Chapter Twenty Three

"Stirring The Pot"

"Sir, you have a visitor." Gele announced as she entered Merrik's office.

"Show them in." He replied.

"About that, he's not allowed in the building... per your orders." She replied and Merrik looked at her from his computer.

"Are we talking about Lou?"

"Yes sir, he's at the entrance chatting it up with Ajmal and Bryan." Geler replied and she chuckled softly at the face Merrik made when their names were brought up. He was not fond of those two.

"So then I pawcuffed him to the chair and walked away," Lou said as he and Ajmal laughed loudly and Bryan made a face like he had a sour stomach. Lou looked at him in surprise then with a questioning look.

"Not nice." Bryan replied and Ajmal leaned over and playfully slapped his arm.

"He deserved it for tying his scrumptious deer to the bed and just walking away. I mean who does that?!" Ajmal replied.

"Leggo friend." Bryan countered and Ajmal rolled his eyes then turned back to Lou.

"Don't mind him, he's in one of his moods. Woke up on the wrong side of the bed and now he's taking it out on everyone." Ajmal said.

"So how about you two, any special games of your own you like to play?" Lou asked. Bryan made another face but Ajmal wasn't bothered in the slightest.

"Well, Bryan is definitely a submissive bottom, if you know what I mean. However his kink is that he likes it when I put on a diaper and dress like a baby." Ajmal said and Lou saw Bryan blush slightly.

"You mean you mess yourself in one of those things?" Lou asked, a little disgusted at the thought.

"Puleese, as if... I just dress up and he carries me around like I'm a baby and he hugs me and kisses me. No messes though! Neither of us finds that attractive."

"How cu..." Lou tried to say how cute it was but was interrupted by Ajmal.

"Then we go nappy time... as in we take a nap together. Of course, I usually wake up locked in a cage and I have to beg and plead to get released, which means he has his way with me." Lou saw a big grin on Bryan's face as Ajmal said this.

"Not quite the submissive bottom then." Lou remarked.

"HA! He never tops... ever! I'm forced to do it and I gotta pound away at him for hours and hours until we're both satisfied. I mean it's only fair... especially since a couple of thrusts and he wets the sheets. You know what I mean?!"

"TMI." Lou replied and was grateful when Gele and Merrik arrived so the subject could change.

"Why are you here?" Merrik demanded in his strictest voice.

"Can we talk in private?" Lou asked.

"Oooh don't mind us, really." Ajmal said as he leaned in closer. Merrik gave him a dirty look and grabbed Lou's arm and pulled him aside so they could talk in private.

"Well?" Merrik asked.

"It has come to my attention that it might be in our best interests to work together in order to save my family." Lou stated softly trying to seem humble.

"Couldn't do it yourself, eh?!"

"No... but I heard some compelling arguments that suggested we work better as a team than going solo." Lou countered. Merrik turned and gave a stern look at Gele and she shrugged. Ajmal was standing on a chair talking softly to Bryan as the big guy was busy blushing. He turned back and saw the cold hard look Lou was giving him.

"I don't see enough groveling." Merrik remarked.

"Nor will you," Lou said, trying to remain calm. "I suggest you accept my offer... if you want to get back in my good graces."

"Fuck you," Merrik replied the Lou said the same thing back at him. Then they kept repeating the same phrase back and forth at each other as they got angrier and angrier with each telling. Gele sighed then turned to see Ajmal whispering to his lover.

"That looks like fun, let's try it! Fuck me,"

"No fuck me," Bryan said back then they began to repeat the same phrase to each other. Gele looked at them in disbelief.

"Great," She said to herself. "I'm surrounded by assholes." This went on for a while until she went to get a newspaper and rolled it up and hit each of them on the head to get them to stop.

Leggo was becoming increasingly agitated as he walked down the street. He was aware of the cub that was following him for some reason. His memory was foggy at best and other than really knowing his name he couldn't remember a thing. The cub had him wondering if he knew him and could tell him something about himself.

The cub was being extra cautious and he'd never have known about the cub if he hadn't smelled his scent. This wasn't the first time the cub had been after him and he wasn't sure why he would never approach him but kept hiding and stalking him.

He had thought of a plan to trap him but he was waiting until there were as few species around as possible. This plan required a little humiliation and the last thing he wanted was everyone looking at him. Once he saw that the street was clear he bent low and began to walk on all fours. His cheeks felt hot as he hoped no one he knew could see him like this. He crept behind walls and store racks to hide his presents as he doubled back on the cub now searching for him.

With the stealth of a wolf he crept up on the unsuspecting feline as the lad squatted down to see if he could find his prey closer to the ground. The lad shook a second before Leggo scruffed him and held him in the air as Tyger dangled helplessly.

"Why are you following me?!" Leggo growled. A touch of fear and panic was on the cub's face then he tried to force a smile.

"Hi, I'm selling these fine magazines and..." Tyger began.

"Don't lie to me! Who are you? Why are you after me?" Leggo yelled, interrupting him.

"Sorry, you just look like my dad," Tyger said as he lowered his eyes and Leggo lowered him to the ground but kept him scruffed.

"Right, I think I've seen you with the white wolf that lives next door. You must realize that I'm grey colored... or are you color blind?"

"No sir, he's my papa," Tyger said, forcing himself to say the word. "But my real dad was a grey wolf. He adopted me and my brother and I lost him then they gave me, papa, to replace him so I wouldn't feel so lonely." Tyger said, keeping his eyes lowered. Leggo released him and began to pet his head.

Tyger had his opening and he stepped closer and hugged his dad. He needed to be close to him and get his scent because he had been missing him. Even though tigers are solitary beings sometimes they just want a little company.

Jon stood still using the controls to maneuver the drone as he observed what it saw over a digital panel Lou had installed on the controls he was given. He found he needed very little practise as spending a few hours with the deer and him explaining how a drone works. He was surprised that he was actually liking it and thought he might join the club back at the school.

He was alone because when he asked the school for permission to take them on a field trip it was deemed that the site he chose was too far from the school. After thinking about it he had to agree so he planned to fly the drone himself.

The cover story he had worked out was that he was a teacher looking to get some drone experience to use in his class. If found he would simply say he was told the area here was beautiful and he wanted to use it to teach his students. He had his camera set up nearby to record him and he was talking to it as if he was teaching a class.

He figured that if he turned up missing then his captorts would be worried about someone coming looking for him. Plus he would hide that it was secretly recording the surroundings so they'd have no clue what he was really up to.

"Eh hem," His thoughts were interrupted as a tiny hedgehog approached him wrapped up in a little ball.

"Oh my paws, is this a blowfish on land?!" Jon exclaimed knowing full well it was a white hedgehog.

"No, a sea urchin... I MEAN a hedgehog!" Sanic said as he unwrapped himself and looked up at the yellow dog.

"Sorry, I thought I was going to be alone out here." Jon replied.

"I regret to inform you that you are flying that... that thing very close to our community and we have several species that feel those things are part of a government plot. I must kindly ask you to leave." Sanic replied politely. Jon turned and saw a giant white rhino approaching him with a scowl on his face.

"Wow guys, check it out! An actual albino rhino!!" Jon exclaimed into his camera phone as he retrieved it and walked over to the rhino to interview him. Sanic watched in disbelief.

"What are you doing?" Bruno the rhino asked, looking at Jon as he pointed his phone at him,.

"Sir, may I interview you for my class?"

"Class?!" Bruno asked as he sent out a blast of air from his nostrils.

"I'm a school teacher and I've been recording myself flying this drone to use as part of my lecture. However, an actual white rhino is very rare and I'd love to introduce you to my class."

"Excuse me but as amusing as all this is, let me remind you that species like us are not welcome in your world and just wish to live peaceful lives away from the hatred and bigotry we experience." Sanic replied.

"Meaning?" Jon asked.

"Please take your things and leave before this turns into an issue." Sanic said and Jon looked sad but nodded and used his controls to return the drone to himself.

"Are you sure I cannot interview you guys? If you could just tell them the stories of how species have hated you; you might be able to reach them and begin to show that rare white fur species are not evil." Jon replied but Sanic shook his head and Jon left with his tail between his legs.

"You have no idea what I had to go through to save your friend." Sanic explained as he sat on Lou's desk as he nibbled on a chicken nugget. Lou had the maid prepare him some using the best chicken nuggets on the market.

"Tell me about it?" Lou asked patiently as he sipped a cup of tea.

"Bear wanted to tear him limb from limb but because he's been too weak to do anything he let me take care of it."

"Oh? Why is he soi weak?"

"The ACs in his office are breaking down constantly and without the cold it's been making him ill. He's adapting slowly but it hasn't been a pleasant experience for him." Sanic continued and took a drink from a thimble Lou had filled.

"Odd," Lou remarked as he thought to himself wondering if Tyger was behind the ACs mischief. He wouldn't put it past his son but how could he sabotage them and not get caught?

"Yeah, Oh and Bear has no money to replace the ACs so the items he's collected from species that join us are being pawned off. Even had to pawn off a few of my old things but you get like maybe a buck or two," Lou gave Sanic a stern look over the word 'buck' and Sanic blushed. "Sorry,"

"Here," Lou said as he took out his wallet and removed a generous amount of money. "Go unpawn those things so that we can return them once Bear... steps down as head of The White Citadel." He replied.

Lou remembered when Sanic had visit the mansion while he was looking for Leggo as The White Fox.

"I'm sorry I didn't mean to upset you." Lou said as he kept his voice soft to ease the tension as the hedgehog was rubbing his eyes as he cried softly.

"I'm sorry to have bothered you." Sanic said as he began to turn and walk away.

"Hold on a second, no need to rush away. Your name is?" Lou asked compassionately

"Sanic,"

"Right, Sanic! You were talking to my boys and myself at their school. You come from The White Citadel?" Lou asked.

"We used to be called the white community because we were a place where rare white fur species can live in peace and safety. It used to be a wonderful place until Bear changed."

"Bear? Who's Bear?" Lou asked, pretending to not know who that was.

"He's our leader and he used to be like a father until..." Sanic then briefly lowered his voice as if he was afraid to say anything that might be heard. "He started doing bad things."

"Huh? Bad things?"

"He wants to kill his former boss, the doberman, and he even plans to cubnap your sons if they don't agree to come quietly. He never used to be like this but something changed."

"You sound like you're worried about him." Lou remarked.

"Now that Leggo is gone I have no other friends. I get picked on because of my size and certain species are afraid I'll stick them with my spikes."

"Can we be friends?" Lou asked politely. Sanic rubbed the last of the tears from his eyes and he nodded in reply. "Sanic, what can I do to get you to trust me?"

"I... dunno."

"If... if I told you a secret, do you think you would trust me? I mean a really big secret and not something mundane like I love using blue grass to make salads, no more like... I know where Leggo the White Fox is. If I told you that, would you trust me?" Lou asked cautiously.

"If true then I would trust you." Sanic replied.

"What if I told you that Leggo is working for C.I.Z.A. because Bear has been making your community into a dangerous threat. I mean cubnapping cubs is outrageous by itself, but like you said he's been doing some very evil things.

My husband Leggo is the same Leggo the White Fox. I want you to come inside with me and we're going to his favorite bathroom. I'll bet you a million dollars that he's in there crying his eyes out that he'd lied to you. He really values you as a friend and he loves our sons more than life itself. Come with me but keep quiet so I can prove I'm not lying to you." Lou said and Sanic nodded. They made their way into the mansion with Lou leading and the maid came storming by.

"That damn fool is crying himself like a little bitch, I mean honestly who pissed on his boxers...oh, hi, cutie." The maid grumbled as she walked by Lou then she saw Sanic and gave him a polite boop to the nose before she continued to storm off.

"Leggo, are you alright?" Lou asked, raising his voice to speak through the closed door. Sanic crept closer and pressed his ear to it trying to hear better.

"I just feel awful," Leggo sobbed. I mean he trusts me and I have to lie. I'm the worst friend ever."

"No you're not, you just want to keep him safe right?" Lou asked, then he looked at Sanic.

"Of course, I hurt him before and when I saw his heart was broken I couldn't live with myself. Now I'm forced to do it again... He's right, I'm just a big mean bully that doesn't deserve any friends." Leggo continued sobbing and Lou gestered and he and Sanic went into Lou's office.

"Do you believe me now?" Lou asked patiently.

"I do but if C.I.Z.A. is involved then species will get hurt if they find us." Sanic explained.

"I've been working on a plan to make everything work out. I want to rebuild The White Citadel into The White Community. I want to keep everyone safe and provide a safe place for rare white fur species to live peacefully. I'm just afraid that Bear is too dangerous to be left to run things alone.

If you help me and follow the plan then I'll warn you before C.I.Z.A. invades so you can gather everyone in a safe location so no one gets hurt. C.I.Z.A. will charge in and arrest Bear and from that point we can see about fixing the whole mess so that everyone can benefit. Will you help me Sanic?"

"I will!" he replied.

Lou looked at the happy little hedgehog as he finished his chicken nugget then let out a loud burp.

"On my goodness, did that come out of you? That was impressive for a hedgehog of your size." Lou replied smiling and Sanic smiled back.

"Which reminds me, here." Sanic said as he took off his backpack and pulled a secret camera out of it. "I've recorded the entirety of the WC... plus I took some pictures of your sons and husband. Not the best pictures but I thought you might feel lonely." Sanic said. Lou bent low and gave Sanic a kiss on his cheek.

"You have no idea how much that means to me Sanic."

"Is it still safe?" Sanic asked and Lou rose and went to retrieve something from the safe in his office.

"Just like I promised no harm has come to this." Lou replied as he set a red panda squeak toy on the desk next to Sanic. The hedgehog picked it up and hugged it and Lou smiled as it made a squeak noise.

Since Sanic knew that Leggo was an agent with C.I.Z.A. Lou had gone out of his way to get a second red panda toy. Lou locked up the original and gave the second for Sanic to destroy when he would be forced to trick Leggo into revealing that he was an agent.

With Leggo under suspicion, Sanic would need to sever ties so that no one believed him to be allied with the agent. This meant that Sanic had to pretend to break the friendship with Leggo. In order for the reactions to be real Leggo would have no idea it was all fake. This unfortunately meant Sanic was the one to later cry his eyes out in the bathroom.

Sanic was given a special phone by Lou so they could communicate without anyone listening in on their conversation. This was how Lou was going to alert Sanic to the start of C.I.Z.A.'s invasion. Which was also part of his plan.

When Tyger and the others were to be abducted Sanic was supposed to put a fake collar on Tyger. The same kind of fake collar Will used to make C.I.Z.A. think he was Lou's slave. This would give Tyger freedom to carry out his end of the plan without anyone knowing it was him. Tyger would be forced to act like a slave as his brother and boyfriend were but at least he could do his mission without anyone suspecting him.

Lou had been pissed about the wedgie Tyger had given BH because he was afraid it might give him away but luckily Sanic had smooth things over making it look like a childish prank. Lou was going to have some strong words when he spoke to his son next.

"Come on son, help me with the groceries." BH ordered Tyger as Tyger struggled trying to carry three large brown paper bags from the car.

"Yes papa," he replied as BH carried in a single bag from the car. Leggo ran across the street once he was sure no cars were coming to join them.

"Hey, let me help you with those." Leggo replied as he took two bags from Tyger's grip.

"I wouldn't, he's lazy enough as it is." BH remarked. Leggo gave him a look.

"Yeah it's obvious seeing him carry 3 bags and you're only carrying... what? 1 bag? Yeah he's really lazy." Leggo replied sarcastically. BH put the bag down on the stairs leading to the front door.

"I need a free paw to get my keys out to unlock the door." BH countered.

"Well, give me the keys and I'll teach him how a man opens a door." Leggo replied and winked at Tyger.

"There a reason you're bothering us... stranger?"

"Well when I'm walking along and I see a light weight, limp wrist, carrying a single bag and calling his son, that's struggling with 3 bags, lazy. It tells me that I need to be a man and show the boy how things should be done so you can continue to be the lady of the house. So let me teach him how to be a man and you can go inside and put on one of your momma's dresses." Leggo remarked and BH stepped up and stood nose to nose with him both growling at each other.

"Please mister, he's right I am lazy. He even bought me a special cereal I wanted to try... so the least I could do is help him a little." Tyger lied and Leggo squatted down slightly to look at Tyger eye to eye.

"Show me," Leggo replied.

"Huh? Show you what?" Tyger asked as he averted his eyes as he looked at his feet.

"Show me this new cereal that he bought you." Leggo demanded.

"I... I'm not sure which bags it's in." Tyger lied again and his cheeks felt hot. Leggo stood back up and pushed the two bags into BH's arms.

"Fine, walk with me back to the store and show me what it looks like then we'll come back and check the bags." Leggo said.

"It's a long walk," Tyger replied.

"Go inside." Leggo ordered and Tyger obeyed as Leggo turned to face BH. "That cub just lied to me and saved your life. Understand me that species that abuse cubs really piss me off. I catch you pulling this shit again and you'll need a vet after I'm done with you." Leggo went over to him and then licked his face. "I got your scent and I will be watching you!" Leggo said as he turned to walk away.

"We don't take kindly to furs that threaten others here. You best watch yourself or someone might do something about it." BH replied.

"Keep acting like a bully and see what it gets YOU!" Leggo replied.
