes of his seed off against the blue lion's belly. All he could do was pant hard and squirm, his mind hazing from the powerful sensations that took hold of him.

With his mate taken care of, Storm picked up his pace even more, now snarling and finally moaning himself as was slamming his cock within and out of the hole at a rapid pace, even making Rain's body rock a bit. He gave a few more hard pumps before he roared, unloading into the other male.

The two of them raised their voices as Storm's seed poured into the tight hole, solidifying their place as mates. Rain wore a blissful smile, knowing that he was being marked at the other lion's. He knew that he would have to do the same, but for the time being, he was content to feel the warm fluid being unloaded into him.

Storm gave a few more grunts before he sighed deeply. He too felt something knew about this climax. With his essence now inside of the other lion, the two of them were more than what they ever were before. And he was glad that was the case. For so long he had been wandering, searching for some kind of new purpose without his tribe. But now he had found it, it had been there the whole time.

Before he could enjoy some aftercare with his mate, his ears flicked and a growl rose in his throat. This one was cautious and protective. The rain had died down just as they finished and with it's ease came the visage and scent of another lion in the distance.

Storm pulled himself free. "Stay here."

Despite Rain's size, he was never much of a fighter. And the orange lion nodded, but wore a visage of worry. Taking a deep breath, Storm slowly strode out of the cave.

He was prepared for a fight, expecting that it was another, more aggressive rogue looking to lay claim to his mate. It must have followed the scent of their mating as the rain stopped pouring.

As the lion came into proper view, Storm was about to pounce, but he stopped himself at the last moment, realizing that he knew the lion. He breathed a sigh of relief and smiled.

"Hello, Storm. I never expected to see you here."
