#3 of The Fallen Goddess

Drake awoke slightly afraid that his newest mate wouldn't be curled up in his arms. A wave of tranquility washed over him, as she awoke with him.

"I love you." Drake tenderly touched her warm body, which curled up closer to him in response.

'You're the first person who treated me kindly, most," Her eyes found his, "would rather pretend I didn't exist."

Flirtingly with a hint of affection, she ran her tail against his face as she exited the bed, "I'm ready to go look for that 'friend' of yours. Solthas."

She brought his shirt and sword to him. "I have your sword but as for your shirt." She displayed it to him. The stains of rotted flesh and holes from the bite marks were overtly apparent, and strangely, some places were charred black as if by fire.

"So I guess your saying I have to run half nude through a dead-infested forest." He said humorously.

She smiled, lacing up her robe. "You can use one of my bigger set of robes."

"THUMP!" One of the Undead began to assault the front door.

She chuckled, "Damn, those things are so stupid."

Drake finally got to see the other room that Sarnas had spent most of her time in. Test tubes, plants, telescopes, Bookshelves twice the height of Drake, this room was stocked with everything he imagined would be in a real Mage's lab, that is, if they existed. He wasn't quite sure if she actually could do what she said she could. Magic? That's hard for anybody to believe, but since he had seen just about everything he thought that wasn't possible, he was willing to give this 'Magic' a chance.

"THUMP!" The Undead outside began to get impatient.

"The robes are over there," She pointed to one of the armoires. "Pick which ever one you want."

She watched him put on the robe, replaying the night's events. He followed her to the door. "Any idea on how to get out with out getting killed?"

"Yeah," She picked up the steel staff that sat near the front door. "Like I always do."

Cautiously she looked out the window, then She threw open the door. The undead was no more than a foot away from her, its teeth bared and closing in on her. She lifted the staff in the air and jammed it down with a sickening crack upon the top of the Undead's head. It collapsed in a pile of its dead decaying flesh that had been knocked off as it hit the door.

"Watch your step!" She exclaimed, pushing its limp body out. "And don't drag the robe through it."

Drake lifted the robe and jumped over the putrid carcass of flesh, hoping that he wouldn't find Solthas like this. She closed the door, shrugging off the encounter with the Undead. "Where to first?"

"The road was where I last saw his tracks."

"Yeah, the Undead like to do that. I've watched them chase travelers before, usually I don't intervene if they're well armed or aren't in danger of being the Undead's meal. Sometimes it's quite funny."

Drake saw the image of an Undead shambling along, chasing after a merchant and found it somewhat humorous. It was an entertaining thing to think about as they walked along, and it kept out the worry that the next clumsy Undead would be Solthas. Within minutes the forest cleared and they came upon the road. Retracing his steps, Drake quickly found Solthas's trail again, and they proceeded through the forest mostly unbothered by the undead. Sarnas said that it was weird that they were avoiding them; normally the undead aren't that smart...

The tracks ended near a cliff edge. Blood laid upon the ground, sending waves of chills down Drake's spine.

"It looks like he put up quite a fight." She said nonchalantly, "But none of this blood likely could be his."

The chills stopped. "How do you know that?"

"This blood's congealed to the point that it had to be aging for weeks, but judging by the tracks I'd say -"

A moan called their attention away from analyzing the scene, but it wasn't Solthas's. There were several undead around them. Drake guessed 7-8 roughly. It was an ambush.

Sarnas extended her hand out and pointed at the nearest undead with her index and middle finger. "Sha'reka" She muttered softly.

Drake was too busy preparing for the Undead on his side to notice. Although he did hear the cracking of a skull behind him, he was too busy lobbing off the head of one of the undead. The loss of their companions caused the Undead to frenzy. Drake easily took two more out, although the third came extremely close to biting him when he couldn't rebound fast enough. He turned to help Sarnas only to discover that they all laid dead and she hadn't even used her staff. Each one of them had a perfectly round hole in their forehead about an inch big.

"Let me guess," He said slightly agitated, "Magic, right?"

She laughed, "How else do you explain them all dead?"

"Next time tell me when you're going to do it so I can sit down and let you do everything." He replied with a hint of sarcasm.

"This isn't normal for them." She continued, surprised. "Normally, they can barely function, but planning an ambush?"

Drake got on his knees and peered over the cliff edge. "Yeah... Strange..." His mate, fearing he would fall, wrapped her tail around his leg. The dark waters below crashed against the cliff violently; even from such a high height, Drake could see the powerful undercurrent. The water seemed to reach up for him, wanting to drag him under. Solthas obviously thought he could make and didn't.

"Damn it," He uttered softly, his voice suffocated by sadness.

Sarnas's tail squeezed gently. "He could still be alive."

Drake looked up to her, "Then he would've swum to shore and found me."

She could see the loss that Drake had in his eyes. "Where was Solthas going to take you?"

"We were thinking about going to the Capital."

"Then that's were we will go." She said confidently trying to cheer him up, "I'm sure we can find some use for ourselves there. Let me go ward up my house first. If these undead are beginning to think and plan, then I don't imagine that it's safe here anymore."

Drake smiled and nodded, thinking about how happy he was to have her. He tried to bury Solthas from his mind on the way back. Somehow, he just wouldn't go away.

Her books, some herbs, a crystal here and there, as she packed Drake thumbed through one of her books. It was strange how it was written, talked about uttering something and hand symbols that would probably only be possible on the most flexible of hands. When Sarnas left the room, Drake attempted at using one of the easier looking spells, -- he failed miserably. This added to his dreary mood as he closed the dusty tome.

He found a book that piqued his interest; a translated explanation of Lizardsfolk and their behavior pattern. Most of it wasn't particularly interesting, until he read the part about sexuality... He learned quite a lot about the Lizardfolk that he had no idea about nor would he ever have. Their sexual habits were 'polite', he guessed. They often licked each other's sex, usually only between lovers though. He heard Sarnas coming, and he stuffed it away, and went back to the boring tome.

Sarnas kissed him, sliding her serpent tongue into his mouth, and entwining around his tongue. She held for sometime until she removed her lips, "I think I want to mark you as my own, again." She pinned him against one of the bookshelves, showing off the natural strength that her kind possessed. She knew it impressed him. Easily, she pulled out the string holding his robe on. She rubbed him gently, her hand finding his cock quickly. Her hand trailed up his shaft to the head. It was throbbing full of blood. Sliding his pants down easily, she took him into her mouth. His warm smooth member made her curious to what his cum tasted like. Her tail wrapped around his leg as she began to suck. Gracefully, her mouth glided up his shaft. She moved faster and faster building his orgasm, she swallowed the pre-cum dribbling into her mouth. It had no really definable taste.

Easily, she slid her robe off showing herself to him. Her tail pulled at his knee joint, urging him to get on his knees which he quickly did wanting her to continue. She licked the pre that had come out while her mouth wasn't on it, looking at an intensely interested Drake. She stroked her hand up his cock, making sure to rub the valley of his head. Drake moaned in pleasure, his mind concentrated only on her--how she liked it.

She leaned back on her left arm, as she played with herself in front of him. She moaned as she thrusted her finger into herself, playing with her warm juices. Drake wanted to cum in her again, and she knew it. She moved closer, wetting his sack with the juices on her finger.

She caressed his sex against her soaked slit, hornier than ever. She found herself upon his lap her legs squeezing him from the back, and her tail hiding their passion. She lowered herself, dipping his head into her pink slit. She adjusted, and then slid down his member. He went deeper and deeper than ever before, she let out a deep growl of pleasure. She began to squeeze around his head and shaft, before pulling up. She continued the slow thrusts, quickening with each one. Drake was overpowered, delighting in her sex. She felt it about to hit, she enjoyed watching him moan as her cum ran down his sack. She gasped as her sweet juice ran down; he followed blowing his load effortlessly.

"I bet you're in a better mood," She grinned, particularly happy with him. "Now that I've got your juices."

She bent over to pick up her robe--Drake seized her tail and ran his tongue along her slit, cleaning her in one run. "I thought that book would catch your attention, Drake."

She simply smiled, and dressed. She was the last one to the leave the house, warding it against the undead. They were heading to the Capital.
