#11 of Syngeneia Kathairein

You like dark fantasy, dragons, adventure and a bit of romance?

You want to see the work of a professional video game writer?

You find AI's interesting?

This story of mine has all of that! Syngeneia Kathairein puts you in the shoes of Entropion, a purple dragon tasked to ''make the world right again''. (although he is a jackass in this prequel intro!) The view is set in first person view from Entropion's POV. This story is inspired by warcraft, forgotten realms, spyro the dragon and dragon age, among other things. AIdungeon's makeup is a bit messy, but > arrows denote saying or doing something. Part of the story is AI generated, please keep that in mind.

We just have to get through this." Koriza begins crying and holds on to you tightly. "I'm really scared Enty..." she cries "Um... I can see that." You hug her "my Korizan princess, I vowed to never betray your trust in me." "Even if I die, I will die for the both of us." She hugs tighter and tighter "Please, don't ever leave me..." "I'm right here my love...." > You wanted to ask her what it means to become fully filled with negative energy, but you decide to spare her that train of thought. You wanted to ask her what it means to become fully filled with negative energy, but you decide to spare her that train of thought. You stay standing there and hold her until she calms down. You say "Koriza, I know you are strong enough to get through this. We are in great hands, rest easy." Koriza nods slowly "I hope you are right, Enty. I can't imagine a life without my friends." > You say "I need to know though, what does it mean if negative energy replaces my life force fully and makes me a lich?" Koriza breaks from the hug and looks at you piercingly. "You would cease to be you, Enty. You would be a slave to that force, and your body would march on as a shell, without joy, happiness or anything else that is unique to the living experience." Koriza looks back out to sea. "Why do you ask this?" "Because I have been pondering my future in these recent events. > You say "I am afraid I can't win battles without dark magic, Kor, but using it will doom me too!" > You say "I am afraid I can't win battles without dark magic, Kor, but using it will doom me too!" "To be honest, I expected something like this from you. Why would you even ponder such a thing?" "I care for you and the rest so much, that part of me doesn't want to see you all get hurt or die in this war. I can't imagine a day without any of you, so if it means becoming what I hate most to save your lives then I will do it." "This plan of yours is foolish. > You sigh deeply as you don't know anymore. Koriza takes her hand off yours. "You don't know what you're talking about. You don't know anything about being a slave to dark magic. You wouldn't be saving us, you'd merely be trading places with us!" "Koriza, please! I just want us all to survive the war." "Us?" "Yes! Us! You and Koriza are lovers after all.

You two want to eventually become king and queen of Korizan. You are at a loss what to do regarding dark magic. > You say "Koriza my love, what would the first purple dragon Catharsion do? What do you want me to do? " You make a joke about the first purple dragon to lighten the mood. "I don't know what the first purple dragon would do! What I do know is that I would not want to lose you! Flee if you have to but be careful with the dark magic!" > You say "I promise, Koriza. If a warrior like you rather has me fleeing than use negative energy, so be it, I will heed your wishes to not use it " Koriza hugs you. "Thank you. And it's not that I don't want to see you use dark magic, it's that I don't want to see you influenced by the darkness rather than lead it. I love you." "I love you too." > You kiss Koriza with intent of making out. Koriza moans in ecstasy as the passion and lust intensify. You two embrace for a long time. "I really love you, Enty." "I really love you too, Koriza." You two kiss passionately. You head for your bed as you still don't feel fully healthy. Koriza insists on sleeping with you and you let her. > You say "So... is Abysmalia an example of a necromancer worse off than me? She has a very sickly appearance and all she had on her mind was vengeance and violence." "Yes, Enty. That was a very brief description of her. You should ask me or Zalisi more about her if you want to know more." "I might do that. So I should expect no mercy if I ever have to fight her? I feel like she wouldn't give any." "You might be right about that. You will have to prepare yourself, should she ever confront us." "Yeah. > You say "I as her former protege didn't want to commit genocide to bring down Pezenstad, I don't think she will be happy to see me after my insubordination " "I doubt she will be thrilled. But you have me and I will be happy to see you after so long, I will be happy to see you no matter what." Koriza kisses you. > You say "We must protect the Onyx, if Abysmalia gets it we are toast. " "Rest easy, Enty. You are safe here." Koriza goes to sleep and so do you as you recover from your near death experience. The next day you wake up with a fresh mind and full spirit. You and Disarria are reading about Purperdraak Eiland. All the plants are a shade of purple there. Some say the lifeforms may be aliens but this is just speculation. This small island with singular mountain is the sanctuary of the purple dragons, with pilgrims living there to worship purple dragons like you and Disarria. You know that you, Disarria and a purple baby dragon are the only purple dragons currently on the planet that are known. > You say "Hey Dis, do you think we will be able to meet that baby purple dragon there?" "I don't see why not." "Great! I would love to meet another purple dragon for the first time since you" Disarria nods in agreement. > You say "Funny how the delusion of the black dragons makes them think Purperdraak Eiland is on their side and thus they leave it alone. " Koriza nods in agreement with you. "Purple dragon worshipers have a great sense of cunning and know that war is not always the answer." > You say "Have you gals been to Purperdraak before? I doubt your former boss Malediction would've wanted you to do your own research. " "Purperdraak? No, we've been to the other islands but never there. We just heard stories of it from other worshipers" Koriza nods in agreement. > You say "Well, I'm going for a nap, negative energy sickness has me drained already. If I could get some water and fruit delivered to my room that would be grand." Disarria nods. "I'll do it, I need to get up and stretch my legs anyway." she says. You nod and let Disarria leave as you go to get some rest. A few hours later you wake up and find that Disarria has yet to return. You notice that Zalisi is also gone, though you expect her to be in her room studying still. As you head outside, you noticed the ship is anchored and the Purperdraak island is visible in the distance. Zalisi is looking at the island. As you head outside, you noticed the ship is anchored and the Purperdraak island is visible in the distance. Zalisi is looking at the island. > You say "Hey Zal, Disarria and Koriza flown out to check the island or what? "

"Yeah they're on the island, probably doing their usual scouting around. As you approach, your keen eyes see something in the distance. "Zal? Something is coming out to meet us over there." Disarria returns, looking worried. She tells you the island is being overrun by the living dead! You ask her where Koriza is and she says she already went to go fight them on the island. >you say: Zal, Dis? I am going to fight. Disarria will join me and Zalisi will take care of the ship. That fine by you? You all prepare to leave. Zalisi says to Disarria "I'll be watching over the ship, don't worry." Zalisi is a bit concerned. "Are you sure? They're pretty strong and there are a lot of them." You nod at Zalisi. "I think I can manage, thanks though." You say waving at her. She nods and waves as you leave. Disarria guides you to a small, fortified town and you meet up with Koriza. The situation is dire, there really isn't a military here except for civilian militia. The horde has been zombies, skeletons and ghouls. You all agree to meet up with the militia inside the town's fort and take back the town street by street. > You say "Koriza, what the hell is going on?! I thought the black dragons wouldn't harm this island!" Koriza frowns. "I don't know, maybe some blacks went rogue?" You grit your teeth and say "Well we can't let them get away with this." Koriza nods. The plan is to regroup with the militia then head to the town hall and wipe out the necromancers there, which should kill most of the zombies. You all head down a narrow street and soon come across a large group of zombies. > You use your corrosive gas attack. You release a blast of acid gas from your mouth, melting a group of zombies. You can't do that again for a while though, your throat hurts from the strain of doing that. You and Koriza cut down the rest of the zombies with ease. You reach the town hall and start fighting through the zombies outside. You get inside the town hall after killing many, many zombies. > You switch to your frost element and use your innate frost magic for attacking the Necromancers inside. You raise your hands and begin to channel frost energy into your body. You then release it from your hands, freezing the necromancers in place. "Quickly, kill them while they're frozen!" You exclaim. The group begins attacking the necromancers and succeed in killing all but one who runs away. As a last resort, the Necromancer releases a burst of dark energy in an attempt to kill you all. > You use your own dark abilities to redirect the dark blast right back! You focus and manage to turn the dark energy back onto the Necromancer, killing him instantly. You all begin cheering. "We did it!" You exclaim. "Now to round up the rest of the necromancers" Koriza says grimly. You all head back out only to find many dead bodies littering the streets. > You say "Koriza, make sure the dead are cremated so they won't rise again, I and Disarria will press on to assault the next town!" Disarria gives you a look then nods. You and her fly off to the next town. "Honestly, all you care about is fighting, I hope you know that saving lives is just as important" Disarria says angrily. > You say "Shut the hell up, this is not the time!" You get into a row with Disarria, she begins shouting about how you don't care about the innocent and how you just want to murder and fight. "Fuck off!" You yell. Disarria is enraged by this remark and blast you with her frost magic, hitting you in the face and freezing your head to a tree. "Disarria! What the hell!?" Koriza cries. Koriza helps you out and commands Disarria to stay here instead, soon you and Koriza are flying to the next town: purperberg. It is eerily quiet as you get closer to the town, it's almost as if something was preying on all the life here. You press on and encounter a massive horde of undead giants. This must be what was preying on the life here... Koriza looks anxious "Enty, there is no way we can take these on!" Koriza is the military expert here so you trust her judgment. But you also don't want to back down from a fight. > You say "Kor, what if these death giants reach further inland?

Sure that would mean genocide!" Koriza nods, this is a damned if you do, damned if you don't situation. You decide your promise to Koriza must be broken. You use the lay stone to teleport back to the ship. You ignore Zalisi completely as you strap the Onyx of onslaught to your back to supercharge your dark magic. Soon you are back at the first town, Purperveld, and the death giants are visible on the horizon, approaching. You meet up with Disarria and she spots the Onyx, afraid of the side effects if you go through with this plan! "NO! Don't do this, you will become nothing but a mindless killer if that relic takes over." You turn with a furious look "I AM ALREADY A FUCKING MURDERER!" You yell at her. "I love you Disarria" "I love you too Enty" You say as your friend runs off to prepare the town's defenses. High above purperveld, the undead giants begin throwing their boulders at the town. > You wonder if the Onyx will corrupt and empower non dark magic too... you fly up and harness both your Ice magic and the dark onyx's power while aiming at a death giant. You quickly fly up, and cast a flurry of frost bolts, but this is just the Onyx's magic affecting yours. The frost bolts become dark iced crystal which rips through the death giant's flesh. The creature does not die instantly, but is out of commission for now. > You fly over the town and cast Necromantic energy which the Onyx amplifies. The remaining corpses of the civilians rise and the fresh zombies attack the death giants. You fly low over the town. You raise your hands and cast a ray of dark energy on the Death giants who seem pretty confused to find fresh corpses attacking them. The death giants are too large to aim for vitals so you concentrate on their heads, bringing them down from their large height advantage besides. The death giant's boulders miss the zombies now ganging up on their foes and they in turn bring down two more giants with concentrated effort. Attack averted, for now. You relinquish the zombies you made so they have free will. Disarria approaches you worried. Purperkust is ill with a weird disease! Disarria is worried the negative energy of the Onyx will make you more sick than before. > You say "No price too great, Dis. I will happily become a lich if it means saving this island!" You are serious but Disarria just rolls her eyes. The Dark Onyx is very powerful, you accept this reality and just as you do so the gem glows a dull purple. You feel a a cold throbbing sensation coming from the gem. You grasp it tightly. The throbbing stops after a few seconds but your palm continues to feel a cold throbbing sensation. Disarria notices your pain and asks if you are okay. > You say "Yes, this is my misery to bear. Let us fly to purperkust, Dis." The sun has set by the time you near purperkust. The moon is a big crescent, looking like a blade cutting down at purperkust. Purperkust looks very different during the day but it never loses its charm. The town's architecture is an intriguing mix of mushrooms and purple wood, giving a fairy-tale look to it all. You circle around to the front of the town hall where Koriza stands, waiting for you both. You say: Glad you could make it, Koriza. :Koriza , aware you broke the promise as she spot the onyx, says:Watch your tone with me, boy. You may be a purple but I'm still your superior as a commander. You say: As if I could forget. Listen, Koriza, there's something about the plague you should know. Oh no. It's too late. These people have all been infected. They may look fine now, but it's a matter of time before they turn into the undead. Koriza says: What? You say: this entire city must be purged. Koriza says:How can you even consider that? There's got to be some other way! You say :damn it, Koriza As your future king, I order you to purge this city. Koriza says:You are not my king yet, Ent Nor would I obey that command if you were! You say:Then I must consider this an act of treason. Koriza says:Treason? Have you lost your mind, Entropion? You say: Have I? Koriza, by my right of succession and sovereignty of my purple scales, I hereby relieve you from your command and suspend your soldiers from service. Disarria says: Entropion you can't just... You say: It's done!

Those of you who have the will to save this land, follow me. The rest of you... get out of my sight. Koriza leaves and says: You've just crossed a terrible threshold, Entropion. You say: Disarria? Disarria leaves and says: I'm sorry, Entropion. I can't watch you do this. > You and a group of soldiers March toward the front gate, ready to execute your terrible mission. You and the group of soldiers march towards the

gate, ready to execute your terrible mission. You arrive at the giant fortress gate. You tell some of your soldiers to climb up and open the gate. You tell the rest to wait. After a couple of minutes, the gate opens. A small female dragon walks out, with a few soldiers following close behind. She stares at you in silence. > You start the purge and attack this unknown dragoness with killing intent. You leap forward and unleash a torrent of gas at the small dragoness. She leaps backward. Your soldiers fire several arrows at her which all end up lodged in her thick bones. You roar loudly, and the small dragoness roars back, revealing that she clearly wasn't afraid of you. You order your soldiers to attack the little dragon as you begin to walk towards her slowly, gas building in your mouth. > You slay the dragoness with a corrosive gas attack. You unleash a powerful blast of gas mixed with acid at the dragoness. She tries to dodge the attack but fails, and ends up partially dissolving. You walk over to her and finish her off with a powerful stomp to her skull. You and your soldiers enter the city, the civilians are shocked a purple dragon, that they worship, just killed one of their own! A few civilians are obviously I'll with undead plague. > You and your soldiers start murdering the civilians. No mercy, kill them all. You and your soldiers begin massacring the civilians, they screech in terror and pain. You are merciless and leave none alive, soon the smell of fresh blood fills the air. You enter one of the many houses and see a small female dragon huddled against the wall, trembling. Her eyes are filled with fear. She lets out a piteous mewl. > You twist her neck, dispatch her. You approach the dragon, she holds up her arms defensively but you easily push them aside and grab her neck. You twist, breaking her neck. You dispatch her by repeatedly punching through her abdomen to kill her innards. The other soldiers watch and nod in approval at your ruthlessness. Some civilians have turned into zombies due the plague! > You command your soldiers to spread out and purge anyone they see, dead or alive. You order your soldiers to spread out and kill anything they see. "Spare none, not even infants or the disabled!" You shout. They obey and begin slaughtering the civilians. You personally enter one of the plague houses and find a small dragon child cowering in fear in his bed. His eyes are filled with tears as he begs you for mercy. He's so young and innocent, surely you won't kill him? > You kill him quickly, the plague must be culled and never be allowed to spread. You pick up the child and slit his throat, he lets out a piteous squeal.

He was so young and innocent. You will have to kill everyone, these culls have to be done to ensure the survival of the future generations of man and dragon kin Soon the town is silent once more, all the lives have been destroyed! You feel no guilt, the negative energy cemented its hold on you. All the soldiers have gathered for their next order. "The town is to be burned, it will no longer pollute our futures with its plague." Your order. The soldiers break into houses and begin setting them on fire. You watch as the town is engulfed in smoke and flames. Soon the entire town is burning and you feel a certain level of contentment. This will make things better for all lifeforms in the future. > You realize the soldiers are likely contaminated themselves. You draw power from the Onyx and lash out with all the malice you have to kill them with dark magic. You turn to the nearest soldier and hold him still with dark magic. His eyes are filled with horror as you drain his life force He dies as his skin blackens and he decays in front of you. "Infected! They are all infected, they will kill us all!" You shriek at the top of your lungs, drawing power from the Onyx to enhance your voice. The soldiers are filled with terror and run around trying to escape. > You hunt them down one by one, this town of Purperkust will see nobody but you exit alive. You hunt down the soldiers, one by one. They run and you are faster, stronger and filled with malice. You relish in their terror and pain. You kill them all, they are nothing before you. You feel like a God, purging the world of those who oppose you. Purperkust is no more. You have ensured the survival of the next generation. This necessity came at a enormous cost, a dark necessity but a necessity nonetheless. You are the last one left, you survived against all odds. But you know you have work to do. You need to carve out a new legacy for yourself, to ensure the safety of future generations. You will carve your name in history, no matter what it takes. The temple on top the mountain is your destination. This is where the Necromancers have set up their headquarters. > You don't care how tired you are or how late it is. You can rest when this is done. You fly in a straight line to Purpertempel. You soar above the clouds, above the sky, above the world. The song of the Onyx Dragon hums through your mind as you fly like lightning to Purpertempel. You see the burg in the distance and descend upon it. Purpertempel is the holiest of holy for your rare breed of dragon. The mecca of the purple dragon.

You land on the temple roof to plot your next move, as expected, the necromancer forces are thin and depleted due your busywork with Disarria and Koriza. You don't want to damage an eons old temple and head in by the door. Blood sigils and barriers with black and purple fire adorn the place. On a throne a smiling Abysmalia greets you! "Thank you for coming" she says sarcastically. Abysmalia is obviously at fault for the undead invasion of Purperdraak Island. > You say "I should've let the other black dragons molest and murder you, then you couldn't have done this. No good deed goes unpunished I suppose." "Hahaha, good thing your mother never heard you speak like that, she would be so disappointed in you" You give her a cold stare. "Yeah, now drop the act. There is no way a stupid cunt like you could've tricked my mother. Abysmalia hops off her throne and circled you, giving you a perverted look. She says "I am proud of you, my student. I saw you cull that town. You even got the Onslaught Onyx! How about you betray Koriza and impregnate me? Our dark spa-" you cut her off, disgusted this emaciated, sickly skeleton of a black dragon tries to seduce you. > You say "Hell to the fuck no! Ew! As if I will leave Koriza for a gagworthy hag like you!" "Whelp, I tried" she shrugs. "You're just as stubborn as your mother, you know that?" "I'm nothing like her!" you cry. "No, you aren't. You're much more than she could ever be..." Abysmalia smiles and touches your arm with a bony talon. "But you are not as strong as me." She closes the gap and kisses you aggressively. You pull away. "Get off!" > You say "If you want the Onyx or the island, you will have to take them from me, bitch! Even Redsamuru is too good for you!" Abysmalia is livid! She says: "I've had it with your insolence! I will control Syngeneia and carry you brood, even if I have to rape you empty!" She attacks! Boss battle vs Abysmalia the dragon necromancer starts. > You dodge Abysmalia's charge. With unnatural speed you dodge Abysmalia's charge. She hits the wall and snarls. She conjures a fireball and hurls it at you. You teleport behind her and scratch at her eyes. She roars in pain and smacks you with her wing, sending you into the wall. "I will kill you!" she cries, inching closer to you. You jump up and rush at her, slashing your claws. A long, grueling battle ensued. Abysmalia held her own against you and the Onyx due her superior skill in necromancy. In the end it did not matter. As purple dragon your hatred burned brighter than the sun! Abysmalia is defeated. You have your paw on her forehead and are about to blast her with the final blow of negative energy. She is not afraid and smiles as she speaks "kill me. "Hero" become like me. Complete your training!" This notion frightens you. > You say "No, you will not control me any longer, Abysmalia!" You drag Abysmalia by her horn, over the floor.

You exit the temple and you trip over something! A cage falls and traps you and Abysmalia. Koriza and Disarria soon stand in front of you, they set up the trap! Koriza says: "sorry, Ent. Do not mistake our inaction at purperkust for permission. The Onyx corrupted you too far!" Disarria continues "you only stopped one of the monsters, we are here to stop the second" she means you. Koriza tells Disarria to "do it" soon Disarria freezes you and Abysmalia fully. Alive, but suspended. You and Abysmalia wake up in the dreamscape. You are in coma due the freezing. It looks like purple nebulae with suspended islands floating everywhere. You and Abysmalia woke up on a small plains like island. Abysmalia got no idea where you are but you recognize the dream realm. You are not leaving this place anytime soon so you decide to make peace with Abysmalia for now. > You say "Hey, Abysmalia, we are in dreamscape. Until we thaw out we are stuck here." Abysmalia blames you for this predicament "if you just teamed up with me we wouldn't get caught" you reply "this is your fault for wanting to trick me in the first place". You and Abysmalia get into a huge fight. Lots of insults are traded. Soon you both realize that this island seems to be getting smaller! It is indeed getting smaller as you notice clouds rapidly approaching you. Soon you realize that you can't escape this place and must put aside your differences. Things will get much worse if you don't escape. > You say "Abby, you can't die in dreamscape but your mind certainly can get damaged " Abysmalia complains about you calling her Abby, but you ignore her. You fly off the shrinking island towards another floating island. You end up on a big island nearby. This island is lush with grass and trees. You realize you are starving to death so you decide to eat. The grass tastes like crap but you feel full after finishing off a bunch of it. Abysmalia complains about eating the grass "we dragons shouldn't eat this stuff it will damage our internal organs!" you ignore her and fly down to some trees to eat some fruit. The apples taste great but the pear tastes like crap. > You say "It's all mind trickery anyway. Pretend it tastes good and it will. " "Right on!" says a nearby voice. You turn around and notice a small human child. The kid is only ten years old at most. He is pale skinned, short, and chubby. He also looks quite sickly. "Hey are you an alien?" The kid asks whilst ignoring your previous comment. > You say "I am Entropion and this here is my unwelcome companion Abysmalia. " "I am Malakar Master of the Universe and ruler of all!" says the kid. "And this here is my pet giant slug Gruzub. Say hello Gruzub." You see a big slimy greenish purple slug near the kid's feet. > You say "Hello Gruzub. Welcome to dreamscape." Gruzub the giant slug looks at you and telepathically says "You should be honored I spoke to you first out of everyone in this tower.

I am a very important slug." Abysmalia has no patience for silly dream stuff! She snarls: yeah stick that Gruzub where the sun don't shine and fuck off will you tubby boy?" You know Abysmalia made a grand error. Nothing here is normal or what it seems. "You bitch! You made my Gruzub cry! You will die!" yells the kid. "Ha ha! Run human run!" laughs Abysmalia. Abysmalia's comeuppance is about to be delivered as the kid's head turns into a naval cannon aiming at Abysmalia! You urge Abysmalia to apologize. "Hey slug, I am sorry I called you fat." says Abysmalia. "Too late!" exclaims the kid as he fires a cannon blast at Abysmalia. The cannonball hits the ground next to her feet. A big hole is blown in the ground and debris hit her left wing. A large black scale drops out of her angelic white wings. "Hey that was not cool slug breath!" > You say "Abby come on, say sorry like you mean it. You I insulted his Gruzub." "Yeah I know, he is a very important creature. My bad Slug Breath." The slug seems appeased. The kid on the other hand looks very angry. "Now my pet is upset! You made my pet sad!" "Um... I am sorry?" "You hurt my Gruzub's feelings! Now you will pay!" exclaims the kid as Gruzub's body rotates and two more cannons pop out. "Say goodnight! > You say "Hey uh, kid? Abby is a cunt and I am training her to be nice. Could you please not shoot her? I will be your friend!" "NO! Gruzub will never be friends with a pathetic fatso like you!" You swear the kid is aiming for you on purpose now. You flinch and get out of the way of the cannon fire but unfortunately, one stray ball hits Abysmalia in the head. Blood splatters everywhere and the last thing you see is her body flying towards you before getting hit in the face with the corpse. You and Abysmalia wake up fully intact on another floating island in a random location... You look over at Abysmalia, smug and sarcastically you speak "oh the great and powerful dracolich Abysmalia died because she could not be nice to a child in a realm of dreams and chaos" "Fuck you idiot. I would not have died if you did not let me get hit by a cannon to begin with." "Shut up bitch I was trying to mediate!" you yell back. Suddenly you hear a third voice "ah how cute young adult dragons trying to act like adults before they are ready." The voice is coming from directly behind you on the island... You and Abysmalia both quickly turn around to see who is speaking. Behind you stands a very tall, very thin, cadaverous man.

His skin is pallid and his hair and beard are snow white. You give Abysmalia a dirty look as if to urge her to behave. You speak "greetings. I am sorry for the bad look my companion gives me. She has personality deficit" The man laughs and sarcastically responds "oh no worries at all, I am not easily offended. However, you both should be apologizing to me, not the other way around." "Apologize to you? For what?" "Why for waking me of course. I was having such a lovely dream about bathing in the blood of my many enemies when you both rudely awoke me." The pallid man begins to get angry. > You say "Kind sir, you are in dreamscape still. Are you saying there are layers of dreaming? " "Yes, of course there are layers of dreaming fool. Down, down we go into the very depths of madness and depravity." "How many layers are there?" "Quite a few, I do not know the exact amount, nobody does! Not even me!" The man is getting exasperated. You appear to have asked the wrong questions and tense the situation even more. > You say "We shall take our leave, we won't trespass on your island any longer." "Yes get the fuck off of my island! Now!" The pallid man begins to yell as you take flight and fly away from his island. You and Abysmalia scout for a new island floating in the void to explore. Abysmalia decides to take a petty jab "very productive! Haha" "Fuck off, I know you would have done the same thing and get killed again. Now let's look for a new island." The pair of you fly through the void in search of new adventures... Abysmalia chooses an island, you agree, but more so to keep her in line. You both land on the island and begin to walk around. The island itself is fairly small, flat and has a lot of trees and greenery. There is a cool breeze and the sun's rays shine through the trees and plants slightly warming your scales. A beautiful sight for a beautiful day. The pair of you begin to explore the island together, tolerating each-others company. You begin to open up to her about yourself and your past. Your parents. > You say "Hey Abby, you taunted me with my parents at Purpertempel Did you know I am orphaned or was it just a standard insult? " "Oh that? Nah I actually didn't know. I taunted you with your parents because it's one of the only things I know about you, I was trying to get under your skin because..." "Because what?" There is a rather long pause and you look at her as she looks down and blushes. "Could it be... Jealousy?" She stays silent and doesn't answer but the answer is written all over her face. > You say "Your folks were abusive? Pezenstad doesn't seem like a conductive place to raise a family." Abysmalia nods, looking away from you to hide a tear. "Shut up you cretin." She doesn't trust you yet. > You say "We all have things we'd rather forget. It's okay if you aren't comfortable discussing some subjects." You ditch the conversation, you tell Abysmalia that you got an idea. "When I and Koriza want to talk to the spirits, we drink powerful sleep potions, so that old geezer was right. My theory is that the more chaotic it gets, the closer we are to an instability to go deeper.

Deeper levels have a stronger grip on the mind and thus the consequences if things go bad. It's dangerous but we both like knowledge, don't we?" Abysmalia agrees on the knowledge part. You and Abysmalia explore dreamscape, looking for weirdness. After 15 minutes you find a small grove of trees that looks very strange, shimmering in and out of existence. You and Abysmalia stare at it for 10 minutes before anything happens. You both hear a small wind chime sound and both feel an urge to go towards the grove of shimmering trees. > You say "Hey, Abysmalia, this may lead go a deeper dreamscape level. Stuff may get freaky as spiritualism will overlap more and more the deeper we go. " "That's okay" Abysmalia says with a shrug. As you approach the grove, you find yourself reaching the boundary of the grove much faster than you thought was possible, and for some reason, you are not worried, just accepting. You find yourself in a white place with two doors. One door has a sign on it that reads "Pleasure". The other door has a sign that reads "Pain". > You say "Trickery is your expertise, eugh... which door?" "Pleasure and pain? The only real pleasure we can experience is knowledge and the only pain we should experience is a state of lack of knowledge, so knowledge it is." You open the door to experience pleasure... But you, unfortunately, do not find pleasure. You find yourself in a very large library. You see a man sitting at a table. He appears to be reading a book. You look around and realize that the library is ancient. > You say "Remember Abysmalia, nothing in dreamscape is what it seems. Behave. Please?" "I'll try, but I make no promises." You walk over towards the man and realize that he is a ghost. He looks up at you and says "Hello. Please, look around or ask me questions. I have been here for... God, I don't know how long. Centuries, certainly. There are books older than me here. It's quiet here, but I get visitors from time to time." > You say "It is refreshing to see someone welcoming, I am Entropion and this is Abysmalia, a war criminal." The ghost smiles and says "How nice, a visiting couple. I have so few visitors nowadays. The university students used to be in here all the time researching, but they stopped coming years ago." You sense that you can ask the ghost questions or look around the library. You gag when he said "couple" and you correct him "this witch here, Abysmalia, is a disgrace. She got us stuck in dreamscape. About that, are we in the spiritual layers as you are a ghost?" He nods and you continue "What do you know of how to get out?" He says "Sadly, not much. I can't leave this library at all. Your friend there has powers that are slightly stronger than mine as her soul still lingers in her body. That means she can interact with the physical world while you cannot.

I suspect she will be able to figure a way out of here." You hear a loud rumble followed by a strong wind. > You say "That sounds like instability, dear old ghost host, what is the least stable part of this library's reality?" The ghost laughs and says "My reality is fine, young dragon. The least stable place here is the physical world. In fact, I predict a storm coming that will tear open the barrier between here and there. It will be quite the event." You worry about the safety of your body and ask him more about it. "The barrier between our world and the physical one will shatter under the strain of this storm. Sarcastically you "say great. More stuff for the purple dragon to solve " Sarcastically you "say great. More stuff for the purple dragon to solve " The ghost laughs, then says "I wish I could help you, but I'm afraid my time here is at an end. Perhaps someone else can help you." The ghost laughs and says "I wouldn't worry about it." You don't reply and sit down not knowing what else to do. The ghost continues to stand as you are. You sense that he is able to walk through the library stacks but chooses not to for some reason. Abysmalia calls out to you "leave the old fart and come here, I found a weird closet" You walk over to the corner of the room and find a small wooden door. You're not sure if it's a cupboard, a secret tunnel, or something else. "Open it" the ghost says suddenly. You open the door and bright light floods out blinding you. You fall back away from the door as a figure steps out. He wears gleaming full-plate armor and carries a large sword. His face is stern and his eyes are dark. You can't see anymore. You have died of natural causes. > You look at figure. The armored figure is over seven feet tall and covered from head to toe in gleaming plate armor. The only parts of his body not covered in metal are his hands, which are covered by gauntlets, and his face, which is obscured by an ornate helmet with a roaring lion on the front. His boots appear to be made of leather and reach up to his knees. > You say "Hey uh, are you an acquaintance of the old man?" The armored figure stares at you with steely eyes. He says nothing as you hear him draw his sword from its scabbard. > You dive in the weird closet the figure came out of. Hoping it is a gateway. You dive into the small wooden door and fall up rather than forward. You find yourself in a room with no memory of how you got here. The room is sparsely decorated with a large bed, desk and wardrobe. You notice another door out of the room, but it slams shut as you approach it. You notice that there is a full length mirror on the wardrobe and wonder if this is your room. > You say "Hey, Abysmalia, how are you holding up? This too weird for you?" You call out and hear a strange sound. Something between a chuckle and a wheeze. It sounds almost... mechanical. You look around but see no source for the noise. Then you notice your reflection in the mirror.

You hardly recognize the creature that looks back at you. It is emaciated, with dark circles under its staring eyes and thin strands of white hair plastered to its pale scalp. > You say "Uh oh, is that the blood loving geezer who shood us off his island?!" > You say "Uh oh, is that the blood loving geezer who shood us off his island?!" The sound you heard earlier laughs. It's coming from behind the mirror. You press your ear up against it to try to hear more clearly, when the door slams open behind you. Inside is the armored man you saw minutes before. He brandishes a sword and charges towards you. The figure in the mirror laughs at you in a way that chills you to your core. "Who are you?" You ask nervously. "Meh, I have gone by many names." The thing says... or at least you assume it is still the mirror talking and not some other presence. > You concentrate your mind to turn the man's sword into harmless pillows. This is dreamscape after all. The man screams in agony as the sword morphs in front of your eyes into a stuffed pink pillow. You shriek and hold your hands over your eyes. "Meh, I have gone by many names." The sound that came out of that man's mouth was not a human one. More like... bestial. "Who are you?!" You demand, panic in your voice. "Meh, who am I?" The thing in the mirror repeats. > You push the armored man towards the mirror. You feel the two men belong together as a whole. You push the armored man and he falls through the mirror. The sound coming from the mirror stops immediately and the armored man stands up. "What happened? Did I fall?" He asks, dazed. "Yeah... are you okay?" You say, equally as dazed. "Oh yeah... thanks kid. You helped me out big time." He says, extending his hand to help you up. "Who are you?" You ask, accepting his help up. "Meh, I have gone by many names." He says in the same monotone voice you heard from the mirror. > You say "We need to go deeper, me and my friend Abysmalia here. Deeper... help please?" "What?" He asks, confused. "We need to go deeper... help please... meh, he says. "I'm not sure what you mean." The armored man says. "Sigh... I hate this, he is really messing with my mind..." You say, before turning towards the armored man. "We need to go deeper... into the dream, into the weird. Next level. Deeper. The figure tells you that the deeper levels of dreamscape are through the mirror, you take a pineapple left and 3 gubernatorial votes right. The directions make no sense, but as long you believe them they will happen. You turn towards the mirror. Through it is a large, 200-person conference room with long oak tables and red leather chairs.

On each chair is a person, sitting still, in what appears to be a trance. "These people... are they asleep?" You ask. "Yeah... that's what happens." The armored man says, before walking through the mirror himself. Abysmalia points to one of the people on trance, she says that is the one with the door in his ring finger. When you ask how, she says she feels it. You don't have a reason to distrust her, so you head over to the person she pointed out. You walk up to the person and place your hand on his shoulder. "Hey, wake up." You say. Nothing. You nudge him again, still no response. "Maybe it's because of this helmet that I can't wake him?" You ask your group. You remove the helmet from his head, only his head falls off as well. Abysmalia sighs and shakes her head as she fidgets with this man's hand. A small door opens and it sucks you inside. You are getting deeper into dreamscape. You are teleported to a slum like building. This seems to be a memory of someone! Abysmalia seems worried and says "No. I don't want to see this" you feel a doom and gloom mood fill you. Soon your view of the memory changes. A very young black dragoness is playing with wooden toys, two figures. A blue dragoness brings food to a male black dragon. Abysmalia bites her lip and turns away "Entropion, I don't want to see this. Pull us out" you can feel Abysmalia is genuinely afraid, but you can't help. You must endure this memory. The black dragon male shouts at his blue dragoness spouse: "you made the food wrong again! Stupid bitch!" The blue dragoness pleads for mercy but soon the unmistakable sounds of domestic violence can be heard. The young black dragoness hides under the couch. Abysmalia covers her head with her wings. You understand what this is, this is Abysmalia's childhood memory. You can't say anything but you feel so bad for her. You feel your heart wrenching as you see the little black girl weep. The black dragon male shouts "Spin on the spot you lazy cow!" and kicks her. Soon the wife begins to hit her as well. The little girl's toy wooden horse falls near you. The young black dragoness retreats to her room, bruised and battered. The black dragon raises his voice at the blue dragoness again: "It is your fault Abysmalia is such a useless runt! Your corruption made her an Onyx dragon! You do not deserve my seed!" More beatings are heard, but the pleas for mercy fall silent. Abysmalia's mother is battered dead. The next memories are just snippets. They show Abysmalia growing into an anxious, hateful teen who began focusing her negativity on studying magic. A budding necromancer was born. You watch as the father discovered her endeavors. He grins sadistically as he grabs his daughter by her neck and lifts her up. She's dead after a few minutes. The father spits on her dead body and says "Weakling. You never deserved to live". You feel a pang of sadness, guilt, regret, empathy, fear. She was not dead, Abysmalia smiles back, showing off all her teeth in her psychotic rage.

Years of abuse made her this way! She casts dark magic and soon the father lies on the ground, gripped by skeletal arms that sprouted from below. Abysmalia in the memory says "I am going to enjoy torturing you, you son of a bitch. You will have the mercy you gave mother!" A gruesome torture scene follows. Eventually, a lifeless corpse with a gruesome Glasgow smile is all that remains of the father. The last memory shows how Abysmalia ran with the terroristic bandits in Pezenstad, and how she met you: you saving her from imminent rape. All goes black, then a purple nebula. A network of orbs connected by strands as far you and Abysmalia can see while floating in the Void. Abysmalia is still covering her head with her wings. You say "your memories are over and shown, you can come out" Abysmalia slowly starts uncovering her head. She says "I did not want you to see that" You say "I am sorry if I involuntarily triggered any bad memories. I just wanted answers about this place" She says "I am surprised you were able to endure my memories without collapsing. Most others do." "I am a strong willed dragon" you reply, with a smile. She laughs and says "Indeed" > You say "Abby, I promise your secrets are safe with me." She says "really? are you sure?" "I am a strong willed dragon" you reply, with a smile. She laughs and says "Indeed" You say "Abby, I promise your secrets are safe with me." She makes eye contact, nods, then hugs you tight. > You say "Abby, I promise your secrets are safe with me." She makes eye contact, nods, then hugs you tight. You hug her back "I promise I'm not going to leave your side" you say. "You literally can't" she replies Abysmalia tells you that this doesn't make you friends, although she seems less cold and mean. > You say "Why so frigid, Abby? Is it to survive Pezenstad? Is that why you don't let me past the walls you've built around your feelings?" Abysmalia looks at you with a serious face, and says "I'm just not ready to talk about it. I will one day, but I'm not there yet. > You say "Tell me this instead then, why do you think blatant terrorism will solve anything?" She seems relieved that you are changing the subject "It won't solve anything, but unfortunately there is not much we can do. > You say "And you consider civilian deaths an acceptable sacrifice to fuel your necromancy?" She shakes her head in dismay "I wish it was that simple. The death of innocents is tragic, and I curse the fiends who do nothing but massacre and bring death to the world. But we need a lot of power" You sit there speechless "And you think raising an undead army will stop this? Will killing millions more bring your loved ones back?" "No" she says, her head dropping low. "It won't."

She sits there in silence for a few minutes, and you just sit there, contemplating the morality of what it is to be a hero, a good guy, an angel even. > You say "Let's continue our quest, Abby. These orbs are memories. I reckon we can go deeper into dreamscape if we find a special one?" "Yes, I think that sounds logical." All the orbs have random memories of random people... but one stands out, you feel this orb is familiar. It is black. You approach it. You enter the orb. You and Abysmalia are looking at a house. You recognize the area and house as the EFPL's lands. Soon a squad of slave militiamen and a black dragon surround the house. The black dragon yells to surrender the purple dragon whelp this instant. Your face pales. "This is how I was stolen from my home isn't it?" You ask Abysmalia. She nods slowly, biting her lip. The militia breaks down the door with a battering ram, and people scream inside. There's a small explosion. Someone let off a firebomb. Soon the house is burning. People are screaming, a white dragon, presumably your mother, shouts for people to help put out the flames, the militiamen continue their search for you. Your father, a yellow dragon, guards a infant you and snarls at the attackers "I am done fleeing! You will not have my son!" Both your parents were murdered promptly and you were taken. You look at Abysmalia and say "yeah that stinks, part of me hopes they were alive" Soon everything goes black again. When it clears up you are in a flower field with a single tree. You instantly recognize the place and happily exclaim "this is Korisana's pocket of the spirit world! She is Koriza's dead sister" A voice, Koriza's voice replies "yes, it is. I am also dead here. I died a few years before you were born actually" You look around but see nobody. You ask "where are you?" Korisana materializes from seemingly nowhere. She smiles at you "I am all around you silly" Flowers, leaves, wind, sun... all things that make up the beauty of this place are her. You blush and avert your eyes. Korisana is surprised you didn't come with Koriza but Abysmalia. You explain your comatose predicament. Abysmalia has heard about Korisana's fate, it is a popular tale in resistances all over Syngeneia. She frowns and says "just like me and Ent here, you got wronged by the black dragons and instead doing something about it you frolicked in a flower garden?" Korisana knows of Abysmalia's ruthless and sadistic nature. Korisana says "well, I don't really like to dwell on the past. you have been brought here for a reason" She is right. > You say "Yes Korisana, we want to reach the deepest of dreamscape, beyond Catharsion's handcrafted realm." Korisana shakes her head and disagrees with your plan, but she has no intentions of stopping you. "It is up to Catharsion, his realm is the last haven of safety"

Abysmalia rolls her eyes. Korisana is overreacting according to Abysmalia. In any case, you are determined to meet Catharsion again. Korisana leads the way, and you follow her... Korisana casts a spell on the tree and a purple vortex on the floor replaces it. You look at Korisana and she snickers as she read your mind. She nods "do it, pffft." You firmly kick Abysmalia into the vortex portal and say "rude witches first!" The vortex leads into a long, purple hallway with doors at the end of it. You take a breath and step into the first door to your left. After entering the room, you see Catharsion cuddling with a dozen or so concubines. He spots you and they poof into smoke. Catharsion snarls at you "why is your timing always so bad?!" Abysmalia sarcastically states "charming." You snicker. Catharsion, the first purple dragon, is not amused. He seems to be more powerful than ever, yet he retains his childishness. Catharsion can sense the darkness is your soul, and also in Abysmalia's soul. He disagrees with your idea to go deeper into dreamscape. He says "you'll go insane. You need to harness the light to protect yourself" you don't know light magic. Abysmalia shakes her head "the light abandoned you in your time of need. It is weak, he needs more dark power!" Catharsion gets angry at Abysmalia for her insolence. You got into this mess because of your dark powers! > You say "Abysmalia, shut up, you teaching me dark magics got me corrupted in the first place." Catharsion look at you disappointed "you have free will and responsibility. Abysmalia's temptations and trickeries shouldn't have led you astray" You sigh and nod. "All I can do is my best." Catharsion does want to help you reach deeper into dreamscape. He wants to teach you light magic so you can harness positive energy. Catharsion approaches you and puts his index finger on your forehead "I am willing to nudge you in the right direction" you feel your inner light grow. Your worries and anger seem calmer. You're not fully healed but it is a start. You nod to thank him. He nods back and commands you to go train with the light in his realm. You walk ahead, on the gray grassy plain, towards the tower. The metal gate is wide open. You step into the room with the large pit on the floor. You walk across the wood plank and jump down into the pit. Abysmalia follows you. You arrive on a floating island with purple foliage not unlike Purperdraak island. You see a large brutish figure with animal like features and black armor. His armor is horned, features a dragon design and has a large axe by his side. You also see what looks to be an elf woman wearing leaf clothing, she is also carrying a bow. The elf¢??s face is calm but her eyes show distress.

As you look around you see hundreds of these large brutish creatures spread out on the floating islands, ready to fire at you. > You say "Abysmalia, is this a light magic test I have to solve?" Abysmalia nods "good luck. That weak positive garbage will fail you" you look at the beasts. They seem to be Gorgors, demons who occupy dead bodies and use them as armor. You think carefully about your next move... > You attempt to cast light magic. You begin to channel the light magic, and you see the gorgors backs split open as their wings pop out. They begin to hover around you. You smile knowing that you have completed the test. As you revel in your success three dark magic spells hit you in the back. You scream in pain as your flesh is burned off slowly. You attempt to stand but fall over as your legs are broken. You and Abysmalia reappear on another island, intact. Abysmalia gives you a smug grin and says "light magic is weak, it uses empathy, hope and other such nonsense" You shake your head in dismay, and try to convince Abysmalia that there are benefits to light magic but she wont listen. You and Abysmalia reappear on another island, intact. Abysmalia gives you a smug grin and says "light magic is weak, it uses empathy, hope and other such nonsense" Soon a group of possessed looking humans appear around you. This is another test, you are to exorcise the bad spirits with light magic. > You try to focus on your positive energy and cast holy magic. You focus on helping these possessed people. You try to ignore the pain and use your holy light. The light begins to destroy the spirits, but you also feel it destroying part of your soul. As the exorcise continues you begin to fall unconscious and the spirits destroy more of your soul, until finally you die, with only hate, anger and a few slivers of light within your soul. The spirits leave your body as it collapses. You have failed the test. You reappear on another island with Abysmalia. Abysmalia groans "just do it right you useless oaf" she wants to progress your travels. > You say "Well you are not helping, I don't even know what I do wrong" Catharsion decides to pitch in, his disembodied voice says: "do not try to dominate, empathize instead. That is the light's way" Abysmalia looks shocked, realizing that even the gods disapprove of her methods. You realize that you need to calm down and talk things out instead of trying to dominate. The next island is a barren land full of people wearing rags and looking miserable. In the distance you see someone chopping wood, he has a large back full of cuts and bruises and is hacking at a tree with a large axe. > You reach out to the lumberjack's back and feel his pain. Empathize, and try light magic again. You reach out to the lumberjack and feel his pain. The islanders are surprised as you begin to heal the lumberjack of his cuts and bruises. You realize that it is exactly like healing yourself and do so.

The islanders are amazed as the lumberjack's cuts fade away completely. They thank you and scatter flowers around you as you continue on your way. Abysmalia hisses at the people and tells them to not try anything funny. You shake your head but then you get a sudden realization: what if you try light magic to empathize with Abysmalia? You reach out to her and suddenly see into her mind. You are horrified by what you see, images of her younger days in which she was repeatedly harassed in a dark alley. You also see the image of a woman named Bruiseria who constantly bullied her during school, this and her mom's death was the straw that broke the camel's back and turned her into a ruthless criminal. > You say "Abby, I know you find light magic useless because it didn't protect you when you needed it. Please allow me to dampen your pain. " Abysmalia looks at you in awe. She has never known someone to actually want to connect with her. She becomes extremely happy and gives you a kiss on the cheek before hugging you tightly. Abysmalia says "dare to disappoint me and I will bite you, take a chunk out of you!" You keep your guard down and focus on her emaciated, corpse like body. You focus on her physical ailments and begin casting your light to help her. It's slow going and at one point you thought she was going to bite you but she is so happy that she forgets to do so. You notice as she becomes more beautiful, her eyes stop being so hollow looking and her body stops looking like a corpse. Her dark grey scales become more of a deep black color. "Yes, I feel much better! That was really nice of you." She says with a smile. "No problem, I'm just glad it worked." > You say "Do you feel it, Abby? The light made the negative energy us Necromancers hold feel.... further away, it's hard to explain." "Yes, the light is good. I've never experienced something like this before but I feel great right now. I don't feel like killing anything anymore." "Oh, good." You say with a sigh of relief. > You say "Why have you never ran from Pezenstad anyway? All that place has are slums and misery." Abysmalia sighs deeply "I feel a sense of duty to protect the weak who cannot protect themselves. By any means necessary" you know that she went way too far with that ideal. > You say "You know Koriza and I got the same ideals as you? We just don't go commit Necromantic terrorism" Abysmalia tells you that this is the only way she knows, and for you to shut up. She doesn't want to discuss this subject. You wonder if you should continue talking about this, or just end the conversation. You decide it's best to respect her boundaries and focus on the positive. > You so you obviously made some light magic progress, what do you think Catharsion wants you to do next?

Abysmalia tells you that retrying exorcism on the Gorgors seems a logical option. You tell her that she seems to know what she's doing, and it's not your place to question her. > You say "Hey, Gorgors are demons. Is there overlap between Necromancy and Demonology or are you powerless when it comes to demons?" Abysmalia laughs at you and asks if you really want to know or are you just being a dick and patronizing her. You tell her that you are genuinely curious as to whether or not she has powers over demons. She seems insulted by your response. She mutters something under her breath and then addresses you again. She tells you that her expertise is with the dead, not demons. She goes on to tell you that Necromancy only covers the dead. Demons are a completely different topic and require a lot of study and energy to master properly. Even then it is difficult to have any real effect on demons with magic. > You say "Do you think I should just freeze them once I forced the Gorgor from a host?" You tell her that your plan was to kill the Gorgor after you force it out of a victim and before it has a chance to jump to another. She tells you that would probably work, but there is a large supply of bodies down there for the taking and Gorgors are very resilient creatures. They would probably quickly heal from most any injury you could inflict upon them. > You say "Well, just brainstorming tactics here. I want to separate a single Gorgor possessed human from the group, use light magic to drive it out. Then we have a free, angry Gorgor on our hands and a human with a massive wound. I need to heal that wound. Can you deal with the Gorgor or are you going to be a pain in my ass again?" "I can take that Gorgor." she tells you. She seems confident and proud as she says it. "Alright, but if it jumps to you I'm not saving your ass." you say. "Deal." she responds. You feel confident now that you have a plan and someone who knows what they're doing. You soon overlook the Gorgor island with Abysmalia. > You fly over the Gorgor possessed humans and look for a lone one to airlift back to Abysmalia. Over the groups of Gorgor possessed humans you see exactly what you're looking for. A single Gorgor possessed human stands alone. You swoop down and use your claws to lift him into the air. The man kicks and screams as he is lifted from his friends, he tries to grab on to them but can't reach. There are 4 spindly red limbs protruding from the man's back, those are the Gorgor's. > You pin down the man and empathize with his situation. Cast light to force the demonic spider that is the Gorgor out of his body. You dive down and grab hold of the man, he screams in pain as you force him to the ground. You place your claws around his neck and squeeze, not enough to kill him but enough to keep him from moving.

The man continues to scream for help as the other Gorgor possessed humans turn their heads in confusion. "Won't be long now." you whisper to the man, "Soon you'll be free." > You silence the man and use your light magic to expel the Gorgon from the man. You turn the man to dust before he can scream again. Now you're ready to expel the Gorgor. You reach down into his chest and grab hold of the creature. The man screams as his internal organs are crushed, it won't be long now until it's all over. The Gorgor hisses and sputters as it is forced out of the man's chest, it's red skin is slimy and wet as you pull it out. > You focus on the Gorgor. You attempt to use light magic for something destructive: killing the Gorgor demon. You take a deep breath and focus the light into your palm. The Gorgor demon writhes in pain as it is covered by a ball of light, soon the ball grows larger and larger, the Gorgor's skin is burned and its flesh begins to drip off its body. Soon there is nothing left of the creature but a puddle of burning flesh. The man's body lays there, now nothing more than a black skull, some bones and a puddle of ash. > You say "That was intense! I probably overestimated the resilience of that guy, humans are frail!" Abysmalia nods "well you drove it out and killed it. Let's go to Catharsion" you agree. Both of you get teleported there as if by clockwork. You are back in Catharsion's temple. He chuckles at your surprised expressions. "I am this realm. I see all. Now. You know the light well enough to keep your spirit healthy. Any questions before I send you deeper down?" You ask Catharsion why the man died. He explains the Gorgor was deeply entrenched in the body and fused with the spine. Healing is a very complicated magic and even the likes of Alec need years of study go heal less traumatic wounds. Abysmalia rolls her eyes as she finds light magic overrated. "You both came with questions, but I will only answer one. Ask quickly." You look at Abysmalia. As you ponder what to ask, she looks back at you as if telling you to ask something already. > You say "The next layer is "the collectively subconscious of the world" what does that even mean?" He look at you and Abysmalia, befuddled "difficult that one, it is like the dream layer. Instead of dreams it hosts the psychological cores of every living being. You could pilfer the deepest secrets from others here! This layer is so vast and overwhelming you really must know what you are looking for. You want to go to the largest soul you can find in the center!" You say you understand. Catharsion draws a circle on the floor with his claw and it disappears into a white void. He instructs you and Abysmalia to enter. You hop in.

Your senses are immediately assaulted by millions of strobe lights, random sounds, smell, tastes, touches.... the entire place looks like an infinite stacks of balls of yarn. Each ball represents an individual and all the strands represent connections, inputs and outputs. Suddenly the sensory overload stops. You've turned into raw information. An amorphous rainbow. > You say "Abysmalia? Have you changed too?" You can feel her presence. Your senses all have blended together, a strand connects you to your "ball of yarn" your subconscious. She does the same and becomes a silvery thread that intertwines with your own. You can sense her feelings, see what she sees, know what she knows... but you are still a mass of floating senses. You try to will yourself to move towards her. You instinctively know which direction she's in. You feel yourself moving through tunnels that look like veins and arteries. The world looks so different now. The sphere closest to yours is Koriza. This one is most connected to yours. Makes sense, she is the live of your life. You notice all spheres around you are smaller than yours... You just know why. It is because you are a purple dragon. You find Disarria's sphere, just as big as yours. You find another purple dragon sphere. You could spy but decide to stay on target. You triangulate the 3 balls in your mind and of course, you can sense the largest of all; a pure black sphere of all encompassing size. You and Abysmalia race towards and inside it. Once inside you are in the darkest void, you can feel you are a dragon again but everything is pitch black. This is it. You are inside the mind of the dark god Apocalion! You are in a new room. It is perfectly spherical and has many strange symbols on the walls, all of which are black and glow with a dark purple sheen. It's like someone took all the symbols from every writing system and civilization and melted them together into one incomprehensible alphabet. You see a dragon just like you but with dark blue stripes instead of black. Abysmalia in particular seems apprehensive she hisses "Apocalion! You motherfucker ruined our world!" All 3 of you know Apocalion is imprisoned and unable to do you serious harm. But in the middle of room a giant eye materializes, it is Apocalion's pupil. It is blood red and menacing looking. "How quaint", you hear a voice say inside your head. "One of my souls come back to pay me a visit." "You are not real! You are trapped!" you shout at the eye. "You have been ever since the Apocalyptic Campaign! His echoing, deep voice befitting a dark god returns while the creepy, blood red eye gazes at you and Abysmalia "you came to me, is it not? Why?" You came for the light, but you got a feeling Apocalion has trapped you, albeit temporary. You decide to humor him. > You say "Well we wanted to reach the Singularity, but you got us trapped here. We got no desire to play mind games with you, Apocalion.

You are the Engineer of Sadism. We both reject you! " Apocalion laughs, the dragon with only one eye, and one horrific socket where the other was, gets close to you. You just now notice the chains binding his wings. Silvery links on very dark scales. Abysmalia steps back and hisses again ,she insists on distance from her most hated adversary. You look Apocalion in his intact eye. He says "I have got a gift for you, purple dragon" Apocalion gives you a toothy grin of thin, spiny and creepy teeth Abysmalia insists you to not take any gift from the literal God of Pain but it's too late. A third eye on Apocalion's forehead opens. You gaze at the magical eye and see visions of your world in dystopia: one where Suffering is maximized. You see a world overtaken by beasts where every living creatures fears you, understands that they cannot kill you with any amount of men or magic, but suffer trying. You see a World of plague and pestilence, empty cities rotting away with the dead animals lying in heaps and putrid water. The World of disease and rot. You see a world of heat and flames, where magma has replaced water and fire has replaced wood, trees burn furiously for miles. You see a world of cold, where ice periodically falls from the sky and freezes everything it touches, and arctic creatures wander about aimlessly, hungry for heat. You see a world without light, where night never ends and all beings instinctively cower in terror. You see a world full of shadows, where light is drowned out by darkness and any being without dark vision is left alone in a void of nothing, scared for it's life. You see a world full of lies, a world where truth is smothered and suppressed and the ignorant thrive, you see a world without freedom, ruled by an iron fist that keeps it's subjects in chains to protect them from the horrors that lie just outside their eyesight. You see a world not worth saving. You feel Apocalion's claw on your head. Apocalion says: I have given you the power of Dark Siphon. Take any magical ability or life force from anything. Amuse me. Realize the visions! You say "I see a World of plague and pestilence, empty cities rotting away with the dead animals lying in heaps and putrid water. The world of disease and rot." Apocalion says: Yes! A world where disease takes many forms: plague, pestilence, decay, infection... so many things to experiment with! So many ways to cause suffering. Amuse me! You smile and walk over to Abysmalia "too bad I am allied to my planet, Apocalion. I will make sure you will never break free!" Abysmalia smiles with you, although her is more aggressive. Everything fades and becomes a white, gentle glow. You and Abysmalia feel the joy of pure light course through you. There it is.

The singularity. A holy light crystal that is shaped like a D20. It spins in random patterns. The Singularity cannot be understood by mortal minds. It is a cryptic yet benign being. You and Abysmalia know this is the strongest holy entity and the core of the planet at the same time. You suddenly feel harmonious and pleasurable vibrations through your body, then it changes to another tone. You feel what the Singularity is asking of you. 1 question, 1 it will answer truthfully. It knows all. Abysmalia and you agree to carefully consider. > You say "Hey Abby, how about the missing 10 purple dragons? Should I ask that? I mean, there are only 3 out of the 13 we know and the rest will skyrocket our chances of victory" After agreement the Singularity tunes that the missing 10 are in a place called "Oganesson" which is in the same solar system as yours. You are expected to travel the aether. You are awestruck by the revelation other worlds indeed exist! The experience is life-changing but as the singularity's vibrations slow down you and Abysmalia feel a change in your minds. You suddenly feel more powerful, intelligent and... magical! You mind-link with your friends and followers. You find that you can communicate telepathically. You all jump in joy. This is the best gift the Singularity could give you! A white flash envelops you and Abysmalia. You returned to your bodies on the material world. You find yourself in a casket. After breaking out Abysmalia did the same "hey Abby, we got fucking buried!" You have been in Dreamscape so long you both got presumed dead. She complains "dumb asses" Abysmalia is not part of your crew, your friends see her as villain still. Time to prove them wrong. > You say "Abby, my idea is to stay here until someone comes to mourn. Would be the easiest way to reconnect with them" Abby responds "Sure Enty, that could work." > You say "Did you just nickname me, Abby? We are bonding aren't we?" You see she blushes, she responds "It's just a friendly nickname. Don't think anything of it." You put your hand on her shoulder. You and Abysmalia wait, Koriza comes in the tomb and notices your coffin got wrecked. She frantically looks around and spots you and Abysmalia who she thought were dead. You say "you're not hallucinating Kor, it's me, Entropion! I missed you!" Koriza thought you were dead. "The scar across your midsection! You looked dead!" you tell her "Well Koriza, we were dead. We came back to life!" Koriza hugs you, she begins sobbing "I thought I lost you" she says as she hugs you tighter. You hug Koriza back, intending to never let go "my dear Koriza. The pain mourning me must've brought you" you cry. You learn Koriza was crying tears of joy when she saw you alive. She welcomes you back with a kiss on the lips. Abysmalia gags "ew gross! PDA is disgusting!" She complains. Koriza is flustered and apologizes "I'm sorry Enty, I forgot myself.

I was overwhelmed with joy." You forgive her as you understand. Abysmalia is unpleasant as ever. You, Abysmalia and Koriza leave the crypt as you discuss the matters at hand. you ask Koriza how long you and Abysmalia were in coma while visiting Dreamscape. She tells you a year and a half passed by the time you woke up. This causes you and Abysmalia to gasp in shock. Koriza tells you how you were buried 5 months, 17 days ago. She has been counting every day she had to miss you... > You say "Wow Kor, you are faithful to the core. Our engagement is as alive as I am!" Koriza becomes flustered and embarrassed, she covers her face with her hands. You stop and stare at her. She is ashamed because she feels she can't be a proper princess. "I'm sorry Enty, I've been such a disappointment. You deserve better." > You say "You did nothing wrong Koriza, I broke our promise of me not using dark powers, I did so anyway to save Purperkust. You captured me and Abysmalia. The blame is on me and Abby if any." Koriza is relieved to know it was not her fault. She hugs you. "Yes, the blame is on both of you. either way Enty I'm glad to see you're back! I have to fill you in while we fly to the temple." All of you take off and fly, Koriza taking the lead. She tells you that this land is the white dragon homeland of Ietros. The rocky, sunny Mediterranean area is just like you expected it. So serene. Koriza continues that in your absence the mission was still on and they focused on training the other purple dragon: Disarria. Your new base is an abandoned fixer upper white dragon temple that they renovated. Some privacy from the cities for a change. Abysmalia complains "white dragons. Great. You had to take me to these pretentious feathered freaks?" You sigh at her complaining. Koriza already lost her patience with Abysmalia. Koriza leads you all through a mountain pass and down to the temple. The temple is farther than you expected, but it is very well hidden. The temple's architecture isn't like anything you've seen before. It looks like the front of a Greek temple, with the rest inside the mountain rock wall. There are Korizan style paper lanterns, banners and plants that decorate it. Koriza obviously gave this place her own touch. The 3 of you land in front of the building. Koriza stops you and says "let me get everyone to the dining hall, so you only have to go over your story once" you nod. Abysmalia is less eager to meet your friends. Xenia, Disarria and Zalisi are waiting in the dining hall. You, Koriza and Abysmalia wait outside. Koriza says: "everyone is ready, it is up to you and Abysmalia to make your entry. Just don't give them heart attacks okay?" You laugh and reply "alright, let's make this short and sweet".

Koriza flicks her wrist and the doors open. Xenia is surprised, she quickly recovers and rushes to hug you saying "I can't believe it's you!" Disarria begins clapping and says "bravo for the dramatic entrance, but I told you he'd defy death". Zalisi remains seated at the table but smiles as you enter. > You say "Xenia, your fur is so velvety soft, but, don't hold me for too long or Koriza may get jealous. Besides I and Abysmalia got a heck of a story to tell!" You say "Xenia, your fur is so velvety soft, but, don't hold me for too long or Koriza may get jealous. Besides I and Abysmalia got a heck of a story to tell!" You say to Xenia. Xenia smiles and replies "I missed you so much! Tell me everything after dinner!" Xenia puts her head on your shoulder and gives you a tight hug. Later you start telling the story. Abysmalia fills in some details but let's you lead. You tell about the weirdness of dreamscape, about the cannon child blasting you when you insulted Gruzub, over the old man that bathes in blood, the gnome armies... it was a blast of bizarre. "I knew it!" Disarria says "orc babies are sacred even if they act so violent, that's why the cannon kid shot you!" Disarria is pleased with the story. Xenia asks you more questions and is genuinely interested in the story. Zalisi remains silent. Xenia says "this summons more questions than answers" You continue about the memories you saw. You saw your parents.. A blue and yellow dragon. Koriza's snooping was correct, the black dragons slain them. You say you saw Abysmalia's youth, but to ask her for that one as you respect Abysmalia's privacy. You tell about Catharsion and him training you in light magic, how you healed a man and destroyed a Gorgor. Xenia seems satisfied with how you learned some light magic. You tell her you will go in detail with her on this later. You tell about the subconscious of the world, and how you and Abysmalia became pure energy. Xenia recognizes this dreamscape journey. She says "most high level white dragons do this trip in a week. You took 18 months.... still impressive with no training at all" Xenia continues "almost none manage to go further... I can feel you saw... him." She shudders as she refers to Apocalion. > You say "Yes. We saw Apocalion. I can tell you what he looks like but it will do him no justice. He is the darkest soul in the universe. Darkness incomprehensible unless you saw it" > You say "He shown me the vistas of the worlds of pure suffering he can create. He gave me a gift to lead me astray and usher in one of these visions " Apocalion want's you to fail. He want's you to join him. He also gave you the vision of creating a new world of suffering but Abysmalia helped you resist the vision. Xenia tells you this confirms the legends of the few others that got that far. She asks you what Apocalion gave you even though she has fear on her face. She says she can sense a tiny sliver of his essence in you. > You say "He gifted me a magical ability, Dark Siphon. It allows me to steal the life force and magical abilities from others.

I think Apocalion wants to motivate me on a Siphoning rampage " Xenia's face shows shock and horror. She says "He wants you to kill the strongest mages in the world to create a reality of suffering? That is insane!" > You say "Well, I wield this power now so he can shove his scheme right up his-" "No! That's what he wants you to think!" Xenia says, "Apocalion wants to give you this power so you will kill on his behalf. He wants the strongest mages dead so no one can stop him! He must have had a reason for telling you about his plan." You ponder. "Well, he did say I could have my friends killed if I wanted to. > You say "I will be careful, Xenia. The Singularity of the holy light is also like the books. Gentle humming and all. It gave me the ability of telepathy with anyone I got a strong enough bond with." "Who gave you this?" Xenia asks. "The holy light, I thought it was the holy spirit of the Singularity." "Oh...well....we'll talk more about this later." You feel a tingling in your mind. You feel something else too. It is Zalisi. She is calling to you. You suppose you should talk to her, later. Disarria chuckles and jokes "even in coma Entropion achieves more than I do." > You say "You also learned light magic Disarria? I mean, originally you guys came her to purge my negative energy but then you all thought I died" Disarria nods "yeah that was the plan, but, we decided to stay and continue my purple dragon duties. Koriza really loves you Enty, she spent a lot of her free time by your comatose body" Koriza is weeping softly and whimpers "Enty... never leave me again" "But I didn't leave you, my coma was just an illusion!" you say. Koriza stands up and hugs you softly. "I love you" she whispers in your ear. Abysmalia groans and leaves the table. > You follow Xenia to her room first, you feel in need of her wisdom. You follow Xenia into her private room. It is decorated with white and blue sheets. There is a large bed in the middle of the room with a chest, a chair and a bookshelf filled with scrolls by the bedside. You sit on the bed as Xenia sits in her chair. She has a potted plant set up in the room. > You say "You want me to test Dark Siphon on this plant here? " Xenia nods. "I want to see it and I suppose it would be effective. But do as you wish, this is your training session." You decide to attempt to drain the energy of the plant using Dark Siphon. It works. The plant withers and begins to lose its color You feel a sudden rush of energy within you after casting the spell and the plant has been destroyed. > You say "I feel... fantastic! It is so easy to use! I would love more life force to eat. Wait, is this the trickery Apocalion has set up?

Easy to use and satisfying... I can see this turn to a power hungry addiction." Xenia nods. "Use it responsibly. If you don't go too far on someone you can take their magical powers or vitality. Better than killing them" you agree. > You say "If I were to use it on you, would I get your soothsayer ability or is that more of skill than a magical power?" "Oh no, that's a power for sure, but I don't think you could use it due to your own nature and busy mind" Xenia says. "I want you to use that other ability on me. The telepathy. Let's converse that way." You want to do this with her, and you hold hands.

Her furry white paws on your scaly claws. > You inhale deeply and focus. Just like Dark Siphon, this ability is easy to use as a god gifted it to you. You telepathically call Xenia a fluff ball in jest. "I am a fluffy white dragon, what are you?" You think at Xenia, who giggles. "I am a scaly purple dragon" she thinks back to you. You keep playing this way for a while, you enjoying hearing her giggle and her enjoying your playful insults. Disarria walks in and tilts her head "enjoying your creepy brain sex session?" Disarria walks in and tilts her head "enjoying your creepy brain sex session?" Xenia goes "eep!" And your concentration is broken. You laugh "bwahaha, I missed you flustering Xenia like that, Dis." Disarria smiles "well, I did say I would join you two. Are you two going into the sexual deviant brain sex zone?" You reply "um, no?" "Too bad" Dis says "I could hear both of your thoughts. You were going to do dirty stuff hm? Go on then" > You say "You need new material, teasing Xenia the abstinent with sex is a bit stale. I am totally going to hug Koriza all night long!" Xenia calls you and Disarria perverts, and the two of you leave Xenia's room laughing. You head for Koriza's room, it was an easy find with the Korizan decorations inside. You knock on the door. "Who is it?" "It's me, Entropion" "Oh, open the door then" Koriza says. You open the door. Koriza lays on her bed. You walk inside and hug her. She hugs back, then looks at you. "So? What did you find out?" "You're a very pretty purple dragon" > You say "You're a even prettier red dragon" "Thanks" Koriza smiles Koriza continues to smile. She is very pretty when she smiles. You think back to when you first met her. Disarria was right, you made a good couple. "You're so warm, Ent" Koriza says as she puts her hand on your cheek. You lean into her hand a bit. > You say "You missed me so much, and then the one you vainly wished to kiss one last time is alive in the flesh, in front of you in that tomb. I don't think what you felt can be understood by those that never felt something so intense. " "You are right!" Koriza says. She gives you a hug and begins to cry on your shoulder "I'll never forget the surge I felt today" "Don't worry, I'll always be here for you" You hug her back. > You say "I think now is the best time possible, but... Koriza of Korizan, will you be my wedded consort and princess?"

Koriza looks shocked. "You're not just saying this because I'm sad are you?" "Never" You say looking into her eyes. "Well... yes....Of course!" Koriza kisses you, the two of embrace. The two of you spend the rest of the night celebrating your newfound togetherness. That means cuddling, you perverts. The next morning, when you wake up, she is gone. You find her later that day but went outside to take a stroll in the mountains. > You try out dark siphon on a lifeless object, a stone. The stone remains lifeless. At least you know its not because you lack the ability, so much as the object in question isn't a living being. > You drain a tree of it's life force with Dark Siphon. The Tree immediately begins to droop and wilt, soon it's leaves begin to fall off. It takes on a very sickly appearance. You are surprised when it begins to move, walking towards you with unnatural jerking movements. You focus the dark energy and feel it course through you, after a few moments, you feel the energy leave the tree and enter your own body. You can feel it coursing through your body and it gives you a sense of euphoria. You successfully cast Dark Siphon. > You wonder if animals taste different when drained. You hunt for the first creature you come across. You find a beautiful deer, peacefully eating grass in a clearing. You pounce and pin it down. > You cast Dark Siphon on the deer. Wondering how the energy tastes compared to a plant's life force. The Dark energy enters your body and gives you a warmth, while the deer immediately becomes cold. It feels good. The life force of a deer is completely different to that of a tree, but it's still very satisfying. You successfully cast Dark Siphon on the deer. The deer begins to rot immediately, you gag and try not to vomit while it's life force still enters your body. You know now that deer meat is way better than deer life force You want to check in on Abysmalia. Back at the temple you find her room. Braziers with green fire, tapestries with runic symbols and the smell of death greet you. You walk in and Abysmalia is reading. She sighs "what?" You wonder why she is so cranky. "What's wrong?" You ask. "What's wrong? You know what's wrong, it's you. I am here reading and you disturb me." "Sorry" you say and turn to leave. "Wait" she says "You came here to talk to me right?" You nod nervously. "So what do you wanna talk about?" > You say "I wanted to know how you are holding up after our wild ride in dreamscape. Are Koriza, Zalisi, Disarria and Xenia accepting you in our friend group?" She laughs "Yeah, sure they are." Clearly she is not convinced that her new friends have accepted her.

> You say "Something is wrong Abby, we traveled a magical realm together for 18 months so I can read your mood well enough, what is bothering you?" She sighs and says "I dunno, I feel like they all look down on me, I think Koriza thinks I am stupid, she doesn't talk but I can tell that's what she thinks. Disarria is so loud, and Zalisi is so snooty, Xenia seems nice but quiet. You are the only one who talks to me normally. > You say "You did try to murder an entire island... " You explain the situation. She says "Well I get why I am not the most popular, and I will try to be nicer but they need to accept me first!" > You say "That is not how it works, they didn't see your better side yet like I did. The initiative is on you, Abby, let them in and if they are still cold towards you I'll step in. " She says "But you are not here most of the time, how can I feel comfortable around a group I feel cold towards?" > You say "How about Xenia? She can sniff out pretenders like a bloodhound. Her being a soothsayer and all that. If you are genuine to her, you can convince the group." She says "I think you are giving me too much credit, and I am not sure if I want to try that hard." You say "It isn't that much credit, you have a good heart. Now let's go back, we have some time before the meetings." She nods "Lead on, Enty." You check on Zalisi, Disarria is in the room with Zalisi and the both of them turn to look at you. They seem happy to see you. > You say "Hey ladies, so I know me being alive is overwhelming, let alone Abysmalia joining us. So I want to discuss any matters you still have on your mind." Disarria says "I am just very happy you are alive, and we could be together again." Zalisi says "I am glad you are not dead. I admit I did not think you were coming back, but I am just glad to have another chance with all of us here again." You nod, but then ask "Does anyone have any issues with this new development?" Disarria says "No." Zalisi says "No." > You say "Well, Abysmalia doesn't feel welcome. How do you two feel about her? Yes, she tries to murder Purperdraak Island, but after those 18 months I can say she is not that bad." Zalisi looks away, unwilling to comment. Disarria says "It isn't that I don't like her, I just feel nervous around her. There is a lot of negative energy around her." You nod "I understand your concerns, but I think with time we can all get to like each other." > You say "So, does that answer everything? I want to hop over to Koriza now. " Disarria eagerly nods. Zalisi says "I'll stay here with Disarria."

You nod and head to Koriza's room. Koriza smiles when you enter the room. She says something to Xenia who nods and leaves. > You flirt with Koriza, you are in a naughty mood and want some fun. You look into Koriza's eyes and grab her hand. She looks surprised but then smiles. Koriza says "Hello." You say "Hi, are you ready for me?" Koriza nods. You smile and start caressing Koriza's face. You kiss her gently on the lips, which she returns, wrapping her long tail around you. You let your hands wander over her body. > You say "Don't deny it Kor, you missed the more physical side of our romance too." She responds by pushing you onto the bed and lying on top of you. She looks into your eyes and you look back, however, when she kisses you, her eyes are still open. You can feel her tail wrapping around your body, which is currently changing to accommodate your activities. Koriza is decided on dominating you. She reaches for something and grabs a collar and a leash. You nod. Smiling, as permission. You want her in control. She collars you "listen, you are my servant for now. Kinky NSFW happens. Afterwards > You say "We both needed that, I wasn't exactly taking care of my needs when in coma." "Don't worry, I will continue to take care of your needs in the future.
