Chapter 19: Bruised Bodies and Egos

Later as they got back to his home, she left him to take a shower, so she could prepare something special for her wolfman. Upon getting out of the shower, he noticed her set a bag onto his desk. She smiled at him deviously pulling out a blindfold from her backpack. "Alright, it's my turn to make you feel good" she said eagerly before she tugged at his towel playfully. She blushed as it fell to his feet, and she stared at him for a minute. "Oopsie"

He grabbed the blindfold and put it on with her help. She pushed him over or at least attempted to as she giggled to herself. "Okay now...get on your belly" she said. He did as he was told going along with it all. He heard the ruffling of clothes and crinkling of bags followed by a squelch from a container. She synced her Bluetooth with his speakers and started playing their music before she climbed onto him. He could feel her hands covered in some sort liquid that smelled like scented oils from personal massage gel.

She worked her hands over his back, and he gave out an approving murr. When she leaned in to pull his arms out to work on, he could feel the weight of her breasts rest and mash into his back. His primal side wanted to get out as she kept up with her antics.

The music on the speakers skipped as her phone prompted an incoming text message, which she sighed heavily and rubbed the excess oil onto his arm and onto his towel. She let out a loud stressed out groan before she set her phone back down. He frowned as she got back on top of him "What's wrong?" he asked.

She leaned forward to resume giving him a massage. "My Grandparents are going over. They want to meet you" she said before she started to play with his biceps. "They are staying until New Year's" she said.

He turned over in his bed and tried to remove his blindfold, and she grabbed his hand. "They are here now? For two months?" he asked.

"Yes, now sit still!" she raised her voice as she began to massage his chest. She leaned in to plant a kiss on his lips and mashed her breasts into his chest. "Focus on me, big bad" she told him seductively.

He flinched and sat up as she reached down grabbing him. "What are you..." he muttered quickly before she touched his chest and pushed him back after she kissed him on the lips once more placing him into a deep passionate lip lock.

Her phone soon vibrated, and she grumbled to herself not wanting this moment to end. She turned and tried to reach for her phone on the night stand. Her finger tapped it knocking it off, and she growled. "Shit!" she muttered.

He let out a wholesome chuckle as he began to stir from his slumber. "I've never heard you curse before" he said before he reached over her with his long arms and snatched her phone from the floor. "Here ya go" he said as he handed it to her.

She blushed as she took her phone from him. "Thank you, hun" she said before she checked her messages. "I didn't want to wake you up, dear" she said. She turned around to kiss him on the nose. "My Parents are back home...I'm going to have to go" she said as she crawled out of bed. She giggled to herself, while she got dressed. "I'm looking forward to being with you during mating season" she said before she gave him a seductive gaze.

He grinned evilly and snickered. "Oh, I'd bet" he replied before he got out of bed.

Her face turned bright red as her eyes wondered down his nude form. "Put some clothes on, hun" she said before she put on one of his shirts.

She stuffed her breasts back into her undersized bra appearing to overflow like muffins instead of something being supported wholly. She slipped the rest of her other supplies into her backpack before she smiled back at him. "You don't mind if I wear your shirt for a nightgown, will you?" she asked.

He looked at her confused. "You know, I've already worn that shirt today right?" he asked as he quickly got his shorts back on.

She blushed. "Um, yea...I know...Is that okay? It'll help me sleep" she asked as she slid his t-shirt over her curvy frame. "I sleep better when you're with me...I thought maybe your smell would do the trick" she said timidly. She giggled to herself noticing just how big his shirt was. "Plus, my boobs look a lot smaller when I wear this..." she said.

He gulped seeing that she had already helped herself to his shirt, which he sighed heavily. "Yea, you can wear it, but my shirt can't substitute the real me" he said.

She scowled at him. "Don't remind me! But it's just going to have to make do for now" she said before she gulped looking at the shirt. "This isn't too weird is it?" she asked as she slipped on Portland Trail Blazer jersey shorts that stretched around by her lower half. She was getting subconscious about the pounds she put on, but she was glad that her boyfriend did not mind. Deep down however, she feared that she might end up looking like her mother and grandmother. She did not want to ever get that unhealthy.

He shrugged. "Nah, it's not the weird to me...but I've gotten used to all things weird" he said before he walked with her down the stairs. "Just don't be making a shrine out of my clothes" he teased. She punched him in the shoulder blade playfully, and he looked back at her amused. "What?" he shouted.

"Just get ready!" she shouted.

After they finished getting dressed, they made their way back to Sasha's home where her grandmother opened the door, and she smiled warmly at her. "Oh, yer back early" she said with her Dublin accent.

"Your Grandma's Irish?" Toby whispered to her.

"So, this is Toby?" her grandfather asked with his Cape Breton dialect

"I know, He's much bigger in person" her grandmother added as she reached over to fondle his bicep.

Her grandfather stroked his snow-white goatee beaming brightly. "So, they let him level those kids like that!? He should be playing for my Argonauts!" he shouted with amusement.

"Uh, Thanks?" Toby said not sure whether or not to take it as a compliment.

Her grandmother giggled. "He's got a really deep voice, and it's really carries far too"

"Very tall, excessive muscle mass, deep powerful voice, he's definitely a Wolfgang that's for certain" her grandfather remarked.

We really must have him and his family over for thanksgiving dinner" she said with approval.

He blushed. "Uh, so about thanksgiving..." he muttered before he was interrupted by her grandfather.

"How would you like to go hunting with us for our thanksgiving feast?" he asked.

Toby stared at him in shock before he looked towards Sasha in terror as she looked at him intensely. "Uh, hunting for what?" he wondered.

Her grandfather laughed. "For turkey of course!" he said.

"I think it would be a grand opportunity for Eric to open his eyes" her grandmother stated.

Toby felt his mate reach behind his back to draw him down closer to her. "Go hunting with them. Okay?" she whispered to him sternly. He nodded back before she patted him on the shoulder roughly. "Looks like you're officially part of the family" she told him proudly.

Her grandmother stared at the oversized shirt that she was wearing, and she raised an eyebrow. "Where did ye get that t-shirt from?" she asked. Sasha gulped as her grandmother continued to stare at her chest. "Do ye need a set of new bras, dear?" she asked.

Sasha gulped before she nodded while covering up her chest self-consciously. "Yea, but they don't carry anything bigger here in the states" she said.

Her grandmother laughed and touched her arm reassuring her. "I can get you fitted properly, don't worry about that" Her grandmother said. Sasha stared at her causing her grandmother to frown "Is there something else?" she asked.

Sasha gulped. "Um...I don't want y'all to freak out, but they haven't stopped growing like they were supposed to. They feel normal, but you know about that DNA test they gave me after you had cancer..." she said before her grandmother crossed her arms over her chest.

"Just because ye have the gene, it doesn't mean ye get the cancer. If ye live a healthy life, that gene will remain dormant" she said before Sasha cleared her throat.

"Grandma, look at me...do you think I look healthy?"

Her grandmother sighed heavily. "Ye still have time to get back into shape" She replied.

So, just how did you find out that you had cancer?" Sasha asked.

Her grandmother sighed heavily. "Well, I noticed I had a lump and paid not much mind until a week later it was feeling sore and hot, and I went to have a mammogram. They found a spot. They did a biopsy. Lucky for me it was early on. I've been fine ever since" she said as she touched her granddaughter's shoulder.

Sasha smiled faintly and let out a relieved sigh of relief. "Thanks" she said before she cleared her throat. "I measured myself, and I think I may have grown two cup sizes since you were last here" she said.

Her grandmother snickered. "Well, I'd say several" she teased. She cleared her throat. "So, um...This stud knocked you up huh?" she asked. Sasha's face went bright red and she nodded quickly, and her grandmother sighed. "I know when I got pregnant, I gained some weight..." she said before she trailed off looking at him sternly. "Ye plan to marry my granddaughter...right?"

Toby got uncomfortable and gulped. "Uh, well...Yea, eventually"

"Ah good..." She said before she glanced at Sasha proudly. "So ye bagged yerself a massive werewolf for a husband have ye?"

Toby squirmed with her grandparents encouraging Sasha to settle down with him as behaving they were werewolves themselves. "Um, are you really okay with this?"

"I choose to look at the bright side of things" Her grandmother spoke out calmly.

"We know you'll treat her with respect and care" Her grandfather added giving him a pat on the shoulder.

Makita barked frantically trying to get their attention. Her grandfather put his coat on and attached the leash to the dog. He picked up his stereotypical Tim Hortons mug filled with freshly brewed coffee, which he was scolded by his wife. "Really Marty? Yer drinking more caffeine?"

Her chuckled at her. "I already have the jet lag. It's morning somewhere, right?" he told her as Makita pulled against her leash wanting to break free. "Heel! Oh wow, she really is worked up now isn't she?" he grunted trying to struggle between preserving his hot cup of Joe and restraining the hyperactive sled dog.

His wife rolled her eyes at him and shook her head. "Ye cannot tell me ye didn't foresee this happening, did ye?"

Sasha rushed over to burden the leash; however, it was too late as her dog broke free from his grip rushing to greet Toby. She jumped up with her front paws up against his side panting heavily with her tongue lulled out without a care in the world.

Toby looked up at them awkwardly before ruffled her shoulder. "Uh, I can explain..."

"Hehe, explain what? Looks like she trusts ye" Sasha's grandmother spoke out with satisfaction.

He chuckled gently pushing the dog off before he sighed heavily. "She's a funny dog going up to a werewolf like that" he said.

"Well Toby, to be fair, it did take about a week before she got totally comfortable with you" Sasha remarked.

Eric's headlights could be seen rolling down the street into the cul-de-sac, which Toby was going to immediately bolt out of their if it were not for Marty calling out to him, "Don't be running off. Take this like a man. We'll do all the talking, well...Aoife will do all the talking"

Eric pulled into the driveway, and Marty took a sip from his mug. "Good mornin'" he greeted him. Eric looked at him strangely as he slammed the door shut.

"I'm just here to get my things and..." he muttered before Aoife marched her way over to him.

"Eric Calhoun Goldwater! What have I told you about joining angry mobs without talking to us first!?"

Eric stared at her then glared at Toby. "What are you taking his side?"

"Are ye an expert on Supernatural politics?" She retorted. She pointed back at Toby and continued on with her lecture. "Ye stabbing at a hornet's nest...and they are already pissed of to begin with" she said.

"Eric, this is very important. These aren't your run of the mill backwoods mindless monsters. They are sapient and they are organized" Marty spoke out as he took another calm sip.

"Come inside...I can show you the history here, the truth!" Aoife told him. She looked towards Toby and motioned for him to follow her. He gulped, but he did as he was told. Once they were inside, Aoife had all of them sit around the fire before she opened up a briefcase full of documents, very old documents.

"Inside here, I have copies from achieves from the Ministry of Supernatural Affairs" She told them as she handed Eric a stack to read.

Her grandparents walked up to him eagerly, which her grandfather took a sip from his mug. "Those documents are reports of increased werewolf sightings in the 16th and 17thcentury. Most of which were incidental and were not the killings ye've heard of on the continent at the time. We believe they were fleeing persecution. There was the concern with breeding with the locals, and a problem with livestock being hunted but rarely were there any attacks on human; although, most were provoked.

In 1668 Charles the second pardoned two werewolves on the condition they would join expedition into Hudson Bay and hunt furs. It was so successful that there was a campaign to lure werewolves and exiling captured ones to start up the most lucrative business empire this world has ever known. Ye see here, they were trying to go to where they could be free and no hide what they were. They aren't evil.

Toby's father has saved the world from a Nazi super soldier experiment that would have used modified werewolves in the fight. He also stopped a Soviet invasion into Canada who were also using Werewolves. It's all here if you want to read on all the werewolves around here and what they have done for ye to have yer freedom, and he was spat in the eye" she explained to him.

Eric stared at her overwhelmed and then at the papers. "What does all this have to do with anything?"

"Jesus Eric! If ye can't read then let me spell it out for ye! These werewolves were here before America, and they are fighting for their freedom. Toby's father stopped the fighting. The US government put out a hit on him hoping to reignite tensions. Don't ye get it? The wolves are angry, Eric! I would prefer ye not try to kill one that has been trying to help us" Aoife told him as she gently touched Toby's arm.

Eric skimmed through the papers and made a face. "Why haven't you mentioned this before?"

"This is classified information, but if ye don't want to read it" she told him before grabbing the stack of papers. Eric clutched them tightly and resisted her.

"Hold on, let me see this"

"Look, I got work tomorrow. I really don't see why you all need me here" Toby muttered.

"Oh, okay then" Aoife said cheerfully.

"See ya later big bad!" Sasha told him as she gave him a peck on the cheek.

He looked up and smirked. "I'll see you around lil' red" he whispered into her ear before he took off.

Aoife suddenly remembered why she had invited Toby inside. "Toby, before you go...can ye tell us what's been going on? Has Ian Green returned?"

"Yea" He muttered. "But he's much weaker now..."

"Well naturally, a werewolf is past their prime after they are 100. Ian is double than that. He was already weakening when he was overthrown. Bernard has past his prime as well. Right now, is a vulnerable time for yer clan. Have they started talking about who's to be his successor?"

"No, that's not how our clan works"

"Ye haven't been getting any special training from Bernard and the Elders, have ye?"

"...It doesn't have anything to with that"

"I doubt that. What do you think Marty?" Aoife called out to her husband.

Marty sat inside the dinning room with his daughter. He shrugged his shoulders. "I'm sure Bernard has his own offspring who are just as good a candidate as Toby is..." he rambled before he noticed his wife's annoyed glance. "Err, sorry, he's going to need to show what makes him standout"

"Really Marty, if ye can't see it, ye need to see the optometrist again. Looks at him! He's a thing of fairy tales!"

Marty adjusted his glasses straight-faced. "He looks like just an abnormally large lycanthrope. I'm surprised that you are not jaded after seeing all the weird stuff we've been subjected to"

"I have to go" Toby muttered as he snuck out of the door.

"See what you did!? You offended him!" Aoife called out.

Sasha laughed nervously. "He really does have to work" she added. "What do you think after meeting him in person"

"He seems nice. He's really quiet" her grandmother said happily, and Sasha giggled as her dog barked happily. "I would be honored if he became a part of our family"

The next morning, Toby rode his longboard to the commuter rail station, which he stopped by the Plaid Pantry where he met up with Zoe. They pillaged the rack of Tillamook Jerky and other junk food. They got their share of stares from the customers, but the cashier paid no mind to their excessive height, build, or unhealthy food choices.

They passed by a homeless man begging for spare change. Zoe handed over 41 cents, but Toby growled at him pulling his bag of stuff way. Zoe nudged him and asked, "You alright Toby?"

"Sasha's grandparents gave Eric an ultimatum. I got roped into it somehow"

"Did they tell him that Sasha's preggers?" She asked as they both laid down their boards.

"No, I don't think they did" He replied back as he stuffed his sack into his backpack.

"Did you not get nookie with Sasha?" She asked as they made pushed off downslope into town.

Toby scowled at her before she started to bust out laughing. "Oh wow...you doing No Nut November?"

"That's not funny"

"Well yea, it is! She has got you all spoiled"

"I'm not spoiled!" he shouted at her.

"Sounds like something who is spoiled would say, nuff said!" She retorted with a little snicker. "I knew she would be good with wolves"

"I guess"

"What do you mean you guess? She has practically got you eating out of her paw"

They made it to the train station, and he strapped his board onto his backpack. "I'm not domesticated" He grumped. The whole town was enshrouded in a thick mist. Everything was blurred out past twenty feet. Water dripped off the shelter, and a frequent whoosh from the passing cars.

"Sure you have..." she rolled her eyes before the zipped on down the ramp towards her job at the nearby pet store at the plaza. Toby popped in his earbuds and started blasting his music while he texted with Sasha. The train soon arrived; he could hear the horn blare through his headphones. He quickly hoped on and shown the conductor his pass before he sat down in his spot next to the window.

He pulled out his phone as his music was interrupted with a text alert.

"I'll meet you at the quarry after work" --Zoe 7:30

"Sasha's Supernatural squad wants to watch too" --Zoe 7:31

He sighed heavily as the train jerked forth. "Alright, we're just sparing anyway right? Or also are we channeling?" --Toby 7:31

He looked out the window as the train flew over a bridge and floodplain. His music was interrupted again, and he pulled his phone out. "I don't know what dad has planned, but I would say that we'll probably do aura channeling too" --Zoe 7:32

He gritted his teeth and went back to listening to his music. After the train reached its terminus, he skated over to an awaiting light rail train, and he quickly boarded it before setting his board into his lap. The passengers stared at him in curiosity knowing just who he was, and some of them snuck pictures of him as the train departed the transit center.

He checked his phone just as Sasha's message popped up. "Good morning BB, have a good day at work" --Sasha 8:00

He smiled as he replied back, "I'll see you later :-)" --Toby 8:05

When he lowered his phone, he was crowded by a man and his son.

The man and his son both had a Tualatin t-shirt and a sharpie pen, and his son stared at him in shock. "Would you sign our shirts?" the man asked.

Toby looked around as everyone watched him carefully. He gulped and took the pen before he signed their shirts. He noticed that the train was a lot more crowded than usual, and he found out why as more people came over asking for his autograph.

As he got off the train, more people bugging him for autographs on the platform. He signed more on the elevator, and once he stepped out, there were droves of people waiting at the admission gates to the zoo. He ducked in the crowd of people as they got out of the elevator, and he looked at his phone to check the time.

His eyes widened in horror. "Shit!" he blurted out. He charged out of the horde and someone shouted something before everyone looked towards him and started trying to get his attention as he ran through the parking lot. He jumped the fence, and his boss waited with her arms crossed smirking.

She shook her head at him and followed him to the time clock inside. "Did you have anything to do with this?" she teased him.

He punched in, and he smiled awkwardly. "Hey, All I did was play a football game...nothing different than before" he said modestly.

She patted his back. "Someone from your school posted on Instagram that you worked here, then that was taken to pretty much every social media site...People started showing up two hours before even I got here" she said with enthusiasm.

He raised an eyebrow. "Seriously? For a varsity high school football player?" he asked.

She playfully jabbed him the shoulder. "Yes, they came to see a 5-star varsity high school football player who's been on nationally televised games and whose got videos post up the wazoo with highlight after highlight all over the internet" she said.

He stared at her before he grinned. "You think we'll be able to get that expansion?" he asked.

She grinned. "I've already got that settled a while ago" she said before she pulled out her tablet and showed him the map of the annex. "We're moving the Great Northwest Exhibits here. It's going to be much bigger than what we got now" she said before she looked at the time. "You get going super star!" she said.

He nodded before he rushed out of the building, but one of his coworkers pulled up with the maintenance vehicle and beckoned him to get on. He got into the passenger seat, and they sped off through the campus to the wolf exhibit. He pulled out his phone to text Zoe. "Hey, do you got a crowd of people over at Petco?" --Toby 8:25

"There was, but I got sick and tired of it. I thought I'd share the spotlight. Sorry but not sorry XD" --Zoe 8:26

"Did you dox me?" --Toby 8:27

"Technically you're a public figure, so it's not really doxing. I just told everyone where you work" --Zoe 8:28

"That's doxing, Zoe" --Toby 8:29

At the wolf exhibit there was a densely packed crowd piled up on the observation deck, which he had no way to get onto the deck, so after he got out of the vehicle and jumped the fence.

The wolves perked their ears up, and they all rushed up to him jumping onto him wagging their tails. He looked up at the crowd filming and taking pictures of the site. As he gave his lecture about wolves, the juveniles kept gnawing at his hands, and he eventually started to play with them by pushing one off and pinning the young wolf to the ground as others pounced onto him nipping at his arms.

He rolled away and took off running, which they all took chase around the enclosure. As he made his way back around, he looked up at them. "As you can see, running away from any predator is a bad idea. They are built to chase things" he shouted as he ran past them.

He stopped and turned back to run at them, which they evaded him and doubled back. As he ran around, his boss stood by the fence watching the guests' reactions to the spectacle. She crossed her arms over her chest as he ran back. He stopped in front of her and gulped as she looked at him anxiously. "Toby, you know how I feel about you exciting them too much" she warned him.

Just as he was about to respond the wolves caught up to him and started gnawing onto his arms and legs once more. He frowned and looked towards the wolves sternly before their ears pinned back, and they released him backing up while lowering their heads in submission. The people gawked at the control he had over the wolves, but his boss looked up clearing her throat. "I don't want them to get the wrong idea about wolves making great pets" she said sternly.

He nodded. "Alright...I'll make a little disclaimer from now on" he said before he went back to resume his lecture.

When he got off work, he felt the hairs on the back of his neck stand up as he waited for the elevator to the underground station. He turned around looking for the source of the disturbance, but the ones around him were humans who were several feet away.

As he got onto the train, his coworker sat across from him, which she looked at him carefully. He looked away trying to shake off this feeling, but after the train pulled out of the station, he saw his father's reflection in the window. He looked toward where the image came from, but no one was there. He stared into the empty void, which his coworker frowned. "What's wrong?" she asked.

He said nothing as the lights in the train flickered, and when he looked towards the end of the train, he saw his father once more. He stared at the entity for five minutes until they got out of the tunnel, which his father disappeared as soon as the sunlight hit him.

His coworker got frightened, and she nudged his arm. "Toby!" she raised her voice.

He looked up at her disoriented. "Yea, I'm fine" he said calmly.

She frowned skeptically. "Are you sure? You were looking like you were having a seizure" she said.

He regained his awareness and looked back at where he once saw his hallucination. "I'm sure...I guess it was the lights" he said lowly.

She nodded nervously. "Yea, that makes sense..." she said before she got up. "See ya later" she said before she got off the train. He waved back before he pulled his phone out to start playing some music.

Once he got home, he found Todd and Sasha wrestling in the front yard, which Zoe sat on the step watching in boredom. She watched him ride his longboard passed them, which she looked at her phone impatiently. She sighed heavily and jumped up to meet up with him. She stopped close by as he jumped off his board and picked it up.

He looked up, and she scowled at him with her arms crossed over her chest tapping her elbow impatiently. "Hurry up! I've been here for three hours already!" she shouted.

He raised an eyebrow. "You know what time I get off work" he said.

Her eye twitched. "They switched your hours, Baka!" she shouted before her nose flared. "Just get ready!" she grumbled at him as she pushed him towards his door.

His mother opened the door as he staggered in, and she looked at him oddly before she looked over at her sternly. "Stay aware out there" she warned her.

He looked over at his mother closely before he looked over at Ulf sitting on the couch. He appeared to be very weary, but he remained quiet as he watched him rush into his room to change. As his mother walked inside, she let out a long sigh. "So, are you going?" she asked him.

He looked up at her and nodded. "Yea, I think it would be a good idea. No sense in training without a teacher...right?" he asked.

She nodded before she looked up at Toby as he rushed back down the stairs. He stood up, and he put his cloak and mask on. "I'm going with your group, alright Toby?" he said.

Toby looked towards his mother who was rubbing her back in slight discomfort. She sighed heavily. "Your gear is in the garage..." she said wearily.

He nodded and scurried into the garage, which Sasha entered the house and raised an eyebrow as the garage door slammed shut. "Was that Toby?"

"Yup"

"How did I figure?" Sasha muttered before she looked up the stairs noticing that Phoebe and Tommy dressed up in padding. Tommy seemed very eager to get started while Phoebe played it cool as they rushed downstairs. "Beat you outside!"

"Hey no fair!" Todd shouted.

Loud noises came from the garage like a half-muffled crash but was being caught suddenly before it could hit the ground. Toby walked out with weight wrapped all over him and padded up. "You're wearing all of that in one go?" he muttered in shock.

Toby walked across the floor, which each step sounded as if a giant was thundering through the living room. Todd collided with Toby and fell onto his backside. Toby stared him down intensely and gave an annoyed growl. Sasha eyed him closely as he stormed out of the house before she gulped. "Is he still upset about Todd?" she muttered.

Lilian stared at the door as it was left ajar. "As least nothing's broken" she said cheerfully.

"He was in a bad mood this morning" Tommy remarked.

"Why?" Sasha asked.

Tommy shrugged, but Phoebe stared at him. "What?" he muttered.

She shook her head at him and walked out the door. "You're such a moon moon"

"Hey, stop calling me that!" Tommy shouted.

"What's a moon moon? Is that like the same thing as an Omega?" Sasha asked.

"No, moon moon means..." Lilian said before Tommy blurted out.

"She called me a retard"

Lilian looked towards him with disapproval before she shook her head. "I would have said special needs..." she explained before she pulled out her phone and showed Sasha an internet meme.

Sasha saw the moon moon meme and snickered to herself. "Kind of reminds me of Toby"

"Being a moon moon just mean you did or said something stupid or bizarre"

Zoe walked in already dressed into her gear, and she looked at them impatiently with. "I'm going to wait five more minutes" she shouted.

"Are you ready moon moon?" Sasha teased.

Tommy growled before Zoe snorted out of her nose. "Moon moon"

Sasha walked outside and smiled as Todd chased Toby around the driveway. She looked back at Zoe who was getting more irritable by the minute. "Are you alright? Why are you in a bad mood all of the sudden" she asked.

Zoe gritted her teeth as she watched Toby closely. "I'm fine...I just want him to take things seriously this time" she muttered. Her eye twitched as she clenched her fist tightly. "My dad got drunk last night...he flat out said that Toby is stronger than me now" she told her before her eyes narrowed. "...If he is, he should be able to lay better hits on me" she muttered.

Sasha frowned watching her best friend start to tear up. "I just hate it when someone goes soft on me because I'm a girl" she muttered.

Sasha touched her friend's shoulder gently. "You think Toby's really like that?"

"Well no, but...it's just...something happened, and...I don't understand how he overtook me"

"Sounds like you could use some chocolate. You can have a piece, can't you?" Sasha asked.

Zoe stared at her before she quietly nodded her head, which she was whisked away into Sasha's house where she had a stash of Halloween candy in bedroom. She stared at her surprised as she pulled out chocolate bars from her dresser. "Uh, thanks" she said as she took a chocolate bar from her and tore it open.

Sasha looked at her nervously as she swept up the bandages under her bed using her foot before she sat down with her hands in her lap. She watched Zoe eat the bar quickly, which she gulped concerned that all her stash. "Um, Zoe? You aren't going to eat all my chocolate, are you?" she muttered as she began to blush brightly.

Zoe looked up at her and cocked her head, and Sasha cleared her throat. "Well, um...I only have three more peanut butter cups. Toby always sticks his nose in my dresser and eats them all"

Zoe snickered to herself and sighed. "Yup, sounds about right"

They walked downstairs, and she looked towards Eric who was watching sports highlights. He quickly got up as Zoe walked with Sasha to the door, which he gulped approaching her. "Zoe, can I speak with you for a moment alone?" he asked. He looked towards Sasha sternly.

Sasha looked between them nervously, and she left the two in the living room to talk. As she stepped outside, she noticed her hunk of a boyfriend out maneuvering her slow and much less in shape brother albeit he was no longer obese like he was before.

Toby stopped within arm's length from her grinning exultantly. "You're going to have to be much faster if you want to touch me" he boasted.

She smirked evilly and slowly reached out for him. "Touch!" she said playfully poking his bicep giggling cutely.

He scowled at her and huffed. "You know how to get a guy when his guard is down, don't you?" he asked as he pouted.

She nodded smiling as she ran her finger over the curvature of his bicep. "Yep, you're still real" she said thoughtfully as she bit her lip. She suddenly wrapped her arms around his trunk and leaned her head into his back, which he looked back at her oddly whilst she took in a drag off his scent. "You're such a good wolfie, I wouldn't pick other person to be with but you, Toby" she said.

He watched her closely as his instincts kicked in. "You make me feel so much stronger inside, Sasha" He said softly. He looked up at her brother who kept his distance away not being comfortable seeing this kind of romance.

She gripped onto his sides tighter and cooed happily before she began to scratch at his washboard abs. "You know...Maybe later we could you know...spend some alone time together" she said shyly. Her brother watched on in disgust as she romanced with her boyfriend, and he wished he could not hear how gushy she got with Toby.

He smiled as many devious thoughts crept into his head, and he gave her a nod with a wink. "I'm up for it" he said eagerly. She rotated around him and ran her hands up his chest onto his shoulders where she looked into his eyes deeply.

He leaned in to plant a passionate kiss on her lips before she reached up to grab his neck pulling his head back towards her luscious lips. "I'll have a surprise for you...I hope you don't mind being blindfolded" she said with an alluring growl afterward.

He growled back at her deeply while running a hand over her hip. "Sounds like a good time for sure" he said before he planted another kiss on her lips, which by then, her brother was greatly disturbed by the conversation.

"Oh god! Quit being gross!" he shouted.

Ulf finally came outside with the twins who were carrying supplies, and he led the way down to the cul-de-sac. Toby looked over at them and made a face feeling their stares.

Percy and the others arrived, and he parked his purple Chevy Impala near Sasha's house. Everyone quickly rushed out of the car and surrounded them. Clare was wearing her glasses and dressed more casually just as Kari was. Percy was in a plaid shirt wearing thick glasses as well, and he looked around. "Where's Zoe?" he asked.

Just then, Zoe walked out of Sasha's house appearing awkward and confused. She looked up at Toby and shook her head at him as she walked over to the group. She let out a heavy sigh before she looked up at Percy amused trying to push away her argument with Sasha's father. "Rocking the old school hipster look, aren't ya Percy?" she teased him.

He looked away timidly before he laughed nervously. "Um, I-I" he said before she came over to slug him in the shoulder. "Ow...you know that really hurts" he muttered rubbing his shoulder.

She snickered before she gave him a seductive gaze. "You'll get over it" she said in an alluring tone before she hit him in the arm again.

"Hey! Ow! Quit it! I'm not built like Toby!" he whined as he rubbed his arm.

She crossed her arms over her chest grinning evilly. "Sorry, but you have no choice" she said as she looked back at the rest of the group.

Todd looked over at them curiously as Ulf and the twin caught up with them. Ulf carried a backpack filled with food and supplies that was fit to burst at any moment. "Let's get going, we're burning daylight" he said.

Zoe scowled at them. "Yea, come on...I wanna see what you got!"

Todd was already down at the corner of the street looking back at them annoyed. "Come on! Let's go!!" he yelled impatiently.

"Jez! Calm down!" Sasha yelled at him.

Toby took his girlfriend's hand and they all walked a couple blocks, which they caught up with Ulf and the Twins along with the rest of them. Toby bumped into Percy, which Sasha felt kind of bad with him not being well vested with werewolf culture. "Just so you know, that punching thing Zoe and Toby do to you, it's just a werewolf's way in saying they like you" she explained.

Zoe slugged him again and batted her eyes at him. "She's right though. We do like to beat on each other if we're good friends. Just don't get any ideas on hitting either of us out of the blue. That will get yourself killed" she said.

Percy rubbed his arm. "What do you mean? That was out of the blue!" he protested.

She shook her head at him. "No, it wasn't...you laughed at my joke, and I punched you. Then you whined, so I had to punch you again" she said.

Percy looked between them confused. "But, why don't you do that with Sasha?"

"Sasha's not a warrior"

"Toby bites me a lot" Sasha mentioned.

"...a werewolf always bites their significant other" Toby added.

"Yup, unless you prefer, I bite you" Zoe said before she winked at Percy.

He blushed while the rest of his friends laughed or snickered at him. "Death by snu snu" Clare muttered.

"What's snu snu?" Todd asked.

"I dunno" Tommy muttered.

"Tch, they're talking about Zoe smashing that short guy" Phoebe told them.

"Why? She's only into big guys ain't she?" Tommy asked.

Phoebe smacked herself in the forehead. Zoe laughed at him. "You bet your ass I like big boys" she told them proudly patting Percy's shoulder.

"Moon moon" Phoebe muttered.

Percy blushed and tried to change the subject. "So, I was watching wolves on YouTube, and I was wondering how much do you guys act like them? Is punching each other your version of play biting? Do you sniff each other or mark trees?" he asked.

"Yea we do that all the time. Toby has his spot he mark...ow!" Tommy said before Phoebe punched him in the shoulder. Toby and Zoe looked at each other embarrassed before Ulf chortled loudly.

Sasha giggled. "If you know a werewolf long enough, you won't be able to tell what's wolf from man" she said before she smiled at Toby. "I notice a few wolf-like behaviors from him and Zoe, but I never felt in any danger" she said before she leaned against him. "I've been feeling nervous for him whenever he does act wolf like out in public" she said while reaching up to ruffle his chest admiring him.

They approached a fence, which Toby immediately helped Sasha over a fence before jumping over it himself. Zoe dumped Percy over and pushed him to the ground as she jumped over hm. "Watch it dork!" she shouted smirked at him as she bumped him once more.

Todd whimpered. "Hey wait! What about me!?" He shouted.

They all looked back, which Toby crossed his arms over his chest. "Stop whining. You can clear this fence easy, or you can just go around if you're going to be such a weenie about it" he said.

Todd nodded before Phoebe grabbed him and hurled him over the fence. He screamed as he flew into the embankment with a great thud. "Ooof!"

"Holy smokes...Todd? Are you okay!?" Sasha yelled.

"Pfff, He's fine!" Phoebe muttered.

"Show off" Tommy muttered.

They reached the drainage ditch, which Todd was on the side of the embankment lying on his stomach gasping for breath. Toby jumped over to him and shook him by the shoulders. "Get up! I know you're alright...you're really milking it. I took a pipe to the chest" he spoke out firmly.

Todd moaned as he got up slowly. "I had no idea..." He muttered still trying to recover after having the wind knocked out of him.

He slid down the embankment landing on the railroad ballast, and he looked at Todd impatiently. "Come on! Let's go!" Toby raised his voice impatiently. The rest of the group have already gone off far ahead.

While they walked along the tracks, Sasha stared at the 15-acre half mile long swampy pond on the other side. You could hear the Bull frogs croaking, and she imitated the croaks only with a female tone. A heron was pretending to be a ninja in the shallows before it stared at the group. Todd looked at the heron squawked at it, which Toby glared at him.

Percy laughed to himself, and he nudged Zoe paying her back for knocking him down. "That was terrible...he sounded like a crow that smoked from a chimney for thirty years" he said.

Zoe grinned. "It sounds like a chew toy after my bother got done with it" she said before she nudged him back harder.

Sasha giggled at the two exchanging nudges. "Don't knock him in the pond!" she warned before she latched onto Toby's arm and nuzzled her head into his shoulder with this dreamy look on her face.

Zoe smirked at glanced over at Percy with evil intent. "Well there's an idea!" she said.

His eyes grew wide as she reached for him. "What are you...Nuh! Nuh! Nuh! Nooo? Put me down?" he hollered as she picked him up and hoist him over her head. "Oh shit! This is not fun!" he shouted.

"It is for me!" she remarked with a sassy smirk. "Oh? What's that? Is that a train coming?" she teased him. She snickered as he wriggled around in her grip, but she finally put him back down with a big impish grin.

Toby heard something off in the distance, and he looked back. "You know what? I think WES is coming..." He said.

"What? I can't hear you over Percy's whining!" Zoe shouted as she slugged him once more.

"Ow! Why do you keep hitting that same spot?" he muttered rubbing his arm.

"That's the whole point of the game. Sport!" she said before she slugged him again.

Ulf looked back at them amused then snickered. "You know, she hurts the one she really likes. I would wear it as a badge of honor"

They all walked off the tracks and onto a path which Toby pulled out his phone checking his text messages while he waited patiently for the stragglers to catch up to him. A few seconds later, the train flew by from behind honking its horn. Sasha and the other humans watched the werewolves cringe while they all covered their sensitive ears. Kari and Clare were both amazed that Toby was spot-on with his call, and Percy looked at the destination sign on the train saying Salem.

"Well I'm awake" Toby shouted sarcastically as he rubbed his head.

Sasha looked at him worried. "You okay?" she asked spinning around in front of him to tend to him if need be.

He nodded slowly as he pulled his hands to his sides slowly. "Yea, I'll be alright. It's just that horn...and I didn't bring my ear buds! They usually blow their horns around here unless someone's too close to the tracks" he said lowly. He looked over at Percy very intensely, and he put his hands up defensively.

"Hey, don't look at me! I wasn't the last one!" he shrieked.

Zoe popped him in the back with her elbow. "You've been designated as the omega" she joked.

Toby got a loving back rub from his girlfriend, which he forgot why he was irritated. "You know, I'm amazed that you can deal with so much loud noises as it is" she said looking up at him with wonder.

Clare snickered. "That sounds like a smart idea to be wearing ear buds when you're going into town" she said sarcastically. She looked towards Sasha amused, and she winked. "I bet he's never had a near miss with him wearing them, has he?" she asked her with a mischievous grin. It was as if she had to remind her about the time, she almost struck Toby with her Blazer.

Sasha grinned and tried to hide her laugh, but with his scowling at them caused her to lose all control. Clare and Kari laughed with her hysterically, and Zoe leaned in to add her own snide comment, "You better look both ways then jump across traffic!"

Percy looked at them confused. "What's going on now?" he asked as they stopped just short of a bridge over a pond, and they started to head up a little dirt trail onto a huge one acre opening patch of dirt that slopped up into a dense forest.

Zoe giggled. "Well, Sasha nearly made Toby her hood ornament..." she said with a big grin. "It was fun watching her follow him living under microscope..."

When they continued on past the clearing, Percy looked back. "So, why are we training here?" he asked.

Zoe laughed at him. "Aren't you cute? That puny thing is too cramped. You have no idea how many times I threw Toby into that pond" she said before she pointed at herself. "We're much bigger wolves now, and we need something much bigger! Nuff said!" she said.

They arrived at an overlook of the entire 50-acre rock quarry, which they were perched on top of a sixty-foot horseshoe cliff. Ulf set the backpack down, and he looked at them sternly. "Listen, I'd rather not have you all get caught up in their sparring at this point, but you guys can watch them from here" he said before he looked towards the twins. "As for you two, I would like for you two to practice you defense sets"

"Yes sir" Tommy said.

The group pouted as Toby and Zoe began to stretch and run a warm up lap around the mile and a third dirt road that circumscribed the quarry rim. "Wow, they're already down there?" Percy remarked. Sasha found a log and sat on it admiring the view before the log got crowded by everyone else. "Sasha, how fast do you think they are going?" he asked.

Sasha shrugged. "Well...I know he can go faster than thirty-five miles an hour and do it for a long time. I'd say they're maybe going forty-five--err, um fifty miles an hour" she said.

"Sounds accurate" Ulf chimed in.

"I've heard the fastest werewolves can do a hundred in a short burst" Kari chimed in.

"Well that's if they are in Lycaon form, but with proper running technique and a good surface and shoes they could run sixty easy" Ulf corrected her.

"This place is good for them to work on wall-crawl technique and roof jumping. It's not the best for quick sudden movements however with all the dust, but beggars can't be choosers" he told them.

Toby and Zoe came back and opened their backpacks to pull out gallon jugs of water, and they did not drink modestly to say the least. "You ready?" Zoe asked as she shed her outer layer of clothing. Toby whipped the droplets of water off his face, and he nodded before he sat the jug beside Sasha's leg.

He looked up at her and smirked. "Alright, wish me luck" He said as he removed his shoes, shirt and shorts leaving him in his spandex suit. He sat his clothes on his backpack before he began to head off.

"Hey, wait!" She called out. She pulled out her phone and blushed. "Would it be okay for Terra and the others to watch you guys practice channeling?" she asked.

He shrugged his shoulders and looked towards Ulf, which he sighed. "It's up to you, but...don't go all out" he said as he sat on the end of the log. Zoe gave out a loud frustrated growl before Ulf glared at her. "Knock it off! You don't have anything to prove"

He unzipped the backpack and pulled out a baggy of jerky and goggles. "They are watching us" Ulf told her but he looked with his eyes towards the southwest portion of the quarry.

"Who?"

"Same ones from your Champoeg encounter"

"Oh...them"

"Don't be showing them the fullest extent of your powers. Got it?" he muttered as he munched on a strip of jerky.

They both nodded before they both walked away them split off, so they were a couple yards away. Zoe waited impatiently as Sasha started to stream the training session.

Sasha grinned. "I think you'll want to see this" she muttered before she switched the camera to the one facing forward just as Zoe relaxed and started to focus on her energy and Toby did the same.

A light breeze quickly grew to a strong gale as it swirled around the two hurling dirt and pine needles around.

"Oh, wow...that's an amazing sight..." --Terra 13:15

"That's just crazy! You never get to see two strong vortexes side by side like this!" --Meghan 13:15

Ulf grinned at the sight. "Perfect! Keep it up and try transforming at the same time!" he shouted.

Everyone shielded their eyes from the turbid wind as Toby and Zoe shifted into their therian forms stretching their specialized clothing to their limit.

"This is so cool!" Most of the comments said before the wind abated.

Toby and Zoe faced each other and Ulf pulled out special gauntlets and boots meant for sparring in this form. He walked over the two towering werewolves. "Alright, let me get these on you two before we forget" he said as he strapped the padding onto the two of them. "Go ahead and slap the shit out of each other" he shouted before he slapped at Toby's rump.

Sasha peered over at her boyfriend's shapely behind having very devious thoughts on how nice and form fitting the spandex like material shown off his assets. She glanced over at Clare and Kari who seemed to get just as much fan service as she did. Percy stared at Zoe not sure what to think, but he did have a positive response to it.

"Wow are they really going to fight" Todd said.

"Psh, it's called sparring. It's not an actual fight!" Phoebe corrected him.

The two titans charged at each other and began throwing punches, claws, kicks, and even whipping their tails into each other's faces. Clare and Kari gawked at their fighting form and style, and Percy helped Todd back onto the log. When he turned back, he saw Zoe tackling Toby to the ground, and she attempted to bite him. He barked and snarled before he kicked her off towards the edge. She slid across the dirt before she realized her gauntlets prevented her claws from digging into the soil. She yelped as her feet went over the rim until he grabbed her paw and lifted her up.

As he lifted her up, she pushed off the cliff forty-five degrees in relation with the wall away from the bottom. She flew over him using his grip as a tether before she threw him over her shoulder with all her might. He flew back and hit his back onto a two-foot diameter tree trunk hard enough to crack bone and snap the tree at its base. He cringed and felt the tree falling backward. He looked up at her standing couple feet away baring her teeth at him. "Why aren't you giving me your all!?" she shouted.

He stood up and whimpered. "We're sparring...we aren't supposed to be actually fighting" he muttered as he rubbed his back. "I'm weighed down in case you haven't noticed!" he added.

"You think I buy that! You and I know this is a half assed!"

Ulf walked up to them frustrated. "That's enough! You two!" he shouted. He looked towards Toby sternly, and he cleared his throat. "Are you alright?" he asked.

Toby whimpered softly and nodded before he picked himself back up. Ulf sighed heavily and looked towards Zoe. "I think that'll do for now" he said. He looked back at Toby and shook his head at him. "When I told you to hold back, I didn't mean for you to slop up your technique. Or have you lost focus?" he said.

"I'm sorry, it's just...I ache" Toby muttered.

"Um! Ulf uh I think I know why Toby is..." Sasha called out before she shuffled over to him. "Um, Toby and I never finished last night..." she whispered before Ulf held out his hand.

"You don't need to tell me...I figured as much. Why don't you go back home and help him with his problem? I'll spar with the rest of them and give Todd some training sessions" he said before he looked towards Todd eagerly.

Todd flinched as his name was mentioned, and he looked towards Sasha worried. She smiled at him as she ended her video call. "You'll do fine" she told him before she hopped off the log. She looked back at the others and frowned. "You guys alright if I leave? I'll be right back" she asked.

Clare nodded slowly as the others gawked at the two werewolves. Sasha rushed over to her sore lover, and she touched his paw lightly. "Let's go hun" she said softly as she led him off through the woods to help relieve his pain.
