I finally finished the second chapter, this is about 3, maybe 4 times longer than the first chapter, i didn't intend it to be so long, but i came up with some good ideas when i did the first draft, so now i've chapter 3 planned out and i'm currently planning chapter 4. Because this is so long there will no doubt be some spelling and grammar mistakes that i haven't spotted, so if you do see any just give me a shout and i'll correct them. i think i'm getting to gripes with the dialogue, but im still not quite there yet, and im struggling a bit with the pacing, so some criticism or pointers would gladly appriciated.

_ Across The Pond: Chapter 2_

Joe was definitely not a morning person.

He slowly awoke after what felt like an eternity being asleep, he eyelids needing more motivation than usual just to open slightly, he let himself adjust to the clear morning sunshine seeping through his half closed curtains, instantly remembering how he forgot to close them properly after opening the window. He cursed under his breath for his momentary lapse of judgement. He sat up straight, duvet wrapped around him to shelter him from the cold, he peered over the side of his bed to look at his phone, trying to figure out what time it was, the screen flashed eleven forty-seven at him, "Jesus", he said to himself, "I've been asleep for Fourteen hours and I still feel like shit, no way in hell am i ever bloody flying again".

He propped himself up against the wall next to his bed and looked around his new room, reminding himself of everything that had happened in the last week, he was still deeply upset about being forced to move out of his flat by social services, he cursed himself for still being seventeen, why couldn't they have just left him alone?, they knew he was coping, they knew he had a job in a café, Christ they were the ones who arranged the fucking interview, he could look after himself, he could pay the rent, everything was fine for once in his life. He missed London, he missed his friends, he missed his flat, no, his own home, this house though, this wasn't his home, this was just a room.

Joe got up, grabbed a cigarette, and ran to the window, he grabbed his lighter off the ledge where he left it before, held it up to his muzzle and pressed down as hard as he could, "I just need to chill the fuck out" he told himself while inhaling, he still didn't know the whole situation after all, maybe Frank and Alice would fill him in when he came downstairs, they would probably try and skimp on the details or change the subject, but he wasn't going to take no for an answer, Joe could be incredibly stubborn when things didn't go his way.

Joe rummaged through his suitcase looking for an old t shirt and some sweatpants to wear, he dressed himself as fast as he could and hurried out of his room, he could shower later, right now he had more important things on his mind. He got to the top of the stairs and stopped, realising he had no idea where he was going.

"I really should of had a wander around first" he muttered to himself.

He gingerly crept down the stairs, trying not to alert the couple in case they heard him, for some reason interrogating them out of the blue seemed like a good idea at the time, he looked around the hallway, it wasn't too big, the house itself looked a lot bigger when he was arrived, noticing the framed pictures nailed into the wall, he took a closer look. There was one of the couple together, and another with their newborn children, who Joe barely knew about, Alice had explained to him in the car about how they had decided it would be a good a idea if the kids spent the week with their grandparents, to give Joe some breathing space when he moved in, seeing as He was used to living in his own. Joe thought it was a terrible idea.

But then again Joe thought the whole ' being forced to move to North Dakota by social services/court order and live with a couple he barely knew for reasons people weren't telling him' was a fucking terrible idea.

Standing next to the front door, Joe wasn't sure which way to turn, he was pretty sure the hallway to the right led to the kitchen (the faint smell of burnt toast was a dead give-away), Hoping he was going in the right direction, he slowly made his way down the hallway.

When he entered the kitchen, two things struck him, first, was how large and modern it was, something he was not expecting, and second, was that it was empty, Joe figured that they were in the living room until he noticed a piece of paper stuck to the front of the fridge with a magnet, he picked it up and read it carefully, making sure he didn't miss any important details:

"Joe.

Frank and I have gone to pick the kids up from my parents, unfortunately it's an eight hour drive just to get there, so we'll be staying the night here, I've written down my cell no. And my parents house number in case you need anything or if there's an emergency, there's lots of leftovers in the fridge, please remember to something while we're gone, also, I think it would be best if you stayed in the house while we're away seeing as you don't know the area, stay safe, and remember to ring me if something happens.

Love Alice.

Joe read the note again, making sure he hadn't missed anything, nope, there it was, he had a free house, the first thought that crossed his mind was the words house party. Being the norm for teenagers in England to engage in underage drinking nowadays (something that Joe was familiar with on a regular basis) he didn't see any problems with the idea at first, although the difficulties of trying to host a house party in an area he wasn't familiar with, where he didn't know anyone who he could invite (or anyone in general for that matter), plus having no money and a fake ID that wouldn't work here to buy alcohol, would make life difficult.

"Fuck it, I'll just go out and find one then" he thought to himself, surely there must be a least one party going on somewhere right?, it was always the case back home, so why should it be any different here?.

He noticed the time on the kitchen clock said it was only noon, so he had plenty of to plan out what he was going to, when he was going to leave, and most important, what he was going to wear. "plus with a free house there's time for...other things" he thought to himself, a wide grin emblazoned itself on his jaw as he felt a stirring in his loins from the very idea, he hurried back upstairs to his room, deciding to have a shower first before he got carried away, "Shower first, wank later" he told himself.

Joe took his time in shower, wanting to make sure his fur was in it's best condition for tonight, he paid extra attention to his beloved tail, after having to neglect it last night for being so tired, he worked his special soap into his tail with delicate and careful movements, trying to make sure it was as soft and fluffy as possible, he also paid some attention to the fur underneath his tail, working his way down to his lower half until he reached 'the glory hole', teasing and crooking his index finger along his anal ring certainly struck a chord with his sheath, his tip slowly rised until it was half-erect. Joe looked down at his sheath and decided this would be more fun out of the shower.

He stepped out and carefully dried himself, caressing his chest and genitals with a soft towel, making sure his erection didn't die down. He moved towards his suitcase and quickly fished out a small tube with the word 'Lube' written across it and an old bodybuilding magazine he found then he was staying round his uncles house.

"This should be fun!" he said to himself.

His dick was fully erect now, he gently stroked it, shivering as pleasure shot through his body, he quickly glanced at the enormous Stallion on the front cover of the magazine, his maleness straining against those tight shorts, the thought of him and the stallion together, touching each other and pleasing each other sent a drop of pre shooting from his tip, Joe couldn't help himself any longer, the thought of release was too hard to resist.

'Ringgggggg, Ringggggggg!'

"The fuck is that?" he muttered, it wasn't him, his phone was on silent, it sounded like it was coming from down stairs.

"Oh you have got to be fucking kidding me!" he screamed, he ran as fast as he could down the stairs, Joe could hear it from the kitchen, he legged it through the hallway, and sure enough, it was on the kitchen counter. He lunged for the phone, desperately trying to reach it before whoever it was hung up.

".....Hello...who is....This?"

"hello?" Joe are you alright? You don't sound too good?"

"No I'm fine, I was upstairs when you rang, that's why I'm out of breath", Joe answered.

He felt his sheath quickly retracting, "Too late now" he thought, the moment was gone.

"Fuck".

"Sorry, what was that?"

"I said what up?", Thinking on his feet was one of Joes strengths.

I just wanted to see whether you're all right, sorry we didn't talk to you about this before we left, my parents were feeling under the weather and they couldn't look after the kids any longer bless them".

Oh no that's fine, I only just woke up anyway, so what time are you going to be back tomorrow? Said Joe,

"Late afternoon I'm afraid, oh did you read the note we left you?

"Yeah I just did, erm, about staying inside, say if Someone came to the door and I needed to open it, where would I find the key?"

"well there's a spare key in the draw next to the front door, but please only use it like you said, oh do you want to say hi to the kids?",

"No not really gotta go bye!" said Joe, excitement took over him as he slammed the phone down, there was nothing stopping him from going out now, realising that he was naked and no one else was here, he though he'd explore the house more, he found that beyond the kitchen was a large dining room, with a beautiful oak table in the middle, with gorgeous silverware meticulously placed on top, he figured the couple must host dinner parties.

He went back through the main hallway into what Joe assumed was the living room, unlike the exceptionally smart dining room, this was much more casual, a fairly decent sized TV in the middle, a assorted collection of sofas and chairs, and a large fireplace with a huge photo of the family together above it. They all seemed to be taken a long time ago, the two seemed much younger, there were no grey hairs, and Frank had an athletic vigour about him, each were cradling a small child, Alice was holding a tiny little boy, he couldn't have have more than a year old, whereas Frank was carrying what appeared to be a three year old girl on his shoulders. They looked like such a happy family, so close, so loving of each other, Frank and Alice were obviously good parents he thought. he stared at the picture a bit longer, a wave of loneliness and guilt overcame him, this family were so close, and here he was, having been dumped on them for unexplained reasons, and as hard as Frank and Alice would try to make him feel a part of it, he would always be an outcast in this household, he was just an unloved burden.

Joe slowly trudged back upstairs to his room, he felt like he had a just stood on an emotional landmine, he suddenly felt very drained, and he wanted nothing more than to curl up and go back to sleep, there was nothing else for him to do anyway.

Joe awoke again later in the evening, checking to see what the time was on his phone, (it read eight twenty seven) he also noticed he had an unread message from Alexan, an old and dear friend of His back in England, he debated whether to read it now or later, he quickly made his mind up, tomorrow would be better, knowing Alexan it would be important. He decided to leave the house at nine, as that was usually when a good party had gotten into full swing. He bent down and reached for his suitcase, he still hadn't put everything away properly, so he had to pull all his clothes out and pick which pieces he wanted to wear.

When it came to clothes, Joe was very picky, sometimes bordering on snobbish, he usually brought his clothes from stores most people would consider expensive, but also he would buy clothes from vintage stores and charity shops from time to time to help stand out a bit more, he picked out his favourite black Adidas jacket, a light grey vest, some old Levi's, and a pair of brown Doc Martens, with a couple of necklaces and his favourite silver fox pendant to finish it off. Feeling confident with his choice, he got dressed, grabbed his phone, his cigarettes, a lighter, and a small bottle of vodka he managed to sneak over, and headed downstairs, having found the draw and fished out the spare key, Joe jammed into the lock and open the door.

Two things struck Joe when he stood on the front porch, one, it was fucking freezing, and two, he had no idea where he was, he didn't know what the name of the street was, he didn't even know the freaking' address of the house!.

"Well this is turning out to be a shitty idea" he said,

Remembering his phone had Google Maps, he pulled it out of his trouser pocket and tapped the screen where it said current locations, the screen obeyed by dropping a little pin where he was, he then saved the location and all it's additional info, that way if he got lost he could find his current location again, but this time the phone would to able to give him directions back to the house.

Feeling rather smug at his ingenuity, Joe locked the front door, slipped the key into his front pocket and set off, confident that he would find what he was looking for. He was also glad that he had decided to roll his jeans up and wear boots, the snow in the driveway was very thick, and very difficult to walk in, but luckily it also made his outfit look much better. He made it out onto the pavement and observed the surrounding houses, they were no different to the one he was currently living in, they were all slightly larger than an average house and covered in snow, the street itself was deadly quiet. No one else was walking along the pavement, no kids were playing outside, everybody appeared to be inside, Joe couldn't blame them though, who wouldn't want to be inside when its pitch black and freezing cold?.

Lighting another cigarette, he looked to his left, and then to his right, he wasn't sure which way to go, if he made the wrong turn the night could end up a complete failure. Since he didn't know where either led, he would have to go on a gut feeling, he inhaled deeply, knowing he had to make this count, Since he was left handed, and was pretty left wing in general, he slowly shifted his body in his chosen direction.

"Left it is" he said as he exhaled.

He slowly made his way down to the end of the street, taking his time and listening out for any music, loud talking, anything that could be coming from inside a house overrun with drunk trespassers. All he could though was the dead silence, the uncomfortable quietness that accompanied a night like tonight. He made another left, then another right, walking through one identical suburb after another for felt like hours. He stopped in another street, and pulled out his phone to check the time, it read ten thirty four, he'd been walking around for an hour and a half and had found nothing, he thumb hovered above the current locations button, he could either turn back now or carry on looking, but for how much longer?, it was only going to get colder, and he wasn't exactly wearing the right clothes.

Joe looked up and paused, all be could hear was silence, the deadness of the night, although he swore he could hear something in the background, it was very faint, but it sounded like.....music?.Confused, Joe started walking, was he imagining things?, no, it was definitely getting louder, he reached the end of the street he was in, turned to his right, and found exactly what he was looking for.

Less than a hundred metres away from him was a very large house, with scores of people inside, the thumping bass from the music drowning out everything in its path, outside on the front lawn was a mixture of empty beer cans, plastic cups, and a small group people huddled together in the freezing cold, all of them appeared to be smoking, and they were Joes ticket to getting inside.

"Perfect", he thought to himself, a small smile crept across his lips as he started walking towards his target, he quickly ironed out the smile on his face, knowing that any small mistakes could cost him, he went over in his head how he was going to introduce himself, and some small talk to get himself on their good side.

Noticing they were all standing well clear and towards the left of the house, he quietly crept towards the front porch, making it seem like he'd just came from inside, readying his packet of cigarettes and making sure he didn't reveal his working lighter by mistake, he cautiously headed towards the group, quietly confident that this would work.

"Excuse me, do any of you guys have a lighter I can borrow?"

As corny as it sounded, it genuinely worked every time, one of the small positives about smoking was that it was a very good way to start a conversation with a complete stranger.

"Sure" replied a large Doberman to his left as he retrieved it out if his trousers pocket.

"Cheers" said Joe, he wasted no time and got straight down to it, placing a cigarette in his muzzle and lighting with the strangers Zippo, he quickly inhaled, and gave the lighter back to the Canine.

A smaller German Sheppard with a curious expression on his face tilted his head slightly, he eyes fixed upon Joe.

"Hey, I don't think I ever seen you around here before, you new here at or something?"

"No, I'm just staying here for a few weeks with some relatives downtown, but they've gone out for the night so I thought I'd explore the area a bit more" he said.

He didn't want to say why he was really here, plus telling someone you're on holiday is always an ice breaker, he looked around and acknowledged the other smokers, he noticed some of them looked slightly 'emo', or whatever stupid social click they called themselves these days, the others were all bigger than Joe, they looked like they were either on the football team, or just general underachievers, whatever, as long as they didn't hit him, Joe didn't care.

"So where are you from? you like Swedish or something?" quipped an enormous tiger next to him, who was wearing a battered leather jacket, he certainly made himself known. Joe was completely bemused by the whole situation, he was expecting people to ask dumb questions the moment he got here, but Swedish?, that was new," it must be the boots" He thought. What the hell, he might as well go along with it, it must be a leaving party for all the people going to college, judging by how everyone looked a little older than him, so this was never going to bite him back in the ass.

"Yes, I am Swedish" smiled Joe.

They all lit another cigarette and decided to stay outside longer, asking Joe questions about Sweden that ranged from stupid to just plain retarded, Joe's personal favourite was why he didn't have a Swedish accent, he could barely contain himself when he explained that it was because of the time difference and they believed him. Joe even had to sing the swedish national anthem, but after a while Joe even started to enjoy himself, and when they started making their way back inside even the 'emo' kids were smiling.

Joe also noticed that they all went inside together, this was good, they acknowledged him as part of their group, now he'd have someone to talk to, and when word got round that he was 'Swedish', things would pick up, he hoped things would pick up soon though, as this was not what he would call a party. Although there was music playing, no one was dancing. Everyone was either sat on a couch talking, or standing up in a group talking, mellow was an understatement.

Suddenly the huge tiger grabbed him by the wrist and pulled him towards a group of equally enormous Jocks.

"Hey dude, come say hi to the guys!" said the tiger as he dragged Joe across the living room.

"Hey guys, you gotta meet this dude, he's from Sweden!" shouted the tiger, all the jocks turned around, and Joe was greeted with a wave of whooping and cheers, soon all the jocks were gathered around him, asking him the same mundane questions.

"hey man do you want a beer?" asked the tiger

Nah its cool, I've got my own drink" answered Joe, remembering the bottle of vodka stashed in his jacket pocket, he took the bottle out, unscrewed the lid and took a healthy swig.

"Whoa, this guys drinking vodka!" Said a large coyote in front of him.

Suddenly everyone surrounding him turned round, some of them looked amazed by what Joe was drinking, an extremely good looking stag wearing his football captains jacket turned up, looking intrigued.

"Vodka?, dam kid that's some pretty hardcore shit right there"

Not in Sweden though, everybody drinks vodka there right dude?" said the tiger.

Err...I think you mean Russia?"

"Ok bro no one likes a smartass!" answered the tiger, trying not to show his embarrassment he jokingly punched Joe's shoulder, the fox wincing in pain, he obviously wasn't aware that Joe wasn't exactly tough enough to withstand such a blow, even if the tiger wasn't trying.

The night went on in the same vain, being surrounded by enormous jocks who's lives seemed to revolve around sports, TV and scoring girls, Joe found it incredibly draining talking to them, while trying not to get on the wrong side of anyone by saying something stupid. Thank god he had spirits to get him through, he had cleared off half of the bottle and was starting to feel the effects, he pulled out his phone to see the time, twelve sixteen, could this night any worse?.

"Heyyy, heyy swedishhh dudeee!! Come over here for a sec!" yelled the tiger from the across the hall.

"Oh Jesus" muttered Joe, whatever the drunk tiger wanted, it couldn't be good.

"If he thinks I'm sucking his dick then he's in a world of hurt" Joe thought to himself.

The tiger, who was joined by two equally drunk Dobermans, waved at him to come over.

"Dudeee, me and the guys were thinking about hooking up with some hot babees, you see that lot over thereee?, theyyy would doo the jobbb don't ya thinkk?"

"Shit". What the fuck am I going to do now?

"Ermm, I dunno guys, they seem outta my league, plus, I...err.....have..a girlfriend back home!". That will do nicely he said to himself.

"Soooo?" Said of the Dobermans, "Itsss not like she's gonna know right?, and we told them about you beinggg Danish or Dutch or whatever, and they totallyyy want youuu bro!".

"I'd know, you know, I mean,....I got to learn to be faithful at some point I guess", he hoped that would get them off his case.

"Dudeee, that's sounds so gayyyy, you're not likeeee a fag are you?" said the other Doberman, all three of them now looking at him with a hint of suspicion.

No...course not" said Joe, realising he was in a dangerous position, he pulled out his bottle, took a heavy swig, turned round and was about to make a swift exit when he heard another voice speak.

"Hey leave the guy alone Tom, at least he's getting some, whereas I don't recall you banging a girl at all, isn't that right?"

Joe froze on the spot, that voice, it was so calming, and it made him feel so warm inside. He turned round and felt his jaw hang open.

In front of him was the most beautiful wolf he had ever layed his eyes on, he was a good foot taller than Joe, he had the most delicate facial features, His fur was even whiter than the snow outside, his slim fitting t shirt showed off his exceptionally defined muscles, but the most striking thing about the wolf was his eyes, when he looked into those bright, electric blue eyes, he felt like the wolf could see right into his soul, but instead of feeling cold, he felt like the wolf was comforting him, it was strange, the only he'd ever felt remotely like this before was when he was with Alexan....

"Heyyy mannn shut upp!" yelled the drunken Doberman, he tried to punch the wolf, but instead he fell straight over, the other two roared with laughter while the wolf just stood there and smiled at Joe.

"Sorry about them, they can be a real pain after they've knocked back a few, oh I don't think we met before, I'm Jake" said the wolf, holding out his paw.

I'm Joe, charmed " replied the fox, meeting Jakes paw with his own, his fur was so soft, and the pads on his palm were very smooth and not at all callously, any feelings of intimidation melted away.

"So one of the guys told me your from Sweden?"

Uh, yeah, I'm just staying with some relatives downtown"

The wolf smiled again, but this time he bent down to around the foxes height, his muzzle meeting Joes ear,

"Funny, I've been to Stockholm three times and not once do I recall meeting a Scandinavian who spoke with a British accent", and I also happen to know the Swedish national anthem does not contain the word IKEA either" he whispered.

Joe froze, so the wolf was hot and incredibly intelligent as well, plus if he's been to Stockholm three times then he must be pretty cultured, no doubt he'd be going to a well funded college in a few weeks.

"shame..."

He snapped out of his daydream to find the wolf looking straight at him, he tore the lid off his vodka and took another swig, he'd nearly finished the dam thing off, walking back was going to be a nightmare.

"You don't look too good, do you want to go outside to get some air!" shouted the wolf, trying to make himself heard over the music.

Errrr...Yeah sure....Lead the way" replied the fox.

Jake wrapped his paw around Joes wrist, and gently pushed his way towards the front door, with the fox slowly following suite, when they got outside, Jake guided him to a small bench hidden underneath some shuddery, out of side from all the people in the house.

"Here sit down, if your going to throw up then just tell me ok?" said Jake, the wolf sighing when Joe finished off the last of his vodka, he took the empty bottle out of Joes paw, tossed the bottle aside, then gently lowered the fox down.

"Thanks for looking after me" said Joe as he light another cigarette, he was half expecting the wolf to give him some lecture about the dangers of smoking, but no, the wolf sat there, watching Joe, seemingly more alarmed by his alcohol intake.

"Hey don't worry about it, can't just leave such a little fox like you alone with those guys now can I?" said Jake as he sat himself besides Joe.

" What you think I can't look myself around some dumb jocks?"

"You should give those guys more credit, they might not be the brightest bunch but at some point they're were bound to figure out that you've been toying with them all night"

"Oh come on!, they thought I was Swedish, how could I resist?"

"It's probably because of those boots you're wearing" said Jake. "That and your furs a lot more red than people round here are used to seeing, you do look Swedish in a way"

"Well, I do know the national anthem" said Joe as he smiled, they both laughed for a while, He noticed the wolfs laugh was genuine, not forced.

"Hey how did you know I said Ikea?, and I do not look Scandinavian!, I'm from England for Christ's sake!"

"I was in the kitchen with the window open when I heard those guys were asking you all those questions, some of it was hysterical, those guys are more clueless than all the football team put together, and it's the colour of your fur by the way, but it's no big deal, plus, I think it looks cute". Realising what he had just said, Jake hastily tried to change the subject.

"Err, and did I mention your accents really cool as well?"

Joe didn't say anything, he put out his cigarette, plucked up every ounce of courage he had in him, and kissed the wolf on the lips, he was scared the wolf was going to pull away, but instead the wolf responded by pressing his lips against Joes, as well as wrapping his arms around the foxes waist, it was wonderful, It was indescribable, it was just perfect. Jake pulled the fox closer towards him, both opened their muzzles, allowing their tongues to explore each others mouths. Moving his arms above Joe's Shoulders, Jake then ran a paw through Joes cheek, caressing his fur while Joe brought one paw on each of the wolf's pectoid muscles, rubbing his fingers through the fabric, they were rock hard, and they weren't the only thing that was hard. After what seemed like forever they're lips parted from each other.

They both sat there for a while, neither of them not sure what to say and neither wanted to ruin the moment.

"your very sweet, you know that?" whispered Joe.

"Well, I try"

Joe looked at back at the house, he really didn't want to spend another minute inside there, plus the party was starting to wind down anyway. What he really wanted was to spend the rest of the night with this incredible wolf.

"Hey, here's a thought, you fancy going back to mine for the night?, the house is free and nobody is going be back until the afternoon?", he tried to play it off as casually as he could, but his tail gave away his eagerness.

"I'd love that but its get getting late, and if I don't get home soon I'm going to end up getting grounded I'm afraid, how about we share a cab back home?, don't worry about paying, I'll get it, think of it as my way of making it up to you?"

"Fine by me, I'm too pissed to even walk in a straight line, let alone all the way back to my house, woaah!" yelled Joe as he tried to get up and walk, his legs buckled from the obscene levels of alcohol in his blood stream, Jake quickly helped him up and put Joes arm around his shoulders, carrying him down to the street corner, "urrrgh, Jake, I don't feel so good..." whimpered Joe, "stop, I'm going to be sick!", Jake knelt down and let held Joe as he vomited all over the over side of the pavement, the smell of alcohol was overwhelming, Jakes gag reflexes kicked in as he tried to hold his breath. Joe continued to vomit for another minute while Jake rubbed his back, doing whatever he could help get as much of it out of Joes system.

Jake pulled a small cloth out of his back pocket and wiped Joes muzzle clean, he picked the fox up and layer him back down against a brick wall, he knelt down in front of Joe to check whether he was all right.

"You poor thing, I've never seen someone hurl so much, how are you feeling now?

".......Shit, but I don't feel like I'm going to throw up again, I can't believe you just watched me Chunder everywhere, I am never drinking this much in front of you or anyone ever again!"

"Oh don't worry about it, at least you didn't lose consciousness, You think you can walk?"

Yeah I think so, can you help me up?

Jake pulled the fox up and slung Joes arm around his shoulders, just to be on the safe side, they took a left and carried on walking until they found a small brick wall they could sit on, Jake helped the fox sit down, while he opened his phone and rang for the nearest cab service, he looked and saw Joe shivering in the freezing cold. He told the cab driver where to pick him up, put his phone away and sat down next to Joe, He wrapped his arms around the fox and embraced him, while Joe pressed his muzzle against Jakes upper chest fur. Both sat there in silence, Jake running his paw through Joes fur.

"Thank you for tonight, I really enjoyed being with you" whispered Joe

"I did too, I just wish I could spend the night at yours though, I don't want things to end just yet ".

Joe looked up into Jakes eyes, "Hey, Don't worry about it, there's plenty of time for it, it's a small town, I'm sure we'll see each other again at some point " .

"I'm sure we will" smiled Jake, their lipsmet again in a deeply passionate kiss, their blossoming love for each other was growing by the second, Joe had never been happier in his life than at this moment.

They parted again just as the cab arrived, a rusty old tug boat of a car that luckily had an industrial sized heater, the skunk behind the wheel looked exceptionally tired, and either didn't notice or didn't care that the two candid's were holding hands. Joe remembered how he'd saved his address for such a situation like this and managed to read it out loud for the skunk. After fifteen minutes or so they arrived outside Frank and Alice's house, Jake got out with him and walked him to his front door.

"You're been such gentleman all night, You don't have do this"

"Oh no, The pleasure is all mine, plus, I can't have you falling over and hurting that cute little tail of yours now can I ?", here pass me your key and I'll open for you".

Jake unlocked the door, and guided Joe though, the fox turned around and meet Jakes eyes

"So when will I see you again?, hey what's your number?"

"Oh my number isn't important right now, I doubt you'll remember me when you wake up, but don't worry, I'm sure we'll meet again soon" smiled Jake, he kissed Joe on the forehead, then made his way back to the cab. He climbed inside, and disappeared into the night.

Joe closed the door and locked it behind him, he looked at the stairs and wondered how the hell he was going to get up to his this room. He slowly made his across the hallway, desperately trying to reach the banister to keep himself upright, he made it up the first step and then stopped, trying to compose himself so he didn't end up falling down the stairs, the thought of found by Frank and Alice lying in a crumpled heap made his fur stand on end.

With both paws firmly holding onto the banister, Joe slowly climbed up the stairs, taking one at a time, he wished Jake had stayed, knowing the wolf he'd probably just carry the fox upstairs in his arms, being the gentleman that he was.

When he made it to the landing, Joe breathed a heavy sigh of relief, all he had to do now was make it to his room, get his boots off, and climb into bed. He slowly crept into his room, trying to steady himself while he made his way to his bed. When he reached his target, he slumped across his bed sheets, Joe was so exhausted he could barely sit up, somehow he managed to bend over and undo his Doc Martens, kicking then off his feet, he then took off his jacket and flung across the room, and finally managed to get his trousers off.

He crawled underneath his duvet, and hunched up into a ball, trying to find any traces of Jakes scent, it was faint but it was there all right, Joe inhaled deeply, letting the wolfs scent fill his nostrils, it was sweet with a hint of musk, Joe found it intoxicating.

All Joe could think about was the wonderful wolf he had met tonight, he wondered if he would ever see Jake again, he hoped so, not even Alexan could make him feel this way. He briefly forgot about all his troubles, he forgot about all that bad things that had happened to him in the last two years, all the pain that Alexan had caused him, all of it disappeared instantly, he only had one thing on his mind when he closed his eyes.

A Gorgeous white wolf named Jake who had stolen his heart.
