============

He woke up in a tunnel, in human form and dressed. He had no idea what was going on, and stood up to look at his surroundings. There were lights at each end of the tunnel, and someone standing at each end. His parents were at one end, and Myra at the other. Michael saw a figure attack Myra and started running to her, wanting to protect and help her. He could hear her screaming his name. He got closer and was suddenly pulled back by his parents. They grabbed him and started walking away from Myra and her attacker. Michael fought and broke free from his parents, running to Myra again. The figure pulled out a knife, Michael didn't see the shape but knew it to be a knife. He ran to Myra but his parents pulled him back again. He ran with all his might but didn't reach Myra. The figure cut her throat and she fell to her knees screaming his name. As he got closer, it seemed that her voice was getting quieter. He was 20 metres away when he hit the wall and broke through it, Myra and the figure disappearing.

He broke into his primary school, although there were no children there. The classroom was empty and there was no sign of life. The windows were broken and there were bits of paper flying around but Michael felt no wind. One paper was firmly kept on the desk. Michael walked to it and saw that it was being drawn on, by no one. He watched as the picture drew itself, then when Michael sat down on the chair, it stopped. Michael saw that there was a pencil on the desk and picked it up, looking at it. There was no roof to the school and the corridor was partially collapsed, but in the classroom, Michael sat at a table, drawing with the pencil. He poured his heart out onto the paper, drawing what he felt like. Although his drawing skills were gone, he didn't care. He drew him in human form and Myra as stick people, standing outside a badly drawn cave that had a sign over it. The sign read: "Home is where you are with your friends." Michael put the pencil down and the paper and pencil vanished, leaving a rotting desk.

He walked into the corridor and was saw a little boy standing at the door to the gym. The boy ran into the gym and Michael chased the boy. When Michael caught the boy, he recognised it to be himself, aged 12. Michael was looking at a younger version of himself, "Hello?"

"Home is where you are with your friends. Are we home yet?"

"I don't know. Where are we?"

"Not home. I want to go home." The boy looked at his feet, "Can you take me home?"

"Who are you?"

"I'm not home."

"Who are you? Not where are you."

"I'm you silly."

Michael got on his knees and looked at the boy, "Where are we, Michael?"

"Mikey."

Michael cleared his throat and started again, "Where are we Mikey?"

"School. Don't you remember? Its lunchtime. I have chicken salad for lunch. What do you have?"

Michael looked around and stood up again, "Can you lead me to the lunch lady?"

The boy looked up, "No. The lunch lady isn't in. Someone else is there instead."

Michael smiled as the boy took his hand, "Good. Lead me to the other lunch lady."

The boy led Michael through corridors he didn't recognise and they eventually reached the canteen, which was in perfect condition. Michael looked behind him and saw the ruins of the school then looked at his younger self, "Can you get the lunch lady for me Mikey?"

"Sure!" Mikey said before he led Michael to the serving area, "Lunch lady? Where are you lunch lady?"

The lunch lady came from behind something and Michaels eyes widened, it was Myra in her human form.

"Myra! Where are we?"

"Michael. Are you home? Do you want to go home?"

"When I am with you, I am home. You are my only love and I would give up the world for you Myra."

"Are you sure? Because this looks like home to me." Myra said, holding up the drawing that Michael did. Michael looked at it and the sign had changed to "Home."

Myra looked at Mikey, "What do you want for lunch?"

"Chicken salad, please Miss Dragon."

"ok, but make sure you eat up."

Michael watched Myra give Mikey a plate with a chicken salad sandwich on it. "Would you like one mister?" Mikey asked. Michael shook his head, "Sorry. I have to go home."

Myra looked at Michael, "But I thought when you were with me, you were home?"

"I am."

"So why is this not home?"

Michael looked at the perfect canteen, sparkling like new. "Myra. I want to hold you."

"Sorry Michael. Not until you find home." Myra said as her voice slowly faded. She seemed to be getting further away. "Bye Miss Dragon!" Mikey said as he waved. He didn't have his sandwich anymore.

"Mikey. Do you know where home is?"

"No."

"Do you know who you are?"

"I am you."

"What part of me Mikey?"

"Can you take me home?"

"Sure. Which way do we go?" Michael said as he held out his hand and let Mikey take Michaels hand. The pair walked out of the canteen and out of the school, revealing an abandoned town. Mikey tugged on Michaels arm, "This way."

Mikey led Michael down alleys and roads until he came to his parents house. "This is your home?" Michael asked.

"Yes, but is it yours?" Mikey replied.

"Mine is with Myra."

"Come on. Come inside for tea. I want to show you the cake that me and mommy baked!" Mikey said pulling Michael inside. Michael looked in the front room and saw that it was exactly the way he remembered it. In the armchair was Myra who asked, "Is this home?"

Michael, not waiting for anything, strode up to Myra and kissed her. He hugged her and held her close, "This, is home."

"Welcome home Michael." Mikey said, before everything went black again. He landed in the tunnel he started in and this time it was different. There was only one exit and his parents were there. Myra was an illusion on a wall, the figure as well. The figure appeared and Michael looked at his parents, who moved out of the way to reveal a handgun, the very handgun that Michael was held up with when he was mugged. He picked it up and held it in his hands, it weighed nothing. He pointed it at the figure and fired, the bullets travelling in slow motion. The wall broke and there stood Myra in Dragon form. She looked at Michael with her green eyes and smiled, "I love you Michael, but come home."

Michael ran to Myra and kissed her, "I'm already there."

The tunnel turned into a junction and the tunnel that joined the existing one gave Michael a choice, Earth, or the spaceship. Myra started walking towards the spaceship and looked over her shoulder at Michael, who was still in the centre of the junction, and said "Come home Michael."

Michael looked at Earth one last time before jogging to Myra, and letting her lead him to the spaceship. As soon as he touched the spaceship, everything went white.
