This is the first of the three-part Halloween special. Happy half-o-ween...? or almost Halloween? I wasn't planning to uploading them on October 31st.

Also, who do you think murdered Mr. Boddy in this story, with what, and where? It is up to Keanu to find out before someone else will guess correctly.

Chapter 20: Halloween Night Part 1

At the Starlight Plaza on Sunday evening, Keanu the wolf put on his Halloween costume. He groomed his fur as his costume naturally demanded a more formal look to match with his outfit. The costume did not include a pair of fancy shoes, so he used his own black shoes from his old suit in his closet.

He looked at the mirror and he looked very regal; a white military-style jacket with attached golden epaulets on the shoulders, some blue slacks, a jacquard sash, a military belt, and a gold medal on his left chest.

He walked out of his bedroom and made for the living room where his father was preparing for the night shift; Halloween was one of the worst nights to be dealt with in the suburbs. Vandalism, loud house warmings with alcohol involved minors and many others.

This was also Keanu's first Halloween party he had ever been to. He stopped trick-or-treating since he was twelve and mostly hung out with Jack and Crystal for candies in the neighborhood back in Little Lake and later decided to give candy treats to trick-or-treaters at his old house. He had fun, and he was always worried that someone would egg or toilet-paper their old home, but that, gladly, never happened.

Keanu said to his father, showing him his costume, "What do you think, Dad?"

His father looked at his son's costume, he heartily chuckled. "You look outstanding, your royal highness."

Keanu blushed. "Not you, too."

"Your friends said the same thing to you?" he laughed. "It should be expected."

"I... guess so."

"So, tell me, where are you going to meet at your friends?"

"Hunter texted me that he'll be coming to pick me up here."

"Ah, sure, that's nice of him. So, what's there to offer at the party?"

"I guess music, food, and scary stuff and a haunted house made out of cardboard... Oh, and there's going to be a game contest and the winner will get two tickets to Sunshine Park at the Sun Drench Piers."

"That's nice, think you can win?"

Keanu shrugged. "I don't know, all I did was to write my name on a ballot at the cafeteria. They'll call the names in a roulette."

"Ah, I see." Kendall picked his cellphone on the table to take a picture of his son, but he heard the doorbell ringing. "Ah, he's here."

"I'll get it." Keanu made it to the main door, excited to see Hunter's costume. He never said what it was, and this was it.

He opened the door and met a tall, silver knight. The costume was not made of metal nor plastic, just foam paper for the full-body armor. The head helmet was shaped of a canine to fit his muzzle and included a pair of triangular ears that wouldn't fit him inside. His armored torso had a fierce but regal-looking blue wolf printed on the chest. He had a novelty sword on his left side with a sheath.

Keanu stood there and wondered who that guy in front of him was.

"Keanu, who is at the door?" Kendall said.

"Uh..."

The silver knight lifted the visor to reveal a pair of green eyes. "Keanu, it's me." He then lifted the whole helmet off to reveal his handsome wolf features. "What do you think?"

"Wow," Keanu softly said. He was impressed.

Kendall, in his police uniform, made to the door behind Keanu. "A knight?"

"Good evening, Officer Winters, I'm here to escort Prince Keanu to Rexville Castle," Hunter said.

Keanu burst out a laugh, covering his muzzle.

Kendall smiled and went on with his character. "Certainly, Sir Hunter, you are hereby to protect my son for the rest of the evening or if anything serious happens to him in your hands, I'll have your head."

Hunter sheepishly chuckled.

"Have fun you two." Kendall smiled. "But first, let me take a picture with the two of you."

"Sure," smiled Hunter. He held the helmet on his waist and stood like a knight next to Keanu. Keanu held both hands together on his lower front.

After a few shots, Kendall put his phone in his pocket. "You boys have fun; I have a busy Halloween night."

"Is it really that bad?" Hunter curiously asked.

"Not really, but knowing the nature of the holiday, I'll expect the usual kinds of stuff that happens at the suburbs like egging and throwing toilet papers at the houses and underaged alcohol parties. I'll expect that in the campus won't be dealing with anything like that tonight."

"It won't, the parties at the university are safer and alcohol-free. I'd been last year's Halloween party and it was a blast."

"Very well, so, are you going to drive or taking the train?"

"The train, sir, my brother took the car first."

"Dad, that's enough of questions," said Keanu, "we should go now. I'll be back at ten."

"Sure, have fun, son." Kendall smiled and quick-hugged him.

The knight and the prince boarded the street train to the university. While riding the train, some passengers were wearing their costumes for the evening. From scary demonic ghouls to comical cartoon characters and superheroes to supervillains. The mood was very exciting.

"So, what's your favorite thing about Halloween?" Hunter asked.

Keanu smiled, a little sheepish. "Ch-chocolate."

"Chocolate? I'm sure there will be a lot of candy at the party."

"Yeah, and I'm looking forward to it."

Hunter laughed.

The train arrived at their destination, letting the passengers step off the vehicle. The party was located outdoors near the cafeteria building where a large white tent was built during the weekend. Outside at the front, there were a lot of people wearing their costumes and cosplays, mingling, and chatting about excitingly. The sun had descended behind the ocean horizon and left a colorful twilight of purple in the sky.

"Hey, there's Xavier." Keanu pointed.

Keanu spotted the parrot's green tail; he was wearing something contrary to what he had said the other day.

The parrot-man turned around aimlessly, holding a pizza box in one hand, and wearing a pizza uniform with a made-up logo on his right chest and baseball hat. The other hand was holding a piece of paper close to his face with a questionable look.

"Xavier, how's it going?" said Hunter.

"Hey, Hunter, hey, Keanu, did you guys ordered a black widow pizza?" Xavier said.

Hunter was confused. Since when did Xavier had a part-time job as a pizza deliveryman? Wait... wasn't this Sergio's prank?

Keanu was puzzled about the weird name. "A black widow--AAAAHHHH!!!!"

The pizza box popped open and flew a large eight-legged widow with a grotesque monstrous head of eight beady eyes and sharp bloody fangs at the wolves halfway. Hunter was startled but Keanu's soul went to heaven. Xavier laughed at his achievement; he placed the dummy spider inside the box.

"What the heck, Xavier!?" Keanu wheezed.

"Hey, this was Sergio's idea to change roles, and besides, it's Halloween; a night to be shitting bricks."

"Where's the camera?" Hunter asked.

"On my head." Xavier pointed to the top of his black hat, there was a small camera installed.

"Nice, and how many people did you scared?"

"Six, so far, and now seven and eight."

"He-heh, I thought you swore that you will end Sergio pranking you, and now, you're doing it."

"Pfft, this is only for once, he's planning another prank tonight and he's using my last year costume for the prank."

"Huh, I wonder what he is up to?"

Xavier shrugged. "Beats me, but we'll soon find out on YouTube."

"Have you seen the others, Xavier?"

"They're inside the tent, the party will soon begin. I'll catch you guys later after I scared about maybe thirty as Sergio instructed."

"Cool, see you at the party."

"Likewise, you two."

Hunter and Keanu walked to the tent's entrance. There was a waiting line, Hunter and Keanu had their paid entry fee as the money was for a charity purpose and this was why many students joined and would participate in return a contest for two tickets to Sunshine Park.

Two staff members sat at the table, asking for names, tickets, and costumes they were wearing for identity. After that, the knight and the prince entered the Halloween party!

The decorations were downright spooky, the lighting was dimmed to show the glow-in-the-dark ghosts and other decors. Fake spiderwebs covered the ceiling with spiders and lighting equipment projecting eerie colors of violet, blue, green, and white.

They really nailed the place.

There was a buffet full of snacks, candies, and drinks. Keanu would look forward to trying everything on the menu regarding anything made with chocolate.

"Hey, guys, you made it!" It was Milagros' voice near the buffet table and made to the pair.

She was wearing an Egyptian pharaoh costume based on Cleopatra. A white dress with beaded, shimmery details on the shoulder collar piece and belt around the waist, a pair of wrist cuffs attached to a light blue transparent cape, and a crown headpiece. She recreated the iconic eyeshadows as the pharaohs did. She looked pretty tonight.

"Hi, Milagros, rocking on the Egyptian walk?" Hunter said.

Milagros made the lamest dance move that was based on the drawing walls from the ancient ruins, also known as the Egyptian Walk. She laughed.

She sighted at Hunter's and Keanu's costumes. "Wow, you guys look fine tonight.

"You look pretty, Milagros," Keanu said kindly. "The costume looks great."

"Thank you." She smiled. "And Hunter, are you like his bodyguard?"

Keanu smiled with hands behind his back, blushing. Hunter said, "His dad told me to keep an eye on him, even if he was playing."

"Oh~, what a gentleman."

"He did say that he would have Hunter's head if he failed his task," Keanu reminded.

"Oh, god!" Milagros laughed.

"Ah, have you seen Sergio?" Hunter asked.

"Oh, he's around here. He's wearing Xavier's last year costume." She looked around aimlessly but found the glowing skeleton talking with someone wearing a black astronaut costume from the online video game Among Us across the tent.

Then Natasha caught up with them, holding a cup of soda. She was wearing a worn-out wedding dress costume. Her black-furred face was filled with makeup and powder to look pale, ghostly, and dead as a zombie. "Hey, guys~!"

"There you are, where have you been?" Milagros said.

Natasha explained, "Prof. Oswaldo from theater class came to talk to me about one of my fellow classmates who looked very upset during one of our rehearsals last Friday. I partially told him what really happened without mentioning that I was involved in it."

Hunter made an uncomfortable face behind his helmet, scratching the back of his head.

Natasha had told Milagros about Sol's prank last Wednesday, excluding Hunter's embarrassing outcome.

"Did you tell him that you were told that friend of a friend and another friend told you about it and then told Prof. Oswaldo what you knew?" Milagros continued.

"Oh, yeah, I really did not want to... you know, get into trouble."

Milagros huffed quietly. "I'm just glad that no one got hurt."

"Only feelings, though. That's what Robin is right now, and I'm trying to make up with him since he's in my theater class and he's really a talented guy."

Keanu leaned to Hunter. "What are they talking about, and what happened to Robin last Wednesday?"

"It's... really complicated," Hunter replied. "You said he's in your English class, right?"

Keanu nodded.

"So, anyway," Milagros changed the topic. "Did you guys bump into Xavier outside?"

"Oh, yeah, we bumped into him, alright," Hunter said.

"Uh, no, I haven't seen him," Natasha said otherwise.

"You haven't?" said Milagros, a little puzzled.

The three mentally decided not to say a word and let Natasha find out by herself.

The dead bride waved it off. "Never mind, I'll check on him later. He's wearing his skeleton costume, right?"

"Uh, he's now a pizza delivery guy now."

"...What a boring costume, no offense. I'll be around, Milagros, I'm going to meet Josephine by the entrance."

"Sure, I'll see you later."

Natasha let the three and walked back to the entrance of the tent.

"So, did you guys sign up for the competition?"

Keanu nodded excitedly. "I did, and I had to play Clue online yesterday all day, so I can get a grip on the game if I want to win."

"You been playing Clue a lot?" Hunter said. "Now I'm having a lot of competition."

"The game has a lot of strategies, you know. You have to keep track of every accusation every player makes and take notes to narrow down who is the killer."

"Hm, maybe you should have dressed as Sherlock this year, Prince Keanu," said a voice from behind.

Keanu was turned around suddenly and lifted, resting his stomach on someone's right shoulder, he yelped.

Hunter saw a leopard wearing a blue ninja-like costume, holding Keanu like a log of a cut tree.

"Come and catch me, Sir Hunter, if you want your prince charming back~!"

"Hey! Put me down!" Keanu cried and punched Sol's back with his fist and legs flailing.

Sol felt nothing but a massage from his fists and ran away from Hunter around the tent. "Come and save your prince, Sir Hunter~!"

Hunter and Milagros stood there a little stunned, and so as Broderick, wearing his Scorpion costume from Mortal Kombat like Sol's blue counterpart of Sub-Zero.

The leopard ran around the inside of the tent and Hunter finally took action to save his Prince. He knew Sol was teasing, so he had to play along with his harmless play.

Hunter ran after Sol. The dressed students curiously looked at the odd sight, a knight running after a ninja holding a prince in distress. If Hunter were wearing a real armor suit, everyone would hear it rattling out loud clearly.

Sol stopped at one corner near the chocolate fountain and turned around grinning behind the blue mask. Keanu's white fluffy tail found its way to slap on Sol's face but did very little as the mask protected him.

Hunter caught on, meeting with Sub-Zero, and pulled out his sword and aimed it at Sol's face. Hunter spoke with a serious tone in a heroic knight talk. "You shall free the Prince of Rexville or I'll give you the wrath of Excalibur!"

"Put me down!" Keanu yelled, slapping again with his tail on Sol's face.

"Alright! Alright!" Sol complied and shifted Keanu into a bride-style position.

"Sol, what are you doing?" Hunter broke his character.

"Think fast!" He launched Keanu from his arms to Hunter.

Keanu screamed in mid-air, Hunter quickly dropped his sword and caught Keanu with his arms, almost losing his balance by the sudden weight.

Milagros and Broderick ran to the three.

Hunter gently lowered Keanu to his feet. He rubbed his lower stomach where the shoulder pressed him. "What was that?" Keanu frowned annoyingly.

Sol placed his hands on his waist with a smug behind his mask and said, "Just having fun, it's Halloween after all."

"You could have hurt him, you know?" Milagros seriously said.

"I know, but Hunter would never let his little prince get hurt."

"Sol, don't go too far with your little antics, okay? You already have gone too far with that raccoon," said Hunter.

"Again? Pfft."

"Come on, guys, let's not ruin the mood," said Broderick who was really excited to show off his costume tonight.

"As long he doesn't kidnap me," Keanu grumbled and made for the chocolate fountain with cubed fruits with toothpicks on display.

"Hello, guys, Happy Halloween!" Xerxes' voice boomed in the presence.

"Hey, Xers, are you gonna put my..." Sol trailed off as he gazed at Xerxes' fireman costume.

It was a generic one, the pink dragon looked bulkier than he really was with the large beige coat and trousers. The red helmet had a sticker for the fire emblem badge (which was made up from looking like the real Rexville City Fire Department emblem) and said Fire Chief on it. The costume didn't include a pair of boots, so Xerxes had to buy a pair to fit his large feet. He looked like a genuine firefighter that he would be mistaken as one.

"I'm gonna put your what?" Xerxes was perplexed at Sol's reaction.

"His fire." Milagros filled.

"Ah, okay?" He pulled out a small, novelty fire extinguisher and sprayed some water at Sol, which he flinched.

"Hey, not literally!" he yelled, shaking off the drips of water.

"He meant the innuendo, Xerxes," Milagros added. "Also, he expected that you'll be wearing something skimpy with that fireman costume."

"What? That's gay, man."

"Only in my dreams~!" Sol smiled.

"So, what was your original costume?" Hunter asked.

"I was going for Thor, but now I know who got the last costume." Xerxes looked at the south end of the tent and saw one of his teammates, a bull-man, dressed as Thor.

The party went on smoothly, Sergio joined up with the group and later Xavier after scaring about thirty people tonight as requested. Now everyone had an equal fun time. Remixed pop music with horror and spooky elements were blared from the amplifiers as the partygoers danced in the middle of the tent.

Keanu walked around through the buffet of great varieties of sweets, snacks, and drinks. It was all delicious which Hunter realized he must have a sweet tooth. The majority was chocolate and tried all types of fun-sized brands. Hunter kept to himself from consuming much but knew this was a special occasion.

"Hunter, did you try the one with marshmallow filling?" Keanu said, holding a fun-sized chocolate bar to him.

"Yeah, I've had one, it's very good..." Hunter thought and saw if he could make a move on him now that the others went into the dance floor and Keanu seemed easily distracted by the endless amounts of sweets explicitly displayed in front of the young wolf.

It wouldn't hurt to try. "Would... would you like to dance?"

He heard it clearly and stopped munching a white chocolate bar with nougat and caramel. He blushed. He spoke with a mouthful of chocolate, "D-danch?"

"Yeah, would you like to?"

Keanu shyly looked at the dancing crowd, he swallowed his bit of chewed chocolate bar. "I don't know, Hunter, I don't like dancing."

"You don't have to know how to dance," he shrugged and assured him, "just have fun. There are a lot of people, and nobody is going to look at you."

Keanu carefully thought, he was still unsure. He looked at Hunter, completely armored and still wearing the helmet with the visor opened, showing his green eyes. Keanu felt like he was exempting this altogether like there weren't any issues about dancing in public, or maybe because it was Hunter who was offering him as his dance buddy.

He took a breath and nodded. "Okay, just... just a little."

Behind the helmet, Hunter smiled, his eyes gleaming. "Sure, and I'll keep you close to me, alright?" He extended a hand to grab his.

"Sure." Keanu shakenly held his hand and the two made for the dancing crowd.

It was not that bad as Keanu thought, no one was looking, but Keanu was a solid piece of ice that was hard to shatter as he danced stiffly like a statue. The music was good but could not make up a good rhythm with his weak dance moves. Hunter, on the other hand, had already let himself loose which made Keanu laugh and it was working. An armored knight dancing on a Halloween night was beyond out of place from the time period, but that did not matter. It was funny seeing him moving like that. Keanu let loose a little and improved his awkward moves and smiled.

Not too long as he was having fun, Hunter was already getting... tired? He bent forward and supported himself on the knees. Keanu somehow knew he could not easily get tired like that. He always worked out and carried a fairly amount of energy, enough for the whole evening. Unless...

"Hunter, are you alright?" Keanu moved closer.

Hunter took off his helmet, his brown and white fur was soaked in sweat, and breathed some fresh air. "Hah, I'm alright, I don't know what I was thinking. This costume is a little thick."

"You danced too hard, didn't you?"

Hunter sheepishly smiled. "I think I partied too hard. Come on, I need some water."

It was the funniest ten minutes of dance Keanu had ever enjoyed. The two left the crowd and looked for some refreshments, and there was a large beach cooler with cooled drinks and bottled water from vending machines. Hunter was very thirsty; he underestimated the costume's materials. He drank almost the whole bottle and let out a freshening sigh.

A human student dressed as a Pokémon Trainer stepped in the middle of the dancing crowd with a spotlight shining on her, and holding a microphone, she was hosting tonight's events.

"Ladies and gentlemen, Happy Halloween!" said the host. "I'm Josephine, your host this evening."

The partygoers cheered.

"Did you catch 'em all, yet?" shouted Broderick.

"No, but you'll be a good catch in my collection," said Josephine, holding a plastic pokéball.

Laughter roared inside the tent. Broderick flushed behind his mask.

"Okay," continued Josephine, "we're gonna start a quick shout out to all of you as we thank you for all support for making this Halloween party possible as the money that we have collected will be donated to Rexville Children's Research Hospital and graduation funds for the future graduates this year. Thank you." The crowd applauded.

"So, without further ado," continued the hostess, "tonight's segment is to show off your Halloween costume! I'm sure all of you have something to impress and entertain us all. Starting me first!" She threw the plastic pokéball and a smoke ball came out and burst white smoke all over near her and shouted, "Snorlax, go!"

And came a heavy fellow dressed as said Pokémon and jumped out through the smoke and made a sound combination of snoring and roaring before slumping down on his back, lying down lazily on the floor. The crowd around laughed.

"Alright, who's next to show off your costume?" said Josephine.

A group of Star Wars fans were dressed in their favorite characters and fought together with their colorful lightsabers of green, blue, yellow, and red. The DJ player helped with the sounds effects to enhance the experience of an actual lightsaber striking on one another and the woosh sounds by the swinging movements.

Next was a couple dressed as Jack and Rose from the movie Titanic. A piece of cardboard in the shape of a triangle as the ship's bow painted in red, black, yellow, and white with the name of the titular film on it, it was strapped on the guy's shoulders to hold it together and the pair t-posed together as if flying. They ran around in circles and shouting, "I'm King of the World!" and "I'm flying, Jack!" while Celine Dion's iconic song was playing in the background.

"Now, all we need is an iceberg, right?" said Josephine. The crowd laughed.

It was now Broderick's and Sol's turn to show off with their costumes. They stood in the empty spot in the middle, facing each other before the DJ added the sound effects from the video game.

Scorpion and Sub-Zero stood in combat position, ready to fight. "ROUND ONE... FIGHT!"

Keanu, Hunter, and others watched the two fake-fighting. They had practiced before they could have harmed themselves. They just watched a bunch of videos online and mimic the movements of martial arts and learned how not to hit each other physically.

Sol and Broderick even made slow-motion movements for close calls and resumed in normal motion for some fast kicks and strikes. Sol made a fake punch on Scorpion's gut and fell back on the ground and that was when he looked across his sight... a red Scorpion?

The crowd cheered and wowed at the unexpected, some maned wolf was dressed as the legendary Ermac and quietly stepped into the ring ominously out of the crowd. Broderick stood up quickly and sighted at the dude in red. He leaned on Sol whispered, "Do you know this guy?"

Sol shrugged and whispered back, "I don't know but he wants to join us in a three-way~."

"Dude, really?"

"Just roll with it."

The three stood in combat position and the DJ resumed, "ROUND TWO... FIGHT!"

Ermac made the bold move and dashed for Scorpion, the reindeer made a series of air punches with his fists, Ermac swiftly dodged them left and right, and grabbed him his left stretched arm in seconds, and flung him over his head. Broderick landed on his back with boggled eyes.

Ermac menacingly turned to Sub-Zero. Sol was questioning if this guy was really up for a semi-real fight. Behind his opponent, he saw Broderick stepping off and sinking with the circling crowd, yeah, he had nope the hell out. So, it was now him and the red stranger in front of him, winking at him. Sol raised an eyebrow confusedly, but the show must go on.

Ermac dashed forward and swung one leg around in circles, they deliberately turned into slow motion, Sol bending backward. Just right there, Sol quickly grabbed his right leg and swung his left leg at the other leg on the ground and Ermac fell on the ground on his back. Sol quickly placed his hand on his neck and the other into a fist, aiming at his face.

The show ended with the DJ saying, "SUB-ZERO WINS!"

"Alright," said Josephine, "that's enough for a showdown! Give it up for the Sub-Zero, Scorpion, and Ermac."

The crowd cheered and applauded. Sol stood up and offered his hand. The maned wolf grabbed it and stood up swiftly.

"Thanks," he said. His voice was lively. "That was cool!"

"Dude, what the hell? You scared the shit out of my friend, here."

"Sorry, I couldn't resist." He rubbed the back of his head. The two walked into the crowd with Broderick. "I never thought someone else would dress as Sub-Zero and Scorpion. You're Solomon, right? From the soccer team? I'm Topher." He offered his hand.

"Yeah, I am--wait you're Topher Silveira from the baseball team?"

He pulled off his mask to reveal his canine's foxlike features. He was tall as Sol's height and a bit less on body mass but very athletic.

"Yes, didn't think you'd recognize me." He smiled. "Hey, mind if I tag along?"

Sol shrugged with no problems. "Sure, I don't see why. As long you don't scare Broderick again."

Topher laughed. "I won't, sorry if I was hard on you, Broderick."

Broderick was a bit quiet but shook off his thoughts about the maned wolf. "Ah, no worries."

Hunter and Keanu saw the small exchanging conversation between Sol and Topher. Hunter leaned to Keanu and whispered. "I think they'll gonna get along tonight."

"What do you mean?" Keanu said.

"You know, getting lucky tonight."

"Uh, you mean, like, having fun on the bed?"

Hunter laughed. "Yeah, that's it, you're getting it."

Keanu blushed a little at his natural assumption. The show-and-tell costume session ended, and Josephine continued the next activity.

"Wow, so many costumes to see, huh? Now then, there is a ballot box by the entrance, and feel free to vote for your favorite best costume as many and the winner will get a free video game gift-card of fifty-bucks."

Now everyone seemed interested and formed a line in front of the ballot box while a student was keeping an eye from any suspecting cheaters.

Back at the center, Josephine was standing next to a transparent box attached on two hinges and a crank that would spin the box. It was full of papers with names written on them.

"On tonight's next activity, we will be playing a game of Clue! The winner will win two tickets to Sunshine Park at Sun Drench Piers and I'm gonna pick six players to participate by using this roulette spinner thingy and I'll call your names and come forward." She spun the crank and the box rolled, cards inside mixed and flipped for good measure.

She stopped and opened a small lid and dug her hand inside and pulled out a card and read. "Our first player is... Minnie Vega!"

A horse-girl in a witch costume shrieked and ran to the center excitingly.

Josephine pulled out the next contestant. "The second player is... Valerie Thompson!"

A skunk-girl in a karate costume walked into the center next to Minnie, smiling excitingly.

Josephine pulled the next card. "Our third player is... Shawn Wilkerson!"

"Holy shit! Woohoo!" said the named contestant, an orange dragon wearing nothing but normal clothes and a green diamond hovering over his head, he smiled enthusiastically and made to the other players.

"Our fourth player..." she dug inside the box and pulled out a card and read, "...Keanu Winters!"

Keanu jumped and gasped, how close he would actually win those tickets?

Hunter patted him on the shoulder, he was petrified. "Come on, go."

Keanu shyly smiled and waved at the smiling hostess and walked next to the other excited players. He was making a silly face from being nervous in front of the crowd.

"Our fifth contestant is... Gabriela Walters!" continued Josephine.

A human girl in an angel costume shouted in victory and ran to the center next to Keanu.

"And finally, our last sixth player is..." she picked the last card through the bundles and read, "...Terrence Browne!"

Keanu's heart skipped a beat. Across was Hunter with a perplexed look on his face about the named contestant but he shrugged.

A green Power Ranger walked into the center next to the angel-dressed player. He wasn't wearing a helmet and Keanu could see the ferret's serious features of brown and white fur. He glanced at the wolf and quickly looked away.

"Alright! Our six detectives here are gonna find out who murdered Mr. Boddy, and we have our six suspects here who will tell us about their accounts on the night when Mr. Boddy was murdered at the Tuder Mansion." Cued the jazzy mid-tempo music. "Let's give it up for Miss Scarlett!"

A ferret-girl wearing a beautiful red evening-gown walked in a sexy manner into the middle clearing where a beaming spotlight shone. She received a lot of howls and whistles before she maliciously smirked and pulled out a rope behind her and pulled both ends tightly.

"Oh-ho!" cried Broderick. "She could tie me up anytime~."

Xavier sarcastically said, "Or being hung up from the ceiling."

"Dude, do you have to be so dark?"

"It doesn't help the fact that this is a murder mystery game."

Josephine continued, "...Colonel Mustard!"

One of the professors, the elephant-man, was dressed in a hunting safari costume in yellow. He stepped under the spotlight with a calmed, composure, military pose with hands behind his back and pulled out a toy revolver, aiming at nowhere to the crowd, and pressed the trigger.

BANG!!!

The crowd cheered and applauded.

"...Mrs. White!"

Then came a servant maid, it was Professor Zamora of Keanu's Art class. She fitted the role very well and showed wiping a candlestick before she swung it in the air like a baseball bat.

"...Mr. Green!"

After Mrs. White left the spotlight, a human student in a green suit stepped under the beaming light and pulled out a wrench from his jacket, and place one finger on his lips for silence to the crowd before walking away.

"...Mrs. Peacock!"

A well-dressed cat-girl in a blue roaring twenties style attire with peacock feathers walked into the spotlight and showed her lead pipe, well... a piece of empty paper towel roll painted in gray for the effect as the lead was rather poisonous to be holding it around in public. She held it in one hand and hitting on her opened palm.

"...and Prof. Plum!"

It was Professor Sheehan from Keanu's and Hunter's history of California class. Dressed in a purple suit and pulled out a dagger from his jacket, exanimating the novelty weapon's sharpness.

Then all six suspects gathered around together with their weapons in their hands and the music ended. The crowd applauded and cheered. The game had just begun.
