Just a little something put together for a spooky story contest. Might be a good idea to upload it before Hallowe'en ends. Hope you enjoy <3

"I really don't get why we had to leave the theatre," James pouted as he walked with his date along the dimly lit park path. "The movie was just getting good!"

"I told you," Zach replied sharply, glancing once more over his shoulder back up the path they had walked from. "Harley and Jake and a few other guys showed up, and I didn't want them to see me."

"See us, you mean," The feminine zebra sighed, kicking a stone down the path ahead with a hoof. "I really don't get why telling them you're dating me is such a big deal."

"Look, I just don't want to deal with their bullshit," Zach snapped again, turning away from where they had come from confident that he didn't get spotted as they made their hasty escape from the theatre. "You know_Harley would've said something, and you _know Jake would've fed off of it and made it worse."

"You_do_ realize that I've talked with both of them before, right?" James probed, the chill of the night air held at bay by an anger rising in his stomach at the now familiar argument. "Neither of them gives a shit that I'm gay. They don't even care that I dress like a chick most of the time!"

"That's not the point!" Zach shouted, his voice echoingthrough the trees.

James went completely silent at the outburst, faltering in his stride as he fixed the taller ram with a look of barely restrained anger, shock, and disappointment.

Zach didn't stop walking, however, and if he sensed James' glare, he gave no sign of it.

The zebra was becoming more of a liability to him with each passing week; too open, too confident, and far too expectant. Everything had started as a simple rebound, but one night spent fucking away the bad memory of his ex had turned into another, and then another, and before he knew it, the two of them were warming each others beds several times a week. Zach had zero intentions to let things develop as far as they had, but having the feminine zebraon speed dial, an eagerly willing hole to fuck at almost any time and any place, was too good to pass up.

But of course, the smaller equine had become invested. That much was clear to Zach as the zebra's familiar hoofsteps caught up to him and carried on walking with him. Every time he mentioned the word_'dating'_ the ram cringed.

He didn't want to say anything; the ram simply wanted to get back to his apartment so he could send James on his way and work out his frustrations on the first chick that messaged him online.

The zebra, however, wasn't content to just let things end on such a sour note.

"Hey," His voice was quiet, almost wary. "Remember what we were doing before we left the movie?"

The ghost of a sensation caused a twitch in Zach's shorts.

James might have been too clingy and pushy, but the thing that kept Zach coming back was that muzzle of his. Seated as they had been near the back of the half empty theatre, the zebra had been putting that mouth of his to great use when the ram noticed his friends enter the darkened room. The ensuing rush out of the building and the recent argument had left the ram with a bad case of blue balls, and if tonight was the night that he would finally cut the zebra loose for good, he figured he might as well get one last ride out of him.

A light off the path caught Zach's attention and he turned from the main path to approach it without checking to make sure that James was following.

There was a single park bench sitting under the dim light of a tall lamppost a dozen yards from where they were, and several feet beyond was a simple park restroom. Zach wasn't too keen on suffering through the smell of a day's worth of urine and whatever else the park visitors would have left behind, so he opted to sit himself down on the bench with his legs spread apart.

"O-oh, uh..." James stuttered as he came to a stop before the ram.

"Ugh, what? What's the problem now?" Zach couldn't keep his annoyance out of his voice.

"Well, the teddy bear is kind of creepy..." James replied, tilting his nose towards the edge of the bench Zach sat on.

At first glance, Zach didn't see it; its colours were so faded and washed out that it nearly blended into the weathered wood of the bench itself. The softball-sized teddy bear was a pathetic memory left to rot in the elements for what seemed like several decades. Whatever tragedy it might have represented before clearly having been long forgotten if that was why it had been left there initially. It could have easily just have been forgotten by some child, but that seemed less likely given how long it had evidently been sitting out in the open.

Many such markers were left all over the city; at street corners, along roadways, all identifying a place where a life had been lost in some tragic event.

"So?" Zach reached over to the bear and flicked it over the edge of the bench, not wanting to delay the blow job he had been denied earlier any longer. "Better?"

"I mean... it's still a memorial bench I think..." The zebra fidgeted, suddenly unsure of the whole situation.

"Do you want to do this or should I just get up and keep walking?" Zach huffed, rolling his eyes. "A bench is just a fuckin' bench and if you want this dick this is where you'll get it."

"Alright! Alright..." Sufficiently cowed and convinced that a blowjob would be the right first step in mending the damage done by their earlier spat, James knelt down in the thick grass at the foot of the bench. His dexterous fingers quickly found the button and fly of the ram's shorts and undid them, letting the ungulate's boxer-clad bulge spring into the open.

The fabric was still damp from their earlier attempt in the theatre, and James found his nose swimming in the scent of his saliva and the ram's precum. It made the zebra shiver and forget about the aggravation of Zach's attitude, and at that moment, that was good enough for him.

A thick dark purple head slipped through the front pouch of Zach's boxers, his cock flexing of its own accord as if sensing the presence of the muzzle that had been servicing it before. James greedily reached forward to grip the thick wet shaft, pulling back the foreskin from the head before diving in to slip it into his muzzle once more.

Zach grunted as the zebra went to work, eagerly sliding his cock deeper and deeper into his maw andpicking up right from where they had left off. The earlier interruption might as well have not happened at all with how quickly James buried his nose into the ram's musky crotch, eagerly drowning himself in the heavy scent that permeated fur and fabric alike.

This was why Zach kept letting James come back to him.

This fucking muzzle that so expertly flexed around his generous shaft, the tongue that flicked over his sensitive head with each bob up and snaked outover the base of his sack when he dropped back down. No chick Zach had ever slept with had been able to take him so effortlessly, nor had any of them been particularly keen when he took hold of their ears to slam their faces into his crotch more firmly as he began to with James in that moment.

Of course, the zebra wasn't keen on it either considering the choking gurgles and frantic convulsions of his throat, but Zach figured the twink wouldn't complain.

A load under his tail would smooth that over anyways. It always did.

James felt tears fall from his closed eyes as the ram roughly forced him down on his cock again and again, accustomed enough mentallyto the rough treatment but still working on getting his throat to give in to it. He became thankful that their tryst in the theatre had been interrupted; the idea of walking out among the crowd with saliva soaked fur matting his muzzle and the stench of Zach's cock filling the air around his head didn't bear thinking about.

The earlier session coupled with the lewd slurps and public space were all working together to bring Zach to climax sooner than he had expected, but the ram hardly cared. He just wanted to get his rocks off, get home, and tell James to go on his way so he could find an actual pussy to pound.

Thinking about that alone... the warm folds encasing his shaft, the whimpers of a chick biting down on her pillow as he went balls deep in her with every thrust, squeezing her tits from behind...

He ignored the zebra between his legs as he climaxed, content to savour the image he held in his mind of some sorority slut crying out his name as he filled her. The insistent tapping on his thigh went unnoticed while he rode out his orgasm with gritted teeth and clenching muscles until finally he released his grip on James' head.

The zebra pulled back, coughing and spitting out a mouthful of ram cum onto the grass below him. Thick strands of it swung wildly from the corners of his lips as he gasped in desperate lungfuls of air for several long moments before he was able to collect himself enough to throw a venomous glare at Zach.

"Th-the fuck, Zach?!" He gasped, wiping away the strands of cum with the back of a hand.

"Don't bitch about getting what you wanted," The ram replied nonchalantly as he leaned back on the bench and took a deep relaxing breath. "Gimme a minute and we'll get going, unless you wanted to call a cab and get yourself home now. Should get to the park entrance by the time one comes 'round."

Whether James heard him and understood the implication of what he had said or not wasn't a mystery to be solved at that moment. The zebra stood up from the ground, still breathing heavily as he started to walk towards the restroom.

"I'm cleaning myself up," He said, unable to keep some bitterness from his hoarse voice. "Not walking around with my fur fucked up like this..."

"Whatever." Zach replied as he pulled out his phone to get a head start on cruising.

A few swipes of his finger was all it took to get a chat started, and within moments he was leaning back and lifting his phone to snap a selfie.

Reclined on the bench, his semi-hard cock still glistening in the light of the lamppost, he struck a damn fine image, topped off with the perfect confident smirk. To his surprise, however, the message he got in response to the picture had nothing to do with his exposed package and left him confused.

"That's a creepy little friend you got there!"

Zach was not little.

He was about to snap at the chick when he looked more closely at the image he had sent.

Just to the left of his chest, propped up on the edge of the park bench, sat the mouldy teddy bear.

The ram turned to look at the old stuffed animal, confusion marring his features as the bear was not only back up on the bench, but was also sitting straight up and seemingly looking directly at him.

Did he not knock it off the bench before James went down on him?

The zebra had gone straight to the restroom, and picking it up and setting it back didn't seem like something he would have worried himself about at the time.

An uncomfortable warmth started creeping its way through Zach's insides the longer he looked at the bear, and it made him uneasy. Zach reached out once more and knocked the bear back over the edge of the bench, deciding that he would start walking to the park entrance now and let James either catch up or leave his own way. He wasn't concerned with the repercussions of leaving the zebra behind; he had gotten that last great blowjob out of him and he could finally move on to other conquests.

Oddly enough though, Zach found that he was feeling remarkably out of breath; enough so that the simple act of leaning forward to stand was enough to wind him.

The strange warmth he felt began to snake its way from his bowels through his chest and out to his extremities, seemingly sapping his strength. He felt ill, like a fever had suddenly come over him, and he slumped back in his seat, suddenly feeling completely out of breath and light headed. Zach turned his head to look towards the restroom, but his vision was blurring rapidly, and the only object he could make out clearly anymore was the mouldy teddy bear, once again sitting on the edge of the bench and staring at him.

Zach wretched.

Bile rose in his throat as he doubled over, coughing up thick black fluid onto the weathered wood of the park bench. He tried to push himself up, but the moment his hand connected with the seat, a thick white mouldsprang up from the woodand coveredit. The ram stared in horror as the mould continued to spread up his arm, withering his flesh and rotting his shirt as it went. Pinpricks of agony shot through his arm, but no matter how hard he tried to thrash, to pull away, his limb simply wouldn't move.

He tried to scream, but the only sound that came out was a choking gurgle as curdled fluid poured from his open mouth. He could feel his teeth fall from their sockets; his fur shed rapidly from his skin before that too began to slough off in wet chunks of rotting gore.

The thin white hairs of the mould crept swiftly up his heaving torso, causing every breath to become a struggle as Zach's consciousness began to fade. His body slumped down fully onto the bench, one eye remaining free of whatever it was that was consuming him, and through his tears, all he could see was the old teddy bear, and in its black button eyes a void so hungry, it cause his heart to simply stop...

"Alright, I'm clean, can we go... now?" James approached the park bench where he had left Zach not five minutes ago, both alarmed and unsurprised to find it empty. "You've got to be fucking kidding me..."

The zebra looked around, feeling a chill close around him at the idea of being left alone in such a large dark park so late at night.

"Zach!" He called, an edge of fear in his voice even though he felt more anger than he could ever recall feeling before. "Zach this isn't fucking funny! Where are you?!"

His words were lost in the silent trees surrounding him.

The zebra wanted to shout again, but he couldn't be sure if what he would say would be hateful curses or mournful cries of apology.

"I should've known," He muttered to himself, resigned to the idea that the ram had simply left him, for good this time. "Fucking asshole..."

Turning to where the ram had been seated, James felt a twinge of guilt.

He stepped towards it, reaching down to the grass beside the seat, and picked up the old mouldy teddy bear, surprised to find his eyes welling up with tears.

"Guess we're two of a kind, eh?" He spent a moment cleaning off the worst of the detritus from the stuffed toy before setting it gently down on the bench, sitting it upright. "Loved once then left aside to rot."

He wiped his eyes.

"I guess you're here _for_someone, or the memory of them, at least," James reached into his pocket to pull out his phone. Just as he was about to start dialing the number of a taxi, a shout from the main path made him jump.

"James?" Harley, a stout looking hyena jogged over to where the zebra was standing, looking genuinely concerned. "What are you doing out here?"

"Oh, Harley!" The zebra replied, wiping his eyes with his free hand just in time to see the rest of Harley's friends standing in the lamplight behind, evidently all having enjoyed the rest of the movie that he had missed. "S-sorry, I was kinda just out for a walk. Wanted to clear my head."

"You okay?" He asked, his gruff features creasing into a look of worry at the sight of the zebra and his reddened eyes. "Not really the best time of night to be out and about on your own."

"Yeah, yeah I'm..." James started, setting his phone back in his pocket. "I'll be fine. Thanks."

"So I know you only kinda know me and Jake, but, did you want to join us for the evening?" The hyena gestured back to the others laughing and talking animatedly on the main path. "We're heading down to Tameson's Pub for some drinks and food then it's back to Tanner's place for board games."

James thought for a moment, casting a glance to the lonely bear sitting up on the bench next to them. The faded stitching around the mouth of it and its black button eyes seemingly reaching out to speak to him through sensation alone. It was comforting. A little warmth telling him that the teddy bear would be okay staying where it was, holding its vigil for whoever had set it there however long ago as long as fate would allow. It had a memory to preserve, he thought.

"You know what," He said, giving the little animal a small smile. "Sure, I could stand to have some fun."
