As Sable and I slept peacefully hugging each others tails I could smell something strange in the air so I left go of Sable's tail and shook him slightly, "Sabwe, Sabwe, Sabwe wake up me smeww something weird"
Sable's eyes slowly opened and then he began sniff the air and then he licked his lips "I smeww foods" Sable shrieked in joy and clapped his paws together in excitement. I started to sniff the ground and picked up the scent so me and Sable crawled towards it.
I was being SO clumsy as I followed the scent I wasn't looking where I was going I bumped my head on a tree and Sable couldn't help but burst out giggling.
Sable stopped giggling as he looked around and found food cooking on a barbecue "me founds it, me founds it, me founds it" he began to chant.
"weww done bwofa you findeds it" I say as I hug him and he smiles while looking very pleased with himself.
We quickly scurried to the barbecue and then sable was quickly picked and he began to shriek in total fear.
"hay I don't mean to scare you little one" the male wolf puts him down gently and ruffles sables head hair and smiles at him. "you can't just grab the food of the barbecue, you will burn your little fingers"
I began to whimper as my tummy started to growl then sables eyes widened "has you gots a wion in deres" he giggled.
I began to giggle with him and then the wolf said calmly "no I think she is hungry"
"yeps mees is vewy hungwy" I stop and look at the wolf, "what it yooses names?" I ask him sweetly.
"I'm Moon Wolf, what are your names then kids?"
"Sabwe is my names and dis is my sister" sable answered boldly and points to me.
"me Candy" I answer in a shy voice.
"They are sweet names, where are your parents?" he asked worriedly.
"We don'ts haf any" we both answer at the same time.
"Well I would look after you if I was able to but I don't think I am father material" he says and looks down then says
"hay do you kids want some food?"
We both nod and crawl over to the hot barbecue standing in the middle of a large open area with a hand made fire beneath it causing the meat to heat up slowly and cook but we keep our distance from it and Moon comes back with a plate full off cooked meat he then chops it up into very small pieces so me and sable could eat and we both ate till we were full and drank some nice water. Sable fell asleep curled up next to Moon Wolf but I couldn't sleep.
"What's the matter Candy?" he looks at me.
I sigh quietly and I begin to tear up "Is dere anyone that could wuck after me?"
He begins to think quite hard then as if I light bulb had popped into his mind "I think there is, he's called Malakai Silver, he's a Lucario but don't worry he's a nice guy and I'm sure he would look after you and your brother Sable" he begins to stroke Sable's head hair as he slept. I smiled at the thought of new hope and I fell asleep next to my brother.
As I slept I dreamt of what this man could be like he picked me up and rocked me gently I smiled and Sable giggled, we called him daddy and he tucked us in at night. I began to smile as I slept.
