Art trade for StalkerPrime. I had fun with it and his character.

This time it's a story about wolf who was invited for a feast of his life. Enjoy.

"It can't be the right place, can't it?"

A pretty large and rounded up figure was now standing in the dark alley, following the directions to the letter. Literally, the one he got this very morning, swidden through the mailbox indoor of his house. He took it out from the back pocket of his rather wide jeans and started it reading for the third time today.

Dear Mister.

We chose you from many of our clients to take part in our monthly event to test our newest pastry products. We are thanking you for being such a great customer and we're awaiting your arrival. Down below you'll find the exact address and attached map with directions. Please join us at 8:00 tonight.

Have a tasty afternoon.

Y.

After reading, it didn't clear up anything for him. There wasn't even a name of this business where he was supposedly the best client. Also... Mister? Mizu was buying his snacks from many places and in each of them, they would consider him a frequent patron, since his hunger was often almost immeasurable.

He raised his head to look at the shop again. A tilted sign with stereotypical fat baker was staring back at him with an unsettling smile and sad, soulless eyes. Custard's Delight, which was the name of this probably abandoned bakery, wasn't familiar to him at all. Wolf expected he could be a client of this branch, but it was probably the only one. But then, out of a sudden, a loud and long growl sounded in this empty place.

The bottomless pit, which was his stomach, verbally demanded to be filled with anything sweet, then maybe something salty and savory, before getting sugar again and being washed with hot chocolate or other tasty, unhealthy beverage.

Mizu stopped thinking and immediately opened the door to the empty shop. Bell ringed loudly, filling an ominous place with a glimmer of hope, although it needed much more than that. The empty shelves were like sights from his worst nightmares, filled with hunger and sadness. Behind the glass of the counter wasn't a single crumb of pie, cake, or even a cinnamon roll. Was it a prank?

Wolf was a big boy, so he didn't cry, but his soul was now just empty, like his belly. A soft whimper escaped from his maw, just before a door opened at the end of the abandoned room. Bright light slowly filled the haunting place of broken, unbaked promises with sounds of footwear. A stereotypical, round builder baker, just like painted on the sign outside, cleaned his own hands with a rag.

Seven feet tall, the dark brown bear gave him a judgmental look, like he saw a burglar or beggar. But suddenly his furry face brightened with a wide smile, warm like a fresh sweet roll. Was it he who invited Mizu? The wolf just stood there, not understanding the whole situation he was currently in. He still thought it was all a prank. A terrible one, that is.

"Ah, welcome. You must be the guy my daughter was talking about. We know that you're a gourmet enthusiast who is just dying to try our latest culinary inventions. Pardon for the mess, but we're going to clean this all up once we'll be ready for grand re-opening..." the bear answered to some unspoken questions.

Wolf took a moment and looked closer at the strange host. If not for the giant belly, outlined under the flour-coated apron, he could pass for a bodybuilder. Maybe a strongman. His one-size too small shirt made his arm muscles bulging out, probably able to lift massive weights around her, pushing them around with ease. He looked like a giant, cuddly bear. A model for plushy versions.

Mizu was still under high suspicion. His daughter? That made little sense since he didn't speak to any woman or girl besides his friends and acquaintances. And re-opening? He knew every bakery and other food establishments in this entire city. He would know about it too. But being complimented lowered his guard. Plus, his bottomless bag remembered them both about its existence, growling once more, singing its rumbly song. Before the wolf could even open his maw, the bear laughed coarsely.

"Now, now. We didn't even start yet. Please, come downstairs and start with our little feast, then tell us what you like, love, and what we should improve on. But I promise you that, you wouldn't want to leave once you taste them at least once..." the massive baker raised his arm and showed the door leading down below.

Pastry canine lover was fighting with himself and his never ending hunger. While he entered here, it was filled with red flags all over the place, but this person explained everything on why it looked that way. He started sensing a mesmerizing smell emanating from behind the bear and from himself. A mixture of vanilla, chocolate, and... was that strawberry jam? He had to make sure, almost passing out from an overwhelming plethora of unfamiliar smells.

"It's Mizu..." he stated, coming closer to the muscular baker, raising his hand in greeting. The bear swiftly grasped it and shook it firmly, almost crushing his knuckles. Seeing a grimace of pain on the canine's face, he released him from the titanic grip.

"My apologies. I often forget how strong I am. Now come, come, since it's still everything warm and fresh. And call me Bud." He said, patting Mizu's shoulder, this time trying to be gentle. The wolf smiled back in a rather awkward, nervous way, but came along. Down the stairs behind the door.

Following the baker, the smell grew stronger and stronger, causing the wolf to drool unconsciously, feeling slightly painful cramps in his stomach area. It was like going to the dream world, where he could get any delicious snack he could ever imagine, filled with love and never-ending pleasure.

Both of them felt increased warmth while entering the basement. The sight exceeded every wolf's expectations. Without exaggerating.

The first thing he saw was a giant table for at least twenty people, but only with one chair at the end. While being massive, there was still a possibility of breaking itself under all the weight they put on it. Several many-layered cake like for the wedding, coated with thick vanilla and chocolate icing. Plates with pyramids of cream-filled doughnuts and regular ones with tiny holes in them. Eclairs almost bursting with creamy goodness, sprinkled with brown sugar. Gigantic glass jar with sugar cookies, baked to perfection. And also a dozen of pies, each with different filling.

Heaven.

A tiny figure in an apron and pristine white hat worked in the corner, between several stoves and counters, giving a last loving touch on chocolate fudge muffins she just prepared. Each of those dark goods got equal love, having equal pieces of chocolate on them.

The female was much smaller than another baker, despite being the same species. She had a petite figure, looking almost comical next to a giant, furry bear. Not looking at any of them, like not noticing their arrival, she placed the tray next to puffed up doughnuts, before finally raising her light brown head. They had to be related somehow, since her smile was even warmer, capable of melting even the coldest of hearts.

"My lovely wife. She told me everything about you, about your genuine love for pastries and sweets. That's why we've chosen you, my friend. My wife, you and I will shake up this industry!" He laughed once more, patting a bit too hard on the wolf's shoulder, making him almost fall over. While he should be concerned about their admitting to stalking, he had much more important things to do. Calming down his groaning, empty belly.

"Oh, where're my manners? You must be starving. Please, please. Sit down and enjoy, while we'll do everything that you'll not leave. Hungry, that is..." he added, while the smile on his wife's face didn't even flinch. And Bud did all the talking. Probably he was the one who handled all the customers as well, while she did most of the actual work.

When the smaller baker moved the chair for the wolf, he sat down heavily, placing his already handful button it. It made a slight cracking sound, but he hoped that it would not break soon.

"Yes, a gourmet enthusiast indeed. But that's fine, nobody will judge you here, since we all do it out of love for food. Some people make it and some have to, of course, eat it. And I'm happy that we have all the ingredients to that happiness..." Bud continued while cutting an enormous slice of nearby cake, while hardened frosting crumbled a bit. It was almost half of the smallest top layer. He placed it on the wolf's plate with a soft thud.

Mizu looked for a dessert fork, but he didn't find any. And judging by his hosts, they didn't even bother to bring one. He couldn't even find a regular one or a spoon. Not wanting to upset any of them and because of his ever-growing hunger, he placed his hand at the edge of the large slice and lifted it. It was heavier than he expected, being full of cream, jam, and jellied fruits. Wolf took a confident bite, while a mix of well-combined tastes attacked his taste buds. He couldn't believe how good it was.

The sensation was divine, like he tasted ambrosia for gods themselves. A couple of bakers looked at each other with proud smiles on their furry muzzles while hearing moans of delight coming from the wolf's maw. Some of the cream and jelly dropped on the tablecloth, but no one cared. As long as Mizu was happy, and that was an understatement, nothing else really mattered.

After he was finally done with that massive piece, he wanted more. He needed more. He looked almost savage, like a feral creature who tasted blood. At this very moment, he took the cake shovel and sliced, no, forcefully parted the lowest layer of the cake, almost destroying it. Pair of bears shared rather surprised looks, before observing the hungry wolf, who was currently shoving the sweet pastry into his maw.

"Hey there, buddy. There's no rush. But I'm in such joy, that you like it so far, my friend..." he said, now wondering if that gigantic feast they prepared for him was even nearly enough. But they had to wait and see.

A normal mortal wouldn't even think about eating a single, typical wedding cake in one sitting. But apparently, it wasn't a normal wolf or a normal hunger. While using only his bare paws, he shredded the rest of the sugary tower and ate the remains, like it was nothing. But he just had to continue his rampage.

While bear marriage started baking more goods for their starving guest, he changed his attack target, choosing one of the pies. Mizu used one of his cream coated paws like a giant spoon, digging deep into the dessert, taking out the fruity contents, and putting them down his maw. After that, he dug out the rest with his tongue, licking off the tray until the pie was in.

When one baker turned back, was astonished how quickly the wolf ate half of the pies already, now taking a so-called break, picking the doughnuts. Good, they had more time now to replenish the pies before he could completely devour the rest of the sweets.

Wolf didn't notice it yet, but he gained weight. The chair he was on barely held up all that extra weight. The fat rolls looked bigger. Some of them were new. But like some people say, more men to love and cuddle.

While Mizu cleared the bowl of puffy, sweet, and round snacks full of jam, his attention turned to a jar of cookies. He opened it and raised it to his maw. They could see how the contents just slid down his wide opened maw, like a giant blue whale, swallowing all the fish nearby. But it still wasn't enough.

The massive table had better days, now full of spilled cream, jam, and crumbs, not to mention empty trays and plates. Like a hurricane just came through here, but apparently, it was just one starved wolf who just didn't have enough, already eating warm pies, just made by the furry bakers. He didn't even notice when the chair finally broke down, using his massive tush as support.

And then, the inevitable happened. They run out of the ingredients.

"I'm sorry, little buddy, but I have to go for more flour. And sugar. Well, everything. But don't go anywhere, alright? I'll be back soon..." Bud said, but something was off. Mizu was staring with even more hunger in his darkened eyes, now looking at petite bear paws, coated in cream.

With no warning, the wolf grasped her by both arms and pulled her much closer, placing paws near his maw, licking off all that still sweet frosting from each of the fingers and palms. Bud's wife didn't even squeak, paralyzed in such shock and fear of being devoured by that giant beast.

Mizu used the entire strength to have more of that taste, which he never had before. A mix of sweetness coming from all that frosting and some salt, from sweat, dripping out of fear. He didn't want to hurt her, just to have a little more. Just a little more. But before he could even look, she was already inside his maw, down to her shoulders and head. They could feel a hard tug when Bud tried to pull back his wife from the hungry beast. But fear of starvation was apparently stronger than the possibility of being consumed.

The giant blob of a wolf used inner muscles to swallow a smaller bear, who just slid down his giant belly, still full of pastries she just made with love to bake, love to her guests. Wolf groaned in delight, finally feeling almost full and fulfilled. But the enormous bear was still holding his wife's legs while already in Mizu's maw, feeling warm tongue slowly rubbing against his tight muscles.

Wolf used his arms to push his host down his throat, murmuring in such delight, tasting his last meal. Wolf groaned and patted his now gargantuan belly, feeling how the second bear entered it, filling it. He could feel their movement, but it wasn't important. The hunger ended, and he was finally happy.

How will he leave this place now?
