#8 of CYOA: Judy Hopps

The fight begins in earnest after the closest vote yet! But what happens next? Welcome to the eighth instalment of a CYOA inspired by KitsuneYoukai, Firecat, and Rubber, where Judy Hopps adopts the alter ego Nighthowler to have some vigilante fun off the clock, and YOU decide how it goes!

Votes Tallied across SoFurry, InkBunny, FurAffinity, and Discord

**[1] Heroic Duel: 10

[2] Pile On: 8

[3] Assertive Mistress: 9

[4] Frantic Fumble: 3**

White Claw might've been an intimidating foe, but Nighthowler wasn't scared. This was a hero's job, after all.

"Don't worry." She grins assuredly towards the trio of rats, giving a thumbs up. "I'll handle her!"

Nighthowler steps forward, drawing a pair of handcuffs from her utility belt with a sharp snick and spinning them around her finger. "Things will be a lot easier if you come quietly~" She calls out, a final caution to the villainous cat!

"Forgive me for not taking advice from a dumb bunny." White Claw drawls, rolling her frosty eyes. "Especially one about to meet a bad end." Without warning, she surges forwards in a blur of snow-white fur and tight black leather, her razor-sharp claws glinting as she swipes down at Nighthowler!

Nighthowler quickly ducks aside, barely escaping a pierced ear! She responds in kind, hurling one of her feet into a sudden stunning kick! It narrowly misses the wildcat's waist, the flexible feline twisting out of the way just in time, forcing Nighthowler to bound away lest she get hit by a second swipe! The cat was fast!

White Claw is relentless! She darts after Nighthowler, eager to make a scratching post of that squeaky rubber costume! Nighthowler can't afford to get cornered, not even for a moment! She thinks quickly! Backflipping across the concrete, the rabbit throws herself behind the crate the rats had been carrying, putting it between her and the pouncing pussy. With a sharp __crack__ she kicks the container towards White Claw with both feet, sending it toppling onto its side, lid breaking off and spilling condom packets all over the ground!

White Claw is forced back, but only for a moment! A few seconds for Nighthowler to think of a plan! The cat might've been taller, maybe even faster than the average rabbit, but Nighthowler wasn't the average rabbit. She would need to fight boldly if she wanted to win, even if that meant sacrifices!

**[1] Nighthowler strikes out with her handcuffs, managing to lock one end around White Claw's wrist! But that will put her in a prime position for a counterattack! [50% Chance of damage to Costume Shirt! White Claw's Sharp Swipes means any damage has a further 25% chance to be severe, completely shredding the garment!]

[2] It's all in the legs! Nighthowler uses a well-placed bunny kick to swipe White Claw's leg from beneath her, sending the cat toppling to the ground! But she better watch those claws on the way down! [50% Chance of damage to Costume Leggings! White Claw's Sharp Swipes means any damage has a further 25% chance to be severe, completely shredding the garment!]

[3] Play it safe! Nighthowler doesn't commit to a focused strike, duking it out with White Claw and hoping for an opportunity. [50% Chance for either White Claw or Nighthowler to commit an exploitable blunder.]**

So, what do you think should happen next?

Judy has the chance to get the advantage, but at what cost? Comment with your vote, a suggestion, or a sordid desire. I'm running the same CYOA on FurAffinity, Inkbunny, and a CYOA Discord channel, so the votes you see here will not be the entire count.

After the closeness of this vote and the options involved, I'm considering adjusting the voting system to allow ranked-choice votes. This means if your choice is eliminated (Such as if you voted for Frantic Fumble in the last round), your vote will go to your alternative preference. This feels fairer for those drawing the short end of the stick, whose votes could then sway very close calls. What do you think?
