#4 of Town Of Aesop (C)

Someone wanted Fox and Crow, so here's Fox and Crow! A ton of fables have a fox in them. Apparently they were almost as popular with Aesop as they are with the furry fandom. Lions also come up a lot. There's a reason I started with Fox and Lion!

There was nothing like having a place of one's own. Kit was getting to experience that first-hand, he'd never really had the chance to have his own place before, he'd always lived with others, be they family or roommates. His little house in Aesop was the first time he'd truly been 'on his own' and it was a bit of an adjustment, but a welcome one - his roommates hadn't even been THAT bad, but there was always the prospect of friction if someone stepped out of line. Living on his own meant he had to do all the regular work, but it also meant he didn't have to worry about annoying anyone else with anything he did and he had all the privacy he could hope for, and he was pretty quickly finding that the latter was well worth the former.

One thing that he was a bit behind on, though, was truly making the place his own. He'd gotten settled in, but the place still looked a lot like in was still a blank slate. Furnished, but not decorated. And when he saw other homes in the area, such as Lazlo's, they had more the appearance of really being personalized, with art and decorations and whatnot to make the places more their own. That was something Kit wanted to get a start on. And fortunately, Laz was good help there, as he seemed to be with many things - he referred Kit to an artist in the area who did a fair few things for people all around town. He gave Kit the address, though at first Kit was unsure he had the right place - it looked like a regular home on the street, not an art studio.

Not until he knocked on the door and was let in did he realize that it was both.

"Heh, that look never gets old." The crow, a fellow who must have been around Kit's age named Keenan, chuckled at Kit's wonder at the surprising entry room. Paintings all over the walls and also sitting on stands, looking just finished or even in progress. Wood carvings and furnishings in the making off in one corner. Clay and stone sculptures and crafts in another. Through a doorway in another room, a desk was strewn with papers and drawing materials. It was almost overwhelming, how busy it seemed to be...and Kit didn't see anyone else around, either. "Yeah, I figured, why rent a commercial space when I'm just gonna want to spend all my time there and none at home? You never know when inspiration is gonna strike, and I didn't wanna be away from my stuff when it did...so, yeah, this is my studio and my home. Kitchen and bedroom and bathroom are really all I need for living space, really, so I have plenty of space for the art stuff."

"You...you do all of this stuff yourself?!"

"Hah, you make it sound impressive! I've just always loved all sorts of creative, artistic stuff, figured I might as well get into all of it if I liked it! But I'm probably one of those 'jack of all trades' types, probably not as good as if I specialized...but honestly, I don't think I could handle just doing one type of thing for the rest of my life, I need the variety. So that's what I'm doing! Art of any type that suits my fancy. And being able to do a bunch of things means I can fill a lot of niches, so there's something for just about everyone."

"That sounds super neat! I never had any real artistic talent myself, but I always admired it. Always impressive seeing what people can do...though I suppose I mostly look at stuff on the computer."

Keenan snickered. "I do digital, too! Pretty good market for that, too, people always want backgrounds and banners and personal art. Also got a 3D printer, so knowing how to computerize is helpful! But I'll never get tired of organic art, either, a lot of stuff you can't just keep on the computer!"

Kit nodded eagerly. "I'll have to keep that in mind! So, is this the gallery, or do you have a browsing section, or..."

"Afraid not!" replied the crow chipperly. "I don't do galleries, not for customers. Anything you see on display is either personal works or commissions in progress or ready to be picked up. People want art that reflects them, and I feel that the best way to do that is to make art specifically for them, rather than general stuff that people might want to compete for. So if you want something, I'll be happy to make it for you, but everything around here is just examples of what I can do!"

"Ah, okay! I guess I'm gonna have to think about what it is I want, then. Probably something to hang on the walls, at least...I just moved in, so I don't know exactly."

"Recent arrival, huh? A couple things hanging on the walls can liven a place up pretty nicely. If you'd like, I can start you with a particular thing I like to do for people in personal residences. It's an 'essential painting.' Basically, I paint something that I feel like is 'you' without you directly telling me what it is you want. Even I don't know what it's going to be until I start working on it, I just basically go off of what the essence of 'you' tells me."

It sounded like nothing Kit had ever heard of. "Huh...that sounds unusual. You do that often?"

"Every now and then. I know it sounds rather dicey just hearing about it, but people see the finished products and say it's uncanny how much it speaks to them. It's also one of the less expensive works I offer, since it's more freeform."

Kit had to admit, he was curious about it. How would Keenan capture the essence of him? It could have been taken as an excuse to just make whatever he wanted, but he got the impression that Kit took his crafts seriously...and he was going to have enough trouble thinking of ideas as it was. "All right, well, I'd be happy to give that a shot. How does this work, uh, payment-wise?"

Keenan grinned. "Most works are half up front and half on completion. But essential paintings are payment on completion, since you're taking a bit more chance on my skills. I have all the confidence in them, but I always want to make sure you're satisfied as well, so if for some reason you don't feel like it's you, you don't have to pay for it. However, I am gonna need a deposit."

Kit cocked his head. "Deposit? Uh...how does that work with 'pay when you get it?'"

"Not THAT kind of deposit." Keenan stepped up to Kit, trailing a taloned finger up the fox's sack and sheath. "Can't capture the essence of you without having a bit of you in me, you know? I gotta be able to really know you to paint you...so let's get me knowing you, how about?"

"Oh, my...well, I can hardly say no to that."

"Perfect! Come with me." Keenan took hold of Kit's hand and eagerly led the fox back into his bedroom. It was definitely a place that looked well-lived-in, raw, homely, almost like the shared space Kit had lived in before coming to Aesop, perhaps Keenan's one true refuge from his art - and he imagined even a creative-type like the crow needed a bit of space to recharge now and then. But there was one thing he had more focus on, and that was Keenan, who hopped onto his bed and laid back, spreading his legs and beckoning to the fox. "Show me what you're all about, Kit."

Surely there was no refusing THAT invitation. Kit stepped up and joined Keenan on the bed, the black feathered body standing out on the aqua-colored covers. He wanted one other thing to stand out, too, and fingered around until he found the slit hiding his prize. His fingers worked that slit deftly, getting soft moans and caws out of Keenan, while his other hand rubbed over his own sheath to help him rise to the occasion. As casually as Keenan had talked about his 'essential paintings,' he was clearly no stranger to this, and Kit had to wonder how many had plundered the crow's tailhole since he'd started those offerings. Now that he thought about it, Laz DID have one painting in his house he seemed particularly fond of...

Soon enough, he had gone from fingering Keenan's slit to playing with the pink length that had pushed out from it, enjoying the crow squirming under his ministrations. He was getting nice and hard, too, eagerly anticipating sheathing himself in that feathery body. No longer needing much help, he brought his other hand towards Keenan's tailhole, teasing it a little bit before slipping one digit inside, smearing a bit of his pre around.

"Ooh...my, you're a tender one, most don't spend much time before getting to the main event," cooed Keenan. "I've been told I've one of the most inviting rears in Aesop...of course, I'm sure that's a bit of an exaggeration."

"I dunno, I'd believe it...and you sure have the confidence to play it up anyway." Kit drew a bit of Keenan's precum to help wet his tailhole further, working it open nice and effectively. It was nice to be able to stand out in some way compared to the crow's usual, at least...he'd always been a switch, but had a tendency to be insecure about being on top, he never could help but to compare himself to others and constantly wonder if he measured up to his partners' past experiences; catching never carried such pressure. Knowing he had something to offer certainly helped put him at ease, and that made him all the more eager to get to the best part.

No time like the present. Keenan felt more than ready anyway, so Kit slid his fingers out and dragged his body into position, lining himself up with that offered rear, his arms slipping under Keenan to hold the crow tight as he started to push inside. He didn't want to rush it, a chance to feel at ease on top was something to savor, but he didn't drag it out excessively either, wanting to be sure Keenan got the best he could offer. So he settled for a few thrusts that slowly got deeper inside, giving Keenan an extra bit of zip until he finally felt his knot tap against that feathery backside.

He paused for a moment, only to feel the crow's legs wrap around him, holding him close. "Mm, yeah, you're a real treat so far...don't be shy on me, now, Kit, show me who you are." Keenan's tongue was licking at his beak, he clearly was enjoying what he'd been getting so far, and Kit was determined to keep him that way.

The fox pushed his inhibitions aside as much as he could and started working in and out, making sure to go in nice and deep and find those pleasure points Keenan's rear end was hiding within its tight, warm confines. His pre made the process easier as he spurted more and more of it to smear along those walls, allowing him to get a little more even in his thrusts. He could feel Keenan tense down on him here and there, sending a nice extra bit of pleasure Kit's way, his own moans and yips escaping his maw here and there. He leaned further over Keenan as he thrust, their bodies making more contact and the crow's dick rubbing against his fur, an extra bit of stimulation that had Keenan writhing in bliss.

Kit couldn't help it, he started going faster and faster, loving the feelings too much to hold back. That might have been just what Keenan wanted, though, as the crow's moans were getting louder the more Kit picked up the pace. Keenan was pushing into him quite a bit, back arching under the energetic humping and hips rising a bit when Kit thrust inwards to meet him; his legs were also pulling Kit towards him a bit every time and slowing his extraction, a clear sign how much he wanted the fox within him. Despite his ample experience on that end - Kit naturally was no stranger to people wanting a chance under his bushy tail - the fox felt like he could take a couple lessons of his own away from this.

But for the moment, providing his 'deposit' was the most important thing, and he was very close. His knot was smacking hard against that rear, which almost felt like it was trying to loosen up to accept him inside. And then he felt Keenan's arms reach up and wrap around him. "Ahn, y-yes, that's it...give me your knot, Kit!"

It took but a few more thrusts for that request to be granted - with Keenan pulling Kit close, the fox putting his all into his thrusts, and an eager pucker waiting for that fat bulge to embed itself, it was about the smoothest knotting Kit had ever pulled of, his thickness slipping inside and planting himself within, squeezed tight by Keenan's welcoming rear end. Kit let out a slightly barking cry as he began to shoot inside Keenan, his seed spurting vigorously into those warm confines, the crow tensing down on him to encourage as much release as he could. It felt so good, but Kit wasn't forgetting Keenan, and as he humped gently and ground away at that feathery ass, he rubbed plenty against Keenan's leaky cock, trying to get it to shoot off as well. It took a minute, but he managed to reach his goal, Keenan crying out as he released a pent-up load into Kit's fur...it wasn't standing out quite as much there as what dripped bock down onto the crow's feathers, but it sure felt like he was shooting off a good lot to Kit, who didn't mind the warm sticky fluid being splattered into his fur.

Finally Keenan flopped back on the bed, his holds on the fox's body released as he was spent. "Phew...that was quite a performance. Ooh, you feel good...this is gonna be GREAT inspiration."

"I'm glad I could be so, uh, inspirational." Kit was panting a bit, it was definitely a bit more vigorous of a workout on this end, but a satisfying one to be sure. "You felt amazing, too...you must really enjoy getting customers who want those 'essential paintings.'"

"Some of my favorites, yeah. Of course, I don't say no to a good romp any other time, either...just not for discounts."

"I'll keep that in mind." Kit hadn't been planning on that anyway, but he had the feeling it wasn't a terribly uncommon thing around Aesop, so it was good to know who was the exception. But he had a feeling that the work that would come out of this was going to be worth every penny.
