Bearnard Z: It seeks revenge (Prologue)

Story by Bearnard_Adams on SoFurry

This is the first story upload I have uploaded on SoFurry.

This is just the start; a small teaser of what I plan to write. These events happened in the early 2000s, in a hidden laboratory normally hidden from all public.

What happens next in the story is supposed to happen in the midsts of the year 2000.

I am doing this on the go, so maybe it ends up not going like I planned, or how anyone expected it to go. The only thing I know, is that it'll be fun to do, and I hope you guys like how it develops itself.

Thanks for reading, and I'll be back onto writing right about now hehe.

Bearnard Z: The last thing you'll want to see.

The Prologue: How it started...

Someone tries to open a door anxiously, the door knob spun back and forth in the various attempts that were made in the rush of opening it.

"Please- Please, open already!" They started to panic; hands sweaty; body shaking in terror... What was he seeking, and why is he so nervous?

The door finally swung open and as quick as the individual had gotten inside, they slammed the door behind them just to sprint in the middle of a hallway to get to a giant metallic door. They were gasping for air; hyperventilating even; as they ran as quick as they could.

"Come on, come on" He said as he ran, his voice sounded cracked, as if he was crying in desperation.

They gulped as they reached the heavy metallic door.

"They keys! where the fuck are they..." As soon as he stopped sprinting they checked their pockets hesitantly; their messy looking coat, with various scratches and claw markings with blood dyed on them; what was left of his pants... but they seemed to find nothing in.

There was a hole in one of the coat's pockets.

They were stressed out, and clenched their teeth as they panicked.

The person would then look back and notice a shiny object that was dropped in the middle of the corridor. In a hurry, they sprinted towards them with what was left of his energy.

They accidentally tripped because a tile from the floor was poking out.

As they fell abruptly on the floor, they hit their muzzle, making them cry in pain while their nose showered their mouth in blood.

Shaking in pain, they picked the keychain and did their best to stand up and quickly limp back to the metallic door. He whimpered as he walked, but still felt hope.

He would put one of the keys into the keyhole of a rectangular box that was connected to the door mechanism, but noticed it wasn't the key... suddenly, a loud metallic noise could be heard; making the person flinch and cry in fear as they looked back to check if they had already arrived.

He quickly used the second and last key on the key chain. The object fit perfectly in it making him smile and chuckle nervously. They turned the key, but it was a lot harder than usual, it must have gotten rusty.

Loud footsteps were heard scaringly close to him. As he heard them with his sensitive ears, he turned the key successfully, making the door screech loudly as it slowly opened.

The lights that were flickering dimmed out, and the door suddenly stopped opening.

The person frowned "No no no no no no!" The man would approach the door, seeing that there was still a small gap he could fit in. But he had to be quick.

*Slam* another metallic object fell on the floor, in the same room as him. Bricks slowly fell on the ground, echoing through the room, and making the person gasp in fear.

Glowing red eyes were seen across the long hallway.

The person tried his best to fit through the door, but they were too big and hardly made the fit. His horns didn't help at all.

The entity that chased him stood on all fours and sprinted towards his victim. The vibration faded in as they continued to approach quickly.

The person was desperately trying to make it through. His chest was already out, but the creature was just a few seconds away from him.

"Urgh, gah- Mpfh" He struggled to get the rest of his body out. The anguish of being chased was overwhelming him.

*Gasp* The person would gasp loudly as he presumed the creature had caught him by the leg.

The beast's hand would slowly start to pull.

All hope was lost, the creature just pulled him back inside, not caring that the door's tightness made the person's skin and fur stretch a little as they were stuck in the gap.

For better or for worse, the person was now unstuck of it without the entity abruptly cutting his body in half.

As soon as it got him out, he was held steady, neutralized as the beast's giant hands held him by the arms.

The person was crying uncontrollably, all hope was lost, nothing was left to do other than hope the beast just killed him in an instant.
