His Further Education

Part 6

For repanbo

By Draconicon

It took Gann some time to recover from becoming a magic titan the first time, as she had half-expected after it had rebounded on him the way that it had. Becoming magic tended to screw with your own senses for a bit, making one feel a bit off. Your own magic was knocked out of balance, and it meant that it was harder to connect to things outside of yourself. It was like having an arm replaced by the limb of another species, and then trying to use it the same way. You could eventually turn the metaphorical arm back to normal, but it meant that anything that you were used to doing took some adjustment to do it right again.

In the meantime, she relaxed with her house-slaves, the former monarchs surrounding her. Matria, the mare, sat on her cock, grinding the dragoness's fat dick into that horse donut, while Aussir, the orca, was down at her feet, rubbing them and licking them clean. The foxes, Maki and Naki, were at either side, rubbing and kissing, even licking at her breasts. They were soft and smooth compared to the other two, and she rewarded them with fingers up their assholes. Naki, the vixen, had her cock throbbing hard, while she could smell Maki's pussy getting wet under the chastity cage.

Heh, it's always fun to have a little variety with different bodies, she thought, looking back and forth between the former fox rulers. The queen was all female, save for the fact that she had a cock and a pair of balls, while the king was all male save for the pussy between his legs. Nobody else had known that they had such down there, but now? Now, anyone that came to talk to her saw it.

She had some hope that it helped keep people from feeling that ashamed when talking to her, or with themselves, but in reality, all that she knew for sure was that the display that they made aroused her, and that was enough.

As she started stroking her feet around Aussir's face, smearing her scent on the orca, she felt her apprentice coming down to her room. She cocked her head to the side as his presence grew stronger and stronger, until he felt like he was on the opposite side of the wall to her left.

Oh. He's doing that.

The wall reassembled itself, becoming a door with the power of the green dragon's magic. She sighed, sitting up as the various house-slaves came to a stop, all five of them turning to see what Gann had to say.

He was grinning, so it had to be good news. Drakina cocked her head to the side, running a claw up the mare's hips.

"So, Gann, what is so important that you had to come running, and so mild that you had time to show off?" she teased.

"I did it," he whispered.

"You did what?"

"I did the magic titan thing. I did it, and it was awesome."

"...You did it without my permission?"

Her lips wanted to rise in a smile for her apprentice, but at the same time, the fact that he had done it without asking or oversight was a thing. Not just for the sake of obedience, but for the fact that it could have hurt a lot of people if he had gone and done that and gotten it wrong. Obviously he hadn't, or the mountain would have felt a lot different, but the principle of the thing was still there.

"It was fine, just a small version of it," he said, shaking his head and waving it off. "I just did it in my room. No more than that."

"Gann."

"It was fine. I thought that it'd be a good small space to work with it, and I was right. Nothing bad happened."

"Gann," she repeated.

"I'm sorry, but I really wanted to try again, and you were busy, and -"

"Gann!"

She didn't quite shout, but she did raise her voice, and the green dragon finally stopped his runaway chatter. She held up a finger, and he blushed. Her apprentice lowered his head.

"Sorry, Mistress. I got excited and forgot."

"I can tell. Now. Do you want to know why I'm trying to get you to stop?"

"Because you think I made a mistake?"

"And you obviously don't, from that wording. Why don't you take a look at your tail?"

He blinked, looking over his shoulder and down. As soon as he did, she saw his face go bright red. As well it should. His tail wasn't there anymore, aside from being all ghostly, ephemeral, rather than real.

"I, but...how?"

"When you become magic, you tend to lose a lot of physical features. You kept them last time because it was a snap and passing out moment, and your magic was present enough to make sure that you turned back to normal. When you consciously detach, then you have to be the one that puts everything back to normal. I'm guessing that you were in such a hurry that you just imagined your legs and body in the most basic way, and hoped it'd all follow."

"...Kinda."

"Well, that's why you don't do that. Now you have to wait until next time to put your tail back to normal," she muttered, rubbing her forehead. "I'm just glad that's all that happened."

"Why? What else could have happened?"

"Well, if you decided to do the wrong thing? Or if you ended up concentrating too much magic in too small a space? You could have blown the top off the mountain and turned this whole place into a volcano," she said. "Or you could have flipped us all upside-down and put us underground instead of on top of it. Or any number of other things."

"...You can...do that?" he whispered.

"Oh, yeah. Being a magic titan means that you can make reality do a lot of stuff that it really shouldn't. That's the point of being a magic titan; it makes you stronger, and it makes the walls of reality less thick, less absolute."

That was why she didn't use it as often as she might otherwise do. She'd mastered keeping herself together while being a titan, but that didn't mean that it was a good idea to go around sucking in magic and being part of the world like that all the time. The temptations to rip through reality and turn it into something out of a dream were very strong, and there were very few people that could turn it back once she did it. Her brother was one of the only ones that could handle her when she was in that form, and he'd made it clear that he wasn't going to pick up all of her messes from now on.

Starting to see why he gets a little bit tetchy about that, she thought, looking at Gann. The green dragon looked, well, horrified at the news. She supposed that it was a bit out of the blue, considering that they hadn't talked about what he could do with that form yet, but she knew that it had to be brought up. He had to understand what he was getting into.

And more than that, she believed that he needed to learn this sort of magic. Once someone started on the path of bonding with magic, it was only a matter of time before they started trying to take it further. Eventually, Gann would have decided to try bonding with the magic all on his own, to open himself up to it and experiment with what that could do. If she hadn't been the one to guide him in doing it, then he likely would have started trying it out without any safeguards, and that? That would have gone very, very, very badly. Quite possibly, there wouldn't have been a Gann after that.

So, it was at least as much for her apprentice's safety as it was for everyone else that he learn how to use this magic properly. She patted her slaves again, getting them to get up and move. The foxes, mare, and orca moved to the far side of the room, pressing their hands and ankles against the wall as if they were chained to it, and Drakina looked Gann in the eye.

"Okay. What are you scared of?" she asked.

"Huh?"

"You're terrified. Of the magic, me, or something else?"

"Um...both?" Gann rubbed his arm. "I mean, you just told me that I could blow up everything up here."

"I told you that it would be that powerful back on the island."

"Yeah, but...but I didn't think it was that bad..."

"...I literally said you could create tidal waves and worse if you let it get out of control, and you thought I was exaggerating?"

"Most teachers do."

"Do I look like I have the energy to come up with exaggerated consequences for things?" she asked.

"..."

"Didn't think so."

She sighed, rubbing her head.

"Gann...I'm sorry if you're scared, but you had to learn this."

"Why? This is...this is terrifying levels of power. I could...I could rip apart bits and pieces of reality. I could really hurt someone with this."

"That's why it's important to know how it works. You were going to get here eventually, just from being able to do the other bits of magic. If you don't learn how to control it and channel it the right way, then you'll be a walking time bomb for everyone around you. If you want to be safe, it's important to learn this. Otherwise..."

She left it hanging, not to scare him, but to make it clear that this was important. He sighed, looking down.

"I really jumped into the deep end with this one," he muttered.

"Yes, yes, you did. But I did give you the push, so, I'm gonna have to give you water wings until you can swim."

"Can they be pink?"

"If you like."

Knowing that they had a lot of work ahead of them, Drakina pushed herself to her feet, stretching her arms over her head before bringing them back down again.

"Alright. Let's get back to practice. This time, I'm doing it with you. I put too much time and effort into fixing this place up for it to go boom on me."

"Boom?"

"Boom."

The next week was taken up with different practice sessions, and despite what Gann might have been feeling, most of them went pretty well. She was rather surprised at how quickly the green dragon picked up on the basics of manipulating and bonding with the magic in the air and in the earth. Then again, he had a pretty good motivation to get it right quickly; he wanted to keep everyone safe, and that meant knowing his stuff.

The only bad points where when he started to get scared, or when she started pushing him to try manipulating things rather than just being bonded with the magic. He started to freak out a little, get anxious when she told him to start tweaking reality with his power. Twice, she had to pull him back as something changed and he started freaking out, trying to change it back and making it go too far. That had been a bit...off-putting, but it wasn't as bad as it could have been, not by a long shot.

As the week came to a close, Gann flopped out on his bed, his head against a pillow, and she sat beside her apprentice, rubbing his back as he grumbled.

"What's the matter this time?" she asked.

"Don't wanna keep going."

"Why not?"

"Because it feels weird."

"Well, you don't have to do this magic forever. You just have to do it until you're not going to risk another mistake."

"Mmmph."

"Come on. You know there's a part of you that loves it."

"No. It's messed up. It's gonna hurt people."

"Only if you make a mistake, and a big one, at that."

"Hmmph. It still messes with things."

"And you don't like messing with things?"

He lifted his head from the pillow, fixing her with a small glare. She chuckled, patting his butt.

"You know you do. And besides, it's not a bad thing to give reality a flick on the nose every once in a while. It likes to take the depressive curve a little too often, and sometimes, we need to make it go the other direction."

"We can do that?"

"If we focus and pay attention, yes."

"Do you do that?"

"...Sometimes," she admitted. "Most of the time, I'm just fucking around."

She chuckled, getting to her feet and stretching her arms over her head. She arched her back a little, making her spine crack a few times as she got comfortable. One leg, then the other, her knees popping slightly.

"I'm going to sleep. You rest, and tomorrow, we'll talk about what you need to do next, okay?"

"Mmmph. Am I at least getting close to being able to stop with this?"

"You're getting...kind of close. I'd say about two-thirds of the way there."

He nodded, lowering his head back to the pillow. Drakina debated saying something else, offering some other form of encouragement, but she doubted that it would have gone over well. Gann seemed more like he wanted to just sleep it off, and she was willing enough to let him do that.

So, she left him to his room, walking through the wall as it disassembled and then reassembled behind her. The magic swelled around her as soon as she was out of the room, the pressure of it rubbing along her ass cheeks, and under her balls, along her pussy, and between her toes, along her breasts, and against her cock.

"Yes, yes, you want me to give you some attention, too." She chuckled. "You want to serve me again?"

The magic swelled, forming a tunnel around her cock. Not quite a hole, but enough to tease her shaft, to rub along a soft thing and make it get hard. Another chunk of magic semi-solidified between her legs, rubbing along her pussy and teasing it.

"Randy."

She smiled at the magic, allowing it to touch her, tease her, excite her as she walked through the mountain. It flowed around her like water, allowing her to go wherever she wanted. The dragoness made her way back to her chambers, but before she could sit down and enjoy herself, there was a little ring-ring of a spell alarm going off. She cocked her head to the side.

"What might that be..."

Waving her hand, she brought forth a portal of sorts, a viewing spell that allowed her to see what was going on and where the alarm was going off at. It was down at one of the lower entrances to her mountain, near the ringed city down at the bottom of it. Standing there, trying to enter her domain, was the King of the land that surrounded and included hers.

He was a stallion, this one. She remembered that she'd gone through a number of different bloodlines, passing the crown between them until she found one that had worked. The last one had been a mouse, and the one before that had been a raccoon. This one was a horse. She shook her head, opening the portal a bit further to allow the red-furred stallion to look at her properly.

He dropped to his knees as soon as she looked him in the eye, and he blushed.

"Duchess," he muttered, adjusting the crown on his head. "I apologize for visiting you without warning, but I ask permission to enter."

"You come without warning, indeed. And what is the reason for this sudden visit?"

"I have...favors...to ask."

"Favors. Of the intimate or the ruling sort?"

"Ruling, Duchess."

"...Fine."

Normally, she would have waved her hand and allowed him entry into the mountain, to allow him to walk through the stone stairs and the ever-changing maze of her home. Today, however, she didn't have the patience for the game, nor did she have the inclination to tease and torment this man. She flicked her hand at the portal, ripping the stallion through it and putting him in her bedchamber right then and there.

The king gasped as he was pulled in, panting softly. His royal purple cloak wrapped around his shoulders, and he wore fancy leathers, lightly browned, with thick boots along his feet. Drakina leaned back on one arm, the other laying across her lap. She crossed her legs slowly, her cock laying over one thigh, and her eyes fixed on him.

"You came to ask favors. What sort?" she asked.

"Several," he said, and she heard a difference in his voice. He was more confident this time. Her eyes narrowed as the stallion started to present his list.

"First, you will be paying more taxes out of Suresh from now on. You have been giving lip service to the crown ever since I was coronated, and it is clear that you have more money than you need. The rest of the kingdom could benefit from the wealth of your province, and you will be sending an additional 30% of your tax income to the crown, starting next month."

The stallion thought that he could just demand an additional third, did he? Well, that was certainly brazen. The fact that he had decided to come here himself was definitely a point in his favor when demanding something like that, but the fact that he had the bravery at all, the surety that it would be allowed, was something that surprised her.

"Second, you will present yourself at court and swear loyalty to the crown. You are the only member at court who has not, and it is unacceptable that someone of lower rank than the crown is not pledged to it."

"I don't pledge loyalty to the crown. Check your histories; I have always been outside of it."

"And yet, you're a noble. This...this cannot be permitted," he said.

A little crack in the armor of surety and - yes, he reached for a thing around his neck. She sighed. Someone had given him something that made the horse believe that he was immune to her magic, she imagined, something that made him believe that he could challenge her with impunity.

Drakina reached out with her magic, and as she did, she felt that there was something there. It wasn't just a fake amulet, as she had half-expected it to be. There was power to it, power that could repel some magic, at least. Even some of hers.

As he was starting to talk about how she needed to present herself as a concubine, as well - something about how all female nobles of the kingdom would now be required to show their loyalty to the crown - she waved her hand.

"Somon," she said, interrupting him.

"I'm not finished, Duchess."

"Oh, you think you're not, but you are."

"I am the king. And you will address me with the respect due to a monarch."

"...Cute."

She clenched her fist, and the crown, not under the same protections as the rest of the stallion, hopped right off his head. The dragoness held out her hand for it, allowing it to hover over her palm. The little circlet of gold with the spiraling bits of silver, forming dragon horns along the side, spun slowly over her fingers.

The stallion looked at her in shock, his eyes wide. She kept the crown spinning as she looked at him.

"Do you know how many kings have tried to change the rules since the founding of my little duchy?" she asked.

"..."

"The answer is six. I keep trying to pick kings that seem to understand how this will work out, but you keep disappointing me. I gave you a country, a country that is three times the size of the different nations that ruled here before. All you have to do is leave me alone. I don't give a flying fuck what you do with the rest of the country, as long as you leave me and Suresh alone. However...most of you don't seem to understand this particular rule."

"You can't hurt me. I'm protected," the stallion whispered.

"Oh, from normal magic, I'm sure."

Drakina slowly stood up, uncrossing her legs and letting everything show. She smiled as she walked toward him, slowly circling around the king. He shivered as she touched the back of his neck, pulling on the string that held the amulet against him.

"You have some little trinket, a gift, yes?"

"You know nothing. You can't harm me."

"Do you really want to see a monster?"

"You. Can't. Hurt. Me."

"Who are you trying to convince? Me, or you?"

The dragoness shook her head. This was going to be another one of those that just didn't want to learn a lesson. Every king worked out for a short time. This one had worked out for a decade or so, if she remembered correctly. He had been a decent ruler, if a little bit distracted by some of his pleasures.

But like so many of the others, he decided that he had figured out a weakness that all of them had missed. That he had figured out how to beat her and make her submit.

And he thinks that he could make a concubine of me. How cute.

"Tell me," she asked. "Did you tell my people about this plan of yours?"

"No. I believed it better to wait until you could tell them that you submitted."

"That explains how you got up here alive."

"The people are burdened under a sorceress like you. If you were leashed -"

"Oh, don't start down that road, little king. You know that it's not the truth." She chuckled, looking him straight in the eye. "You know that my people might be a bit dazed, a bit different form the average citizen of your kingdom, but you know who the happier ones are. Mine. Not yours. Mine."

"R-regardless..."

He took a step back, obviously trying to reach for something. Drakina shook her head, and merged with the magic.

What Gann had done, and what she'd shown him, were slow mergings, ways of pulling in the magic and making it part of you, sending your awareness through the magic and making yourself spread out through the world. This was something different.

Drakina surged into the magic, becoming magic, and disappeared. The stallion froze, as if she had disappeared.

Except she hadn't.

The air turned purple, and she chuckled, her voice echoing off all the walls. The dragoness filtered through it, her face becoming part of the stone, and then emerging from it. The stallion gasped, pulling back and holding tighter to his amulet.

"You think that little trinket is going to protect you?" she asked, her voice booming with the power of the earth. "Do you think that is worth anything against me?"

"You...you cannot..."

The dragoness was everywhere. No body, nothing to strike or hit, but with the power to strike as she wished, how she wished. She seized the strings of the amulet that the horse held, ripping it from his fingers. The two little gem eyes in the little dragon figurine were glowing brightly, burning like little fires.

She held the amulet in midair with her grip of pure magic, and she compressed. She squeezed. The figure slowly dented along the sides, and then disappeared, compressed out of reality, as if it had never been. The fragments started to fall, then disappeared as well, ripped through reality.

The king was afraid now, as he should have been from the start. Her face disappeared from the wall, and so did the light from the room. He could not see, but she could. Where magic was, she could see, feel, know everything that was around.

Drakina was more than a magic titan. She was something else. She was something that had no name, but it had power.

It had great power.

"King..."

Her voice rippled through the darkness, smooth and slippery as soft satin. The horse twisted and turned, and she heard his breath going shallow, speeding up in a desperate attempt to keep himself conscious. She spoke from one side, then the other, throwing her voice all over the place.

"You are nothing before me. You have the crown by my will. My good will. And you are rapidly losing that with your disrespect."

"You...you are no sorceress..."

"Heh, am I not?"

"Demon..."

"Hardly."

The darkness turned to water, water lit as if it went off into eternity. They were no longer in the mountain, or was it that the mountain was no longer a mountain? It was impossible for the king to tell, and it certainly wasn't easy for Drakina to tell. The water seemed to go on forever, and she lay back, no longer needing to breathe as the king suffocated beneath the drink. He clutched his throat, holding his breath as he stared at her in terror.

"A demon corrupts reality," she said. "A demon could not replace it."

Flicker. They were no longer drowning, but falling. Not teleportation, but a complete rewrite of the reality within her own bedroom. It expanded, it shrank, it became whatever she wished for it to be. Because as bonded as she was with the magic, it was not that she altered reality.

It was that her wishes were reality.

The king screamed all the way down, stopping only when she changed the reality again, making it into something else entirely. This time, they were floating, floating above the inside of a volcano. The smoke came up and burned the nose, and the stallion monarch screamed in utter terror.

Drakina, on the other hand, laid lazily in midair, projecting a vision of herself as she remained the embodiment of the reality within her room. She chuckled.

"Now, little king. You will be given one chance to maintain your throne. Apologize."

"I'm sorry!"

"What are you sorry for?"

"For thinking I could get rid of you! I'm sorry! I'm sorry!"

"Are you? Are you really?"

Drakina surged, and the lava rolled upwards. They did not go down, the lava came up, so close that the stallion's skin was on the verge of burning just for being so near to it.

"Apologize, little king," she whispered. "Apologize, and mean it..."

The king left shortly after, and she came back to herself. She watched him go, then slammed the portal shut and kicked the wall. She left a footprint-shaped hole in the rock, and she grumbled as she sat down again.

"I hate, I hate, I hate it when they make me do that."

Shaking her head, Drakina leaned back on the bed, glaring up at the ceiling. She knew that Draconicon would tell her that this was what happened when you had to deal with being someone's subordinate, but that was just bullshit. This wasn't what people did.

Then again, it was kinda what people with power did...

Grumbling, she rolled onto her stomach, crossing her arms under her head as she glared at the wall. She could feel her annoyance surging, but that wasn't anyone's fault but the king's, and he had already been punished.

Ugh...

And she still had to finish teaching Gann the sort of magic that he didn't like. That meant that he'd be a more unwilling student, wanting to avoid learning it, making her force him to figure it out, and -

"Goddammit. It was going so well and now...fuuuuuuuck."

Rolling over again, she kept chewing out more curse words as she leaned her head back on the pillow. She'd had a good thing going, and now she was just in a real fucking bad mood.

She was just about ready to call her slaves down when she had a little ping from the side. She glanced at the spell that was floating near her, saw that it was coming from her brother. She sighed, tapping it to activate it.

The portal image popped open, revealing the black dragon looking down at her. He didn't look at her breasts, this time, but rather right at her face.

"Bad day?" he asked.

"More like a bad fucking few hours," she muttered, rubbing her eyes. "Asshole king was by. Wanted to make me a part-time concubine."

"Surprised that you didn't turn him into one of yours."

"He's a crap person but a decent ruler. He's had his own mistake now, though."

"What happens if he makes another?"

"Then I'll just have to make another, won't I?" she said, rolling her eyes and looking through the portal at her brother. "Someone's gotta take care of everything."

"Why not you?"

"Ha! Yeah, right," she muttered.

"You're different than you used to be, sister," he said, leaning back on his side of the portal, resting against a wall. "You used to want to break everything. Now, you're actually trying to make things work."

"Yeah? Name one thing."

"Training Gann."

"...Okay, name two."

"Keeping an eye on who's good for the kingdom out there?"

"Okay, bastard, name a hundred."

"That's an escalation."

"Yeah, well." She picked up her pillow and dropped it on her face. "You're the one that loves a challenge. Get to naming."

"...Give me a minute."

Despite herself, Drakina smiled. There was something to this that made it all the nicer. Despite everything, she and her brother were getting along.
