The Dragon Kingdom - Chapter 8: Kidnapped
- Kidnap -
Saint would head to the shops and walk around looking. He would enter a jewelry store and look around. Je would smile as he sees a small green pendent. Saint would walk over and pick it up and look it over, then he would head to the counter and pay for it. He would slide it in his pocket and go to a few other stores. He would get a box, some wrapping paper, a bow, some food for the trip back, a new tent, and a new sword. After getting all this stuff he heads back to the palace. He the heads down the hall and a few of the guards watch him. He enters his roomand sets the stuff down and sits over at the desk. He then pulls out the pendent, the box, the wrapping paper, and the bow. He then fixes it in to a present. He smiles and puts it in his bag as He goes and knocks on arks door. " Ark? You ok in there? " A voice would reply " Yes I'm fine. Just d-don't come in. " Saint would say " Whats wrong are you hurt? " He would go to open the door.
Then as he sept in there would be a blur and then a lump under the covers of the bed. " Hey you ok ark? " The figure under the covers would nod. " Y-yes i'm fine. " The voice sounded higher then befor. Saint would sigh and grab the covers and pull them down slightly. " Ark, I know your a girl. " There would be a gasp and then her head would pop out. She was an lioness, her fur a golden brown, her eyes orange and her fangs long and sharp. She would look down slightly and then up at saint. " Please dont tell anyone, promise me you wont tell. " Saint would nod and sit next to her on the bed. " Your a lion. So where do you come from? " He would ask in a kind tone. " She would look up at the window. " I come from the lion kingdom to the west. Its nothing but plains out there. " She would sigh slighly as saint says " So why did you leave? " She would look back at him. " Because I wanted to see the world. So I left and headed south. " Saint would look at the window. " The avaion kingdom? " Ark would nod and sigh. " I tried to start a medical building there but it failed. So I headed north to your kingdom. " Saint would stand up and walk over to his pack. " I see, well I got some supplies for the trip back. I'm ready to leave when ever you are. " She would nod and smile softly. " Ok, let me rest up for a while and then we'll head out first thing tomorrow." Sint would nod and head for the door. " Ok I'll be in my room for the night. " She would smile slightly. " Sleep well. " He would smile bacl. " Thanks you too. "
Saint would shut the door and head for his room, outside the sun setting. He would enter his room shutting the door behind him as he walk over to the window and watch the ocean in the twilight. He would take off his armor and set it aside. He would sit down on the bed and pull out his pack. He would dig through it and find a book, he would set the pack down and lay back as he began to read. After a while he would drift off in to a deep sleep and begin to dream. He would find him self laying in a bed. Next to him a warmth. He would look down and cuddled in to his side would be the king. Saints eyes would widen. The king would have his arms wraped around saints waist and his head would be laying on saints chest. Saint would sigh and pet the kings head softly, then saint would blush as his eye widened even more when he noticed the king was naked and so was he. He would stare at the kings body and blush deeply. He would think to him self. " What in the world is going on?! " His face would be bright red as he tryed to move the king would hold on to him tightly not letting him go. Saint would sigh and lay there as he petted the king more. Then the king would look up at saint and saint would look back and gasp. The kings eyes were pitch black, he would speak in a some what desperate tone " Help me Saint.... Help me.... " Suddenly Saint would jump, he was laying in his bed back in the dolphin palace. He would sigh with relief and lay back. " That was a weird dream. " He would gaze up at the ceiling thinking. He would drift off to sleep again.
Some time later he would wake and yawn. He would look out at the window and see the sun was rising and it would make the water glow in it's light. Saint would stand and walk over sitting at the window looking out at the ocean. He would think to him self " Beautiful. " Then he would hear a knock at the door. He would turn and head to it. When he opens it there stood a dragon messenger. He would be panting as he held up an envelope. The messenger would speek. " A-a letter f-from the h-head c-council m-member. I-it is urgent. " Saint would take the letter and open it reading it, his eyes would widen at what it says. The letter says " Saint you are need back at the palace immediately. His majesty has been kidnapped. Get back here now and help with the investigation. " He would hand the messenger a gold coin for wroking so hard then he would go get his armor on and get everything togeather then he would rush to arks room and knock on the door. " Ark. Wake up! " She would open the door and look up at him. " What? " He would hand her the note and her eyes would widen as she rushed around getting her things togeather. Then she would write a note for the queen and give it to one of the guards then her and saint would head out of the palace and head out of the city.
