It wasa cool evening for once aftera heat wavepummeled the midwest. all six of them were on the bus heading to their favorite watering hole for karaoke night. It was karaoke night, Snowballls favorite night of the month. "Gonna do it tonight Naomi?" Snowball asked as they walked in and were shown a round group table. "Ya" she said sittingdown "Why not" she said. The group of friends ordered thier drinks as the girls at the opposeite table kept staring at Snowball but no one not eve him noticed. Waiters collected the sign up sheets and made an order for the customers.

She did an amazing rendtion of Pat Benetar belting out the lyrics. and than it was quiet. Her song was over gut the bar was applauding and cheeing. And with that Snowball was the next one ujp. "Can't wait to see him follow that act."Following him would be harder we know he can sing." she said sliding over on his lap.
The spot litght was on him as the track started. He performed Owl Citys Silohuette and beautifully but that was the moment Ace noticed the girls at the opposite table oogaling Snowball. It was a surprise song for sure but one that fit his mood. When it was done and he was starting to walk nack Ace whispered so only his group could here "See those girls they've been eyomg him all night. If your gonna make your move nows the time before you lose him forever. You lucked out that he left Tanya dont waste this seond chance." Ive been there for your dark times and your happy times. And what started as cruch..... since middle school i've fallen in deep for you. I dont know how you feel but I want a chance to show you." A look of shock came over his face. "i got mad the other night becuase you were with her and i wantedthat to be me. I dont blmae you if you hate me for this but I had to tell you." "since long ago huh? You know the rules agout friends and dating. Okay maybe I do have some feelings to return but I dont want to run the risk of lose you forever if we break up. I havent dated since high school I'm rusty and will screw it up some how." z"you cant see that risks are worth taking? We know each other inside and out. We have the advantage here. They walked back to their table and after he sat down. she staddled hi lap putting her arm around his nek. "Ae you two..." "I realized I was running" Snowball said "And I had to turn around so she could catch up." "Even More good news. Naomi finally agreed to move ine." Ace said. Even more taosting was had. Zella got her boy and Naomi decided to take the plunge and move into the boys pad.
Later That Night
The lot of them trudged up the stairs except Snowball and Zela. the two couldnt stop kissing. The spark hit both of them hard and he gave in to his feelings for her. Would they sink or swim? well that depened on them and how far they were willing to take this relationship but they both gave in and something magical would begin to happen
