There is a ton of crap goin on in my mind right now, I have almost no time to write, and when I do, I usually do something else. I end up lying awake at night picturing future parts of the story vividly, then actually writing it down my mind goes "...fuck" and I end up writing trash. That why I'm writing on this site, get some practice and then go on an actually writing site /: I know the answer to the question if someone manages to point out another reference. I really don't know if I should continue the story to be honest /:

Sorry for the long ass wait, me and my family went somewhere for summer vacation, no way I'd pass up a trip to Europe FREE. :D

Josh heard what sounded like held in laughter, Josh realized that Chris was attempting to hold in laughter, but, more importantly, he discovered who he was actually kissing, Jessica. "oh......shit......" Josh thought to himself. He decided not to move, he stayed in his position figuring that he could extend his last minutes alive. The scene gradually got more and more awkward. Jessica pulled away after about a minute of nothing but sheer awkwardness. She lifted her hand up into the air, paused for a moment, glaring deep into Josh's soul. Josh screwed his eyes shut, preparing himself. Then she closed her eyes and slapped Josh downward with all her might. Josh felt himself being propelled downward, face planting into the ground. The sheer force of the slap created a large dust cloud. Josh tasted the disgusting dirt in his mouth and spat out as much as he could. He tried to stand up again, coughing as his body attempted to get rid of the dirt that got in his system. He heard loud and obnoxious laughing.

Josh gasped and coughed, in pain, "F-fuck...you..." Josh coughed again, "...Chris!" he snarled. Chris has always pulled his magical switcharoo trick at the just PERFECT time.

Chris was gasping for air, he just couldn't stop laughing, he pulled it off PERFECTLY this time. "I-I'm sorry Josh! It was just too p-perfect!" Chris said gasping and laughing at the same time, "You'd like that WAY too much anyways," Chris said rolling on the dirt laughing. He felt light headed, he was laughing too hard.

To see Chris laughing his ass off infuriated Josh, he couldn't STAND seeing Chris THIS happy, "It wasn't THAT funny jackass, I still can't figure out how you do that!" Josh spat. Chris had done this trick since Josh could remember, he remembered the first time Chris did that, when he was still a Ralts.

~~~~~~~~~~~~Flashback~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"I'm gonna get you, Chris!" a small Ralts yelled chasing a small boy in the backyard, at the boys heels. The boy had dark brown hair, brown eyes, and was rather slim. He was wearing a yellow T-shirt with blue strips and short blue jeans. He was also wearing a red baseball cap. Other than that the backyard was a normal one. It had trees, bushes, spacious and a swing set, two of them exact. "You're not getting away this time! I have you!" The Ralts closed his eyes as he hurdled himself at the boy, tackling Chris to the ground. "Hehe, I told you!" the Ralts opened his eyes, he saw two yellow eyes staring at him. It was the house pet, a Glameow named Helena, glaring at him. "Uh...Chris?" the Ralts asked sheepishly, "Where'd you go...?" the Ralts said puzzled, attempting to get off the angry cat pokemon. The enraged house pet let out a loud hissing noise, showing its razor-sharp teeth. The Ralts was horrified, "...nice kitty," the Ralts replied. The Glameow took off running, with the Ralts still hanging onto it. The Ralts screamed in terror, "Chris! Help me!" the Ralts shrieked, hanging onto the runaway cat, tears in his eyes. The Ralts watched Chris laugh on the wet, dew-covered grass as he himself was dragged along the entire backyard...
~~~~~~~~~~Short this time (hopefully the last time)~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Chris noticed Josh just staring into space, oblivious to everything around him, even Jessica, "What the hell could he be thinking of after that, roses and daisies??" Chris thought himself. He got up off the dirt and tapped Josh on the shoulder, "Josh...you okay? You look...odd. Aren't you gonna help set up camp?" Chris asked, "We're gonna hang here for the night, allowing princess over there to cool down," Chris said pointing towards the snarling fox pokemon.

Josh jumped when he felt Chris tap his shoulder, Josh finally came back to earth, startled a little, "Oh, I'm sorry, I was just...thinking," Josh replied sheepishly. Josh was starting to drift off again when he noticed that Jessica was still right next to him, glaring at him as usual. Josh eased a few steps away for a sense of security.

Megan watched the entire thing, even though it was moderately entertaining, she still wanted to leave, wanted to just get away from everything and everyone. The fire type wanted to be alone. "Let me go and maybe I'll spare you two, I want to be alone," She asked glaring at Josh, "RIGHT...NOW!" She demanded. She couldn't stand looking at these desperate beings for another second. She watched as Chris and Josh blinked a few times, looked at each other, looked back at her, and then just they both have an outburst of laughter, simultaneously, "What the HELL is so funny?" She snarled. She couldn't stand seeing these so two happy, it made her sick.

Josh was in tears, he just couldn't stop laughing, "I'm sorry, but was that a THREAT?!" Josh asked laughing uncontrollably. It was hilarious that she was so pathetically weak, yet she acts all tough, giving a death threat even.

Chris was on the ground, laughing his ass off, he couldn't believe that she thought that they were afraid of her in ANY way, "Wait, so you EXPECT us to listen to you?! You honestly think that we'll just release a house pet gone mad, into the public, where you attack everything that comes near you?! Come ON!!!" Chris uttered out, he could feel his insides hurting, he couldn't breath. It was just too funny.

Megan felt like she could kill someone, she couldn't stand this type of reaction from her threat. It made her feel...powerless...more powerless than she already was. She was tied up, a weak house pet, and she didn't even know how she got here in the first place. She started to cry, she didn't know what to do. She felt like nothing, she wanted to disappear. "Please, just end it," She asked weakly, attempting to hide her tears, "I'm nothing, just...just rid of me!" She demanded, bursting into tears.

This infuriated Chris, he could not believe that someone could think so badly of them self, asking to be disposed of. He walked over to the Ninetales and slapped her, he glared at her harshly, staring her down, "Don't you EVER speak like that, we ALL have sorrow, but you must remember," Chris paused, making sure that the depressed fox was paying attention, "as a wise man said: 'there is ALWAYS tomorrow, always,'" Chris said, giving Megan a very loving look. Chris stared at her, with a pair of very caring eyes, "nobody can help you if you don't show pain, don't be afraid to show emotions. Don't cover them up with anger and rage," Chris then lifted the fox off the dirt and hugged her. "Sorry for breaking you like this, there was no other way to get you to let your feelings go," Chris raised her head, "please forgive us," he asked sincerely, each word oozing with compassion, caring, anything else of the sort.

Megan was stupefied, one moment this guys acts like he doesn't give two shits about her, the next he seems to care for her more than just about anything. It was very awkward at first, but then she started to let his words to sink in, and the hug felt so nice, she felt like someone cared for her again. She couldn't hold her feelings any longer, she...flooded with tears. She buried her face into Chris' chest, pouring her emotions into his chest. He just patted her on the back, he leaned into her ear, "We ALL need someone to lean on," he whispered into her ears. He tightened the hug, she only cried more. She felt as if a ball of lead was being taken off her shoulders. It was the first time she actually paid attention to Chris' voice, it was a very smooth and calm voice, it only made her more feel worse, insulting someone who truly wants to comfort her, not hurt her. Chris looked up and Josh and Jessica were sitting side by side quietly next to him, just looking at one another. Chris looked at Josh, "Could you go collect more firewood? It's going to be a long night, I can tell," He asked Josh with his thoughts.

Josh nodded, got up, and smiled at Chris, "You listen to Bill Withers WAY too much Chris," Josh told him through telepathy, chuckling silently.

Chris looked at Josh, grinning,"...I know Josh..." Chris sighed out loud dreamily, "...I know..." He thought to Josh as he patted the Ninetales on the back once more. He motioned to Josh to go now.

Josh got up and tip-toed into the woods. Josh wondered around in the forest collecting firewood, he then really paid attention to what was around him. Josh looked around, he needed to notice the tiniest things in order to be thankful for them, Chris taught him that when they were younger. Learn to appreciate things you see every day, you might not see them again. Everything from the little droplets of dew on the end of leaves, to the graceful birds and bugs flying around and overhead, and even to the delicate flowers poking out of the ground. Josh toke a deep breath, "How long have I loved him?" he asked himself, "Days? Months? Years? And just NOW I realized it?" Josh sighed, he must have loved him... for a while at least. He knelled down and got a good look at one individual and beautiful red tulip, just sprouting out of the ground, it wasn't fully open, but on its way he gave it a long stare, grinned, and moved on. He got up and looked up into the openings in the dense trees overhead, noticing little "kisses" of sunlight poking through the holes and into the forest, a breathtaking sight in an everyday forest. "God, Chris really knows how help someone like that fox bitch, maybe her previous owner is still out there somewhere," Josh told himself as he continued to walk through the forest collecting wood. He continued to wonder when he heard a loud splashing noise, he followed the noise to find Bidoof's wrestling in an opening in the thick forest. One bumped another onto stomach and it rolled into a small pond with a loud "Splo0o0osh" noise. "How cute..." Josh thought to himself. He walked out into the opening. It was clear, what seemed like natural spring water, "Wha...how in the world, I've gotta show Chris this," Josh thought to himself as he walked back with the firewood. When he got back, the Ninetales was still crying. Everyone was in the exact same spot as they were before he left, "Creepy," He thought to himself.

Chris stared at him, his head tilted, showing confusion, "What took ya so long?" Chris asked in thought.

Josh gave him a very annoyed look, "I was enjoying the scenery, and found a nice little freshwater spring, not an ugly murky pond like this one," Josh told him in thought pointing towards the pond a few feet away from them. The pond, was indeed, filthy, you couldn't see more than a foot down before you couldn't see. There was dried and cracked mud at the edges of the pond, it didn't smell all too nice either.

Megan couldn't stop crying, she just...couldn't. She went through so much, too much in the past three days. She couldn't help herself, she felt so stupid crying like this in front of a guy she doesn't even know. Nevertheless, she continued to cry for what seemed like endless minutes, but she eventually pulled herself together, she pulled away from Chris' now soaking shirt from her tears, "...thanks," she said shyly.

Chris gave her a loving look, "No problem, do you feel better?" He asked sincerely. He looked her dead in the eyes, "Now, what's wrong? Something must've happened for you to get this way, it's not natural," Chris said with a concerned look on his face. Chris knew exactly what was wrong, Josh already read her mind, but Chris thought it would be better if she told him instead.

The Ninetales looked at him, "How do you figure that?" She asked with a confused look on her face. "How could not liking things not be natural?" She asked quizzically. She had no idea where Chris was getting the idea that she just doesn't like them at all.

Josh groaned, he extended his left elbow over his neck, pretending to cut his head off, "You really DON'T want to get him started, he could go on for HOURS explaining his philosophies about life," Josh said chuckling. He couldn't be any more right though, Chris COULD go on for hours. Not like it was bad to have opinions about life or anything, but Chris was really deep when it came to that kind of stuff. He just went on and on about it.

Chris stuck his tongue out at Josh, "Since SOMEone has a million things better to do than listen," He said glaring at the Gallade harshly, "I guess one of those things would be setting up camp right?" Chris said coldly. "Hop to it!" Chris said throwing his backpack at Josh.

The backpack collided with Josh's face before he had time to react. It pushed Josh onto the cold, unforgiving dirt, "Bitch!" He yelled at Chris, pounding into the dirt. Josh got up mumbling to himself, and brushed himself off as he grabbed Jessica by the arm, "Don't think you're not helping," He said dragging starting to drag Jessica. Jessica attempted to break away, but stopped when Josh stared her down, "I will NOT take any MORE shit from you today, Jessica, enough is enough!" He yelled at the Chansey. Jessica was surprised in the very least, Josh actually stood up to her. She was convinced not to fight back and go ahead and help Josh with the tent.

Chris then resumed to looking at Megan, he sighed, "Since a certain someone doesn't want me to explain everything," He said glaring in Josh's direction, "I'm make it short this time," He paused, staring a Megan, "Megan..." He sighed, "There are no Pokemon that don't like Trainers, there are only Trainers that don't like Pokemon. You don't like us because you are blinded by anger about what happened three days ago. Your Trainer abandoned you on the night of the attack, so you probably don't like me, at all. In complete honesty, you have every right to be angry," Chris said in a very depressed tone. He sighed, "It's sad that there are mistreated Pokemon like you. "You're treated like a great friend, or maybe...something more," he said smiling in Josh's direction, "to only to be abandoned in danger, the very thought sickens me," Chris said looking downward, showing disheartenment. Chris knew that what he said was true, at least if Josh told him the correctly. He really didn't figure it out, and it was low of him to invade her privacy like that, but it was necessary information to help her get though this, in case she needed comfort, like right now.

Megan was bewildered, this guy hasn't known her for more than two days and he just explains herself to her. She started tearing up again, "It's true! It's all true!" She yelled in tears. She buried her face into Chris' chest, again, bawling. "He told me to wait there, and said he'd come back, but he didn't!" She yelled at Chris before burying her face into his chest yet again. She felt awful for saying those mean things to Chris, all he did in return is comfort her, hug her even, she felt like a monster. She cried, she cried her heart out, for endless minutes, she couldn't stop herself, but eventually she did. She looked back up at Chris again, "I'm SO sorry for what I said earlier, please...forgive me," She said lowly, lowering her head.

Chris lifted her head up gently, "Its okay, I know you didn't mean a thing, and I promise we'll help you find your owner," Chris gave her a very loving look, "but..." Chris said with a low sigh, "most likely, he is already dead, and if that's the case, then we'll let you do whatever, but we promise to help you find him if he's out there somewhere," Chris said, looking deep into the Ninetale's red eyes. Chris let go of Megan and stood up, "It's about five right now," Chris said looking at the orange color in the sky, "its getting late, we should start thinking about getting ready to call it a day," Chris looked over at Josh and Jessica. They were both about to finish setting up the tent. Chris untied the Ninetales and she attempted to stand, wobbling a little side to side. "Its okay, your body just needs to get the blood flowin' again, don't worry," Chris said chuckling. Chris got up and looked over at Josh and Jessica, still trying to put up a tent, "You guys better hurry up, we have another tent to set up," Chris said chuckling. Chris looked over at Megan, "I doubt that this one wants to sleep in the same tent as any of us," he said laughing a little.

Megan's eyes widened, "How do you figure that?" She quickly realized that was a REALLY stupid question. Chris gave her a look of disbelief, bewilder at her slowness. Megan would've hit her head on something if she could, all she could do was blush, "Nevermind..." she said lowly, embarrassed.

Chris sighed in relief, "Good, I was about to say..." Chris said annoyed a little. "I respect your rights as a woman, so we'll make a tent for you anyways," Chris asked coolly.

Megan only blushed more, "Alright...whatever you and Josh can be alone tonight," she looked away, very embarrassed, "If you insist..." She said sheepishly, with an awkward grin.

Chris laughed, "You pervert, Josh knows I'm not ready to go THAT far," Chris said, blushing as well, "And, truth be told, Josh isn't ready either, he just thinks he is," Chris said looking over a Josh, STILL setting up the first tent, "Isn't that right, Josh?! Nothing funny!" Chris yelled, "for now at least," Chris said under his breath. Chris knew how mischievous Josh was when he was younger, all he could only hope that Josh isn't as much of a prankster as he is now, "That'll be the day," Chris thought to himself. He sighed, "I guess I'll have to make sure he DOESN'T get any ideas," Chris said, annoyed already. "Hey Josh!" Chris yelled.

Josh turned away from the tent, just finishing the first one, "Whaaaaaat?" he moaned. Josh was not in the greatest of moods, Jessica couldn't build a tent for her life. She couldn't build it because she doesn't have fingers, he doesn't have any either, what fun it was to build a tent without any real grip, now to do it a SECOND time, "The HELL do you want Chris?" Josh snarled, "It better be good, I still have ANOTHER tent to set up, thanks to useless," Josh said pointing at Jessica. Jessica looked away and crossed her arms, pouting.

Chris sighed, "I want NO monkey business from you tonight, so to make sure you don't, lets spar," Chris yelled shooting Josh a very playful look, "If I win, like I usually do, then nothing tonight kay?" Chris asked with a grin, slowly turned into a glare.

Josh stared at him, sticking his tongue out, "Well, what if I win killjoy?" Josh snarled. He began walking over to Chris, extending his elbows. Gallade's extended their elbows and fought with them as if they were swords.

Chris heard the words ring is his ears, "I...never really thought about that," Chris said scratching the back of his head. "Um..." Chris paused, he felt like a complete idiot, then it hit him, the little pond Josh found, "We share a bath at that nice little pond you found, deal?" Chris said seductively, easily getting Josh's attention.

Josh stood there staring at him, bewildered at what Chris just said, he couldn't believe his ears, Chris is actually ALLOWING relationship progress?! Josh ran over to Chris, looked at Chris with a loving stare, then kissed him passionately for what seemed like and what could have been several minutes. He brought his mouth up to Chris' ear, "Deal..." Josh whispered into his ear, feeling Chris' cheeks as he pulled away. Josh stared deep into Chris' brown eyes, with Chris looking back into his. Josh was a little upset that Chris was against what he wanted right now, but Josh didn't care, he had plans to break him, especially if he won.

Megan never paid attention to them as they kissed, it made her feel sick just watching them. Now that she actually listened she noticed that when they kiss, it was very noisy. The kiss made a very loud and wet sound, it made her sick to her stomach. "God, when you fags kiss it sounds like someone eating a SANDWICH!" Megan complained, earning a glare from both of them, she glared back, "Okay fine, egg salad!" she said, 'correcting' herself. They both stared down at her, frightening her, "With extra mayo!" she added, with a wide awkward grin.

Josh gave her a look of disgust, "Screw you," he simply stated. He glared at her, staring deep into her soul. "Screw...you," He repeated for emphasis.

She snickered, "Only in your dreams," She retorted, "Oh wait..." She blinked a few times, "You WOULDN'T be dreaming of WOMEN would you?!" She exclaimed, bursting into laughter.

If she was trying to piss Josh off she succeeded, Josh wanted to tear her in half. Josh roared at her. He lunged at her, death blades first, Josh suddenly felt himself being held back, like a bear hug. He knew it was Chris, "Let me go you asshole! This bitch needs to DIE! She obviously doesn't want our help!" He yelled. Josh was so angry, he would NOT this fox just insult him like this, he was CLEARLY stronger than her. "Chris...LET ME GO!" Josh demanded, each word oozing with anger, hate, evil emotions have overtaken him. When he saw Megan laugh, it sent him over the edge, he was tempted to swing at Chris, he was so angry, the fact that wiggling himself out of the bear hug wasn't helping him calm down either. He continued to struggle for a minute or two, refusing to accept that he lost, he eventually gave up, "Chris...please...let go," He asked lowly, obviously calm.

Chris let out a sigh, freeing Josh, "You really can't explode like this, it's not like it's a BAD thing that you love another guy, or is it to you?" Chris asked, stepping back showing that he 'hurt', "You think it's wrong?" He asked. Chris gave him a lifeless stare, he was just shocked, in the worst way possible. He saw Josh's face go wide-eyed in an instant.

When Josh heard this, he felt like a monster, "No that's not what I meant!" He moaned shaking his head side to side. He looked up a Chris, tears in his eyes, "Chris! I'm SO sorry! Please forgive me!" He pleaded, burying his face into Chris' chest. He felt like a heartless bastard.

Chris chuckled softly, "What a BABY you've become!" He lifted Josh's head gently, "This is hilarious seeing you break down like this, you haven't cried so much since I can remember," Chris slowly brought Josh's head up and kissed him, more of a peck, but still a kiss, "Get a grip will'ya?" He asked soothingly, pulling away while he stroked Josh's cheeks. Chris turned to Megan, he sighed, "What did I tell you about calling us names? I respect the way you look at people, so respect mine, please..." he asked coolly. He paused, glaring at the Ninetales, making sure she was listening, "since we're HELPING you, you should at least give us some respect, please, that's all I'm asking..." Chris said sincerely. "We're feeding you, protecting you, and all we ask for is RESPECT. Is that too much to ask?" All Chris wanted was to be friends with the bitch, so that she could at least cooperate, he guessed he couldn't be her friend so easily, what a shame.

"That doesn't mean that I can't make fun of you SOME of the time right?" she retorted with a flick of her tails. Megan couldn't get used to them kissing, or even the very idea of them bathing together, it sickened her, "You better win Chris," She said glaring at him, "I will NOT sit here will you two 'bath' in a pond that twat over there CONVENIENTLY in the forest," she said motioning to Josh. "Do you honestly believe him? I have a VERY hard time believing that, he seriously doesn't seem like the guy to trust, especially in your case," she said blushing, "He's awfully...um... 'Eager' if you want a better word for it," she said motioning to Josh. Josh glared at her, she stuck her canine tongue out at him.

Chris gave her a very loving look, "He won't win, never has never will, don't worry about THAT, you should worry about sleeping tonight if we really are THAT loud," He said chuckling. He glared at her quickly, "But seriously, DON'T make fun of us, at least not in public. I could lose my Trainer License, and if I do...that's bad," he told her. "I won't get into details," He said lowly. He turned around and eyed Josh, "What makes you think that you'll win this time? It's not like you have any new tactics or advantages," Chris said chuckling to himself. Chris always defeated Josh in sword fight, since Josh didn't use actually pokemon attacks, he just swung his arms and stuff like that. Chris assumed that it was beneath Josh use his abilities as a cheap way to win. Chris walked over to his backpack and reached for the wooden swords in the bag.

Josh laughed, Chris was SO wrong, Josh had a MUCH greater motive to win than all the other times they fought put together. Most of the matches were for the last piece of bread at dinner or something, yes that was valuable...but this time, it was for something even MORE valuable, for their relationship, in Josh's eyes anyways. Chris and Josh usually bathed together when they were younger, much younger, as in toddlers younger, it wasn't anything special. As Chris got older he dumped the idea of bathing together, Chris told him at that time that he wasn't interested anymore, even though Josh knew it was obviously because Chris was more self aware and embarrassed. Josh couldn't really remember the last time they bathed together, he had a far greater reason to win this time, and was determined to prevail.

Chris was surprised, there was something new about Josh this time, he looked ACTUALLY confident, Josh usually moaned and groaned at there sparing matches, assuming he would always lose. He decided to toy with Josh's new attitude. Chris suddenly burst into a hearty laugh, "You know what? I want to try something I've always wanted to try. I'll tell you what I won't use my swords this time, instead I'll use my hands," He announced putting his swords back into the backpack. "Since you're so friggin' cocky, I should put you in your place," Chris said confidently, zipping up the backpack.

Josh's faced turned sour, infuriated, he glared at Chris, "What makes you think that you'll win this time?" He asked mockingly, with a high pitch voice. He stuck his tongue out at Chris.

"Magic," Chris stated with a wide grin.

Josh gave him a playful, "So Dumbledore is going to just walk in and save you, right?" he asked.

"Yes!" Chris exclaimed with an awkward grin, stretching out. "Alright, get ready to lose Josh, again." Chris stated with a smirk.

"Fuck you!" Josh yelled, "It's gonna be different this time Chris!" Josh insisted.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Ending Notes:~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Yeah, since I was away for almost the entire summer, I decided to make something a step up from what I've previously written, so I hope you enjoyed that.
And yeah...there is potential for comedy and other things if Josh wins, but if I was reading that, that'd be really predictable, so I don't know what to pick >.<
Sorry again about the long wait, I'll try to get more up from now on, but don't count on it :/
Just to be on the safe side...
All of the references of anything in this part are not owned by me blah blah blah Bill Withers, Dumbledore, etc etc.
