#4 of Blood Moon

Damien coughed as he woke up in a haze of smoke, quickly running for the door to find his father. He was only fifteen and still working through his trials of manhood, having been ready for all of them for some time. As he ran outside he saw chaos all through the small village, burning homes pluming smoke up into the early morning sky. He quickly arched his back as his changed flowed through him, sped up immensely by his now growing rage. "Who in the hells has attacked our home?" He growled as he ripped an ax from a chopping block, hefting it in his hands as he strained his wolfin ears for sounds of fighting. A rage filled roar nearly startled him, before he burst into a flat run towards where it had come from.

He stumbled on a corpse and looked back at it, nearly falling as he saw it had been his mother. Tears streamed down his face as he looked at her arrow lined body, before he tilted his head up to roar into the smoke filled sky. He heard the thuds of horses hooves and spun around to lunge into the air, catching the armored horseman square in his unprotected face with the ax he held. He wrenched the man's shield from his dead hand, before taking off at a sprint in the direction he had come from. "Traitorous HUMANS!" He roared as he spun away from a longsword to smash a man's head with the back of his ax, using his momentum to launch himself at a crossbowman's throat. Blood sprayed his fur as he ripped the man's throat out with his powerful jaws, before he spat it into his face. He lunged forward again as he heard yet another roar, turning around the bend of a longhouse to see his father still trying to fight with a crippled leg.

Damien hurled his ax at an archer trying to finish his father off, before ripping a spear from a dead swordsman. He leaped into the air and impaled a horseman, landing in a roll to bring his shield up. Arrows thudded into the shield before he lunged again, slamming his arrow studded shield into the face of a longsword wielding man.

After what seemed like an eternity of blood and gore and death, he fell to his knees beside his father. He saw his father's weak eyes lock onto his own, knowing not even a werewolf could sustain that much blood loss. "Father..." He couldn't finish his sentence as his words failed him, and tears began to stream from his wolfin eyes.

Damien's father looked up at him and smiled weakly, feeling to coldness of death calling for his soul. "Son...take my sword and get my armor." He watched Damien look at him, his features screaming NO. "Damn it boy listen to me...Take them and run!" He dropped his sword at his son's feet, the pain fading from his body slowly. "RUN DAMN IT! RUN AND LIVE!" He coughed up some blood as he watched his son do as he had been ordered, before feeling death's cold hands take him.

Damien seemed to blink and found himself at his sister's home, he was now twenty and getting ready to head out on his own for good. He turned to see her tall form standing in front of the door defiantly as stood before her wearing their father's armor. "I must live my own life...let me leave dear sister." He felt the weight of the monstrous saber on his hip, having practiced every day since his father's death. "Besides...you have that little girl to look after." He looked over to the one year old vampire girl, his eyes locking onto the birthmark just under her pure white hair.

Damien's sister let a low growl from her as she shook her head. "No brother, I know what you intend to go and do now." Large heavily set runes glowed across her frame, the light showing through her clothes. I will not have you get yourself killed trying to avenge our family's deaths!" she focused and launched a blast of air at him, sighing as he cut her spell apart by just blocking it with their father's sword. "How dare you use that mage slayer in my home!" She watched him sheathe the enchanted sword, feeling a shiver flow through her at the mere sight of it.

"Sister...you know I would never use this blade to harm you." Damien said as he walked up to her and touched her shoulder. "I have something I must do, and then I intend to find a life of my own as you have." He watched a tear roll from her eye before she nodded, grunting as she hugged him tightly. "Don't worry sis, I will be alright. I was ordered to live and I shall honor his words..." He trailed off as her land slipped under his armor, before pressing against his stomach. He almost fell to his knees as pain spread through his stomach, her hand felt as if it were a branding iron. "What...are...you....doing?" He grunted between labored breaths, before he felt her hand pull away and he fell to his knees.

"Damien I have marked you and given you a gift." She smiled down at him as he looked at his stomach to see the wolfin paw print fading into his skin. "When that mark returns, you are to come see me." She watched shock fill his face as he looked up at her. "It's a mark of protection, binding you to our father's armor and all of the things it can do to keep you alive." She looked down to see the small girl yawn, knowing soon would come the whining of hunger. "Now go and live dear brother, I must tend to little Kari...I made a promise to her parents after all." She watched him nod and move towards the door, hearing it open. "But never forget dear brother...return to me when the mark returns to your flesh."

Damien stood in the throne room of the king, who had ordered his lands cleansed of all impure. "King Sandoval...why did you order your lands cleansed, especially when so many of our kind had served your kingdom in war but only ten years ago?" His voice was almost deathly calm as he talked, even though a sorcerer stood beside the King. His eyes never left the king's, even when he heard swords being unsheathed near him. His father had been in those wars, and Damien now war his full plate armor.

Sandoval sighed as he looked down at the young werewolf, knowing exactly what he was. "Listen young one...no matter what any creature may have done for this kingdom. It does not mean that I will not order them removed if they cease to be of any use. Your people turned back to their old ways and prayers and I could not allow such a thing to keep going on!" He slammed his fist on his large throne, anger filling his voice. "Just your kind alone caused the deaths of fifteen people and countless hunters in the year before I ordered your removal."

"So hunters shoot arrows at us and we're supposed to let them live. Farmers cut down our hunting lands without permission or even asking and we're supposed to let that pass." He glared through his helm at the king, feeling the armor almost mold to his body as he started to turn. "You didn't order us removed KING!" His change overtook his body, the armor shifting with it and molding to his body's new form. "You ordered us cleansed from your lands...butchered at first light while we slept in our beds." He drew his sword and felt multiple arrows thud against the armor covering his back, never taking his eyes from the king. "I am the son of Lord Bloodbane, and I have come for the life he saved twenty years ago!" He darted forward and lashed out with his blade to cut a fire blast spell in two, hearing the soldiers behind him scream as they were engulfed. He lashed out with his sword again, growling as he felt it tear through cloth, blood, and bone.

King Sandoval leaped away from his throne as his sorcerer was slaughtered with a single stroke, watching the hulking armored werewolf turn towards him. "Your...HIS SON?" He exclaimed as he backed against a pillar, watching as Damien wrenched his blade free. His eyes locking onto the blade and then the armor, both of which had been given at the coronation. "I'm so sorry...I thought he had died in war...I didn't know he had lived. I would have never ordered such a thing if..." He trailed off as the blade was brought to his throat, seeing the black metal already stained with blood.

"Even if he was dead...you should have never ordered a slaughter King Sandoval, and eve you know this." He heard the throne room doors swing open as soldiers filled the room, though he watched as King Sandoval slumped in defeat at his words. "I Damien Bloodbane order you to be beheaded for betraying the man who once saved your life, and the deaths of countless innocents that you ordered cleansed!" He finished the formal order and watched as King Sandoval raised his head, ready for the killing stroke. In a flash of black steel, Damien cleaved the king's head from his shoulders. As the head tumbled to the ground he looked back at the soldiers, wiping the king's blood on his own robes. "Go back to your Lords and Ladies and tell them what has happened here. Tell them that there will be no more slaughtering of innocents, or they will suffer the same fate as King Sandoval has." He watched the weary faces before him, knowing no man would dare try to attack him after he hand slayed the king's sorcerer. "See that he has a proper resting place first, with his family that fell before him." He watched a few men nod, knowing these men were soldiers of the land like his father had been.

Damien awoke slowly to find himself in his home, laying in one of the chairs he had purchased a week ago. He checked his side and found it healed, wondering just how long he had been passed out. His eyes found his mate laying asleep on their bed, with her head atop their lover's breasts as she snored peacefully. He smiled as he slowly got up, grabbing a bottle of blood wine as he started to make his way for the hot spring. After taking a long drink from the bottle he dove deep into the warm water, swimming to the deepest spot. His large hand gripped the handles of the chest he had left there ten years ago, pulling it behind him as he swam to the surface. After he shook the water from his body, he hefted the chest onto his shoulder. He carried it up to the main room and turned to see Fang groggily waking from her slumber, her eyes going wide was she saw him set the heavy chest onto the table. He felt Fang's small arms grip him tightly from behind, feeling her small pregnant belly touch his rear as her breasts pressed against his lower back.. "How long have I been passed out my love?"

"Two days...you had us worried my love." She eased her grip and watched him turn around, feeling his hand lightly touch her growing stomach. She felt him grip her bare rear, before she was lifted up into his loving arms. She pressed her lips to his in a loving and long kiss, which seemed to last forever. Then she felt his hand moved through her hair to bare the birthmark she had never told him about, watching as he seemed to know exactly where it was. "What is it my mate? Do you find that mark ugly?" She asked as she watched him smile deeply.

"No my Kari...my fanged mate..." He watched as shock blossomed across Fang's face, before seeing her face turn somewhat knowing. "My dreams reminded me of when I left my sister's home, and the little girl she had been entrusted to raise. Eight decades is a long time...my mate." He watched her smile and then leaned in to kiss her lovingly, feeling her namesake graze his lip.

Fang broke the kiss after a moment and smiled at Damien lovingly. "Eve will be proud of you, and what a kind and loving man you are now." She found her legs steady enough as he let her back to her feet, though her eyes moved to the chest now dripping water over their table. "Just so you know...I prefer the name your sister gave me." She watched him nod, before his eyes followed hers to the chest. "Is that what I think it is?"

Damien's hand moved to the heavy lock on the chest, ripping it free before he dropped it onto the table. "Yes my mate...it is...." Damien set the chest on the floor, before opening the lid. He smiled as he saw not a speck of tarnish or rust on the heavy armor he had stowed away ten years ago, having known he would never had to worry about it. He slowly started to take piece after piece of armor from the chest, laying them out on their large table. The last thing he removed was his sword, leaving it in it's heavy sheathe as he laid it on the table next to his armor.

"Well are you going to just stare at it, or are you going to put it on?" Fang said somewhat impatiently as she folded her arms beneath her breasts. She heard him chuckle, before hearing Sarah's snoring pick up some. "Maybe we should go outside before we wake hir up..." After getting a nod from Damien she moved to gather her shorts and vest, slipping Sarah's cloak over herself last.

Sarah roused an hour or so after Damien and Fang had went outside, blinking the sleep from hir eyes as shi found hirself alone. Shi moved down to the hit spring and sighed, before deciding to get dressed and check outside. Shi slipped on hir leather pants and put on her breast wrap, before deciding to forgo a shirt or vest and slipped on hir boots. As shi exited the cave and moved through the home they had added onto the front, shi heard the distinct sound of arrows thudding into a shield. Shi moved quickly and dropped out of an open window, nearly gasping as shi saw Fang launching arrow after arrow at an armored figure. As Fang's quiver emptied Sarah leaped forward and hurled a strong blast of air at the figure, hir runes glowing as she concentrated. She could only stare as the figure dropped the arrow covered shield to draw it's sword, the spell dieing as soon as it touched the black blade. Hir jaw dropped as shi heard Fang chuckle, watching as Damien removed the helm on his armor. Shi regained her composure as shi put two and two together, finally realizing what Damien's full name was now. "That's why you have never said your full name...." Shi shivered as shi looked at him sheathe the mage slayer, the one weapon every sorcerer and sorceress feared to have drawn on them. "Your Lord Damien Bloodbane, the King slayer. A man that slayed his king to stop the cleansing of all non human creatures from the kingdom. A man we were taught to fear during our training, because you wield the mage slayer." Shi watched him nod, while Fang worked at yanking her arrows from the wood shield he had been holding.

"Yes, some still refer to me as the King slayer. Does that bother you to know my full name now?" Damien asked as Fang moved beside him and held up four broken arrows, making him shrug some. "Not too bad, I only missed four of them." He looked back to Sarah. "I have not wielded this blade, nor wore this armor in ten years. I have slain four sorcerers in self defense only, I take no pleasure in taking lives."

Sarah sighed as shi looked closely at his armor, seeing how well it fit his form. "No this doesn't change anything Damien, it will just take me some time to get used to being around that weapon. Let alone seeing it." Shi shivered some at the thought, before watching him start to remove the armor. After a moment shi watched him stack the upper half of his armor into a neat pile on the side of the small house. "You know a few of the townspeople brought the windows for us yesterday...along with the armor and sword of the warmonger. I think you have definitely earned their approval, at least since you killed a fellow werewolf." Shi watched him shrug, knowing he had done what needed to be done.

Fang moved to Sarah and turned as she heard Damien grunt in pain, seeing him nearly double over as he clutched his stomach. She and Sarah quickly rushed to his side, before seeing him shiver and stand straight. Her eyes went to his stomach, seeing the large paw shaped rune on it. "I have only seen one sorceress use that sort of rune...."

Sarah watched as Damien scooped up the armor he had taken off, having never seen a rune like the one on his stomach. That truly peaked hir curiosity as shi and Fang followed him into the small house, her eyes going to the windows she had installed the evening before. After they had entered the cave, shi looked him over once more. His entire way of even carrying himself had changed, moving more fluidly after he had worn the armor. "So what is going to happen now Damien?" Shi asked with a slightly worried tone in hir voice, while Fang seemed to not be affected at all by the sudden changes.

Damien turned to look at Sarah, a smile slowly forming on his face as he looked at hir. "We get to take a nice little vacation...the three of us." He turned and looked at Fang, who was now sitting in a chair with a hand lightly running over the small bulge in her stomach. "And you my mate for once get to travel a distance during the day time, though I must ask you to wear a cloak. Sunburn is a problem for anyone who stays in the sunlight too long." He heard her giggle some as he watched her small hands once again check the ever so light tan that had graced her pale flesh, before removing the rest of his armor. He turned and noticed the confused look on Sarah's face and chuckled lightly. "Don't worry Sarah, we are going to see my sister. She's the one who gave me this mark eighty years ago, telling me to return to her when it returned to my flesh.."

"So your sister is a werewolf Sorceress?" Shi asked as shi watched him quickly shift his form, noticing his eyes almost seem to glow as he finished. "Where exactly are we going to go to find her?" Shi was answered with an almost booming laughter as he moved to hir side, feeling his hot breath on hir neck.

"In a place where most mortal men and women would never dare to step, the spire atop Mount Fire..." He watched her eyes get large with shock, before Fang's laughter broke his own mask. He nearly doubled over laughing while Sarah looked between him and Fang, confusion covering hir face. "Good lord woman, do you honestly think a werewolf would try to live there?" His wolfin face still twisted with humor, though he watched hirs turn slowly to anger. "She lives back east in the mountains near diggers peak, though you might call it a gift from a king who didn't want to end up like his father." He laid a hand on his furred stomach as it growled. "I haven't eaten in two days, So I'll go catch us some lunch. We can't dare leave until tomorrow morning...I don't want to be on the road with a full moon above out heads." And with the he dashed out of the cave, leaving the two women by themselves.

Fang left the cloak in the chair as she stood, moving over and uncorking a bottle of blood. "You know his sister Eve may be able to teach you a few things, after all she is one hundred and forty three years old." She turned and watched as Sarah sat don at the table tipping up a bottle of blood wine. "Whats bothering you love?" She asked as moved to Sarah's side, rubbing hir shoulder some as she sipped at her own bottle.

Sarah took another heavy drink from the bottle, before shi looked over hir shoulder at Fang. "Have you ever seen his eyes like that before?" Shi asked as Fang sat down beside hir.

Fang nodded and smiled. "He is a warrior through and through, even though power is strong in his bloodline. He could have learned the arts many years ago, but his sister told me that he refused even at a young age." Her small hand gently rubbed at Sarah's thigh, as she slowly found that the blood was yet again not curing her hunger. Her body still rejected solid foods, which aggravated the hell out of the vampire woman. She knew one place to get the protein her pregnant body now needed. "Sarah...can I ask a favor of you again?" She asked as she watched Sarah's eyebrow raise, before her small hand moved to rub hir crotch.

Sarah grunted as shi felt Fang's hand run over hir sheath, before shi scooted out hir chair and stood. "I think the bed is more proper for this time, even though your hungry the dinner table is not a proper place..." Shi had to admit that thanks to the full moon speeding up their reproductive tracks, shi was getting a bit pent up. Shi shucked her pants and sat down on the bed, before removing her breast wrap. Hir eyes traveled to Fang as she walked up to hir, smiling as shi saw Fang's perky breasts bounce some with her steps.

As Fang got to Sarah she leaned down and kissed hir passionately, before she knelled down between hir legs. She ran her small hands along the other woman's engorged shaft, cracking her neck some. "You look a little pent up..." She leaned forward and licked hir tapered tip, before taking the first few inches into her mouth. She listened to Sarah's moans of pleasure as she started to bob her head, keeping one hand on hir shaft while the other moved to hir folds.

Sarah shuddered as she felt Fang's talented fingers dip into her folds and rub at hir clit, hir arms giving out some as shi laid back on the bed. Hir hands went to hir own breasts, rubbing and kneading at them as shi moaned. Shi suddenly looked down as shi felt half hir shaft become enveloped in Fang's mouth, gawking for a moment as shi watched the vampire woman take hir into her throat. "Ca...care....careful Fang." Shi shuddered and moaned some, laying back on the bed as Fang seemed to take that as a challenge.

Damien finished cleaning and gutting the deer he had killed, having eaten a set of ribs by himself already. He looked over at the bottles of blood he had filled, deciding to leave them in the addition. He dropped the rest of the carcass into the cold chest that Sarah had enchanted for them, before he heard Sarah yell out in pleasure. He chuckled to himself as he walked down to the cave door silently, slipping inside as he timed his louder movements with Sarah's moans. He crept behind Fang as he watched her head bobbing rapidly on Sarah's shaft, noticing Fang's legs were spread some. He crept up right behind her and waited a moment, his human body now almost aching with need as he watched them.

Fang felt Sarah's body go rigid, taking hir shaft deep into her own throat as her fingers went haywire against hir clit. She felt Sarah's seed pump through hir shaft and into her stomach, making Fang shiver lightly as the warmth filled her. After a moment the flow subsided and she pulled Sarah's shaft from her mouth, sighing contently as her hunger faded. She was about to say something to Sarah, when she felt a pair of large hands grip her hips. She turned her head just in time to see her mate Damien smiling at her, before he bucked his hips forward. She moaned lewdly as she was so suddenly filled with his human shaft, a shudder passing through her as his hips rested against hers. "Nice to see you too Damien..." She trailed off as he slowly pulled from her, only to thrust back into her hard enough to make her breasts bounce. Fang moaned as she turned her attention back to Sarah's shaft.

Sarah was just starting to come out of the blissful afterglow of hir mind shattering orgasm, when shi felt Fang's mouth return to hir shaft. Shi looked down to see Damien thrusting hard into Fang, while his vampire mate was starting to lick and suckle at hir sensitive shaft with renewed fervor. She archer hir back and cried out as Fang's hand returned to their assault on hir folds, while she was grace by Damien's grunts and Fang's muffled moans. Shi felt hir orgasm near just before shi screamed out as Fang once again took hir shaft into her throat. Darkness claimed her as shi came, falling limp and silent on the bed as hir seed filled the rest of Fang's stomach.

Sarah woke sometime later to hear Fang and Damien's voices, slowly finding the strength to sit up. Shi saw them sitting naked in the chairs at the table, before smelling the scents of fresh cooked meat. "How long have I been out?" Shi asked as shi moved over to the table on slightly wobbly legs, before sitting in a chair next to Damien.

Damien slid a plate of deer meat in front of Sarah, before chuckling as shi tore into it with hir bare hands. "You've been out for an hour I think." He looked over at Fang and smiled, letting Sarah have hir fill. "I Figure if we start out a little after dawn we can make it a good ways out before having to sent up camp. We can load enough supplies for us and the mules to reach the next town easily."

Fang smiled and nodded to her mate, watching as Sarah calmed down and started to use a fork. "We should be able to get plenty of sleep too...though that means we will have to stop tonight's fun at a decent time." She watched as Sarah looked up from hir food for the first time. "Or have you forgotten Sarah that this is the last night of the full moon.?"

Sarah guzzled a large mug of water and sighed. "You know something....one of these days you two are gonna kill me..." The all shared a good laugh at hir morbid joke, though she watched Fang and Damien share a serious look for a split second. "What?"

Damien smiled at Sarah after getting a nod from Fang. "Actually Sarah we had a thought about the three of us..." He watched Sarah's eyes turn slightly nervous. "We were thinking of taking you as our mate tonight...." He trailed off as he watched hir smile happily, turning his attention then to Fang. "Looks like tonight is going to be fun then...."
