I'm driving down the highway.
I don't know exactly where I am, but everything seems familiar. The smell of rock dust and sagebrush, the landscape, the traces of sunset at the edge of the sky even late at night. Wherever I am, I'm not far from home.
I don't feel lost.
Except as soon as I think that, I realize I don't know where I'm going. Or why. I don't remember starting this trip. I remember I finished work, I drove home, I made myself eat something.
I jerked off and cried.
...you know. The usual.
And then what? Did I fall asleep? Is this a dream? I really hope so, because there are other possibilities. They would all be really bad.
Maybe it'll turn out to be a good dream.
Probably not. But it can happen.
