In a weird future, places that have been 'Green-Bombed' have become havens for those that want to get back to nature, and those that just want to shed some of their group-guilt for the planet getting this bad. Nimana, a peregrine falcon with some connection to the life-energy of the planet, is getting real fucking sick of the latter...

A Stupid New Society

For Dreixes

While the corporations were doing their best to smother all the eco-work being done across the world in the name of profit, there were still some places that had been 'Green-Bombed', as the phrase went, that there were places for those that forsook the modern life to make new homes for themselves. Unfortunately, there were just as many places for those that merely pretended to that kind of life to set up little cult camps for their libido, and Nimana was starting to think that was all that she'd found out here.

The peregrine falcon sat in the branches of one of the mega-trees that overlooked Alpha-Burst Park. One of the last Green-Bombing sites before the Future-Green terrorist group had been rounded up by the local cops, it still radiated the sort of energy that kept technology at bay. Cell phones brought into the park all but burst into flames within seconds, and anything more advanced than a tape recorder ended up blowing up within a few minutes. They were never a danger to the park, though; they were just consumed by it, buried beneath grass and moss within seconds once they hit the ground.

The earth took care of its own, in these places. The Green-Bombs had pulled the life-energy up from the depths and made it stronger again. Technology would be a while covering it up once more.

At least, if people took it seriously this time. Nimana looked down at the 'hidden' pair of males that were pulling a stake-out at the bottom of her tree, and the peregrine falcon sighed, getting to her feet.

"I see you down there, you know," she said, leaning one scaly arm against the tree and glaring down at them. "Stop following me. I'm here to take this seriously, not fuck all week."

The pair of foxes started, the tods looking at each other before blushing and trying to cover their bulging sheaths. No surprise there; she'd been chased by all kinds of new-agers and posers that had come on this retreat. They proclaimed that they wanted to get in touch with nature, that they wanted to learn from the park and how it brought everyone back to this primal state. Yet, all she found them doing was fucking, particularly once everyone's clothes had all but melted off.

That wasn't why she was here. She could feel the life magic in the ground. It was stronger than anywhere else in the city. Rather than the rotting, half-there thing that needed to be cajoled and grown back to anything useable, the magic in the air through Alpha-Burst Park was all but tangible. It felt like she was walking through curtains of it, stepping through misters that buried her in it every time she moved. How nobody else noticed it, she had no idea.

She walked along the branch, her talons digging in with every step to make it easier to keep her balance, her tail feathers splayed out. She knew it was giving the foxes a perfect view of her ass and her sex, but she didn't care; they were all naked, there was no point in trying to avoid giving them a show. Not like they were going to get anything else.

"Well? Go find someone else to fuck," she shouted down.

"Well, um, sorry, but we're not here for that."

"Or just that," the other fox said.

"We'd like it, but we've also got a message."

"Let me guess. Another campfire meeting tonight?" the peregrine falcon asked.

"Yep. Right in one."

"Great...fine, fine, I'll be there."

The foxes waited for another couple of seconds, probably hoping that she'd indulge them in the whole 'ritual' that their little tribe for the week had come up with - that of fucking one another for favors - but when she refused to hop down from the branches, they finally ran off. She shook her head as the forested park closed behind them, vines thicker than construction cables coming together to form a barrier along their path. She was half-sure that the forest did that for her; she'd gotten a good relationship with the vines and mega-trees in the last few days.

Nimana hopped forward, and the tree nearest her swung a branch around, giving her a place to land. She patted it with one hand, then continued her walk through the tree tops. With the ground more than a hundred feet away, it would be a dangerous fall, but she was used to the heights. She was a bird, after all.

And she was cared for, as only one that had some connection to the life-energy could be.

Here's hoping that there's less bullshit tonight...

"My friends, it is time for us to embrace the energy of nature again. Please, sit, relax, allow yourself to be 'open' to all that the world has to offer."

Here we go again...

As the rest of their makeshift tribe - all dissatisfied with the modern life, true, but none of them with a true connection to anything aside from their bodies - sat down on the rune-marked stones that surrounded the campfire, Nimana did her best to do the same. It was a trifle harder for her, because she came to this park without the padding that a number of her fellow 'tribe' members did. She hadn't come from a comfortable apartment or a desk job that allowed one to be well-fed for hypocrisy. She had been far less well-off than that.

Still, she managed to find a perch, and like everyone else, spread her legs to 'expose herself to nature' like the rest of them did. She didn't mind that people stared at her sex, nor did she care that their eyes went to her breasts. They weren't going to get the chance to play with them, not the way that they wanted, so why would it bother her?

She didn't return the favor. If you had seen one pair of balls, one pair of tits, one pussy or one cock, you had essentially seen them all, barring some genetic variance that added this or that trait. It didn't grab her.

The speaker, however, was holding her attention. Even if he was just speaking the hippie-dippie bullshit that allowed the rest of the crowd to pretend that they were doing good, he had the gravitas to at least make it entertaining.

And, she would admit, their 'shaman' for the tribe was someone that actually looked the part. Having a dragon, green-scaled as the natural world around them, almost blending in with the emerald hue of his scales, lent the whole thing some legitimacy, which was something that would otherwise be sorely lacking. He stood up while the rest of them sat, all but straddling the fire and getting himself all shined up from the little droplets of sweat that the heat created along his legs.

"Nature screams for us to rejoin it. We have stood apart for so long. We have distanced ourselves from it in the name of survival, and in our hubris, we have thought that we could actually control it. We have clothed ourselves, hidden ourselves from the natural world for too long," the dragon said, turning in place, never quite leaving the fire behind, his wings fanning out from time to time to enhance the 'natural musk' of the place with his own scent. Pleasing enough, she supposed, but not really something that grabbed her just yet.

And now he'll talk about getting back to nature, being one with it...

"We have forgotten that nature is our mother, and we must obey it."

Nimana cocked her head to the side. The rest of the group were too busy ogling one another, probably going through their choices for their partner of the night to have heard what the green dragon had said. It caught her attention, though, and she cocked her head to the side as he turned back to her.

"Here, in the great green that has returned to the world, we have a chance to turn back the clock. We have a chance to allow ourselves to take our proper place, not above nature, but beneath it," he said. "And beneath the power that it offers those that serve it..."

Hmmm...now that's interesting...

She leaned forward a little bit, and he definitely noticed that. Not because of her breasts beneath her feathers, though, and not because of her exposed flesh, but rather because she was paying attention.

He paused in his speech, and nobody seemed to notice. Everyone else was here for the credit of attending these tribal meetings, for having the fun that came with being in nature and naked around other people that were of a similar mindset. It didn't matter what they actually did; they'd be going back to their normal lives, eventually, guilt over their culpability in the normal world assuaged by having spent a week, a month in the Green. They would feel like they did their part, and could live normally again.

The two of them, however, had a different idea. Nimana reached out with one of her little tricks, touching the life-energy around her, allowing it to make connections, as all life wanted to. She reached through her talons to the earth, and then through the earth to him -

And the dragon's power surged. He was tapping into more than just the ambient Green around them, but into the lines of power that crisscrossed the earth, into the powerful strings of energy that kept the whole planet from being ripped apart and were rotting by the day with what the corporations did. Her eyes went wide, and his eyes narrowed.

"Let us return to nature tonight...properly. Let us embrace it, and allow its passions, its power, its life to take us back to the primal place."

The green dragon was speaking directly to her, this time, and she realized that he'd felt what she'd done just as much as she'd felt what he was doing. He stepped away from the fire, and flared his wings.

"Take the breath of nature from me..."

Nimana could feel what he was doing. The power of the Green was rising from the earth below, going through his legs into his lungs. It swirled about, and then came up as a purple cloud from his lungs, one that she breathed in without thinking about it.

Poison? she wondered at first, half-sure that the corporations had sent someone to root out anyone that was tapping into the life-energy out here. No...more -

The spell of bliss hidden in the gaseous breath hit her hard, and the falcon screamed as she went over backwards, falling off her rock and landing flat on her back with a roar of pleasure and bliss. Her legs spasmed, her eyes closed tight as she flexed her hips, thrusting them upwards and squirting against the rock that she had just left. The sudden, powerful orgasm that ripped through her was far more than she had expected, powerful beyond measure.

The rest of the campfire went quiet, only for further explosions of need to erupt as the dragon breathed around him in a circle. As every member of the 'tribe' fell backwards, Nimana gradually managed to drag herself to her feet, still shaking as she fixed the dragon with a glare when he turned back to her. She shook her head.

"Ass."

"I apologize, but it ensures some privacy."

"No. You, me, anal. Then talk."

"...Why anal?"

"No pregnancy; I'm not laying eggs anytime soon, but I still need something. Come on."

The End
