Scenes of Love Part 2 The afternoon was spent solemnly between Scarlet and Sage. Scarlet had to make sure she spent time with her friends as well, so the day wasn't entirely for the two. But as it began to crawl down to the evening, Scarlet and Sage had to take some plans into action. Scarlet forgot about her worries of sex quickly and by the afternoon was excited to just show Sage what she had gotten him. He was a simple person, a bit too simple, so finding gifts for him could be a challenge. But Scarlet had found the one thing that she knew pleased him most. "It's time for dinner Sage!" The pink vixen called to him from the kitchen. Sage came quickly from the library and frowned when he saw the smirk on Scarlet's muzzle. She had gloves on that showed she must've made something, even if she's never cooked before. "What are we having?" He asked, confused. The blank expression made Scarlet giggle. "Your favorite." She waved him to follow her into the little kitchen. On the table was a silver plate stacked with Sage's meal; rabbits. There was a plate of steamed rabbits of all different colors. They were all dead, of course, but none tainted with. Scarlet knew she liked his naturally. Sage stared at the plate in delight and disbelief. "W-Why did you make this?" He wondered to her. Scarlet was not into rabbit eating at all. She had tried it a few times, but she didn't like to do it often, much less prepare a whole bunch of them. "Because I love you." She answered with a kiss on his cheek. The spirit of Valentine's Day was still crawling in her. "And you love them." She gestured to the rabbits. Sage grinned, his teeth ready to make a chomp at them. He left her side and began to work at the plate presented to him, eating the rabbits one by one, but each of them eaten whole. Scarlet noticed he never chewed food like that unless it was too big, which wasn't often. Scarlet watched him from a far. She loved to see him eat like that. It made him so happy and energetic and she liked it best when he was like this. She wished Valentine's Day would last longer, but it was only for one day. Even though she could do these activities on any day, doing it on a day designated for it when everyone else was doing it felt much more relieving. Scarlet was lucky she had already eaten, or she might've tried to have some herself. It didn't take Sage but more than ten minutes to finish the meal and when he was done, he sat back and sighed happily with a rounded belly. "You liked it, right?" Scarlet asked, already knowing the answer. "I loved it!" He replied while he licked his lips clean of the taste. Scarlet stepped beside him and kissed him again, rubbing his stomach where he was holding it. "Good. That was your present this year." She told him with satisfaction. She took the empty plate to the sink and threw her gloves away. "I'm going upstairs Sage." Sage nodded, too tired to move from the meal yet. Scarlet chuckled and left him, needing to go prepare herself for bed. She didn't have any other plans but to stay with Sage a bit and she wanted to get the cleaning over with. So upstairs she went, back to her bedroom. She looked out the window at the starry evening. The sunshine of the loving day was gone, but Scarlet loved the night even more. If it weren't so cold, and if she didn't want to stay with Sage, she would've gone for her usual night walk outside to gaze and take in the pleasant scenery. If only Valentine's Day were in the spring, then maybe Scarlet could gaze out there with Sage, but unfortunately that wasn't the case. The vixen went back to the mirror where she saw the locket Sage had given her that morning. It reminded her almost immediately about the lusts she had. Taking the idea into mind, she decided not to change or wash up just yet. She sat on the bed to wait for his arrival. It was only a few more minutes till her mate showed up inside the room with her. He answered a bit shyly, scotching himself beside her on the bed. Scarlet's ears and body perked up as he sat beside her. This was her perfect chance! Sage had set himself up! She had to find something to do, something smooth. "Um... I really like the gift you got me." She told him, holding the locket out. Sage nodded, liking it also. "I made most of it from sticks and plants." He explained. "It took long enough." She stared at the locket now. He made it himself? It must've taken forever to find those materials and put them together! "H-How long have you been working on this?!" She asked in disbelief. "Maybe a month of so." He shrugged. He never saw big importance in anything but Scarlet. "Wow..." Her image of the locket changed greatly. It was much more of a gift than she had thought. She had something Sage had made by hand, not bought. Scarlet had to buy some of the rabbits she gave Sage. "Sage..." Scarlet moved herself as close to him as she could get. "I love you so much..." She whispered and kissed him on his cheek, close to his mouth. Her thoughts of sex were overwhelmed with just those of love. She thought in her mind how sweet of a boyfriend she had and it shouldn't matter whether he'll have sex or not, she'll still love him. To Scarlet's surprise, since Sage usually let's Scarlet be dominant, Sage wrapped an arm around her back, holding her shoulder as he pulled her to his lips and kissed her directly. This time as she held the kiss on him, she pet closer to his waist and tapped the back of his tail, as he had done to her sometimes. Sage stopped to gasp a little. Scarlet knew the feeling there was pretty intense, so she chuckled when the kiss stopped. "Oh, Scarlet..." He moaned as she moved a little further, almost to his rump. "What are you doing?"
