The silver PTV drove into the Amistad airport parking lot, the driver located an empty spot and parked his vehicle into it.
A middle aged human, wearing a doctor's uniform, got out and proceeded to the main doors to the passenger lounge. He looked at the time, and saw that he was 5 minutes early.
I wonder how shi is now? He thought, going over to the cafe and ordering a cup of coffee.
It's been nearly 5 years since shi left to be trained by hir mothers mentor Maelstrom. Stephan was concerned, he was hir father after all, and hir well being was his top priority. Ever since the death of hir mother and his denmate, shi had changed in personality and attitude. Shi even had been getting into a lot of malicious incidents at school, shi was expelled from school and was told not to come back, unless hir attitude improved.
Now, shi was on hir why home, apparently partially cured. Hir anger had been diminished dramatically, as well as hir control over hir new found ability.
Somehow, maybe due to being emotionally linked to hir mother at hir point of death, Solarblaze had developed pyrokenetic powers. Now, shi has control over the dangerous ability. Sitting down, Stephan Glazer sipped his coffee, and waited for his daughter to arrive.

The private interstellar shuttle, owned and run by Maelstrom, made its final approach into Chakona airspace. Hy and hys co-pilot gave the landing and entering clearance, proclaiming 3 passengers and only personal luggage. Once they were given the all clear, the shuttle proceeded onto Private Landing Platform 3.
Once it touched down, Solarblaze waited until hir mentor gave the all clear, then grabbed hir backpack and made hir way to the shuttles hatchway. Once it opened, shi walked down the ramp and made hirway to the quarantine office.
In the past, quarantine procedures took 24 - 48 hours to complete, now, all it took was a full body scan, blood, urine and spinal fluid tests, which took no more than 45 minutes too complete.
Reaching the airlock, shi stepped inside, and waited for the air filter too decontaminate the air. Then afterwards, shi went through the inner doorway and sat on the chair, waiting for the doctor and hir assistant.
2 chakats came in, and started idle chatter, asking questions about where shi went, what life forms shi encounter. How long was shi there for?
After the tests, shi waited by talking to doctor, asking a few question about what was happening on Chakona. Soon, the tests came back too tell that shi was clear.
Bidding a fond farewell, Solarblaze made hirway to customs, hir papers and passport ready.
As shi was walking, shi was wondering what hir father's reaction would be to hir change in appearance? Shi wasn't the same little naive cub he knew 4 years ago, now shi's more confident and mature.
After the receptionist checked hir details by finger print and retinal scans to confirm who shi is, Solarblaze made hir way to the lounge, scanning for hir father, who shi sensed and smelled before shi saw him.
"Daddy!!" shi called, bounding over to the surprised human and hugged him furiously, covering his face with kisslicks and kisses.

Stephan was finishing his coffee, when the indicator informed him of the arrival and landing of Maelstrom's private shuttle. Getting up, he made his way to the where the other visitors were waiting. There was an average group of people waiting for loved ones or business acquaintances.
Stephan knew that he'll be waiting for another 45 minutes, but he didn't mind standing, he was excited about see his daughter again after being apart for so long.
He's got some news that'll either cheer hir up or make hir miserable, it depends on how shi is about seeing a shrink? He recalled the vid call he made yesterday afternoon during his lunch break...
Stephan was looking over the group of humans and furs, trying to find his daughter, when a large teenage chakat, with lime green hair and markings vaguely familiar came bounding over, calling out Daddy, before hugging him and kisslicking his face furiously.
"Whoa! Solar... is that you?" he exclaimed, surprised and confused.
"Yes daddy... um... I have change since I left." Shi replied, blushing as shi noticed that he was looking at hir medium sized breasts.
"How did you get so... big?" he asked, blushing as he also realized that he was looking at his own daughter's bust.
"Great nana accelerated the aging process, so I could mature enough for me to handle the... umm "Rage Within", as shi put it." Solarblaze explained, releasing hir father to gather hir belongings.
"And have you learned anything sweety?" Stephan asked, scritching hir ears softly, making hir purr.
Solarblaze just closed hir eyes and enjoyed the gentle loving touch of hir dad, whom shi had missed for so long.
Looking at him with a serious demeanour, shi nodded.
"I have understood the consequences of using my power un-checked, and I don't wanna see that level of devastation again." Shi whispered, as shi trembled with sorrow and guilt over the death and destruction shi had caused.
