#3 of Pep: The Coyote Bartender Series

OKAY, here is the third installment. I promise not to make you guys wait so long next time. I plan to release each chapter every two weeks on Fridays. I say that because I am currently attending school that takes up a lot of time.

Pep: The Coyote Bartender

Part 3

Early the following day, Pep woke with a start and looked over at the window; a pigeon tapped randomly while it cleaned its feathers. Pep noticed the pale daylight of the morning begin to spill into the room. It took a moment for Pep to realize that it was the pigeon that caused him to wake and not something else.

I'm getting somewhat nervous for some reason, Pep thought and looked over to see Tweaky sleeping soundly right next to him.

Pep reluctantly removed himself from Tweaky's embrace, and he went down the hall to the bathroom, quietly closing the door behind him. It amazed Pep how fast things developed between him and Tweaky. However, Pep was not over his first mate yet, whom he had lost in Iraq. He knew that this relationship helped kill the loneliness. Pep wondered if, somehow, his first mate put Tweaky on his path for that very reason. He remembered reading somewhere that no one should be left alone for all eternity or some rhetorical nonsense like that. All Pep knew was that he loved Tweaky, and that was fine for now.

Pep turned on the shower and let the water heat up before adjusting to the right temperature. Even though it had been only yesterday since his last one, Pep felt like it had been an eternity. He stepped into the shower, thankful to be nude and not waste time taking off clothes, and let the hot water run over his thin but toned body. The water felt so incredible that Pep did not hear Tweaky enter and started when Pep felt Tweaky's arms wrap around him.

"Oh, Tweaky! You started me," Pep said as Tweaky grinned.

"Well, that wasn't my intent, but you looked so handsome that I had to join you," Tweaky said playfully, fondling Pep's butt cheek with a gentle swat.

"I hope I didn't disturb you when getting out of bed," Pep said thoughtfully.

"You did, but I'm not mad. It allowed me to be here with you," Tweaky said as Pep turned around and kissed him.

The two pressed their bodies together while kissing each other in absolute passion. Pep felt himself growing hard with each kiss, with every breath he took. It was as if Tweaky became his oxygen supply, and the more Pep breathed in, the more life he felt flow into his body, including his member.

Soon, Pep was standing at full salute as Tweaky broke the kiss and looked down. "At least I'm not the only one getting excited."

Pep looked down, and, sure enough, Tweaky was rock hard, too. But, before Pep could even speak, Tweaky took the initiative, kneeling down and took Pep's full-length into his maw.

Pep rolled his eyes back into his head and moaned out his pleasure. For being a beginner, Tweaky learned fast how to please a partner. Pep did not take long to reach his climax, and he felt himself flood Tweaky's eager maw, howling out his orgasm. Pep began to squirm a bit as Tweaky milked him for every last drop.

Oh, yes. Tweaky is becoming an expert, Pep thought.

"All right, my turn," Pep said as he stood Tweaky up and knelt down, taking Tweaky's member into his maw, savoring the flavor.

Tweaky moaned out in sheer bliss and ecstasy as Pep used his tongue to bring about the most joyous feelings possible. Soon, Pep heard Tweaky moan out loud as he felt his maw flood with glorious seed. He drank every ounce down and stood, hugging Tweaky tightly.

"Thanks for checking on me," Pep said as Tweaky blushed a little.

"It was nothing. I'm gonna go cook some breakfast," Tweaky said as he gave Pep a peck on the cheek and left the bathroom, grabbing a towel as he went. Pep was almost beside himself because Tweaky was becoming the main love of his life. Pep felt that this was a confirmation that his last love was constantly working in his life.

Pep stepped out of the shower and wrapped a towel around himself. He opened the door and stopped. Pep ought to have smelt Tweaky cooking food by now, and the apartment was eerily quiet. He silently walked back into the bathroom, knelt down, and opened the cabinet under the sink. Slowly and carefully, Pep pulled out a .49-millimeter gun with a silencer and checked the clip, smiling as he slid it back into the gun. Slowly, Pep exited the bathroom. He grabbed a mirror from a stand in the hallway and eased up the kitchen door, using the mirror to peer around the corner. Instantly, there was a shot as the mirror flew out of Pep's hand.

"Come on out. I know you're there. I have your little friend," said the figure in a Russian accent.

Pep slowly walked into the doorway and saw a Siberian tiger holding Tweaky by the throat with one arm and pointing a gun at his temple with his other hand.

"Let him go."

"No, I don't think so. There is a high price on this little one's head, and I mean to collect," said the tiger as Pep looked at Tweaky, who winked?

Then Pep saw in his peripherals something metallic slid down into Tweaky's hand and quickly stabbed backward into the tiger's thigh. The tiger screamed out as a shot went off. Pep did not think as he took aim and fired, hitting the tiger in the chest. The tiger flew back into the sink and window, causing the window to break, followed by the tiger crashing to the floor.

Pep raced over to Tweaky, who laid on the floor in a puddle of blood. Pep had to keep the fear from his heart as he knelt down and began checking vitals. He breathed a sigh of relief after feeling a strong pulse from Tweaky.

Pep slowly turned him over and noticed a scrape on Tweaky's head. He quickly put a dish towel over the wound and saw Tweaky open his eyes. "It's just a scratch. I'll be fine after--WATCH OUT!"

Tweaky pushed Pep back as a boot flew past and kicked the cabinet where Pep's head was. Pep slammed his fist into the side of the tiger's knee, causing him to buckle down to the ground. However, the fight was not over as he caught Pep in the chest with a backhand.

Pep fell backward on the floor as the tiger pulled out a knife from his boot and, in a smooth motion, tried to stab Pep in the chest. Pep caught the tiger's knife hand and kicked the side of his head, sending him sprawling. Pep jumped up from his back to his feet just as the tiger got back to his.

Pep and the tiger stared at each other as Pep felt a breeze brush across his nether regions, realizing that he just lost his towel. But he couldn't think about that now as the tiger came charging in, and the two started exchanging blows. Every hit Pep made, the tiger made one, as well. Finally, the tiger pushed Pep back, and they heard a radio transmission.

"Brian! Come back to base now," said a feminine voice as the tiger growled.

"Lucky for you, I have to go. See you around," said the tiger as he threw something down, and a huge smoke cloud consumed them all.

Pep and Tweaky coughed as Pep ran around the apartment, opening all the windows. He wrapped his towel around himself after locating it on the floor and ran over to Tweaky.

"Are you alright?" Pep asked as Tweaky nodded.

"I didn't know you could fight like that," Tweaky said in admiration as they slowly got up from the floor.

"I didn't think I would even have to use it again," Pep said as he looked at the cut on Tweaky's head.

"How is it?" Tweaky asked as Pep smiled.

"Like you said earlier, it's nothing but a scratch. It doesn't need stitches, thankfully. You're just a bleeder," Pep said as he walked Tweaky into the bathroom and sat him down on the toilet. Next, he pulled the first-aid kit out from under the bathroom sink and took out various items.

"I know you were in the Army or Military. Is that where you learned how to fight?" Tweaky asked as Pep stopped for a second. He had avoided talking about his past with the military and his missions with the CIA. However, many of those missions were still classified, and he took an oath of secrecy. However, Pep could share the information that was common knowledge without going into specifics.

"Yes, I was in the Special Forces before working with the CIA. But, after seeing too many deaths, it started to weigh on my heart, mind, and soul," Pep said as Tweaky beamed at him.

"So, you opened up the bar as a way to leave that life behind, and now I brought it to your door," Tweaky said gloomily.

"No. I made the decision to help you, and I haven't regretted it since. Now, let's get you patched up and clean the mess our uninvited guest made," Pep said.

Pep treated Tweaky's wounds, and they cleaned that entire morning until everything looked new. After that, they got dressed. Tweaky looked at the clock on the wall that read 12:43 pm.

"We have to go see Mr. Freeman at 3 pm, remember?" Tweaky asked as Pep stopped short.

"Oh, yeah. That's right. But are you sure you're up to it? I mean after this morning--" Pep started but was cut short.

"Of course, I'm scared, but I'm not going to let those stupid thugs ruin my plans or my life. I will continue on whether or not I do have a price on my head," Tweaky said as Pep smiled.

"All right, but since you have a price on your head, I'm calling in a couple of favors. It's time that we find out how to get rid of this problem we both have," Pep said as he picked up his phone and called the number 'Wolfy.' Tweaky was curious but decided to fix lunch while Pep did his thing.

"Hello? Wolfy? Pep, here! Yeah, how's it going?" Pep said as he waited for Wolfy's reply.

"Yeah, well, listen. We've been having a bit of trouble and could use your help," Pep said as Tweaky stopped in the middle of putting sandwiches together. He wondered what Pep was up to but again decided to trust Pep.

"Great! Can you be over here quickly? Awesome, bye," Pep clicked the phone off and put it in his pocket. He looked up at Tweaky, who had sandwiches made, and gave Pep a look that asked, what was that about?

"I called in reinforcements because we need to take the battle to whoever is trying to capture you," Pep said as Tweaky sat down the plates on the table and looked a bit troubled.

"I don't want anyone else getting hurt because of me. I should just let them have me," Tweaky said as Pep walked over and grabbed him by the shoulders.

"Listen to me very carefully; you cannot give into punks like these. You said it yourself that you shouldn't let them run your life, and we're not. The people I called are very good at taking out threats," Pep said as Tweaky was about to answer when a knock came from the door.

Pep picked up the gun from the table and hurried over to the door, moving silently as he did. He cracked it open and saw an anthropomorphic greyish-blue wolf standing there in camouflage along with a female cheetah with the same outfit on. Pep quickly rushed them inside and said as he pointed the gun at them, "Wolfy, what was the last thing I said to you before I left the special forces?"

"Wolfy and the cheetah both had their hands up as Wolfy said, "I don't know if I will ever find love again after my mate died."

Pep lowered the gun, and they lowered their hands. "Pep, what is this all about?" Asked Wolfy as Pep sighed.

"It's a long story, but in short, I did find love again, and I've been helping him to escape from the mob here in Memphis," Pep said as they walked into the kitchen where Tweaky made more sandwiches.

"That serious?" Wolfy asked as shock spread across his face.

"What? What's wrong?" Tweaky asked as Wolfy looked at him.

"I'm not sure what you did to piss off the mob, but rest assured, once Kane Rose picks you as his next target, there's almost nothing that can stop him," Wolfy said as Tweaky looked terrified.

Suddenly, Wolfy laughed out loud and clapped Tweaky on his back, and said, "Don't worry. I said almost. Me and Karah here will let nothing happen to you."

Tweaky looked from Wolfy to Karah, taking stock of them both. Karah wore her brown hair back in a ponytail and had vibrant green eyes that accented her fur. Her body was long with sensual curves as her tail swished back and forth. "I'm going to check the parameter," Karah said as she headed for the door.

"All right, but keep your radio handy, Karah, and while you're out there, do a sweep for explosives," Wolfy said as Karah nodded and walked out the door.

Tweaky looked at his watch that said 1 pm. "Well, I think we best eat and get ready to go to Mr. Freeman's house."

"Wait, what's over there?" Wolfy asked as Pep and Tweaky looked at him, but Pep sensed he knew.

"We have a business meeting with a Mr. Leonardo Freeman for our marketing side of the bar," Pep said as Wolfy raised an eyebrow.

"On a Sunday?" Wolfy asked as Tweaky and Pep nodded.

"We met him yesterday when we went to see Pep's father in the hospital."

"Your fathers in the hospital, and you didn't tell me?!" Wolfy said as Pep shrugged.

"I was planning to, but with everything that happened so far, I just couldn't find the time. But now you know," Pep said as they all--excluding Karah--sat down at the table and ate. Tweaky told Wolfy the whole story and by the end was laughing and again clapping him on the back.

"Well, you certainly did piss off the mob if you crashed their entire mainframe," Wolfy said as Pep smiled inwardly. Wolfy was a responsible yet carefree individual who did not really care about your past so long as you took responsibility for it.

When Pep first met Wolfy in basic training, he instantly knew Pep was gay. However, he didn't treat him any different from anyone else. Pep was very thankful for this because it was in a time when he was not sure. Wolfy had befriended Pep and taught him how to love and accept himself, and now, he was doing the same for Tweaky.

They finished eating as Tweaky looked up at the clock and said, "time to go."

Karah had just come up the back staircase as they came out of the apartment.

"Report!" Wolfy said.

"The parameter is secure, captain," Karah said as they nodded to each other.

"And the car?" Wolfy asked as Karah held up a small chip with a bit of light in the middle of it.

"What's that? A tracking device?" Tweaking asked as they nodded.

"I found this under their car, placed right next to the frame. However, it is more than just a mere tracking device. I found this C-4," Karah said as she held up the plastic explosive that was the size of a brick, "on the gas tank. That's enough to destroy their car and level one side of the building in the process."

There was silence for a moment as Pep took in the severity of the situation and said, "Then we had best be careful about the foreseeable future until we can eliminate this threat."

"All right, but we need to go, or else we're going to be late," Tweaky said as they all headed down the steps.

Pep and Tweaky got into their car, closing the doors behind them. Pep put the key into the ignition and stopped for a moment. Something told him don't turn the key, but that was silly because Karah had already checked the car for explosives, but what messed with Pep's head was the convenient ease at which she was able to locate that C-4. Everything in Pep's training told him something was not right.

"What is it, Pep?" Tweaky asked as Pep started checking under the dash and felt a loose panel.

"Get out of the car!" Pep snapped as Tweaky looked puzzled.

"But Pep I..." Tweaky began but was cut off.

"DO AS I SAY! GET OUT NOW!" Pep shouted as Tweaky obeyed and looked over to Wolfy and Karah for help.

Wolfy and Karah ran over just as a shot rang out and caught Tweaky in the arm. He cried out as the other two pulled their weapons: Wolfy with an assault rifle and Karah with a pistol. Wolfy ran over to Tweaky while both took cover by the car.

Pep rolled out of the car as another shot just missed his head by mere centimeters. He laid flat on the ground near the car and held his .45 over his other arm for balance.

"Where's the shooter." Pep shouted as he scanned the rooftops but could not see anyone.

"I see him! He is heading North," Karah shouted as she took off after him. Suddenly, the roar of a motorcycle fired up around the corner of the far end building and came around, picking up speed as it went. The cyclist has a helmet on with a visor that covers his eyes but not his snout that was green in color. The rest of him was dressed in leather as he laughed maniacally.

Karah, however, was fast as she took off running in the same direction. As soon as he went by, she jumped on the back of the bike, and the fight was on. They took off around another corner as Pep heard the crash several minutes later.

Karah Williams was as brilliant as she was beautiful and exceeded in both. Highly trained in combat, she was glad when Wolfy chose her for this assignment because she idolized not only Wolfy but had the chance to meet one of the youngest colonels in United States history: Philip Edward Pawson. Aside from the fact that Karah came from a military family and wanted an army career, meeting Captain Michael Stephans (Wolfy) and Colonel Philip Edward Pawson was her most prominent dream. Karah read that Pawson had made colonel by the age of twenty-eight, and almost every one of his men came back alive. And now, she was using this chance to prove herself to Pep that she had risen among their ranks, though she was still a lieutenant.

As Karah jumped onto the bike, she pulled out a taser stick and jabbed it into the biker's neck. He went rigid as Karah jumped off the motorcycle that crashed into a pile of garbage along with its rider. Karah ran over, and he caught her by surprise as his tail whipped out, knocking her into the wall to her right. Karah felt dazed as the cyclist rose up out of the garbage with his back facing her. He took off his helmet and turned around as she let out a gasp.

There, standing before Karah, was an anthropomorphic alligator whose height was well over seven feet. He dropped the sniper rifle from his back and brought out a great sword from the compartment on his bike. He lifted it quickly with one hand, giving it a few swings before setting his eyes on her.

"That wasn't very nice, little girly. I shall teach you a lesson you won't forget," the alligator said in a deep voice, but she knew that this was no mere alligator. His name has been known worldwide for being the best bounty hunter, or so the story goes. His name was Allister Sabrejaw, and if the rumors were true, he was very proficient at capturing his bound and a skilled fighter. The prominent code name was Sabrejaw.

Suddenly, Sabrejaw charged at Karah so fast that she barely had time to dodge the sword. Karah ducked under the sword stroke as he cut through solid concrete and dodged another swing from his tail. She pulled out her two bowie knives from her back strap and ducked another swing from the sword, slicing the underside of Sabrejaw's arm.

Sabrejaw grunted out in pain as he hit her with the other hand, sending Karah flying back and crashing on the pavement. The pain exploded through her body as she rolled over to peer at Sabrejaw through watery eyes.

Sabrejaw had a trail of crimson running down the inner side of his right arm coming from the cut Karah made. However, he stilled had the sword gripped in his hand as she thought, damn, I didn't cut deep enough. Karah struggled back to her feet as the right side of her face swelled. She knew it would become a bruise but was no stranger to them. Her instructors never took it easy on her, and she thanked them for that every day.

Sabrejaw was going to charge her again but looked up and ran for his bike. He quickly hopped on and looked back towards her. "We will dance again soon, little girl."

He took off on his bike just as the others reached Karah. She was glad at this point because she was not sure she could win in her present condition.

"Report! What happened, Williams," Wolfy asked as Karah stood at attention.

"Sir, I had the suspect cornered, but he alluded capture," Karah said as Wolfy looked towards the pile where the bike crashed and noticed something. He started to walk over but saw the blinking lights.

"RUN!" Wolfy shouted as he and Karah ran. Suddenly, there was a loud beep, followed by a massive explosion. The shockwave sent Wolfy and Karah flying forward.

Pep patched or instead held a towel over Tweaky's wound when he heard the explosion and saw the fireball go up into the air. The last time he saw Karah or Wolfy was them heading in that direction. He wanted to go make sure they were all right, but he could not leave Tweaky unguarded.

"Pep, are they all right?" Tweaky asked as Pep looked back towards him.

"They are very capable of taking care of themselves. It's you that we need to protect," Pep said as he looked up and saw Wolfy walking back with Karah, both looking good but a little rough around the edges.

"Are you two alright?" Pep asked as Wolfy nodded, but Pep noticed the blackeye Karah had. "Looks like you got struck by someone."

"How very astute of you. The guy's name is Allister Sabrejaw. He's a well-known bounty hunter and probably the best in the world. If he is out and looking for Tweaky, it's a safe bet that other bounty hunters are looking for him, too," Karah said as Wolfy nodded.

"Yeah, I hate to say it, but Tweaky might need to go into hiding until we can figure this out," Wolfy said as Pep and Tweaky looked at each other.

"You guys don't understand. These guys will go after all our families if they can't find me. What hope do you have?" Tweaky said as Wolfy came forward and slapped him across the face.

"Maybe you're right, you little fuck! Maybe you're not worth our time and energy protecting you," Wolfy said as he picked up Tweaky by the throat. "Maybe we should turn you over to the mob boss and collect the bounty for ourselves."

Suddenly, Tweaky's face ripped with anger as he spat, "Yeah, well fuck you!" Tweaky brought up his feet and kicked Wolfy square in the chest, dropping Tweaky and sending staggering back a few feet.

Wolfy rubbed his chest and let out a laugh. "You kick hard, kid. Feel better?"

"Wait, what?" Tweaky asked as Wolfy smiled.

"You are more focused when you're mad than in despair. We are not giving up, so don't you quit on us either," Wolfy said as Tweaky blinked a few times.

"So, wait, what was that just now?" Tweaky asked.

"I may be special forces but do hold a Ph.D. in psychology. Now, I suggest we find a safe place for you to crash. It's never good to be out in the open with a hit-out. We'll take the hummer," Wolfy said as they all piled into their vehicle.

"Do you have a safe house in mind, Wolfy?" Pep asked as Wolfy nodded.

"Leonardo Freeman is an undercover keeper of the hours, and he had been keeping an eye on you two ever since the incident a week ago. It was only yesterday that he contacted you and had planned to tell you about the hit out on you. However, he did not let me know anything over the phone just in case of tapping. That's why I asked you, Pep, what was really going on because I'd like a little information," said Wolfy as Pep and Tweaky looked a little shocked by this development.

Pep thought he recognized that lion before but could not place him until now. He had gone on several missions with Leo when they both were at the CIA. Pep felt like he might be losing his mind a bit but shrugged it off.

"All right, but if I remember right, Leo is a bit out there in his ways, so be prepared when you meet him, Tweaky," Pep said as Tweaky nodded, and the hummer left the bar.
