Renamon's Secret Love: Chapter IV - The finale
A note from Kitsukami: Okay, I know, I know... it's been YEARS since I uploaded anything. I'm surprised people are still watching me, and people are even still reading the other chapters. I feel that I owe it to everyone to upload the final chapter. I haven't changed it any, and I might be making a re-write of this story... I was very inexperienced when I wrote it.

Both Rika and Renamon bolted quickly to the window. A large creature could be seen in the distance through the clearing dust of a fallen building.
"Rika, is that...?" Renamon started.
Rika nodded, not taking her eyes away from the ravaging beast. It was Rasenebimon, A newly created serpent like beast that had recently escaped fom the digital world.
"I can't let this monstrosity destroy the city." Renamon muttered. She gave Rika a light kiss on the lips, then moved near the window.
"Kohenkyo!" She shouted,, causing a burst of wind and leaves to swirl around her. She began to fade.
"Renamon!" She shouted after her, "Renamon don't leave without me!" She said, jumping into the wirlwnd herself, clutchin her dear Renamon. Suddenly, they were in front of the monstrous creature. Renamon took hold of Rika protectively.
"Rika, what are you doing!?
"Please! Please don't fight it. We need the others first!"
Renamon looked down to Rika. She understood what she meant. With a monster of this size and power, it would be best to wait for the others. But she didn't have time. She had to act quickly before the entre city was destroyed.
"I have to fight it. I'm sure the others are already on their way, so I'll take care of it until they get here, alright?" Renamon said, still looking to her love.
"Renamon, I can't risk losing you again!" Rika cried, burying her head in Renamon's chest, clinging to her for dear life.
"I'm sorry Rika." She said, pulling her off and giving her a light kiss before teleporting her back to her house. She looked back to the rampaging digimon before her. "Alright, time to get to business. Diamond Storm!" She shouted as a multitude of bright yellow shards appeared in front of her, flying towards Ransenhebimon. As the diamonds made contact, the beast shrieked in pain. It turned to her and lunged forward with great speed, it's jaws open and ready to attack. Though it's movements were very fast, Renamon's were much faster, and she dodged the strike with ease. She shot another barrage of diamonds at its back. Another shriek of pain. As she landed on the beast's back, she ran up to the top of it's head, plunging her claws deep into Rasenhebimon's skin. The monster collapsed as she removed the Dark Gear that had powered its evil behavior. As the gargantuan beast lay unmoving, Renamon leaped from it, holding the gear tightly in her paw. At that very moment, Rika could be seen running down the street to where the fight had ended.
"See? I'm fine." Renamon said happily to Rika, holding up the dark gear. Rika smiled.
"I'm very glad that you weren't hurt, my love."Rika blushed, leaning in for a kiss. She stopped mid-way, and pointed to the spot in back of Renamon. "Rena, watch out!!" She screamed as she saw the incoming serpent's tail make contact. It impaled Renamon quickly, then removied itself as the beast desintegrated. Renamon fell to her knees, blood spurting from her mouth as she coughed.
"RENAMON!!!" Rika screamed, running to renamon's side with tears streaming from her eyes. Renamon looked to Rika while she lay in her arms. The pain was shown clearly in Renamon's face, though she tried to mask it as much as she could. She held a paw out, touching Rika's cheek softly, running it down her beautiful face.
"I... I'm s-sorry..." Renamon gasped weakly, blood still trailing from her mouth as she spoke, her other paw clutching her abdomen tightly.
"Renamon! Renamon, you'll be okay! The others should be here soon! They'll help!" Rika cried, a sound of desperation in her voice. Renamon smiled as a tear ran from one of her eyes.
"Are.... you...... m-mad....?" Renamon asked faintly, still struggling with speech.
"No Rena! I'm not mad. I love you, don't die on me!!" She said, her sobgs growing heavier.
"I love... you too... But it looks like its.... time for me to..... to go...." Renamon smiled again. "I will always love y-you... Remember that."
And with those last words having been spoken, Renamon's last bit of life had left her, and her particles dispersed into shimmering bits of digital matter, leaving only her digivice behind.

When Rika got home, she held the digivice close to her chest and cried. She was all alone. She examined the digivice's screen. Suddnely, she stopped crying. A thud could be heard as the digivice fell to the ground.
"I understand... I'm not alone, Rena..." She whispered to herself. She looked down at her own figure, placing both hands on her tummy."I'm not alone."
DIGIVICE SCREEN:
"Take care of our child"

_ Remember, this was the ORIGINAL ending. It's very short, and that's why I wasn't able to upload it so long ago. I'm confident that I can make the story much better in the future, and of course longer. I'm a much better writer now. I greatly apologize to everyone that has been waiting for so long to read the ending of this tragic story, but I appreciate my fans more than you'll ever know! Remember to check out my new account! _
