So it appears that the "stone cold George" is actually feeling something for once.
George and Katherine had been catching up with each other over what happened in which Katherine had gained the memories of what happened loosely. George at this point in the story was a bit numb to emotions and relationships but thanks to everything he had been up to at this point he is learning how to trust others and his feelings for the first time around. For the first time ever for someone he was developing a crush on Katherine but was too stoic to ever admit it seemingly. But on the outside George seemed to be his normal self but all this was his own internal conflict.
