Vast hangar bay doors creaked slowly open, a shaft of light slipping between the widening vertical crack. Amid the hum of equipment and the liquid throb of fuel lines, the prototype watched the sunlight creep in.

The "Autonomous Lift Inter-Continental Express" (A.L.I.C.E.) stood shrouded in the darkness that would soon be banished by the advancing rays. Alice was a lady of impressive proportions, and pedigree. An experimental new aircraft system -- intelligent, self-aware -- an offshoot of top secret military research currently trialling for civilian use. Few had seen her outside of the base; maybe a hiker wandering the wilds, or someone visiting her ground crew, would have caught a fleeting glimpse. To the world, though, she didn't exist. Her test flights had all been conducted with the utmost secrecy in the remote empty lands around her home base, where she'd been brought after assembly on a pitch-black night four months ago.

A product of concealment, a life undercover. It was beginning to irk her.

"DISENGAGE!"

A loud, booming announcement thundered through the intercom system, rattling the hangar with sound. Alice saw the sliver of light split the far end of the hangar, and her body heaved a great sigh as she could finally switch to visible light sensors.

The black strip that ran across her face where one's eyes usually were changed tint, unveiling two complex optical arrays modelled after the human vision system, with plenty of enhancements for a cybernetic being like herself. She squinted -- at least, that's what appeared to happen as her visor darkened in patches to block the excess light as it painted a stripe down her face. And what a face...

Broad. Rounded like a passenger jet. A big, spherical snout and smooth, flawlessly-white metal skin. Flat too, with minimal exposed features like ears, or horns -- the only protrusions a pair of swept-back control surfaces. Thin knife-like triangles jutting back from the sides of her head a 45-degree angles and spread out horizontally to about ten degrees, resembling ears. Her other distinguishing facial feature was the plump, black swell of rubber and synth-polymer composite that were her lips -- puffy pillows adorning her closed mouth; thick slabs designed to form an incredible seal even at high altitude. Everywhere else was blank, no openings...no need to breathe (yet), except for several lines of colour painted atop her white basecoat.

Alice was far more than a machine. That much was clear even from what could be seen in the sparse illumination. It was only the small figures flitting about on gantries that gave away the enormity of the creature slowly being revealed...

An aeromorph -- a flying machine built in the image of a person. Thirty feet tall (thirty-one if we include her 'ears'). Naked, or soon to be as a slow process of disengagement heralded by the booming voice began with a number of support structures and scaffolding moved away from her, taking with them pipes and tubes that had been previously fixed to her body.

"Ouch!"

The two largest connectors broke off, separating from her and swinging away as klaxons blared, warning her tiny crew-mates to stand clear. In their absence, a massive pair of breasts hung from her chest. Enormous fuel tanks filled to the brim, their nipples dripping with spillover as the access caps sealed shut. The trickle of orange-brown aviation fuel followed the curves of her cleavage as it rolled and plunged, staining the pure-white paint job and disappearing against the solid black patch of her belly.

As the small amount of residual pain from the disengagement ran through her system, the huge female raised her left hand and rubbed most of the spilt fuel from her bosom. Large, articulated fingers deftly graced her divine form, soft tips filled with tactile sensors driving vast quantities of data to her positronic brain -- home to a composite personality matrix, produced from a multitude of cerebral scans of human volunteers compiled into a living consciousness.

Her hand travelled from her breasts to her mouth, her jet-back lips parting and a gunmetal-grey tongue worming its way out from its den. The serpentine tip of her tongue licked her stained fingers, tasting the fuel. A 'purr' was heard by some as the aeromorph revelled in the sweet taste. Then, without much extra movement, she returned her arms to her sides, waiting for things to clear.

Careful,_she reminded herself, _you don't want to bump into anything.

Questions had arose in government briefings about the programme, and this didn't stop when corporate contractors got involved. Questions surrounding the efficacy of such a...unique solution to pilot fatigue, human error, and other sundry issues of long-range aerial transport. Making the pilot and plane 'one and the same' was certainly a novel way of looking at it. Some would say wasteful. Nevertheless, the green light had been given, and Alice was the result.

When designs for the A.L.I.C.E. prototype had been unveiled, they certainly raised a few eyebrows. "Rest assured," people in the know were told, "any resemblance to the form or function of a female adult human is purely coincidental, a mere byproduct of the design goals specified." Not sure if anyone believed this, but in the eyes of the decision-makers it had been agreed. There was no turning back, and now, after years of painstaking effort, she was ready.

Ready for her 'maiden' intercontinental flight.

Enough equipment had moved away to give one a good full look at this new goddess of the skies. Like her top half, her bottom half was the perfect facsimile of a beautiful, curvaceous woman. From the midsection of her fuselage to between her legs her belly had been painted black, sides and thighs white, knees capped with white and ringed with some nice blue stripes and lettering. Some seams at the joints were dark grey, others a lighter shade. Behind the knees and opposite the elbows had a more flexible, accordion-like substance that accommodated a wide angle of extension and compression as one moves their arm. The same construction was found in parts of her ankle and wrist, with her fingers hosting the most elaborate set of hydraulic and pneumatic mechanisms to approximate true (possibly superhuman) dexterity. Alice's every motion was a calculated procedure of maximum mobility with minimum energy cost.

That being said, somewhere in her personality matrix lay a flair for the expressive. A fragment of her creation, seeded by an unknown (to her) volunteer long ago, when her mind was a mere codebase gestating on a hyper-computer buried somewhere in the salt flats a thousand miles from here.

Another loud_CLANK_ broke the rumbling peace of the hangar. The forty-foot assembly that had sported her fuel lines locked itself against the far wall a safe distance from the mammoth machine-girl. She turned her head and regarded the installation coldly, with a spark of warmth spared for the tiny figures scuttling about its scaffolds in single-colour jumpsuits and hard-hats. Her 'little helpers' as she'd nicknamed them. Delicate and cute. Her psyche reinforced the notion that it was her job to help them. That's why she was here, after all.

"FINAL INSPECTION!"

The loudspeaker voice boomed again, and Alice responded, her voice a close to a whisper as she could manage:

"Ahhh...a few more minutes, please..."

Acting like a grumpy sleep-deprived human wouldn't engender any respect from her superiors, so the metal giantess quickly stopped pouting and lifted her leg, taking her first step closer to her maiden flight.

A huge rubber-soled foot came crashing down on the concrete floor. It pressed down with incredible force, a loud_whoosh_of air escaping from underneath the massive object. Internal dampeners in her joints squealed as they got their first taste of action. The solid grey-back slab of rubber wedded to the base of her 'landing gear' compressed and firmed as it sealed itself against the ground. A small flex through the main articulations gave the top of her foot the appearance of a silken slipper -- a single soft mass of synthetic tissue curling and relaxing as her muscles worked out the kinks in their motion.

Alice looked down at the floor -- from her perspective the markings and lettering was unreadable unless she applied zoom to her vision. That wasn't important, however. The details need not concern her, just the two large yellow circles she was supposed to stand on in front of an exposed balcony.

Swinging her leg and bringing the rest of her body around, the aeromorph walked the couple of strides necessary to reach her next station. She smiled when she saw her ground crew emerge, her upper chest level with the ledge. Giving them a small curtsey and a smile in greeting, Alice prepared for the next step.

"Link active. Can you copy?"

A new voice crackled to life, static fizzling in the background. This one reached her internal comlink -- a private line of communication with her and the base control personnel.

Alice maintained her pleasant expression while she sent an electronic reply: "this unit copies. Ready for final inspection procedure."

"You know the drill. Over."

Alice brought her arms up and cupped her breasts, lifting the enormous 'fuel tanks' so that her steel-capped nipples found their way to within reach of the gathering ground crew. The first in a checklist of inspections had begun once she'd stopped heaving her bosom into place. Two teams of three began a physical examination of the refuelling ports in the centre of her nipples.

As they busied themselves, a second group ran a gantry atop her cleavage and scaled the mounds of her chest until they reached her shoulders, then they used an impressed set of rungs that ran from her 'collarbone' to her head -- where they plugged diagnostic equipment just below her winged ears.

A third crew busied themselves at ground level, whom Alice had noticed scurrying about in the corner of her eye. They poked and prodded at her feet and ankles, checking for malfunction in the joints and mechanisms there.

With the humans bustling all over her, making such a fuss of ensuring she was ready to go, Alice couldn't help but giggle at the sensation of all their tiny hands and machines and probes pressing against her cybernetic skin. Tickling the gentle giantess. Careful enough to avoid letting her body shake with laughter, she parted her lips and produced an audible titter.

"Try to keep it professional, A.L.I.C.E." scorned ground control, speaking her name like it was nothing more than an acronym.

"Sorry sir," she said, both aloud and over comms. She cleared her throat and continued: "this unit is ready for the payload."

With the go-ahead from the inspection crew given, they removed themselves from her presence. Alice was left to exit the hanger on her own.

Daylight greeted her as she made her way to the open hangar doors. Those vast steel barriers that had kept her away from the world for days on end, undergoing constant maintenance -- double- and triple-checking her systems so she could be signed off on. Alice sauntered, her fuselage-body swaying with confidence as she walked. The_thoom-thoom-boom_ of her heavy footfalls felt so quiet to her, and now that her human helpers had scurried away to parts unknown she was free to move without concern for stepping on anyone.

Thoom-thoom-CRACK!!!

Maybe she was a tad overconfident...

Alice lifted her foot off of the unmanned tanker truck that had lain in her path. Now trodden upon and crushed by her immense weight, the wreckage seeped with oil as its destroyer swore:

"Fuck!"

Her controllers overheard her exclamation, and were quick to investigate.

"A.L.I.C.E. -- what's your status?"

"Status normal. Minor encounter with a misplaced vehicle. No danger to personnel. No damage to this unit." She put on her best poker face -- though no-one was there to see it -- and continued on her way.

As she walked, the remnants of the truck sloughing off her damp sole, Alice began to breathe.

'Breathing' for her was a sharp continuous inhalation of air from two small slits on her nose, and four much larger intakes mounted to her shoulders, feeding turbofan engines which now sparked to life. The rush of air through her nose-intakes produced a sensation of coolness; olfactory sensor arrays monitored the temperature and particle composition of the air she now 'breathed'.

A gust formed behind her as her engines spooled. Two exhausts jutted from her calves, their output breezing over her ankles with steadily-warming air. A third central exhaust was found just above the swell of her rear -- its round opening casting heat over her enormous ass. If one shifted their gaze upwards, following the path of her spine, they would see a set of wings sprouting from her back -- their span broad enough to keep her aloft but stubby enough to avoid entangling with her arms when moving. Auxiliary engines dotted their length. Small inlets and outlets ready to assist with heaving her massive body into the sky.

Passing through the hangar exit, Alice soaked in the warm sun as it beat down on her white-and-black form, its heat both reflected and absorbed by disparate surfaces. The aeromorph found herself a nice spot on the vast concrete runway adjacent to the hangar, and spotted an advancing motorcade: two ground vehicles bringing her test flight cargo.

She quietened the roar of her engines for the benefit of the oncoming humans.

"Control," she radioed in, "this unit is awaiting payload."

"Payload en route, over."

"Confirmed. Over."

With her turbines running low, she stood still, their small gusts around her legs carrying flecks of dirt away in miniature eddies -- swirling winds light enough to avoid harm, but strong enough to knock stuff over. She grimaced and adjusted her engine power yet again, trying to demonstrate her control. Luckily, she was able to calm the gales within and keep her surroundings still. She felt it, however. Deep inside. The yearning to let loose. After ages cooped up in a building with no opportunity to exercise barring scheduled tests, her engines were thrumming with anticipation. The vibrations coursing through her insides were intoxicating. All she wanted to do at this moment was ignite all turbines and roast the asphalt with her afterburners, property damage be damned!

She calmed herself, and was reminded by her positronic conscience that she was supposed to show discipline, lest the programme be cancelled and she mothballed. The threat hung ever-present in her mind -- the consequences of failure. No-one was going to pay billions to keep her around without a use; she may be a sentient being, but she was also an expensive piece of kit.

The convoy stopped ten metres in front of her, and several drivers and crew members hopped out to greet her. Alice replied with a restrained nod, and seeing them give her a thumbs-up as the cargo capsule was set in place pleased her. Everything was going according to plan.

Her 'payload' soon stood alone on the runway. A silver pillar, fat in the middle and tapering at the extremes. Twice as long than it was wide. Held upright by a small frame affixed to its base. Its contents were irrelevant -- dummy material to weigh it down, simulating a load of real cargo. All that mattered was the payload was secure, transportable within the prototype, and capable of resisting any forces that could crush it during transit.

In short: a big, shiny, pressurised dildo.

...

Her designers had yet to formulate an excuse for_that_ particular detail.

...

The convoy crew had retreated a short distance back and set about spraying it down with lubricant. No prizes for guessing where it was going to be carried. Alice looked at the capsule, bemused.

Why __are_ people so concerned with how this works?_ She often wondered, overhearing the occasional snide remark or protesting comment. It all made sense. Why wouldn't it. She was designed to efficiently transport cargo containers of this type across long distances, without needing human intervention or control. She was autonomous, capable of making her own decisions when in flight, and could react to the unexpected: a bad storm, for example. She'd heard stories about what happened when humans attempted to pilot aircraft...so cruel, she thought, making them suffer when they don't need to...not anymore...

A surge of triumphant self-assuredness buoyed her spirits. She was going to ace this trial! Who cares what some humans felt about why she was built this way. Who cares about people's hang-ups about the part of her fuselage they referred to as the 'butt'?

Once coated in a layer of liquid lubricant, the crew clambered back aboard their vehicles and pulled away. Zooming in on their faces, Alice spied a couple of embarrassed looks among them.Pfft! she thought, humans are weird.

"Payload ready. Prepare to load."

Alice confirmed with her superiors that she was a-go for the flight. Slowly, avoiding the human vehicles, she stepped forward, bringing her titanic body in position above the capsule. The nearby personnel were treated to a full view of her underside, front and rear -- every part of her that had been censored in the official schematics, now bared for all to see. There were a fair few female members of the ground crew present who did not have the best opinion of the display happening before them, or the not-so-subtle chauvinism present among the designers of this bodacious behemoth.

All this time her engines had behaved, creating only a slight breeze behind her. Alice made sure to maintain that level as she began to bend her knees. Gradually filling the view of the onlookers like some sexy horror film, her lower body moved closer and closer. Joints creaked and metal surfaces groaned as her whole body bent down.

Finally, she was in position. The aeromorph squatted above the capsule's length, her ass gently falling towards the tip. Her audience next watched her enormous cheeks part, spreading as her hips splayed and thighs stretched wide. A solid grey-black patch of tightly-sealed rubber compound could be seen -- bordered by yellow-and-black striped warning lines. Bunched up, the entrance to her 'cargo bay' descended with the rest of her, small twitches in the dark pucker of her asshole signalling her eagerness to begin the loading process .

Sinking onto the steel tip of her payload, Alice paused for a moment. She sensed her entrance kiss the cold metal -- sending the sensors embedded in that part of her body reeling from the rapid temperature change. Just a couple of metres further up, her main exhaust rumbled as she lost control for a split-second. A burst of excitement kicking up more dust around the runway. She felt the damp wet tip press against her, and relaxed her muscles to accept it.

A loud slick noise ensued as she pushed the lubricated tip of the cargo capsule into her ass. Pressing down, feeling it stretch her rear entrance, the large lady could only grit her metallic teeth and bear it. The first portion of its length had sunk into her tight ass, and the growing girth as she descended towards the middle of the capsule forced a response:

"Ah-aah!" she gasped, quickly followed by a moan as her surprise turned to a strange sense of pleasure. No-one had told her it would feel so...so_good_...

"Status report," barked the voice on the comlink. Alice held off on replying for a moment while she steadied her quivering ass -- nerve-circuits firing like a drunken gunslinger. Another wobble in her engine control reared its ugly head as she fought her instincts, ingrained so deep within her machine consciousness it was no mere impulse, but a divine command.

Steady...keep it steady, she told herself, we're not taking off just yet. Juuussstt yet...

Those watching saw her grip her legs with significant force as her hole expanded around the glimmering silver tower. Her body looming large in the ground crew's vision. As she got closer to the ground, and the gusts from her running engines began to batter them, many beat a hasty withdrawal -- removing themselves to safer distances, away from the giant ass cheeks of doom.

"Nnghg-nothing adverse to report sir, loading as planned."

"Good. Keep the noise to a minimum, A.L.I.C.E."

"Yuh-yes sir," she answered, biting down on her fat rubber lip, desperate to conceal the extent by which the payload's entry was driving her wild. "Over..."

Her whole body clenched. Over half of the capsule had been swallowed by her hungry aperture. And with that came the thickest part -- threatening to tear her synthetic sphincter with its girth. Alice forced herself to continue -- feet digging into the concrete as they curled, ripping up what might as well have been solid rock for all the resistance it offered to her immense strength. Cracks spread out from her, tearing up the runway. This hastened the retreat of even the bravest humans present.

Huffing as she took more and more, her engine exhausts fluttering as she breathed erratically, Alice took as much length as she could while squatting. With the bulk of the capsule inside her, she decided it was time to stand. Lifting her body, the capsule's exposed end sticking out of her ass, the prototype rose to her full height. A couple of concentrated motions, flexing her lower body, and all that remained visible of the cargo was a slick nub that rapidly disappeared into the closing pucker between vast, aeromorphic cheeks. A wet squelch as her sphincter closed behind it and a small trickle of lubricant down her thighs were now the only evidence of this bizarrely-erotic episode.

Alice struggled to remain upright as the movement of the solid object within her caused irritation. She brought her hands down to feel her belly and back, sensing her insides stretching to accommodate the payload. She felt a couple of welded seams pop, making a note to get that checked after her flight.

The pressure of the capsule inside her as it settled soon reached a bearable level. Her body was built tough -- but still it was an ordeal to get comfy with a two-tonne plug in her ass.

After a final status report with the base control tower, and the cargo unit resting in her guts, Alice walked away from the loading site. Her pounding footfalls rippled through the runway surface, shaking pebbles for a mile around. With the added weight inside her, her frame had to work overtime to support her and the payload. A couple of steps later, she broke into a stride, heading towards her take-off site, humming a merry tune.

"This unit is ready for take-off," she beamed as she stood within the marked circle on the runway. Placing her arms on her hips while she took a breather, she glanced around at the base. Everything looked so far away now. A few steps for her was an incredible pace for a human, and it showed. The hangar she'd been living in was the only significant landmark still in sight. The rest had blended into the backdrop of rolling hills and dry brush.

Alice's optics zoomed in on the loading site, and she watched the humans pack things up and depart, speeding over the bumpy cracked ground she'd inadvertently created. A six-wheeled truck trundled over one of the fissures and bounced, launching the entire rear half into a metre-high kick that came crashing down fast, putting its suspension through its paces. She giggled at the minuscule vehicle's tumultuous travels and the angry gestures between the two humans in the cabin she could spy through windscreens.

Turning around, the whole wide world beckoned. Alice closed her eyes (or rather: she dimmed her visor). She moved her body into a relaxed posture, and listened to the many sounds of nature. Now she could finally experience it, and most of all...the greatest joy a being like her could achieve. The one thing ingrained in her psyche since her mind first formed:

Flight.

She opened her eyes. The big blue sky lay ahead -- with nary a wisp of cloud in her projected flight path. After a moment's respite, drinking in the majesty of the world, her comlink burst back into life:

"A.L.I.C.E. you are a-go for take-off. Flight plan approved. No alterations. You may begin your test flight. Over."

No-one could she the smile she made, but it was beautiful.

A growing screech filled the quiet surroundings as her engines powered up. Finally, she could let loose. They snarled as they fired, blasting hot winds behind her. She could feel the tongues of flame from the afterburners kicking in on her ass -- jets of fierce heat so close...almost kissing her posterior.

She felt the auxiliaries embedded in her wings start spitting too. Raw power flowed through her as fuel, coursing like blood, fed her engines. Her body began to warm up as internal radiators cycled excess heat away from her red-hot exhausts.

At last she had reached full power. The towering tribute to modern engineering prepared -- bending her knees and leaning forward, adopting her practised launch position. Her vast, curved body braced -- both in trepidation at what she was about to achieve, and excitement as to what lay ahead.

She opened her intakes to their fullest -- the wonderful rush of air sucked into her turbines ticking and teasing...her nasal slits did their part; a searing sharp stream of fresh air passing through her nose and adding to the fuel-air mix within her powerful core. She even let her mouth hang open, thick lips and coiling tongue welcoming the new breeze. The corners of her mouth curled in happiness, and she was seconds away from glory.

Alice braced herself, and then...

Nothing.

She wasn't in the sky. And she certainly wasn't any higher than ground level. The aeromorph cursed as she ran a diagnostic. Her sensors reported an unhelpful fact -- her added weight had constrained her ability to generate lift without help.

Help? Help!? She wasn't going to need help on her first try, was she?

Oh Goddess from the machine,_she prayed, trembling with the intense forces surging inside her,_please let this be an easy fix.

There would be questions coming. No doubt. Why hadn't she reported take-off yet? Seeing no other choice but to call in, Alice sighed.

"Having trouble taking off, sir. Data packet en route," she radioed, a small smattering of disappointment in her voice.

"Understood. We'll advise as best we can, but if you can think of something in the meantime, proceed as you wish. Over."

"Over..."

She mentally confirmed the transmission of her diagnostic report to base, and went back to the task at hand. A moment of contemplation gave her the time needed to think of a solution, even amid the loud roar of her engines. Valuable fuel was being used up, so she needed to act now!

"Hmm..."

Alice took several steps back, leaving the designated take-off area. In her mind a series of equations were being crunched.C'mon girl, put that billion-dollar brain of yours to work!

Numbers, vectors, sensor readings streamed by -- and better yet: a plan.

"Okay," she said softly, speaking to nobody but herself, "let's give this a try."

Alice had moved a short distance back (relatively speaking). She ran her hands over her front and sides, checking structural integrity. Her body still firm, vibrations from her turbines slowly coming under control, she got ready for a running start.

There was no starter pistol to mark the start of her dash, but the effect was much the same. In a split-second, the enormous mass of feminine machinery burst forward, legs carrying her at an incredible speed for one so big.

Stomping craters in her runway as she sped by, Alice reached her original spot, and swept low, muscles tensing. And the...she leapt...

Her feet slammed against the marked area, splintering the ground as she pushed skyward. Splits shot through the concrete, winding lines of broken rubble as the surface shattered. The once-seamless runway was marred by priceless destruction, but Alice didn't care. It worked, and she was airborne.

"Too late," she remarked on the property damage as she took to the skies, "should've accounted for that in your original design, eggheads!"

Shade now suitably thrown at her creators, the aeromorph rapidly climbed through the atmosphere. The land around her grew further and further away, and the vast emptiness of the cloudless sky beckoned this aerial virgin on.

Wind resistance made itself known, especially against the bulges and protrusions of her fuselage. Her body battled the harsh opposition, fighting to keep her aloft in defiance. Her wings held, though, and she was not about to plummet. A sense of triumph emerged.

She had done it!

Her maiden flight had begun.

Alice revelled in the sensation of flying. The nothingness below her, the freedom of the void -- passing effortlessly through the upper atmosphere as she climbed and climbed. The rush of air over her sumptuous body. The churning inferno inside her as continuous gulps of the stuff mixed with fuel by the gallon and burst into delightful flame, jetting out from behind her. Her massive form miles above the earth. No more doubt. No more being cooped up in a glorified warehouse. She was free.

In the back of her mind she slowly established data links with nearby airbases and control towers, sending her position and receiving the positions of others. Planes not like her. Old, lifeless things. No soul within, no body worth drooling over. She was the future, and she knew it.

Alice adjusted course with her wing's control surfaces. In lieu of a traditional tail she gently moved her legs around, keeping them close together at all times. Two small triangular fins near her ankles helped guide her, and the superheated exhausts on the back of each leg, jutting out from her calves, assisted in this manoeuvre. Despite the inclination to spread them wide, and enjoy the windswept sensations, her arms stayed straight by her sides, palms pressed against her legs.

Within her, the cargo capsule sat snugly. She would be its home for the next ten hours.

Pleased with her progress, and soaring high, Alice settled in for a long journey by connecting to whatever broadcast radio stations she was near, and in whatever country. She filtered out the inane human chatter (like she cared about politics?Pfft!) and searched for music.

With the soft-plucked strings of a Spanish guitar in a slow, sombre piece beating out the endless noise all around her, Alice let the tension leave her body, and the sweet tune replace it.

* * *

"Roger. We have Flight 36D on radar. Course normal. Expected time of arrival: thirty minutes."

On the far side of the world, the control tower of the destination airfield was abuzz with activity. Both the money and the secrecy of the project had their attention, and by God were they going to see it through.

So far, everything proceeded according to plan. The new prototype's flight path was unchanged, and they had tracked the incoming plane for at least two hours, well before she entered the airspace under their jurisdiction.

"Manifest?" one person in the control tower asked another.

"Test flight specs say simulated payload: approx. two tonnes. Single pilot, no copilot. Experimental aircraft, no serial number, only their valid transponder code...the rest is completely redacted."

"They could've let us know a bit more, right? How are we supposed to know if everything's in order?"

"Best we can do is follow what they've written. Expected course, transponder code...and that's about it..."

The traffic controller sighed. "Okay then. Keep quiet and get this thing done. What kind of aircraft do you think..."

"I don't know so stop asking," their colleague shot back.

"...just 'cause I was thinking maybe it was a military flight..."

"If it was, we'd be notified. Nothing seems awry, so just monitor the incoming flight."

The crackle of active radios filled the silence as a monochrome green-and-black display showed Alice's flight as a small dot accompanied by a string of letters and numbers, intelligible to the control tower personnel but gibberish otherwise.

Ten minutes passed, with the peculiar flight creeping closer. The next step of proper protocol was to get in contact with the plane. This fell to the previously-admonished air traffic controller, who swiped a handheld communicator from its socket and activated it.

"Flight 36D, do you read?"

A short pause ensued. He waited for the response.

"..."

"I think we have something," he mentioned to the other on-duty controllers.

Through the hiss of interference, a single female voice spoke:

"This unit reads you, over."

"Good to hear someone from your end at last," he said, a small chuckle decorating his cadence, "can you confirm if you are the only person flying? We're a little in the dark over here."

"Of course, it's just me. You can call me Alice."

"Okay Alice. Do I get a rank or...?" he trailed off before speaking again. "Never mind. Apologies, I'm getting some looks from my colleagues telling me to speed things along -- can you confirm your approach heading and current altitude, over?"

A flurry of data packets were exchanged with the incoming flight; all the necessary information to permit landing. Once confirmed against their copy of the plan's details, Alice was contacted again:

"Alice, you are cleared for landing. North-West strip. Course adjustments are being sent..."

"Thank you! Received without error. This unit will begin her final approach in seven minutes."

Time passed quickly for the crew at the destination airbase. Ground crew mobilised, and the control tower kept their eye on the sky for the mysterious 'Alice'. Soon, a shape was spotted -- coming in from the expected course. Everyone did their part to ensure a safe landing, following procedures that had been drilled into them countless times; their actions instinctual, rote repetition of regulation and accommodation...

She drew closer.

Now large enough to get a clear visual, a murmur of surprise arose among those in the control tower. There was something odd about the configuration of this plane...something they couldn't quite discern from radar...

She drew ever closer.

Casting a dark shadow on the clouds behind her, the base was greeted with a solid silhouette that strained credulity. A shape that didn't scream aerodynamic, but here it was, hurtling towards them. A form that defied rational explanation -- a fever dream...yes, that's what it was. Mirages conjured from the rising heat of the landscape. A falsehood of their own imagining. Nothing like this could be anything but a bizarre--

Startled and confused, everyone watched as 'Alice' became unmistakably_real._

Folks turned to one another, shocked.

"What the--?"

* * *

With a clear picture of her landing strip, Alice narrowed her gaze. The incessant whistling of the air past her body was muted as she focused on the runway in the distance, and her descent. Her approach was good, confirmed by the transmissions from the nice people in air traffic control. The skies were open, and there were no other flights for her to account for. Just a nice, slow, climb-down from up on high.

Alice snarled as the wind whipped her extremities -- the unwelcome feeling carried by her sensors to her cybernetic brain registered as mild pain. She needed to slow down.

Lowering engine power, the great airborne woman managed to keep her deceleration proportional to the declining altitude. The airbase grew closer. Her artificial muscles tensed, her mind filled with a heady blend of anxiety and excitement.

On final approach, she prepared herself. Control surfaces on her wings and the changing position of the exhausts on her legs guided her. She angled her body back, bringing her feet forward, and pushed as hard as she could with her turbines -- forcing as much lift as she could to keep her landing graceful.

Her flying had it's elegant veneer stripped away. It was now nothing more than a controlled fall.

Closer and closer she came; the earth spreading across her vision. Green and brown and grey. A welcoming sight of the world she'd coasted far above.

Alice watched her angles, and lined up with the runway.

Here we go!

Her feet slammed into the runway, the eruption of contact only matched by the quaking of her body as her physique battled tension and torque. Dust and gravel soared into the air as her weight and speed broke yet another million-dollar piece of infrastructure.

Her body tried its best to bury itself in the ground of this remote place. A torrent of upturned earth and asphalt spreading like waves breaking on the shore. A sea of soil and smashed concrete flowed around her, up to the ankle.

The ground trembled. Her engines pitched and turned to arrest her destructive landing. The roar was deafening.

Alice finally had lost enough velocity to break from her attempted subterranean excursion and leaped out of the vast furrow she'd carved onto the surface of the runway. She sailed through the air, arms and legs flailing, a slight unease in her expression -- though no-one was nearby to catch it.

"Eeeeeh!"

One loud proclamation of chaos was all she was letting slip. She had to stabilise!

Alice came down again on the runway, her feet bouncing on the hard ground, shedding their accumulated debris. Like a trail of breadcrumbs, the brown earth and black rock dotted the path of her advance. A second time she touched down...then a third...

Several hundred metres past where she had originally struck, Alice found herself slow enough to transform her tumble into a hop, skip, and jump -- ignorant of the cost her havoc had wrought. The big anthro plane strode with confidence, her first mission nearing completion.

A resounding success...oh, who was she kidding? She was going to get chewed out by her superiors for sure!

_All because those stupid scientists didn't plan for landing with all that extra weight,_she huffed, making mental notes for her defence.

Oh well, no time to fret about it, let's go meet this place's little helpers!

The giant, naked female aeromorph settled after landing, occupying a marked area for loading/unloading air freight. A pleasant smile formed as she watched the convoy of vehicles drive towards her -- excited to meet new people.

* * *

Advancing on the the landing site, a convoy of support vehicles -- loaders, trucks, tankers -- scrambled across uneven ground. Crawling across the ruined landscape created by the shock-waves of the thing's impact. It...no, her...

Her form rose high into the heavens. On cloudier days, one might suppose she'd sit right amongst the lowest wisps as they caressed her. Large, indomitable curves and voluptuous majesty was all they could see. Stunned. Surprised. Suspicious.

It took a while for someone to exit their vehicle. Alerting others with the loud slam of the door, one foolhardy human moved into the open. Then, like a series of harsh beats echoing from a faulty speaker, the rest left. The creak and slam of doors punctuated the silence -- ripping it apart as the incredulous crowd assembled mere metres from the giantess. Her shadow hung over them. Heavy, blotting out the sun as it crested her shoulder. A minute of searing blindness followed when its rays returned -- glowing like a golden halo around this awesome angel of the skies. The words 'be not afraid' were apt, if cliché.

Men didn't know where to look, and women held between them an_interesting_expression, as they watched the living machine move. Motions indistinguishable from the casual fidgets and idle placement of limbs and hands played out across this visitor's body. A jerk, a rub, an itch just above the elbow that needed scratching...each move terrifying in its scale. They retreated when she shifted her foot slightly; to her it was nothing, but to those far smaller 'twas a nightmarish sound of grinding rock.

A while passed again in silence before the first overture was made.

"Hi! I'm Alice, reporting on schedule!" Her voice shook their surroundings -- its fierce volume generated deep within the mechanical giantess, thrummed by a set of vocal cords each almost the size of a full-grown person.

Everyone was quiet.

She just talked. With her mouth. Like a person...a plane and a person combined...

"Wuh...wha...tha...fuh...?"

They saw a glint of understanding in her visor. "Oh?" she cooed, "they didn't tell you all the details of my programme? I can see why you're shocked!"

She paused for a brief moment, gesturing to herself.

"It's not everyday you get to meet the future of air transport."

The lead crewman stepped forward and spoke: "okay...um...Alice. Can you confirm this cargo manifest--"

"What?" she boomed. "Oh, sorry! You don't have comlinks, let me get closer..."

The hulking female form crouched, her endless curves softly shifting to bring the giantess down. Gears and pistons choked and whirred as she adjusted to her new position -- squatting in front of the assembled humans. A sense of unease spread through the crowd, now that they were face-to-face with Alice's enormous frame. Her lowering herself down only amplified her fearsome size in their eyes.

"Okay, I should be able to hear you now."

The giggle that followed could burst eardrums, but the ground crew soldiered on. They repeated the request and held out the clipboard with the details -- horrendously old-fashioned, but as she guessed they hadn't been properly prepared. As her vast ocular arrays shone behind the reflective black visor-strip -- scanning the tiny (by her standards) document, the workers shared knowing glances, having become_kind-of_accustomed to the huge lady's presence.

And her presence was...definitely female. Crouched, her leg 'muscles' spread and tightened as thighs and calves kissed. Between them, bared without a care in the world, a set of labia that could crush cars. Thick, black lips matching the construction of those adorning her maw. An rounded hourglass figure flowed upwards, and massive breasts hung over them. Those watching could only wonder at what her backside looked like -- given her voluptuous body it was easy to imagine. Maybe one of them could circle around and see...

"Okay, that's correct!" she said, voice rattling the axles of the parked motorcade. "Mission accomplished."

"Excuse me!?" the brave lead crewman sputtered. "How are you going to explain that, huh?" He pointed to the scarred landscape that threaded its way towards where Alice stood right now. "That doesn't look like 'mission accomplished' to me!"

Alice frowned. "Well, that wasn't_my_fault! Your runway wasn't built for heavy aircraft like me."

"And that's our fault!?" the irate human continued. A barrage of obscenities fired from his mouth, to which Alice simply remained calm in the face of._Just a bunch of silly human jabbering,_she told herself, tuning out the tirade until the not-so-helpful little helpers wore themselves out.

Once finished, she sighed. "Okay, fine. You can complain to my superiors. Now, do you want me to finish here or what?"

"Yes, let's move on," said the tiny human, returning to the clipboard he held. "Now, cargo."

"Yeah," Alice said, cheeriness returning to her voice, "you want me to drop if off here?"

"Where is it, first of all? You were supposed to be carrying two tonnes of--"

"Carry? Like with these?" She raised her hands to her face and rolled her eyes. "Oh no! That's too risky, I could drop it by accident. It's inside me."

"Inside...you? Where did you put--?"

The enormous machine smiled, naive to their concerns. Drawing herself to her full height, her supple form jiggling with each big motion, Alice presented her rear to the ground crew. Hunched over slightly, she rested her great form by putting her hands on her upper legs to distribute her weight.

The humans were now faced with a huge aeromorph booty, its cheeks vast and firm, and guarded from the elements by their rise and fall: a tight rubbery asshole.

Alice looked over her shoulder at the astonished humans with an innocent yet eager-to-please look on her face. She smiled and gave them a wiggle of her hips, the dense capsule inside her begging for freedom.

"Wanna see?"
