Vex would stay over hours before returning home also watching Tsume with her training and also watched her take on Ryuichi for the final results and was actually impressed to see that she was able to beat him when she was able to pass the finish line she extended her wings that let off a shimmering light.
buccha told vex he was ready but vex told him that he wasn't ready and that he felt like he needed more training, buccha told vex that his training is complete and there's nothing for him to worry about all he has to do is believe in himself and go with the wind. so even though vex challenge Ryuichi to another battle,the battle was closed and vex did everything he could to try to cross the finish line but still wasn't fast enough and until ...he passed the line not seeing he has sprouted wing of a firebird
vex was surprised at first but a smile formed on his face as he felt the adrenaline rush through him once again through this race never in his life did he feel that need for speed to be with someone that was a fast opponent like tsume. vex understood what his brother was talking about he just knew that over time he's going to get better but as for now he just needs to take it easy and go with the wind just like he's been telling him all this time
"Hey, Tsume since I've beat Ryuichi's mind if we have a fun race?"
He asked her as she looks over at him with a smile
"of course but the loser will have to buy me food"
Tsume said as Ryuichi came over to the conversation and adding himself in the bet as well so it was Tsume, Ryuichi and vex line up together buccha counted them off and once he shouted Go the three of them zip off in a stream of red, purple and orange
