"Pleasantries, dear listeners! This is Mr. Vic and I hope I'm not coming on too strong. If you like news, you're going to love our next segment. Are you annoyed at how slow the elevators move in the Presidium? Then be annoyed no longer as our fine engineers have begun to install the latest in elevator technology. You'll be moving so fast you'd barely finish the conversation you have with your companion. Isn't the wonders of science amazing? Also: Castle Arcade is hosting a small tournament for competitive players of Shattered Eezo. If you think you've got what it takes, then head on down to the Castle and see if you can become the Champion. That's all the news we have for the past hour. Why don't you sit down and relax to some tunes that have been scientifically engineered to be irresistible."

Pop music, as Cyrus recognized it, began to play through the speakers of the radio. His head bopped to the rhythm and he began to lightly tap his feet on the floor as he looked over the documents in front of him. Compared to the cheery, infectious, and lively music, the paperwork was dull, forgettable and ultimately white noise. But such was the life of being a Citadel Defense Officer. If he wasn't out doing missions, he was here, doing what every officer hated to do.

He just sighed, eyes idly glancing at the clock that was painfully moving slower than usual. Gentle artificial light poured in from the windows, a glimpse of the outside peaking in. It was a sea of metal shaped to look anything but. Tall spires that reached up to the skies with various lit windows. Down below was a carefully manicured park dotted with green bushes to give the appearance of a natural environment. A few cars flew by, some driven by people, others by AI.

All in all, It was just another day at the Citadel.

Cyrus turned back to what he was doing, relieved to see that the stack of paper he was working on had now shrunk immensely. With a light sigh, he grabbed his stamp and began to read the letter. It was a report detailing a shipment of food that was sent from Earth. That was good. They could always use more food. He stamped it with the seal of approval, before putting it onto another pile. The next was a letter of request. It was from a Turian merchant, asking if it was possible to get some security detail for the grand opening of his shop. Cyrus nodded. It was another one to be approved.

It was simple and ultimately forgettable work, but it was work nonetheless. It put credits into his digital wallet and for that Cyrus was grateful. Though admittedly he wished he was out on the field doing something more...physically oriented. Once the reports were completely done, Cyrus sat up straight and stretched. He was glad that the work was finished for the day. His omni-tool sounded off, informing him that he just received a message. With a few quick taps he loaded it up.

It was from Cragg, his Krogan friend. "Let's go out for drinks," the message read. "The same place as usual."

Cyrus smiled.

It was a few minutes or so later that Cyrus stepped off the tram and found himself standing at the Silversun Strip. It was an entertainment hub, meant to help the citizens of the Citadel unwind and relax. It was a place bathed with neon light, loud sounds, and the hustling and bustling of many aliens from different walks of life. Whatever you need, the Strip probably had it. There was a gun range, a bar, and even a casino to name a few. Cyrus fondly remembered enjoying himself at the range, firing off shots when he wanted to blow off some steam and still keep his edge. He was on the leaderboards too!

The dragon made his way through the crowd, passing by a display of lights and sounds that pulsated to the rhythm of a nearby club. He arrived at the bar soon after, the smell of alcohol, expensive personalities, and drunken party goers littering the room. He squeezed himself past the dancing patrons and made his way to the counter, sitting next to his krogan friend that was already helping himself to a cool drink.

"What took you so long?" Cragg asked.

"Traffic was bad."

Cragg snorted. "On the tram?"

"Like you wouldn't believe." The bartender came and Cyrus ordered his usual, a fruity Pina Colada. He always loved how sweet it tasted. Topics of conversation were eventually covered as the two friends enjoyed their time together. Cragg started them off with an anecdote of him having to teach a group of trainees in the art of bomb defusal. It was going well until there was an unfortunate accident and one of the trainees triggered the dummy bomb, exploding confetti everywhere.

"Did he cut the wrong wire or something?" Cyrus asked curiously.

"He did. It's only later that I realized he was color blind."

"How the hell did this get past screening?"

"Your guess is as good as mine." Cragg took a sip from his beverage. The music was still blaring in the bar, and the mood was still in the thick of things. If it were any other day, Cragg would have hit up the asari that had been looking at him from across the counter. But today was different. There was a reason he called up Cyrus.

"Cyrus," he began, "I have to ask you something."

"Yeah? What is it?"

Cragg paused for a bit, before ultimately speaking out his question. "Can I trust you?"

The question caught Cyrus off guard. Where was this coming from? "Uh, yeah. You can." They have been friends this long, and have been in numerous life or death situations before. If what they had wasn't trust in each other, he didn't know what it was. "What brought this up?"

"I need your help." Cyrus's brow rose and he leaned in, showing Cragg that he had his undivided attention. Cragg then continued saying, "I received a message from the Mico Clan; my krogan clan."

"Okay...did something happen?"

"Apparently," Cragg continued, "they are unable to reproduce."

The statement briefly hung in the air. Cyrus cocked his head towards the side, a bit baffled. "I thought that was the whole point of the genophage." From Cyrus's basic understanding of intergalactic history, the krogans used to be a large race that was whittled down to smaller numbers. This was made possible due to a genophage, engineered by the salarians, and deployed by the turians. The primary reason was that the krogans were a violent race, and their proclivity to war would lead to galactic ruin, thus the deployed drastic measure. Or at least that was what Cyrus remembered the book he read about it once before.

"Well...yes," Cragg answered. "But no. The genophage reduces viable pregnancies. Not make us sterile completely."

Cyrus nodded. At least that cleared things up. "So what's happening then?"

"I should clarify: the Mico clan is unable to reproduce not because they are sterile." Cragg then looked at Cyrus seriously. "But because the males are unable to get erections."

Cyrus blinked. He reeled back for a moment, looking at Cragg. Was that...was that the punchline? A smile lightly tugged at the corner of his lips. "Are you fucking with me?" Unfortunately for him, Cragg was not laughing. His face was still completely serious and he remained unfazed. "You're not joking?" Cyrus asked.

"Any other time I would be. But no." Cragg sighed, turning back to look at his glass that was now half empty. "Honestly, I really could care less about what happens to my clan. They could rot for all I care. But the krogan in me tells me that I should help them."

"How do you know all this?"

Cragg turned to face him. "Do you remember Dr. Tula?"

"I do." She was the asari researcher they had rescued in a previous assignment.

"A fellow researcher contacted Dr. Tula to try and get the word out that one of the clans were in danger of dying because of the aforementioned problem. She figured to tell me after realizing I'm part of the Mico Clan."

"Has she mentioned this to the Citadel Council? Isn't this better suited for them?"

Cragg looked at him. "Do you really think the Citadel Council has the time to deal with something like this? There are many krogan clans, with many being more well known and renowned. Ours dying off would just be a small blip in the grander scheme of things."

Harsh, but it was true. The Citadel Council was busy these days having to deal with the leftover mess by Saren. It wasn't hard to surmise that by the time they got to the problem that was affecting the Mico Clan, the clan itself would have died off. Cyrus placed a hand on the counter, propping himself up. "So what do you want to do?"

"Dr. Tula told me that the researcher had leads on what could be causing the problem. Issue is, she needs a security detail because she believes the cause is inside one of the ancient temples near the town. Those things are overrun by the natural fauna of Tuchanka. And if you know anything about Tuchanka, it's that everything there will try to kill you."

Cyrus nodded. "So you want me to help you in being her security detail?"

"You're the best person I know. Though, I'm asking this as a favor. This is off the record. We'll be going there as mercenaries." Cragg paused then added. "You're not going to get paid. I understand if that is a deal breaker for you; no hard feelings."

Cyrus shook his head. "It's the least I can do. Besides, I had nothing better planned for the weekend. I don't think I'm going to get assigned any patrol missions either so I'll take the exercise when I can get it." He placed his empty glass onto the counter and looked at Cragg. "When do we leave?"

0 = 0 = 0 = 0 = 0 = 0

Tuchanka.

Cyrus didn't know much about Tuchanka outside of what he remembered from his schooling and from the anecdotes Cragg and other krogans had told him. Some labelled it as a hellish place, the extreme temperature almost unbearable to anyone who wasn't a local. He remembered the codex entry informing him that it was a hostile environment, home to dangerous and predatory fauna, accompanied by virulent diseases. Unfortunately, the codex entry on the matter was short and didn't expand much outside of a cursory overview. Understandably so, as Tuchanka wasn't exactly the best place to go study when you could die at any moment. That and the lack of academic presence in the area. Krogans who were scientifically inclined were so rare, you'd think they didn't exist.

"So who's our point of contact anyway?" Cyrus asked.

The small ship they requisitioned broke through the surface atmosphere, the planet below them coming into view. It was brown as far as the eye can see, and if you didn't know any better, you would have assumed it was a barren planet. It was only when they got lower did the signs of civilization come into view. Ancient spires stuck out from the ground, reaching up towards the sky, remnants of krogan history lost through the years. A sandstorm obscured their vision, shaking the ship as they went lower and lower. As Cragg piloted the ship to an open bunker designated as the landing pad, Cyrus looked through the windows. The area they were in looked like a place stuck in time; a location that was struck by war and was never able to fully recover. Compared to the bright lights and lively towers that could be found at the Citadel skyline, this place was filled with rusting metal works and structures that the strong gale-like winds could topple at any moment.

If there was one thing Cyrus was sure of, it was definitely not a tourist hotspot.

"We're looking for a researcher by the name of Wala. He said he'll be waiting for us by the landing bay." Cragg landed the ship and a few minutes later, the two stepped off the vehicle proper. Cyrus secured the pistol and rifle he had with him. He briefly checked the dashboard on his omni-tool. His shields were charged, his ammunition accounted for, and all his weapons were calibrated. They weren't here on official matters but private business. If anything were to go wrong, they were on their own. Cyrus looked around and immediately noticed something.

"Where are we, Cragg? How come no one is here?"

The landing bay was shockingly empty. The terminals were unmanned, and the place felt awfully quiet despite the howling winds outside. It felt eerie.

"We're at Clan Mico; it's several clicks away from Clan Urdnot." Cragg's eyes wandered, visibly looking concerned. "There should be guards here." The sound of footsteps alerted the two, making them face forward to see who had finally come to greet them. From what Cyrus could recognize, it was a krogan, but upon closer inspection he noticed they were shaped somewhat differently. He couldn't quite put his finger on it but it was there. Instead of the typical garb that was standard issue armor that most krogans wore, this krogan was instead wearing a white blazer atop what he considered were scrubs.

"I'm sorry for taking so long!" the krogan said, sounding a bit exhausted and out of breath.

"It's okay, are you alright?" Cragg asked. "We're looking for Dr. Wala."

"Oh!" He perked up. "That's me! I'm Dr. Wala."

Cragg's brow rose. He then visibly shifted his stance. "It's nice to meet you doctor. I'm Cragg, and this is Cyrus. We're the mercenaries that Dr. Tula contacted to help you in your research."

Wala nodded, smiling happily. "We'll take all the help we can get. Please, follow me."

The two then followed after the scientist, going into the facility. "I'm sure you've noticed the lack of krogans in the area."

"I have," Cyrus answered. "Is this part of the problem?"

"How much did Tula tell you?"

"The basics. Just that we're having a breeding problem."

The scientist shook their head. "That's one way to put it. It's a bit more complicated than that." The two were then led into an infirmary. Beds lined the wall, all of them occupied by krogans who seemed afflicted by whatever plague this was. Majority of them were asleep, snoring peacefully while being monitored heavily by medical equipment. The few that were awake were being attended by nurses. 'Attended' seemed to be the operating word here. It was when they got closer that Cyrus realized that the nurse had quite the bedside manner.

"How are you feeling today?" the nurse asked. Their hand was placed on the male krogan's hefty balls. It looked unnaturally swollen. They were gently massaging it, idly fondling the shaft that was shockingly flaccid.

"Worse. It hurts so bad." The male groaned, lying on the bed. It was plastered all across his face. Cyrus was sure there was a proper medical term for it. He just referred to it personally as blue balls.

"As you can see, the males of the tribe are having difficulty getting erections." Wala turned back to face the two of them. "That and ejaculations. Krogan sex drives are quite powerful and thus lack of sex leads to very painful cramps."

"That and the lack of breeding is leading to extinction," Cragg added succinctly.

Wala nodded, leading them towards a small room at the back of the infirmary. It was an office. Various stacks of paper littered the desk. There was a bookshelf overflowing with files, and the terminal on the desk was displaying various images of flora and fauna Cyrus had never seen before.

"Is there a team trying to synthesize a cure?"

Wala answered flatly. "You're looking at her."

It was at that moment that it clicked for Cyrus. Wala was a female krogan, as well as that nurse earlier. It occurred to him that this was the first time he was ever in the presence of one. After seeing only nothing but male krogans, seeing a female krogan was insightful for him. The slight difference in physique was now becoming clearer to him. He snapped out of his musings long enough to ask the question: "How far along are you then?"

"I believe I've found the cause." Wala sat down, typing away at her omni tool. The display projected in front of them, revealing a hologram of the things Cyrus saw earlier.

"What am I looking at?" Cragg asked. It was an alien plant that looked like it was simultaneously dying while at the same time looking healthy as ever.

"You're looking at a Donag Tree."

Cragg reeled back. "You're joking right? Aren't these things a myth?"

Clearly missing a few puzzle pieces, Cyrus decided to voice the obvious question. "What's a Donag Tree?"

Cragg turned to face him. "It's a tree that's mentioned in Krogan rituals. The sap from it is said to rejuvenate any exhausted individual, giving them uncountable amounts of stamina to make them last longer." The krogan shook his head. "It's basically a fairy tale." He then turned to look back at the floating hologram in front of him. "At least I thought it was."

"If it's supposed to be good for you, then how come it doesn't seem to be?"

Wala decided to pitch in. "My studies have shown me that the sap of the tree does have those rejuvenating qualities. Even just a mere whiff of it would give any male or female krogan a strong intensity. However, it has to be in the right conditions; proper temperature for one thing. Slight differences in the temperature changes the biochemistry of the sap, resulting in what we have now."

Cyrus nodded. "How exactly did this spread?"

Wala pressed a few buttons on her omni tool. The projection changed to that of a security camera. The Donag Tree was front and center, growing healthily despite looking like it would die off at any second. The trunk was resting on a brown hill, some branches clearly having been torn off for whatever reason. Sap leaked from the broken branches. It was thick and creamy, the white liquid dripping down into an open pipe that was filled with flowing water. "So it got into the water?" Cragg asked. "How come you haven't fixed this broken pipe..."

His voice faltered off the moment something moved in the background. The hill the trunk of the Donag Tree was resting on wasn't a hill. It was a living thing. It shifted slightly, moving up as it in an effort to be more comfortable. Cyrus had never seen an alien being so large before. Cragg on the other hand let out an exhausted sigh.

"What is it?" Cyrus dared to ask.

Cragg answered his own question earlier. "It's a thresher maw."

Wala looked at both of them. "This is why you're here."

"You can't expect us to do this by ourselves," Cragg reasoned. "We're just two people."

"Three actually," Wala responded. "I'm going with you."

"Well three people then," Cragg said, annoyed at the prospect. "This is suicide."

"Are thresher maws that dangerous?" Cyrus asked curiously.

"They are," Cragg answered. "They're one of the more dangerous predators here on Tuchanka. The young ones can be big as a car or a ship, and the fully adult ones can be as big as buildings or even bigger." He turned back to the projected video that looped in on itself. "I think this one is fairly young, so he's not that big. But we're going to need some serious firepower if we plan to kill this thing."

"But we don't have to, right?" Cyrus reasoned. "We just need to find a cure." He turned to look at Wala. "So what exactly do you need?"

"I need to get a sample of the sap; the more, the better. Once I get it, I can synthesize a drug that'll hopefully cure the krogans."

Cyrus thought for a moment. "So what she's saying is that she needs a distraction." He paused for a bit. "Live bait."

"We are going to die." Cragg looked like he had zero fucks left to give at that point. "I guess it's one way to go. At least I could be commemorated as a hero of my tribe." He sighed. "Let's go then."

0 = 0 = 0 = 0 = 0 = 0

The trip to the Water Facility wasn't that far off. It was only a few clicks away from their previous location. Cragg was the one driving the cruiser and Cyrus and Wala were at the backseat. There wasn't much of a view outside: just empty and barren landscapes as far as the eye can see. A few broken structures dotted the area, but other than that, it was just a wasteland. "So," Cyrus said, turning back to look at Wala who was visibly loading a pistol. "You're a scientist?"

Wala gave him a puzzled look. "I am. What of it?"

"No, it's just...I rarely see krogan scientists. Let alone a female one. I thought female krogans were mostly..." He tried to find the most appropriate word.

"Breeders. The word you're trying to find an alternative to is breeders, right?" Wala waved a dismissive hand. "It's alright. It's the most appropriate word there is. And you're correct. Female krogans are focused solely on that. I am infertile."

It was like a lightbulb lighting up inside Cyrus's head. It made sense. "Oh...okay. I'm sorry to hear that."

"I do not need your pity," Wala commented. "And I never ask for it. It is the main reason why I am a scientist. Before this entire debacle, I was focused on trying to find a cure for the genophage." Her expression turned a bit grim. "I still have yet to find a breakthrough."

"You and the rest of the galaxy," Cragg added.

They arrived at the Water Facility a few minutes later, parking at the open bay. It looked like a place held together by scrapheap and other bits and pieces of metal others managed to scavenge. It was a fairly large facility with an open center where the main water valve was located. Cyrus hopped off the cruiser, loading the assault rifle on his back. The grenades Wala provided jingled lightly in his pocket.

"Let's go," Wala said, leading them forward. The doors unlocked with her keycard and the two made their way towards the central control room. The large tinted windows provided an unobstructed view of what they were up against. True enough, the Thresher Maw was right there, seemingly resting next to The Donag Tree that was still leaking copious amounts of sap.

They got to the large industrial doors that led to the outside. Cyrus prepared his assault rifle. It immediately synced with his HUD giving him valuable information such as his ammo, his overall vitals, as well as the vitals of the people around him. "Let's go over the plan one more time," Cyrus began. "Cragg and I go on in. We cause a distraction and lead the thresher maw away from here. We go through the industrial doors at the other side of the yard and try to lose it."

"While you're doing that, I'll grab the sap we need and store it into the containers I brought with me." Wala had a tech bag with her that jingled as the glass containers inside gently rubbed against one another. "And lastly: don't die."

"I don't plan on it," Cragg said, checking to see if the assault rifle was loaded properly with the laser clip.

Wala then unlocked the door, and the two quietly entered the yard. The thresher maw didn't seem to notice them or at least didn't care that they were there with it. Either way, it allowed the duo to move to a more advantageous position. "You ready?" Cragg asked over the radio.

"Ready as I'll ever be," Cyrus aimed his gun at the thresher maw that was resting peacefully by the Donag Tree.

Cragg toggled his gun. "Light it up!"

The sound of laser blasts screamed through the air and collided with the alien monster. It reacted accordingly, crying out in pain and rising up to respond to the violent assault. Cyrus and Cragg ran towards the door, firing blasts every now and then to draw the thresher maw away from the tree. Sure enough it followed, shouting and roaring in anger and pain as it did. It slithered across the ground, shaking the very facility they were in. It was larger than it seemed and now it was mad.

Wala watched as the industrial doors closed behind them, the sound of laser blasts echoing loudly across the facility mixed in with the roar of the thresher maw. Not wanting to waste any time, she immediately ran over to the Donag Tree. Getting the sap was easy enough, the sheer volume made it easy to fill the containers she brought along with it. While the fluid was being collected into the containers, she turned her attention to the broken tube. Water was flowing freely, taken directly from beneath the earth. After making sure she knew what pipe this was in particular, she began to fiddle with her omni tool. They needed to divert the water to avoid the Donag Tree sap from mixing in with it. It took a bit but after a few careful presses, the water flow began to slow, before ultimately stopping completely. That should stop any further infections within the tribe.

"How's it going over there?" Wala asked over the radio.

The sounds of shouting and laser fire filled the radio. It was Cyrus that answered. "How do you think it's going?! I'm throwing a grenade! Get down!"

A loud sonic boom could be heard in the background, followed by the sound of the thresher maw screaming in pain. "I think you just made it madder!" Cragg shouted.

"Are you nearly done?!" Cyrus asked, turning his attention back to Wala.

Wala's eyes flickered towards the containers. As if on cue, it signaled that it was now filled to the brim. "I'm done here! I have enough sap to do some research."

There was a loud boom over the communications. It seemingly shook the entire facility with it. Wala looked towards the source of it and could see smoke billowing out towards the sky. "Damn, that explosion was a lot bigger than I thought it would be!" Cragg added on the radio. "Do you think it's dead?"

"I don't know and I don't want to know," Cyrus responded. "Meet us at the bay. We need to get out here."

"Roger that!"

It was a few minutes or so later that Wala, Cyrus, and Cragg met up together at the bay. The two men looked visibly exhausted. "You two alright?" Wala asked, looking at the two of them. Their clothes were visibly singed, and ripped at some places. They were miraculously unscathed outside of the aforementioned burn marks. Wala assumed those were probably from the explosions they caused. "What the hell did you do?"

"It's amazing what you can do with a little thing called a grenade bouquet," Cragg answered. "Come on, let's go. I need some ryncol to drink after all this."

The trio boarded the cruiser, with Wala securing the collected samples into the vehicle. A few moments later, the cruiser's engine switched on and they were in motion. They managed to clear the bay area doors when the ground beneath them began to shake. "What the hell?!"

Cragg stepped on pedals, making the cruiser go forward just in time as the earth beneath them previously split open. Out from a geyser of rock and dirt came out the thresher maw, angrier as ever. "You've got to be fucking kidding me!" Cyrus cried out. The thresher maw had sustained visible damage from the grenade bouquet earlier. But it would seem what didn't kill it made it only more angrier. And now it was hounding the cruiser.

"I don't think we're going to be able to outrun that!" Wala shouted, the sight of the hulking behemoth slithering after them scaring her.

"I don't plan to!" Cyrus answered. He stood up, going over to the small armory they had with them. He reached over to the keypad and typed in the special code. One of the desks flipped over and revealed their last trump card. "Let's see how you like this." He began to set it up, the weapon coming online and syncing with the targeting reticle on his HUD. Cragg opened the windows to the cruiser, giving Cyrus a direct line with the thresher maw that was dead set on chasing after them.

"Eat this!" With a press of the trigger, the rocket launcher flew across the air, heading straight towards the thresher maw. A loud explosion followed soon after, rocking the cruiser cabin and pushing it ever so forward. The loud guttural roar of the thresher maw was deafening. It was angry, it was mad, but it retreated. It buried deep into the ground, and gave up the chase.

The trio were victorious.

Cyrus sat back down, the adrenaline in his body beginning to finally wane.

"And that's why you always bring a rocket launcher."

0 = 0 = 0 = 0 = 0 = 0

The trip back to the main facility was thankfully an uneventful one. After the explosive ending that was dealing with the thresher maw, Cragg and Cyrus were more than happy to welcome the reprieve. As soon as they landed back at the main Mico Tribe location, Wala got to work. She had already prept the necessary experimentations and theorized some calculations on what mixture needed to be created. All that was missing was the sap. Now she had it with her, she began adding it to the mix. Cyrus and Cragg watched as the good scientist worked her magic. The beakers were bubbling and the results of the testing were being flashed at the terminals. When one was done, she was able to produce a small vial filled with a blue liquid.

"That's it?" Cragg asked in disbelief. "Is that even going to be enough?"

"This is just a test sample. If my research is correct, this should work. Now I just need confirmation." She then looked at Cragg.

The krogan blinked. "What?"

"I need to test this on you," Wala answered.

"Oh hell no," Cragg answered. "I just risked my ass against a thresher maw. You can't expect me to do this too."

"Come on, Cragg," Cyrus added. "You already risked your life once. What's another to add onto it?" Cragg just frowned at him. "Besides, what's the worst that could happen?"

"If I die, I'm going to haunt you for the rest of your life."

"Nice try. I've heard krogans are a bitch to kill. I doubt something like this would be the one to do you in," Cyrus answered, continuing to convince Cragg.

Cragg took a moment to fully decide his decision before ultimately cursing under his breath and walking over to Wala. "This better not be a mistake."

As Wala began to inject the blue liquid into Cragg, Cyrus decided to ask the obvious question. "So how exactly does this cure work?"

"It's meant to counteract the effects of the Donag Tree in an infected individual," Wala plainly answered, injecting the fluid straight into Cragg.

"But Cragg isn't infected though. Would it still behave the same way?"

Wala stepped back. "It should." She looked at Cragg. The krogan was staring at his right hand, idly opening and closing it. "How do you feel?"

"I don't feel...any different." Cragg paused for a moment, and a few seconds later, he felt it. It was like a bomb suddenly exploding inside of him. He felt hot. Like he was on fire. His breathing picked up pace, and he felt his heart begin to race. "Holy shit!" he said. He could feel the blood rushing all over his body.

He felt alive.

Then he cried out in pain, keeling slightly over. "Gahh!!"

"Oh no! Are you okay?" Cyrus cried out.

Cragg didn't answer but instead began to quickly take off his lower half clothing. It was too tight! In a matter of seconds, his clothing was removed and he was bare naked on the bottom half. The nudity didn't concern him. He was more than happy to be relieved from the pain he was feeling. His cock was standing proudly erect, ready for some action. It pointed straight at Wala, the cocktip leaking healthy amounts of pre and dripping onto the floor.

"Well, that answers that question," Cyrus added. "You feeling okay?"

"I...I am..." Cragg answered. He walked back slightly, sitting his bareass on one of the tables. "I just...I'm just so horny."

"That's to be expected," Wala said, staring at the sizable cock staring back at her. "It is from the Donag Tree after all." She then walked over, kneeling in front of Cragg's erection. "It looks good..." She then professionally reached over and slightly cupped the krogan's many balls. "Okay no swelling here either." Cragg winced, her touch feeling quite electric. It took everything in him not to suddenly thrust into her face. Wala stood up and began to note the results into her omni tool.

Cyrus was watching this and a thought popped into his head. "Can I try this?"

Both Cragg and Wala looked at him. "Why?" Cragg asked. "This shouldn't work on you anyways. You're not a krogan."

"Well that's true."

"That's actually a good idea," Wala said. She scratched the bottom of her chin. "Testing it on Cyrus would allow me to see the effects of it on races that aren't krogan. My studies have informed me that it shouldn't affect other races since it primarily targets things that all races have in common." She then walked over to the counter and began to prepare a syringe. "Are you sure about this?"

Cyrus shrugged. "Ah screw it, why not."

"Alright, here we go." Wala then walked over and injected the fluid into Cyrus. The fluid felt cold. It was like ice running through his veins. It stung but not enough to be anything serious. True enough, there wasn't anything at first. Cyrus felt fine. Then, the peace was broken by the sudden effect. His vision blurred slightly and he suddenly felt like he was on fire. "Whoa!" he cried out. Blood rushed all around his body and Cyrus felt like he could run a marathon and then some.

"Okay...okay..." Wala was carefully examining the effects on Cyrus. She was monitoring his vitals through her omnitool. Cyrus's heart rate spiked but it was to be expected. His testosterone levels were also rising, along with his entire body temperature. It looked like he was suffering from a fever.

Cyrus then felt the stinging pain. Much like Cragg, he too had to undress. His erection was pressing painfully against his clothing. In a few moments he was standing naked next to Cragg with an erection to rival that of his companion. "Fuck, that feels good," he said in relief.

"How do you feel?" Wala asked, writing down notes on her omni tool.

"Horny," Cyrus answered. The desire to rut was intense. The sensation almost harkened back to how he felt when he was just a teen discovering sex for the first time. All he wanted at that moment was to just empty his balls. "It kind of hurts actually."

Cragg winced. "Same here. My balls feel full."

Cyrus looked at Wala who was taking down what they both said into her notes. "Can you help us with this, Wala?"

The female krogan sighed, and nodded. "Sure, it's the least I could do." She then walked over to the two of them, kneeling in front of their erect cocks. She grabbed both, one in each hand, and began to lightly jerk the two males off. To say that it felt heavenly would have been an understatement. Cyrus's sensations were heightened because of the drug and Wala's touch felt electric. He took a deep breath, feeling his body shiver due to the contact.

"Fuck that feels good," he said leaning on the table.

Cragg was in the same position. The krogan's eyes were closed, clearly focusing on the sensation he was feeling at the moment. His legs were actually trembling and he had to steady himself on the table with his hands. His cock squirted a bit pre, hitting Wala on the chest. "Sorry..." he mumbled.

"It's okay," she answered. She then paused for a bit and used her free hand to get a taste of the squirted precum. She made a mental note that it tasted sweet, yet a bit tangy. It had a slightly different flavoring from how she normally expected krogan sexual fluids were. Cyrus's was also unique. It was a bit sweet but a side of earthiness to it. It was a bit difficult to explain since it was a required taste. But she knew for sure she wanted more. Before long, Wala found herself suckling on both their cocks. She pulled both of them close and happily lapped at the tips of their penises, and enjoyed the dollops of precum that leaked out every now and then.

"Fuck...you're great at this," Cyrus responded. "I take it you had practice?"

"Mmmmhmmm," Wala responded, her mouth vibrating on their cocks. She popped her head free and then explained, saying, "I rarely get to have sex seeing as I'm infertile. So when I do, I try to make the most of it."

"Well you can call me anytime," Cyrus responded. "With a mouth like that, it's a crime you don't get to use it."

Wala chuckled, stepping off for a bit. The two males then watched as she undressed in front of them. It was the first time Cyrus ever saw a female krogan, let alone a naked one. But he could definitely say that Wala was a beautiful krogan. She was voluptuous, and although they were of different races, Cyrus was definitely attracted to her. Wala then knelt back down, this time continuing to suck the two of them off with more gusto. Her mouth felt like a vacuum. The suction was perfect and the way she flicked her tongue back and forth was perfect. Cyrus felt like he could cum right then and there. But when he was about to blow, Wala stopped. He was left shaking, wondering what was the hold up. He then saw her go over to the nearby gurney and get onto it. The slit between her legs glistened with arousal. She looked back at the both of them with bedroom eyes.

Cragg and Cyrus didn't need to be told twice.

An unspoken decision between them being decided as one went to the front and the other to the back. Cyrus lined himself up into Wala's dripping pussy and inserted himself. Cragg meanwhile had the good doctor open up her mouth to accept his fat cock. A slow rhythm soon followed with Cyrus pushing forward and Cragg pulling back in unison. This then went in reverse and vice versa. The gurney rocked back and forth aiding in their fucking as Wala was stuck in the middle of the spitroast. Cyrus felt like he was on top of the world. The effects of the Donag Tree were in full force and he could feel every sensation all over his body. The deeper he went, the more pleasure rocked his entire form. Cragg was the same, reaching forward to cup Wala's breasts in his hand. They were big, supple, and perfect for his large hands. The three were lost in the throes of pleasure, amplified by the effects of the drugs.

It was Cyrus who eventually exploded first. Like a valve being open, cum shot out from his cock and went straight into Wala's pussy. His balls quivered and emptied itself and then some. The sheer volume and intensity was unlike anything he experienced before. It dripped out at the sides, leaking down the gurney and onto the white tiled floor. Cragg at the front was the same, nearly drowning Wala at the excess of his cum. The female krogan had to gulp it down but some just leaked at the sides of her month due to being unable to drink them all. The two were out of breath and sweating heavily. But shockingly, they still had their erections. They still wanted more.

Cragg and Cyrus glanced at one another.

"Let's switch."

"Okay."

A few moments later, Wala was plugged back in again, both of her ass and her mouth filled with cock. She didn't mind it. In fact, she relished it. It was probably the most action she had as of late and she was going to milk it for all it was worth. The taste of cock filled her mouth, and she noted the differences between the two males. She made a mental note to consider expanding her research to mating habits of other species. Cragg was happily humping away at her snatch, his four balls slapping at the entrance and would practically leave a mark at this point. Cyrus on the other hand was just fucking her mouth relentlessly. His cock pistoned in and out like a well oiled machine. It helped that his cock was already lubricated from his previous ejaculation. It didn't take long before the two reached their end once more. It was Cragg this time who came first. He roared loudly, no doubt audible throughout the entire facility. It was the typical roar of a krogan announcing to the world that they were mating. Even having ejaculated mere moments ago, his second ejaculation was just as powerful and just as much volume. Wala swore she felt her stomach swole given how much she was being filled at both ends. Cyrus was giving it all he had. His balls rose and his cock trembled. In a few seconds, he ejaculated too. Ropes upon ropes of semen escaped from him, depositing it straight into Wala's hungry mouth. The krogan was more than happy to accept it. She did try to pace herself however, as she didn't want to drown in literal cum.

By the end of it, the trio were soaked in their sexual fluids, all basking in the afterglow of their orgasms. The two were well spent. Their erections were at half mast, still up for more, but could obviously use a break.

"Fuck..." Wala said, speaking for the first time. "You two are insatiable." She sat up from the gurney, the cum dripping down from her orifice. "But at least we know the cure works." She smiled. "We can get to fucking more later. Right now, we need to get this out."

"Well alright," Cyrus responded.

It was all in a day's work.
