The three were not sure what to make of this.

"If these cause any trouble for you, you know who to tell" Charizard said.

The three left the pirate crew and Shuckle at the shop.

"Are you really sure about this? I mean, we just let a pirate crew loose on Shuckle, he could be tortured right there" Lucario said.

"Well... We fulfilled our end of the bargain, maybe we could get the ship as a reward? We did go through all this trouble" Jolteon asked them.

"Pffft, like you know how to captain a ship. We're lucky we even managed to force them to drive the ship back here" Charizard said as they returned to the guild.

Meanwhile in the guild leader's quarters...

The four swords leaders were in their room, still playing the board game that they got from Eevee.

"Oh god... Why am I so bad at this game! This is rigged! It has to be!" Said Cobalion as he rolled a 3.

"Maybe if you were less of a grump, the game would like you more" Virizion chuckled.

"This is so much fun! Maybe I should be the leader of the party" Keldeo said as he rolled a 13, killing another one of Terrakion's made-up monsters.

"Gotta say, it's interesting to be the game master now" Terrakion said.

As they played, something was plaguing Cobalion's mind as he brought it up to Virizion.

"Should we worry about what that Venusaur told us?" Cobalion asked Virizion.

Virizion looked up at him seriously.

"I doubt it... Though I guess we have to be more cautious, if we find out more, we could find out what he actually meant by 'our days being numbered' " Said Virizion.

Cobalion wasn't too sure of himself, but Venusaur was transferred to the two kings guild for more interrogation, that is, if he knew more than he revealed already. They didn't know what they were dealing with but there was no reason to be worried, at least not yet, until they got concrete evidence, there was no need to get the other guild members worried.

Later in the guild hall...

"Ugh, Cobalion's become obsessed with getting better at the board game than I did, now we have nothing to play with" Jolteon said as they sat bored in their room.

"Hey, at least you won't feel frustrated anymore about being bad at it" Charizard laughed.

"Yeah, who knows, you might be as obsessed as Cobalion was if you had kept playing" Said Lucario as he joined Charizard in his laughter, making Jolteon furious.

A knock came to their door as Eevee opened it.

"Mail for you guys!" Said Eevee said as the twinky pokemorph gave them the letter.

The letter read:

Thank you so much Lucario, Jolteon and Charizard. Shuckle has decided to join the guild knowing that you guys are strong, I may be a shopkeep but I have to be strong and be able to defend my own business. So until Shuckle is the strongest Shuckle in the world, he will be adventuring with you guys! Once Shuckle gives the crew the basics of making his wine, he will be delivering some to you guys once he arrives and partner his store with the guild's profits by 5%. Blastoise is not such a bad guy once Shuckle got to know him, Shuckle is sure his store will be in good hands once he joins, Shuckle entrusted this letter with 50,000 poke, 10,000 of which is entrusted to you guys. Shuckle is excited to work with you guys"

"Whoa! 10,000... That's so much..." Said Lucario as he saw that there were indeed 10,000 poke in the envelope.

"Alright, time to split it!" Charizard said.

Lucario and Jolteon looked at each other, then turned toward Charizard.

"We've been thinking Charizard..." Lucario began.

"You should have half of this" Jolteon said.

"...Huh?" Charizard said in confusion.

"We didn't really consider your opinions, so can you take this poke as apologies for us ignoring your concerns?" Lucario asked him.

Charizard was taken aback by this, deeply touched.

"Guys... I don't know what to say..." Charizard said as he took the 5,000 poke, while Lucario and Jolteon split it the remaining 5000 poke to themselves.

Their weapons glowed as Lucario's gauntlet grew longer, he felt... Stronger and more comfortable with it. Jolteon's weapon glowed and split into two, giving him two weapons to use and shoot twice as much faster. Charizard's flame sword became longer, and sharper looking, obtaining a much more dangerous design, the blade having a more serrated edge, and the flames grew much brighter than ever before as he touched it.

"Whoa... Is this... What Pangoro meant when he said there was much more to our weapons than we think...?" Lucario said, stretching his gloved hand.

"This is so cool, I can solve twice as many problems than before with these babies!" Jolteon said excitedly.

"Heh... I guess our efforts paid off after all" Charizard said.

The three's dilemma still wasn't solved as they were still bored.

"Wanna go buy another copy of the board game?" Lucario asked them.

The two nodded, as they left the room, and went off to find a board game or something similar to keep them entertained while there were no guild job's available yet.
