A Whole New Party

Part 11

for Engy

by Draconicon

Kyo'Thar knew that the dragon was messing with them, but unlike Viola's fury and Olfel's quiet confidence in beating the dragon regardless, he felt...different. He felt, for some reason, unsatisfied, and just a little but humiliated, and he wasn't entirely sure why.

The orc shook his head as he stepped through his door, standing at the beginning of his path. He looked ahead, casting a spell of True Sight on himself to ensure that he wasn't going to get caught off-guard by anything invisible in the seemingly empty chamber. The mirrored walls and floor reflected images of himself back at him, and he immediately grasped the concept that this was meant to be a journey through magic and traps, through illusions and deception, through spells that would test him in greater ways than he had known before.

But for now, at least, he was alone, unthreatened, and most of all, unbothered. The orc closed his eyes, taking a deep breath as his rooster cooed by his ear.

"Not now, Croon."

Idly petting the small bird, he leaned back against the wall. He had been almost compelled by his new attire, a robe that came barely halfway down his thighs, and one that felt like it was constantly squeezing around his hips and rump. He had enjoyed it, at first, but now that he was alone, now that he had time to look at himself, he started to wonder why.

I wasn't like this before. I wasn't...a pervert, the orc thought, looking at the mirrored wall to his left. Why...why does THAT feel so appealing now?

The five days waiting for the dungeon to be open to them had been something akin to torture for the wizard. He normally would have found the quiet a good time for study, for contemplation, and for testing, if they had been able to find anyone to test his new spells on. Instead, he found himself antsy, hungry for something. For some of the rimming that he had gotten back at town, he'd thought at first, but the longer that their isolation had gone on - and combined with the bits of 'testing' that he had done with his fingers back there - the more he realized that it was something else that he needed.

Attention, he thought, sighing. I need attention.

And that was the thing that he had been getting in town. It was what he had guaranteed himself with the wand of charm, and what he had been about to get with the dragon before he revealed his real form.

That had been an eye-opener, and no mistake. The orc remembered seeing what the dragon had to offer at that point, and what sort of reaction he had prompted from the other male by shaking his ass back and forth. Knowing that his body could have that effect on something that was so much more powerful than him, something older and mightier, was something flattering in its own way. But there was something more to it, something he still didn't entirely know how to deal with.

It had left him feeling...empty, he supposed, without someone to want him. He'd found out how it felt to have someone that hungry for him, to have someone so willing to want him, someone that looked at him like that. Was that how love felt, he started to wonder? Was that why they were a bunch of fools?

Kyo'Thar shook his head. If it was, then he was falling victim to the same thing. He tossed his staff to his other hand as he stood up straight again, adjusting his robes until he was more comfortable with himself.

"Come, Croon."

"Ca-ca!"

"That's right. We will see this through to the end."

The rounded room was mirrored, but long. As he walked across the mirrored floor, he found himself seeing himself from all angles. The more that he looked, the more that he realized that he preferred the view from the side, or even from behind. When he looked over his shoulder at the door, he could see hints of his own ass from beneath the robe as it fluttered from his movements. When he looked down, he could see his swaying balls, and his own rump, and he imagined how others would have felt looking up at him like that.

They'd enjoy it.

Kyo'Thar came to a screeching halt in the middle of the room, gripping his staff tightly as he looked from left to right. He spun in place at the dragon's voice.

"Where are you?"

Far from you. Deep in the core of the dungeon.

"How are you talking in my head? What spell are you using?"

Dragon magic. It is a spell that you don't know.

"What do you want?"

Honestly? For you to be happy.

The orc snorted, shaking his head. That was a lie. The good dragons had always been the sort to smother those that had any sort of objection to the status quo. He imagined that most platinum dragons would have been happier to see him pushed back into the brutish orc society, to have his staff broken, to see him become a sub-par warrior and be miserable about it, so long as he fit the role that he was assigned. Shaking his head, he gripped his staff all the tighter, almost as if he was afraid of it being taken from him right then and there.

Let the dragon try. He wouldn't let it happen.

"So, you think that I would be happier as one of your Claimed?" Kyo'Thar asked, looking around, shaking his head at the various mirror images of himself he could see. "I think that you are deluding yourself."

Well, one of us is.

"You think that I need someone over me?"

I think that you want someone that cares about you. That wants you.

"...Get out of my head."

If you wish. I will be talking more later, however. Think about it. Think about what you saw when you tried to use the wand on me, and tell me if that doesn't appeal.

The voice went silent, but whether the spell was gone or not, he didn't know. His True Sight spell didn't show him anything, but then again, he hadn't felt any magic before it started, either. Shaking his head, he turned to the exit.

Even as he approached it, though, he took a moment to think about what the dragon had said. What did he mean, back when he tried to use the wand? It hadn't worked, had it? There was nothing that he had gained from that, nothing that could have changed his mind.

Except...

Except the dragon had maintained his want and need despite not being controlled. Despite the fact that the orc's wand hadn't had the power to take the dragon's will from him and make the beast want him, the dragon had still had that erection, that throbbing, honest-body reaction to him. It didn't matter that he wasn't the beefcake that other orcs were. All that mattered was that he was himself.

He stopped with his hand on the next door, and he leaned forward, banging his forehead against it.

"Gods dammit..."

"Ca-ca?"

"Not you, Croon."

Patting the rooster on the head with one finger, the orc sighed. Apparently, things were going to be quite a bit more complicated than he thought if he was already dealing with all this. The dragon had played the game well; if he was already this confused and conflicted, he could only imagine what was coming next. Shaking his head, he reached for the knob again and pushed the door open.

Expecting a big room of puzzle pieces or a room filled with monsters, he was surprised to find himself in a room filled with cushions and the air filled with incense. He paused in the doorway, looking behind him. The mirrored room was still there, and he was not in a portal, either, so something had obviously been done to make sure that they were taken to a different room than any dungeon he'd seen before. When things got twisted around like this, Kyo'Thar never felt good about it.

Shaking his head, he cradled Croon against his shoulder, the bird cooing softly as they stepped in together. He kept his staff low, his fingers tight around it as he kept his eyes peeled for anything that might have been a threat.

He was halfway between the door and the middle of the room with its giant pile of cushions when some of them flew into the air. He reacted instantly, stabbing his staff forward and firing a bolt of force from the tip. The pillows exploded into feathers, and the kobolds that had been throwing them froze in place, their arms extended upwards and their mouths frozen in a cheer that would never quite come loose.

Kyo'Thar stared at the little reptiles for a moment, gradually bringing his staff back, and the kobolds slowly stepped out from the cushions. The one that seemed to be in charge - a silver kobold, rather than the green and blue ones all around him - bowed his head a few times.

"Sorry-sorry. Didn't mean scare. Just wanted to surprise."

"You don't surprise a wizard."

"Will remember, will remember."

"What is this?"

"Is party, celebration."

"...For what?"

"For you!" the kobold said, grinning. "Dragon said, make party. Make big-green feel good. Remind him that he pretty."

"...Pretty?" Kyo'Thar arched an eyebrow. "Did he actually use that word? Pretty?"

"Uh...no. Used other word, not sure."

"Say it."

"Uh, you know Draconic?"

"Some."

"Uh...um...lemme get right..."

The kobold started the word three times before getting it right. It came out as a low growl, something that rose up as a sudden grunt, before coming back down again. As the silver lizard smiled, all proud of itself, Kyo'Thar blinked as he realized what it was.

Dragon language was something...different, for sure. It was able to encompass a great deal of conceptual area in a single word, but it also meant that the language depended entirely on context. A word could mean fire, lightning, storm, or destruction all at once, but it could also mean life, warmth, excitement, new things. It was all dependent on what else was in the sentence with that word. It was why the language was such a bitch to learn, and why there had to be imagination as well as intelligence put towards speaking it if you weren't born with it.

That particular word had multiple meanings, too, but it was very sensual, something that was usually used as a descriptor during sex. A very flattering descriptor, too, and never towards someone that was on the top. That was always for someone that was on the bottom.

He felt his cheeks burn slightly, particularly the lower cheeks that were clenching rather tight at the idea of a dragon dick between them. Kyo'Thar knew that the changes had come from his wand, but they weren't...bad changes. He reached back slowly with one hand, groping his ass beneath the robe -

"Hey-hey, greenskin have beautiful butt."

One of the kobolds squeezed his ass, but before Kyo'Thar could react with a spell, the kobold had already shoved its face between his ass cheeks and -

"MMMPH!"

He stumbled forward, leaning on his staff as he huffed and puffed from the feeling of a tongue flicking out over his pucker. He hadn't even asked for this, but the teasing licking was something that he was more than willing to accept. His cock started rising up, even as the other kobolds came running to him. The fear that he would have had, normally, was assuaged as they slowly led him forward, taking him by the hand and bringing him towards the cushions in the middle of the room.

"Mmmph...what is - nng - what is this about?" he muttered, trying to speak through the rimming going on.

"Making happy! This makes happy, yeah?"

"Makes...something..."

"Come, come, get comfy. Wanna see all!"

"All?"

"Everything!"

The kobolds all but threw him into the pillows, sending Croon flying through the air, squawking as indignantly as a rooster could manage. By the time that he managed to surface again, his robe had gone missing. He caught the rooster on the way down, but by the time that he had managed to direct his attention back to the kobolds, they were already hard at work getting at him and his body.

He blushed as they pulled the cushions out of the way, letting one of their number swim through the pile under him and get back to work at his asshole, but the others had already spread his legs gently, rubbing their little scaly fingers against his legs, against his feet, against his shoulders. They were massaging him from head to toe, digging their fingers in and grinning happily at him all the while.

"Look that dick?"

"Dick? Body. Soft and cute-squishy."

"Nah, balls. Baaaaaaalls."

"Butt is best!"

"Butt is best!" the kobolds called out together, only to lean in and laugh. "But all pretty."

They were fawning over him. Completely, totally fawning over him in a way that nothing had ever done without being completely subsumed in Charm magic. They were everywhere, touching, stroking, guiding him down a path of utter indulgence that he didn't understand, nor did he entirely know what to do with it. All he knew was that they were treating him better than his own party members ever had.

He groaned under his breath as he had the combined sensations of a full-body massage, rimming, and two kobolds working his big green balls up and down. They rolled them around, teasing them, guiding his cock upwards and harder. It took very little time for him to be fully erect, his dick dribbling over his belly.

What kind of dungeon is this? he wondered.

A dungeon where you are given something to make you happy, the dragon responded.

Kyo'Thar groaned. So much for being alone with the kobolds. This had to be some sort of trap, something that was meant to bring his guard down and allow the dragon to do more of what he wanted rather than what the orc wanted to do for himself. He should get up. He should make his way out of the room while he still had some sense of convictions.

Yet, at the same time, his staff was right there. He could grab it and counter the magics of the room if he really wanted, and do the same with the kobolds and the dragon's voice. Forcing himself to relax, he slumped a bit further down on the cushions, giving himself the time to just be.

"Big-green like kobold touch?" the silver one asked.

"It's...nice," he managed to mutter.

"What make better?"

"It's fine."

"But dragon-master says make good. What makes better?" the silver asked.

He honestly wasn't sure. He was getting his body worshiped from head to toe, including some of the kobolds actually leaning in and ooh-ing at his tusks, fascinated with them in a way that could have been insulting but ended up being kind of cute. He didn't know what to make of them, didn't know how they were doing this without him getting so angry at them.

Instead of being furious, he felt...flattered. Content. This was the sort of lifestyle that a warchief back in the orclands would have gotten, the sort of attention that the best warriors and the biggest lunkheads would have been enjoying on a daily basis, and yet, here he was. He was the brains, he was the power, and he was not a typical orc in the slightest...and he had kobolds treating him like a king and a dragon vying for his loyalty, offering all sorts of things to get him to join.

All things considered, it was becoming more nad more tempting, and no matter how much he knew that was part of the trap, he still found it rather lovely, rather kindly, rather...rather good.

Ugh...this is not me...

It isn't yet, but it could be, the dragon said. Unlike before...you have choices.

Great. The dragon was back again, which meant that so was the bullshit about dealing with it. Kyo'Thar sighed, grumbling for a moment before the kobolds started massaging his temples. Despite the fact that he knew that this was all one giant bribe to get his attention and ensure that he went along with what the dragon wanted, he had to admit that it felt pretty darn good. It was just annoying that it was actually that good, because he would have preferred a bribe that didn't resonate quite so strongly. At least that sort of bribe was something he could resist.

Why don't you want to resist, though? the dragon asked. I'm not trying to be a pain, but seriously. You obviously want this.

"I want it because you made me want it," he muttered.

"Who he talking to?"

"Master-mind. He talk to dragon."

"Dragon here?!"

"No, dumb-dumb. In head."

"Ooooooooh."

...Sometimes, I honestly don't know whether to laugh or cry with them...

"Heh..."

But the question still stands. I didn't make you want this. I just...gave you an outlet.

"An outlet that turned me into a pervert."

Did it make you happy?

"..."

I don't hear an answer, Kyo'Thar. I'm sorry if it embarrassed you when you had time to think about it. Gods, I didn't know it was going to go that way, but I am sorry about that part.

"You're not very good at the manipulating, evil mastermind thing, you know that?"

Good thing that's not what I'm trying to be, then.

That was...probably the most honesty that he was going to get out of the dragon, he supposed. He opened his mouth, only to gasp as he felt the kobold tongue between his cheeks go further. He groaned, curling his toes, and the various little lizards grinned.

"Oh, he like that!"

"Everyone, go for green-butt!"

"W-wait, wait, not - Mmmmmph!"

They had him bent in half in seconds, and while most of them were stroking his ass cheeks, the others were digging in between them, finding spots to settle in and he felt two different tongues working over his hole. That never would have worked with humans and other more 'civilized' people, considering their shorter tongues, but kobolds had longer, slimier tongues. He could feel them licking over his pucker one by one, teasing it, giving it attention that he couldn't have given himself.

"Mmm, tasty."

"Musky and sweaty."

"Nice and hot."

"Big and pink."

"Wanna stretch?'

"Stretch!"

Before Kyo'Thar had a chance to really understand what was happening, the two tongues that had been sliding over and around his hole suddenly pushed in. The orc's eyes widened as he felt the thickness spreading his rim, wet and slippery and oh so easy to take, but giving him something that he had never felt before. Not just interest in him, not just someone else wanting him, but that deep hunger that surpassed all the simple pleasures and niceties of society, just going right for his ass.

POP!

POP!

Their tongues popped in, and his eyes just about bugged out of their sockets as he flopped into the pillows, getting tongue-fucked and no longer thinking about much of anything.

When the kobolds were all tired out and snoozing around him, Kyo'Thar gradually came back to his senses. His ass cheeks felt wet, frictionless, and as he sat up, he could feel them grinding together in a way that he had never felt before. It didn't feel bad, but it did feel...off, strange, in a way that he really wasn't used to. Shaking his head, he flicked his fingers towards his staff, and then his new robe, the pair of them floating soundlessly towards him.

Nodding at Croon - who had taken position up at the top of the cushion pile - he stepped over the various soft supports, trying his best to avoid stepping on the kobolds. Preserving the comforts of other monsters like that wasn't something that he had ever expected to do, but now he was doing it without even thinking. He even looked back at the rooster when it was about to step on one of them and gave it a shake of his head until it stepped on the cushions, too. There was something sweet about the sleeping reptiles, and he didn't want to disturb them.

It's not about wanting to leave with them happy. It's about wanting to leave, period, he told himself.

Do you actually believe that? the dragon asked him.

I just...

Do you want to be happy, Kyo'Thar?

The orc hated that question, because until he had been changed, before this new option had been offered, he'd thought that he had been happy. He'd been doing what he wanted, been feared, been respected by those that survived encounters with him. He had been with people that didn't judge him for being a wizard rather than a fighter or a barbarian. He was around those that he could do well with, and he had...

He had been wealthy, powerful, and...

And he'd still been fighting his own misery. There was no denying that now, not after what he had just gone through with the kobolds and how the little ones had made him feel. He sighed as he knelt down and picked up his rooster.

I don't know.

You know that you'd be wanted with me.

That's not the same.

Is it?

I...I think so?

But you don't know.

Well, obviously I don't, so either you have an answer, or you're just pulling Socratic nonsense in my brain to make me admit something.

Is it working?

...I hate dealing with smart individuals.

On the contrary. I think you prefer this.

In some small way, the dragon was right. It meant that he was being forced to acknowledge things, to deal with them, and more than that, have to find some way forward. Anyone else would have left him the hell alone after he fixed them with a good glare, but this dragon? All he did was keep asking questions.

Then again, the dragon was in a different room, which meant that Kyo'Thar couldn't just fireball him. That wasn't really fair.

Fireballs don't affect platinum dragons.

...Shut up.

Just saying.

Shaking his head, he left the kobold pile behind him and walked to the far door. He did, however, stop when he found the silver kobold propped up against it, snoozing away as a sleeping guard.

...Is this supposed to stop me?

It wouldn't stop an evil person.

Kyo'Thar had never entirely considered himself evil. He had been someone that did what he had to, or so he had considered himself for years. He'd fought back against his tribe when they banished him for studying magic. He had learned how to use his power and exercised it the way that he saw fit, removing threats and using those that would otherwise be useless as test subjects. Few people bothered to complain when bandits were used as experimental figures for his new spells, and those that did were often clerics that had less worries than the rest of the world to begin with.

He had always thought of himself as someone that just put the rules to the side because the rules didn't fit with what he had to do to actually live how he wanted. Now...now he wasn't so sure.

It wasn't even that he didn't want to kill the kobold. It was that he didn't want to be rude after having been given so much fun by the little guy. Kyo'Thar stared at the silver kobold for a little bit longer, then looked at the door.

Are you going to stay?

No, I'm going to solve the puzzle.

It would be simpler to wait.

Simple. You obviously don't know me as well as you think you do.

In the end, the solution was surprisingly simple. All he had to do was float the kobold out of the way. Without leaving contact with the supporting wall, he was able to adjust the little guy to the side and give himself access to the doorway. As soon as that was done, he stepped through, and his rooster followed.

When the door shut behind him, he felt...different. Not better, not worse, but different, almost like he had made a good decision. He imagined that the rest of his party were making good progress forward, though, so he imagined that it would be better for him to start picking up the pace. It simply wouldn't do to be the last one to arrive, particularly when Red-Arms had been so much more on the fence than he was.

Actually, he's already made up his mind.

Kyo'Thar stumbled.

"What?"

He made up his mind. He's already on my side.

"How? What the hell did you offer him?"

I took away his anger.

"We did that, though."

No, you offered him a target. I took the anger itself away.

"Impossible."

Not for a dragon.

If that was true - and he had little reason to doubt the dragon at this point - that meant that the dragon had done something that Kyo'Thar had never been able to figure out how to do. It meant that there was greater power and ingenuity there than he had credited the dragon with, too, and a greater motivation than he had imagined to actually make things better for him and the party.

Something twinged at him about that. He had been in the world long enough to know that most people just didn't care about other people suffering. Most people honestly didn't give a shit about anything that didn't affect them directly. The dragon could have easily just packed up his interest in Kyo'Thar and the others, and then the whole thing would be done. No more power exerted, no more frustration on the part of anyone involved. Just a clean break, and the dragon would be free to go chasing down someone else to Claim and take as his servant.

Yet, instead of doing that, he'd doubled-down. He'd put out his power to change the rage-bound monk, giving him some semblance of an actual life. He'd offered willing - not compelled, but willing - adoration to Kyo'Thar, showing him that he was accepted and liked. He was probably offering other things to Olfel and Viola, though Kyo'Thar couldn't see that succeeding easily. Or at all, in the case of the leader .

But if it did...if I do succeed...wouldn't that be a better life? the dragon asked.

"...It would be a life working for someone else. Living under your thumb."

Well, in your case, probably something more intimate, but yes.

"Why would I want that?"

Why would you hate it?

"Why do you have to keep answering me with a question?"

Why don't you want to answer them?

"I haven't studied for this."

That's life. Nobody can study for that, I'm realizing.

"...You're cheating."

Well, you have about five more rooms before you have to make a final decision, but I hope to convince you before you get there.

Five more rooms. He'd started in the mirror room, then went to the harem chamber, and now he was here, wherever here was. It was a hallway of sorts, something that curved into a corridor that looked like it had been ripped from a cave somewhere. A few low rumbles echoed in the distance, and he imagined that there were some monsters populating that narrow space.

Five more rooms until I don't have to listen to your confusion...

Not sure if he was talking to himself or the dragon, Kyo'Thar stepped forward. The long hallway would take some time to travel, and he doubted that it was going to be completely peaceful. So far, he had been made to look at himself quite a bit, to see what his body looked like, to admit that he had sexual urges that hadn't been there before but were very, very fun to have. He had been put through an orgy, and he had been allowed to enjoy himself in a way that still affected him with every step, considering the fact that the kobold spit might as well have been alchemically enchanted for how slippery his ass still felt.

All of that implied that the monsters ahead were likely going to be the sort that were less friendly, less deadly, and more on the perverted side. He didn't know what had happened to the dragon since the last time that they'd encountered one another, but one thing was for sure. The dragon had certainly embraced his inner hedonist to a far, far, far greater degree.

He took one step before he felt something rumble to his left. The orc ducked, and a tentacle shot through the space his head had been in, obviously aiming to take him right in the mouth. He tapped it with the end of his staff, delivering a punishing electrical shock.

"Yes...definitely more perverted." Shaking his head, he slowly tucked Croon under his arm. "Best you stay down here for now...no violations of you."

"Ca-ca!" the rooster enthusiastically agreed.

"If we get out of this normally, I'll ensure that we are matched as wizard and familiar as soon as possible."

"Ca-ca!"

He smiled, and continued forward, keeping his eyes peeled for any more tendrils that might cause either of them problems.

The End
