COLLEGE DAYS.
Day Six.
HAPPY NEW YEAR.
31st December 2318.
6:35pm
All of Stephan's family sat at the table, Illumanati and Sunrise flanking him, each holding his arm possessively while Momo sat next to Summerbreeze who was sitting next to his sister, asking questions, giggling at the private answers that the herm foxtaur gave, even blushing some.
Saphire and Kandine were sitting with Pola and Yogis, giggling and chatting about school and other things young cubs talk about. Christine and Blacktail was chatting with Joshua, asking him what is was like being in law enforcement.
The servants came out with trolleys of food, and what a feast, chicken, turkey, pizza, chops, steak, spaghetti bowls, lasagne, stir fry vegetables; basically, every dish you could think off was placed on the large dining table.
Taurs and morphs and human drooled at the smells emanating from the plates of steaming hot food and side dishes.
"Before we eat, let's say grace." Christine said, looking at Joshua for acknowledgment, who just nodded. Clasping their hands and bowing their heads and closing their eyes, the guests and hosts waited for the first speaker.
"Blessed creator, please watch over those seated here and thank you for the bountiful food that we will enjoy, and give thanks to those who provided and serve the meals before us." Joshua stated.
A chorus of amen came from all at the table.
<Bless the family and friends who have gathered here tonight, and bless those that can not be present with us.> Nati added, a single tear rolled down hir cheek, as memories of hir parents surfaced. Stephan and Summerbreeze saw this, and they both hugged and whispered words of thanks and condolences.
Once grace was said, the servants proceeded to dish out portions of food, to the request of the diners, as well as supplying drinks, ranging from alcoholic beverages to soda and coffee and tea. Stephan asked for Irish baileys, while Sunrise asked for bourbon and coke. Summerbreeze wanted Irish baileys as well, but his mother said no. Pouting, he accepted the glass of diet coke, while the cubs all drank Pepsi Max or Pepsi.
Soon, the furs and the human started feasting, with few spoken words, as they all nearly had their mouths full of food or drink.
"So, I hear that you two sing and play musical instruments?" Summerbreeze asked the fox twins, a chicken leg in his paw, ready to be eaten.
"Yes, very well it seems." Saphire replied, looking at the young foxtaur tod, with a twinkle in her eye, something that Kandine noticed, and playfully poked his sister. The other two twins noticed as well, and started giggling, which ended with Pola choking on the piece of food in her mouth. Yogis patted her on the back, until she swallowed the lodged food from her windpipe.
"Will we hear you two play tonight?" he asked, hopefully.
"Certainly, in fact, we have come up with a new song for just the occasion." Kandine replied, before popping a party pie in his maw, chewing it a few time before swallowing.
"Cool, I can't wait." Summerbreeze said, biting in the chicken leg, murring happiness.
"So, what's it like in WA?" Saphire asked the tod foxtaur, smiling.
Summerbreeze chewed for a while, swallowed before answering.
"It's pretty hot about now, but quiet and not a lot goes on, I live in a small village." he said, smiling at the vixen morph, who smiled back.
Nati said something private to him, which made him blush and look down.
"What?" Saphire asked, intrigued by his sudden reaction.
"Nothing." He mumbled, taking a bite from his chicken leg again.
Nati repeated the question to Saphire, who giggled and blushed as well.
Now Kandine was interested in the shared conversation between his sister and the foxtaur.
"Ok you three, spill it." he ordered, hands on his hips.
<I asked my brother if he found Saphire hot?> shi replied, giggling when shi saw his look of surprise.
"Well?" he asked the tod.
"Well what?" Summerbreeze asked, blushing even more, his ears turning bright red inside.
"Do you find my sister hot?" he asked again, this time in an authoritive manner.
"Yeah.... I do..." he mumbled, wishing to be anywhere but at his current location.
"Good, coz she is hot, like your sister is too." He said, with no hint of embarrassment.
<SUMMER AND SAPHIRE, SITTING IN THE TREE... K.I.S.S.I.N.G...> Nati began teasing, making hir brother even more embarrassed.
Summerbreeze just hic-up and suddenly, playfully punched his sisters arm, making hir stop the chant.
"Ok, you win, I won't tease you or big brother anymore." He replied, looking up into Saphires beautiful blue eyes, and noticed that she was smiling and her tail was wagging.
He smiled back and continued with his meal.
The conversation with the adults were a more serious subject, relating the events following Stephan's release from custody, the altercation with Mavericks' partner, the eviction and Frederick's violent outburst. Christine murred and got up and moved around the table to hug Momo, who was in the middle of stuffing a huge portion of bamboo roots in her muzzle.
"Oh you poor dear, no-one should get away with hurting such a sweet thing like yourself, especially after your father so graciously welcomed my son into his home." She said, nuzzling the teenager's cheek affectionately, softly rubbing her sore bruised eye.
"Thank you miss." She squeaked, trying not to whimper in pain.
Both Stephan and Sunrise stroked her shoulder together, showing their love and support, making her coo with pleasure.
"Stephan dear, if you keep this up, you'll have yourself a companion in every household." She teased, playfully tickling his ears.
"And why shouldn't he, he's a great lay, and a good friend." Sunrise replied, winking at Momo and Stephan, who both blushed and shifted with embarrassment.
Christine giggled and nuzzled her son, tussling his hair playfully.
"Mom, please." He giggled; blushing but murred when she kiss licked his mouth.
"I can't help it sweety, you are so cute and adorable when I do that." She said, hugging him tighter.
Finally, she sat back down to continue with her meal, leaving her son to the teasing of his sister and brother.

Shortly, the meal was finished and desert was brought out, ice-cream with hot apple crumble, strawberry cheesecake, pavlova and pudding with custard.
After desert, the group made their way outside to the large mansion fairground, where Stephan and his family stood in awe at the sight before them. A stage was set up at the rear, with lights and speakers and musical instruments, outdoor and carnival games were situated about the grounds. A large pool and spa was at the side, away from all electronics. One section of the grounds, behind the stage was cordon off, with security officers.
"What's beyond there?" Sunrise asked, pointing to the blocked off area.
"That's where the fireworks are, due to safety protocols, no-one but me and personal are allow back their." Joshua replied, his arms crossed and looking sternly at the cubs.
They all nodded their heads, then Illumanati grabbed Stephan's arm and pulled him over to one of the games, a basketball court. Sunrise smiled, and then shi was grabbed by Momo and was escorted to a medium sized pond, showing the chakat the large fish within.
"What are they?" shi asked.
"Trout and salmon." She said, resting her head on Sunrises shoulder.
"Mmmmm tasty." The chakat replied, licking hir lips.
Momo just giggled, rubbing the chakat's back.
Summerbreeze and Saphire was walking through the garden, hand in hand, talking about music and games. Kandine was off playing with the other twins, throwing a Frisbee too and fro.
Joshua, Christine and Blacktail were talking about jobs and careers, as well as sexual issues, and the Humans First subjects.
The servants were preparing food snacks and drinks on long tables, with plates and forks and spoons. Then they organised the seats and towels around the pool and spa.
Nati and Stephan laughed and giggled as they tried to best each others scores, while Summerbreeze and Saphire was sitting on the grass, he was making a head band out of flowers and stalks, she was giggling and snuggling up to him, making him blush.
Momo and Sunrise had found a secluded spot, where they were busy smooching and caressing, the Panda morph's nipples were erect and she was panting as Sunrise was kneading her breasts.
They stopped when Joshua called out to the kids, especially Saphire and Kandine, too gather around the stage. Sunrise and Momo sat next to each other, like Stephan and Illumanati. Summerbreeze was sitting next to his parents, smiling at Saphire, who was wearing his flower gift. Joshua sat with his young cubs, one on each side of him, smiling up at his nephew and niece.
Then, Kandine picked up an electric guitar, walked up to the microphone and spoke.
"Family and friends, Saphire and I would love to indulge you all in song and singing, as we show you our musical talent."
Saphire was using the electronic piano, she winked at Summerbreeze, who blushed.
Kandine started a rift, which his sister followed with a piano rhythm, then he started singing a song about love and happiness, which brought tears to Nati and Stephan, as they picked up on the lyrics, and sang along with the twins.
After the applause, the twins started another song, about fun and joy, which was so catchy, the audience stood up and started dancing, and finally singing. A few left to grab some snacks or drink or both, and sat to enjoy the melody.
The next song was about losing someone close, and all was silent and sombre, as memories of those dearly departed returned, Nati, Momo, Joshua, the twins all started hugging and consoling each other, as they sung the words with feeling.
Afterwards, Saphire and Kandine had an intermission, so they can go to the toilet and grab a drink and food as well as chatting with the others.
