Chapter five: Suiting up
"well I think we should probably find you some suitable attire so that we may begin our hunt" said sapphire "I have a wide selection of armour and clothing for you"
Draco went straight for a large black trench coat in front of him.
"ah the necromancers coat, a good choice indeed" commented sapphire "but before you put that on you will want this" sapphire handed Draco a bunch of leather straps with buckles on them.
"what's this?" asked Draco as he examined the proposed item.
"it is a cross harness used to hold a sword on your back"
"but I don't have a sword"
"ah but you will now, I have the perfect blade for you, it is a very good blade at that"
"Then why would you give it to me? Why don't you just sell it" asked Draco very confused
"because I could never let a mere mortal get their hands on such a blade, it is too precious to me" said sapphire looking rather meaningful
"then why give it to me? After all I am half mortal" questioned Draco
"because I can see that you will not damage it or destroy it, you can be trusted with it"
"thank you I cant see how you know though" said Draco rather confused again.
Sapphire tapped her head and then pointed to him indicating that she had been reading his mind again.
"oh I see" said Draco giving an understanding nod
Sapphire then handed him a broad sword, it seemed to gleam in the light as if it had only just been polished, she then began to help him with the cross harness with the sheath on the back.
"you are going to look like a seasoned warrior when I've finished with you"
Then with a few practice swings and an impressive spin of the sword he sung it over his back and sheathed it.
"this is a fine blade indeed, where did you get such a blade?" commented Draco
"well I actually made it myself, but I had no one to give it to" sighed sapphire
Draco picked up some different pieces of armour like: some poltroons that were slight enough so that they would fit under the coat without raising suspicion, a cape to hide his wings but not impair the possible use of them, and a helmet that covered his head ears and eyes but allowed you to see his mouth, then finally a chest plate again slight enough so that it could be hidden beneath the coat, then he slipped his coat and cloak on over all the armour and was ready to leave the cave.
"are you ready for our hunt?" asked sapphire running her tail up his side again and giggling at the shudder she received.
"I will be if you can stop teasing me like that" murmured Draco
With that the two left the treasure room and to the front of the cave, but Draco couldn't see an opening anywhere that went to the outside world.
"um sapphire? Where is the door?" asked Draco with a confused look upon his face
