My eyes slowly opened and then closed again. I laid on my left side with one paw under my head. My nose twitched smelling the air. It smelled different, but it was an amazing aroma. My eyes opened again and shut, trying to wake up. My head pounded with pain from the night before.

I remember the race, the beach, the alcohol and dancing with Colton... Then nothing, I couldn't remember everything after that. I was with Colton, we went back home at four in the morning. I remember taking off my clothes, and Colton...

My eyes shot open. The smell in the air, it was Colton's scent. I was in his room, in his bed laying naked under the sheets. I turned onto my other side to look at the other side of the bed and I saw Colton laying there naked as well. He was laying on his left side.

What happened! Did Colt and I... Did I miss it? Not being able to remember, it was the worst thing ever, missing your first time. I looked at Colt as he slept, hoping to...

His eyes opened and he looked into my eyes and smiled. "Morning." He laid onto his back, stretched and yawned. "Last night was amazing." He turned and looked back at me and saw the confused look. "What's wrong, baby?"

He called me baby? So I guess he was comfortable dating a male and he really was my boyfriend. "Hey, Colt?" My eyebrows furrowed and moved closer together making my face look more confused. "What happened last night... after the race?"

He giggled and smiled. Thinking it was funny and that I was playing. When the look on my face didn't change his smiled disappeared. "You don't remember?" I shook my head. "Well, we went to the party on Venice Beach and danced. You slid your paw down my pants and told me that you wanted me."

"Yeah, I remember that, and getting back here. But what happened after that?"

"Well... You were having trouble walking. So I picked you up and carried you into my room and set you down on my bed. You stood up in protest and started to take off your clothes. You said, 'I want to suck you off.' I moved you back to the bed and waited for you to fall asleep, then I put the blankets over you."

"That doesn't explain why you're naked."

"I'm not." He removed the covers and he was wearing his boxers.

"OK, then. I have another question. Where you drunk too?" He shook his head. "You had to of been... you let me play with your sack."

"I don't drink, Socks. It just felt right to me, to let you play with me. Besides... it felt awesome." He smiled.

"So we didn't..."

"No, we didn't." I looked down to the end of the bed thinking. "What's wrong?"

I shook my head. "Nothing." I sat there thinking about something. I sat up and got out of the bed and looked around the floor to find my clothes.

"Where are you going?" Colt asked as I put on my boxers and then pants. He sounded upset, like he didn't want me to leave.

"I have to go." I grabbed my shirt and put it on. "I'm sorry, Colt."

I walked out into the hallway and downstairs. I opened the garage door, got into my car and started it. As I pulled out into the garage I caught a glimpse of Colton looking at me in the window upstairs.

I drove for about eight miles and then got onto the highway. I couldn't help but think about what was going through Colton's mind. He must of thought that I didn't like him. But I needed to go and do this. I drove for another fifteen minutes and pulled into my destination. I drove down small street, parked and walked across the grass.

I walked over to an area that was well shaded by a large oak tree. I looked down for a moment and then back up. I looked at the two tombstones placed in front of the tree. One read, 'IN LOVING MEMORY OF JASON SCOTT." and the other read, 'IN LOVING MEMORY OF LIZ SCOTT.' My parents.

I stood there looking at their graves. The wind blew my fur and ears, the leaves made a rustling sound. It had been exactly six months, since my parents had died. I took a step forward.

"I don't really know what to say." The wind continued to blow my closely trimmed fur. "I painted the car. I did the grid... just like you wanted." I put my paws in my pockets. "I just wanted to tell you two that I'm OK... Oh, I found someone." The wind stopped for a moment, like they were listening. "Colton. You knew I was gay, but Colt is too... and he is my boyfriend." I felt the sun beam down on me and the wind slowly picked back up. "I thought you two might approve." I started to tear up. "I miss you two so much... You always told me to be strong, and to push through the hardness in life. But it's just too damn hard." The wind picked back up and a cloud moved in front of the sun. "I just thought I would come by, and see you... I had better get going, Colt's probably wondering where I am." Before I walked away I felt a paw on my shoulder. I turned around and saw Colton standing there.

"I thought you might be here."

"Yeah." I turned and and looked at him. I gave him a hug.

"Come on, Socks." I let go of him and looked at him in the eyes. I gave him a long kiss and felt the sun come out and shine on us. I let go of the kiss and he put his paws on my biceps. "Let's go get something to eat."

We walked out to our cars and drove out of the cemetery. We dove up to the nearest food place and got out. We sat down at a table outside and a female Lion walked over to us.

"Hi, what can I get you boys today?"

"I'll have a water." I looked up at her.

"Same, please."

"OK." She walked off and I looked over to Colton.

"Why did you follow me?"

"I wanted to make sure you were alright... I really do care about you, Joe." I started to get butterflies.

"I really care about you too, Colton. I have always had some feelings for you, but now..." I leaned in and put my paw on his. "...I think I love you." As soon as I said that Colton looked away and blushed. Did he love me too? "Colt?" I waited for him to look at me. "Do you love me too?"

His face blushed again. "I... I think I do. I mean I get butterflies every time I see you, now. I don't really want to do anything, unless I'm with you."

I smiled and then the waitress walked over to us. "So... Have we made a decision?" She placed our water in front of us.

"Yeah, I'll have a burger." Colton didn't even look away from me.

"I'll have a roast beef sandwich."

"OK." She walked away and I smiled at Colt.

"So, sexy... What do you want to do tonight?"

Colt didn't say anything, he just smiled.

Later that night we pulled up to a large building. There was no markings on the outside and no windows. I didn't even hear anything coming from inside. I looked around and I saw a ton of cars. Where ever we were, this place was defiantly popular.

We got out of the car and Colt looked over to me and Grabbed my left paw. "I thought this would be a great place to have a date." We walked paw and paw to the front door, the only door in the place.

When we walked inside the building I could hear a faint sound of music. Then we progressed further inside and walked through another door and onto a balcony. We put our paws on the railing to look at everything. We were standing on a balcony that stretched across the boarder of the second floor. The first floor was flooded with activity. In the middle of the room was a large stage with a DJ. The room was lit by black lights, and a few neon search lights. Along with the beats of music there was water based neon glow paint being splattered and shot through the air periodically, giving everyone different color spots of neon. This was a club... of sorts.

"Welcome to the underground." Colt said as we looked down at all of the activity.

"I heard of this place. I never thought it really existed." I smiled. "How did you know?"

"Well, I heard some of our friends at school talking about it. So I thought we should give it a shot."

We walked across the balcony and down the stairs to the bottom floor. The second I touched the bottom floor I felt the wet spray hit me in the face. Colton looked over at me and laughed. I saw a mirror against the wall and I saw blue, green and pink dots over my face and shirt.

Colt grabbed my right paw and lead me through the crowd. We managed to find a clearing and Colt turned and looked at me.

"So. How do you like it, so far"

"I'm just happy I'm with you." Our voices strained, trying to get louder for the music so we could hear each other.

The beats of the music splashed the water onto us more and more. Then the song, _ I Gotta Feeling _, by Black eyed peas came on. The whole place went into an uproar. I looked around and I saw some furs singing to the song and some dancing with their friends, and significant other. I looked back at Colton who was starting to sing the song too. I joined in too. Then when the chorus hit, everyone started to jump up and down including Colton and I. More and more water sprayed on everyone. We danced to the song, throwing our arms into the air along with the beat. Colton and I kept moving closer and closer together.

When the song ended the next song that came on was, _ Tik Tok _, by Kesha. I then started to move side to side. Colton and I got even closer and I put my paws on his side. I slid down his torso slowly and then came back up. I moved my head and Colton moved behind me. The front of his body formed to my back and we continued to dance. He placed his paws on my waist and we both moved side to side. More of the neon water shot through the air and the neon lights swept overhead. We continued like that for another minute and then I slid away. I put my paw on his cheek. I leaned in and lightly kissed him. I let go and we danced for another two hours.

When it was about one in the morning, I looked at both of us. We were covered, head to toe with the neon paint. I leaned in to Colt.

"I think we should head home and get out of these clothes... If your ready." I smiled, wondering if we would catch the hint.

"OK." He smiled back and we walked out of the club.
