The sound of her phone's ringtone snapped her out of her thoughts and she quickly fished through her bag. Pulling out her phone, she saw that it was none other than one of her friends, Rainbow Dash.

Glancing at the time and realizing it was 9:25, she quickly answered the call. "Uh, hello?"

[Yo Twilight? Where are you?! I've been trying to reach you for the last hour_! The party's just about to start!]_

"Oh, I'm so, SO_sorry Dash! I must've forgotten to charge my phone!" Twilight explained as the bus arrived, and upon seeing her reflection in the door glass, she soon noticed the "touch-ups" Sunset had mentioned... most noticeably, _her new fangs.

[You ok Twi? You didn't get lost, did you?]

As Twilight got aboard the bus, she glanced over her shoulder... and saw a pair of crimson eyes watching her from the shadows. "...actually, I met a rather friendly lady... and she helped me out." She explained, smiling as the doors closed. "And I think you'd love to meet her..."
