I woke up to the sound of my alarm as I felt around trying to shut it off and felt an empty spot in my bed ,my eyes fully open as I looked around the room to see that I was alone, last night memories came back to me in a Flash as i quickly got up and put my robe on hoping that he was still here but sadly he was not. i sigh as I got dressed for work. Once I got to the courtroom I walked into the break room to get a cup of coffee to actually wake me up sing I was still half-asleep.
"Morning " Athena coming over to me
"Good morning Athena" I said sleepy what a yawn
"Someone looks tired "
"I know and it sucks when I get like this and I hope that 5 cups of coffee can actually boost my energy up"
"Well don't drink too much or else you'll be too hyper"
"Trust me five cups of coffee along with sugar won't do anything to me anymore" I said as I started to dump sugar into my coffee and then stir and take a sip as a satisfying sigh
"You know too much coffee could be bad for you" Said Black Quill as he came into the break room a little growl escaped my mouth as I looked away from him
"Looks like I'm going to need more coffee" I said what a growl as I poured myself some more coffee
"But you didn't finish your first cup"
" it doesn't matter it turns sour as soon as he walked into the room," I said not turning my back to him
"What is wrong with you two , you to act like a married couple?"
"She wishes that we were a married couple," he said with a grin as I tossed my other cup of coffee at him but he dodged it only for it to hit someone else making me cover my mouth and shock
"What a waste of good coffee," said the guy as I quickly ran over there to him with towels in hand
"I'm sorry I'm sorry I didn't mean to talk to that you, I wanted to toss it at that prick over there," I said pointing to Black Quill
"It's quite all right kitten" He said as I stopped and looked up to him and then remembered it was the guy from yesterday that passed me when I was coming home
"do I know you?"
"No you don't kitten but you can call me Godot"
"Godot?"
"I've heard of you , you're the new persecutor that came in yesterday," Athena said surprise
"That's right, I came in here hoping to get a good cup of coffee but appears to me that one land on me instead "
"I am truly truly sorry"
"And like I said it is all right" he said as he patted me on the head making me confused as then he left
"I can't believe he talked to you"
"Shut up Athena he's just a new intern" After dealing with three cases in one day I was dead tired on the way home and I was the one left in the break room drinking coffee
"Too much coffee can be bad for you," said a voice that I knew all too well,I didn't bother turning to look I just ignored him and Katie need to drink my coffee and eat some cookies
"What not talking to me now?"
"Just disappear already"
"What an awful thing to say to someone that pleased you all night"
"Up yours Black Quill, how dare you trick me into thinking that you actually cared when really all you want it was somewhere to crash and then you end up ditching me"
"What are you talking about, you're the one who fell into this and was enjoying it"
"Excuse me, you're the one who crashed into my apartment last night and had sex with me!"
"So you're saying that you didn't enjoy it?"
"i uh...well... "I started at my words as he chuckled
"You know that I miss you right" he said as he walked over to me but I looked away from him as he grabbed my face making me look directly at him
"I have always missed you and I won't stop saying it until you believe"
"Yeah whatever it doesn't matter how many times you say it I'm never going to believe you," i said removing his hand from my face
"You know if you want to be this why we could always...." He said as he started to wrap his arms around my waist but I ended up slapping him
"Keep your hands off of me and I'm warning you, touch me again or come to my apartment I will have you arrested," I said glaring at him as I dumped my coffee away and walked away from him leaving him, I knew what I did was wrong I felt bad but there was no way I was going to allow him to think that he can just take over me.
