A preview of my upcoming Story An Incident at Clindale. This section is purely of a police report which will lead to a more traditional story in the main. Feedback greatly appreciated.

The following case you are about to see is real. Names have been changed to protect the victims.

Federal Bureau of Paranormal Investigation

Dractonis County Sheriff Department

My name is Sgt. Marcus Johnson. I was assigned the Clindale case. These are my findings. On 28 October a call came in concerning a missing person. An 18 year old male named Eric Haskins. A young Fox, He had last been seen during a family outing at Clindale lake, roughly 1½ miles from the town of the same name. It was initially believed he had fallen into the water, and he had drowned. As such a recovery mission was ordered. During the mission, Mr. Haskins' swimsuit, tank top, and sandals were found piled on the bank of the Lake, roughly 2500 feet from his last known location.

The following evening on 29 October a boat of searchers also went missing overnight. Like Mr. Haskins the crew,

David Stephens 24 M Raccoon

Christian Lorne 18 M Beagle

Jacob Lorne 19 M Beagle

Kevin Lorne 22 M Beagle

And Joseph Flagg 62 M Lion

Had all disappeared during heavy Traffic to the lake. Their boat was discovered afloat with all clothing and personal effects including clothing, keys, wallets, and various expensive radar and searching equipment still aboard. The engine was still active when the boat was discovered. This time a witness had seen another boat pulled alongside the Mermaid's Sigh Roughly 30 minutes before the boat was discovered afloat. Though they were unable to give a detailed account of the occupants of the 2nd boat, they did confirm seeing two of the three Brothers Jacob and Christian Lorne aboard the Mermaid's Sigh at the time.

On 2nd November another Male

Harold Nash (32 Ox) Went missing in the forest near the lake as part of a hunting Party. Like the others his hunting clothing was found piled up next to a tree with his Rifle, knife and Pack layed next to them. He was discovered 8 hours after the call came in by Cpt Andrew King of The Clindale police department, roughly Several miles from the last known location. This is an excerpt from his investigative interview:

Cpt King: I was driving My cruiser down 27th and Main, and made the turn near the Forest. Roughly a mile up Carson road He stumbled out of the Forest. I lit him up with my Spotlight.

[Redacted]: Did anything seem strange at the time about him?

Cpt King: Beyond being naked and having an erection?

Cpt King: He seemed.. not all there...

[Redacted]: You mean.. insane?

Cpt. King: No.. everything he said was in a deadpan voice, his stare was totally blank.. it was like his mind was... erased.

(SOUND OF LAUGHTER)

Cpt. King: You don't believe me? Look, I get it, it sounds absurd, but he doesn't remember ANYTHING. I'd like to know what you'd like to call it...

Cpt. King was very much adamant in his Mind erasure theory. He was however correct. Mr. Nash was completely unable to remember The previous 12 hours. His last memory was of tracking a deer that morning. He remembered aiming at the deer then finding himself Naked and aroused in the back of Cpt. King's cruiser. At that point he'd become very agitated and though he couldn't explain why felt compelled to return to the woods, citing intense anxiety the farther he got from the forest.

On 31 October, Joseph Flagg was found deceased a mile from where Mr Nash had been found. His body had been adorned in various flowers including Roses, lillys, violets, and various other native plants and surrounded by rare native stones. He was nude, covered in semen and had shown signs of having had anal intercourse at some point before his death. His official cause of death was a heart attack brought on by over exertion. A DNA test run on the semen found on and inside of Mr Flagg revealed traces of DNA of all the missing Crewmen, though after an extended period of searching no sign of them was discovered.

On 12-15 February Two men went missing.

Alexander Greene, M 21 Wolf

And Edward Ryker, M 20 Dragon

Had gone on a camping trip. They were slated to return on 15 February, however neither returned.

On 19 February Mr Greene and Mr Ryker, as Well as Mr. Haskins' were all found on the bank of the Lake. Each was Completely naked, and bore signs of multiple Sexual assaults. In Mr. Greene's case he had also received a scar from what appeared to be a dragon mating bite. Further investigation revealed that Mr. Ryker had indeed given the mark to Mr. Greene.

Mr. Haskins was unable to explain where he had been, but his body was adorned in various scratches, cuts and bruises. His fur was covered in twigs, dirt and dead leaves, he was however well fed. Like Mr. Flagg, he also bore signs of Sexual Assault, however no foreign DNA was discovered on or in him.

A bit of something different here. As the preview shows it will begin with a Police report style before revealing what happened later. Let me know what you think about the idea, it's something I wanted to you with, and I think it's going to work out in the end. If you guys like it, maybe I'll turn the Paranormal Investigation setup into a series.
