The Champions of Mobius-Mavericks Lost Brother
Maverick Hedgehog; The prince of Mobius lived a carefree life with his family. His fater King Shadow and his mother Queen Sally ruled Mobius while caring for their son despite the war against the Eggman Empire as they went about their day with the daily council and war efforts.
One day Maverick was on a date with his girlfriend Blaze in the park enjoying the day as they sat by the pond watching the birds feed and the other famalies playing with their children. Never had a young couple been so happy with each other until an explosion was heard on the eastern side of the city.
Maverick: Eggman...Blaze stay here! *races off toward the destruction*
Blaze: Be careful!
Like his mother Maverick never hesitated to fight against the enemies of his kingdom as he caught view of the attacker he saw it was a hedgehog with a long samurai pony tail and a scar on his left eye with eyes red as the fires of hell. His eyes seemed distant as if he were in some kind of trance but that didn't stop Maverick from laying the first blow as he sent him crashing into the rubble below.
Maverick: There's more where that came from unless you leave right now!!!
Despite his attack the hedgehog emerged unharmed and completely unphased by the attack as he retaliated with a swift combo to Mavericks body before firing an energy blast that sent him crashing into a street light leaving him a little bruised and bloody.
Maverick: Grrrr! *wipes bloody lip* why you-HRAAAAH!!! *charges at his opponent*
Elsewhere in the city Sally and Shadow could see the battle on the news as they watched an area of the city being reduced to rubble by the two warriors with Maverick matching every move his opponent made. As the battle came to a halt the camera finally got view of the attacker and a look of shock overcame the queen and king.
Sally: Shadow.....
Shadow: It can't be....I have to get down there!! *takes off with a sonic boom*
Shadow raced out of the castle, toward the battle as another explosion rang out in the city with terrofied citizens running for their lives as Maverick deflected blast after blast before getting ambushed by another combo attack.
Maverick: Rrrr THAT'S IT!! HA!! *a strange red light begins to form* Chaos....BEAM!!!
Maverick had fired his most dangerous attack, at first he seemed confident but as the beam came within striking range it was easily deflected by one hand from his opponent; something that had never been done before. Just as when things looked grim Shadow ambushed the attacker from behind using his chaos blast knocking him out cold as the hedgehog fell to the ground like a rock.
Maverick: Alright *charges another chaos beam* lights out loser!
Shadow: No son! hold your attack.
Maverick: But dad! this is one of Eggmans creations!
Shadow: No....this is your older brother.
Shock came over Mavericks face. He always thought his brother was dead after all these years but after getting another look he saw they were much alike despite their different hair styles and fur color. Fang had dark fur and red patches like his father.
Hours later Fang awoke in a soft bed with a few bandages on his body, upon waking up he was greeted by a face he had not seen in many years as he looked at Sally who began to cry tears of joy.
Fang: M....mom???
Sally: Fang....my baby!! *hugs Fang sobbing greatly*
Fang had forgotten what it was like to be held by his mother after being Robotniks slave for so long. Memories of her holding him as a baby began to flow back into his mind and soon he too began to cry as he gripped her close feeling her gentle touch once again.
Sally: Shhh it's alright son.
Fang: Mother.....forgive me.....
Fang had felt so ashamed after what happened. He had nearly destroyed the city in which he was born along with the people in it, a crime like that would give a person the death penalty but because of her kind nature and understanding Sally could never bring herself to kill her own child.
Maverick on the other hand was not so happy on his brothers return as he peeked in seeing the person who nearly destroyed the city and besides that was his parents keeping it a secret from him meaning that they had a lot to answer for.
