They hinted at it, you wanted to see it, I wrote it. Antoine and Bunnie finally get the honeymoon the comic could never show. You're welcome, internet.

Bunnie had never seen so many stars in the sky, even back in the old days, before they had brought life to even a single electric light in Knothole. There, for all the lack of artificial lighting in those early, torrid days, the vast canopy of the great forest drowned out the sky at all hours. At times, it was impossible to determine exactly what time of day it was, and, she reflected, it was a wonder they all stayed sane while recovering from the shock that had left them homeless.

To venture out into the meadow, for hopes of seeing the wide-open sky meant danger, fail to mention disappointment, the looming smog from the tyrant's choked city stretching further every day, blotting out the sky even worse than the trees.

Here, on this sugar sand beach, under a full, luminous moon framed by infinite and twinkling jewels, it was easy to believe that none of that had ever happened. For all of the damage that evil ape had wrought upon her world, had this island felt any of it? What did the little crabs scurrying in and out of tidepools know of the struggles she had faced, of the friends she had lost?

She took a long, deep breath, letting the salt air fill her lungs. It was good. No, it was positively effervescent. She dug her metallic toes into the sand, imagining, and almost truly feeling, the soft, powdery sand between them. The fire, hissing, cracking and popping in a rhythm to match the crashing waves and breeze playing through the palm trees, provided a welcome sense of warmth, its orange light seeming to wrap around her like a fuzzy blanket.

She glanced down the shoreline, which seemed to stretch into infinity, letting out a sigh. This, she had to admit to herself, would not have been how she imagined her honeymoon as a little girl. But, how much of her life had actually been as she would have imagined? No, this was better than anything her young mind could have conjured. Never in her wildest dreams could she have imagined a husband that loved her so dearly, a man that would face the greatest terrors in his heart not only to save her life on more than one occasion, but just to prove to her that he was worthy of her time.

All of those old, silly fairy tales about courageous knights who feared nothing, facing colossal beasts without a second thought... Those weren't gallant heroes. No, her man was a gallant hero. He was a man who knew fear, and acted in spite of it, not because of its absence.

Where was he, anyway?

Antoine had to wonder, thinking back to the comic books he'd read as a young boy, where all of those ship wrecked castaways found so much wood to build rafts. He had been up and down nearly two kilometers of this beach in search of more firewood, and had found only scraps, most of them waterlogged.

More than once, he had to stop in his tracks, peering shakily into the tree line, wondering what sort of fantastic and dreadful beast could be lurking, hungry and heartless. Of course, he wouldn't be admitting to Bunnie that he had been startled so many times by fallen coconuts and tiny, scampering lizards.

But was that really what'd had his nerves so jangled? Even he, for all of his skittish nature, knew that this was a safe island. Tails had spent how long here, all by himself, when he was a mere child? No, that wasn't it.

What was it, then? He should be over the moon right now! The most amazing, gorgeous woman on the entire planet was his wife! Let Sonic continue to preen and strut to win the affection of that persnickety princess. Oh, he would always love Sally as a friend, but Sonic could have her in any other way as far as he was concerned. For about the thousandth time, he cursed his stupidity for not seeing that, all along, a real goddess had been right in front of him in the form of Bunnie.

No man was as lucky as he was, so why was he trembling like this?

Well, no point in debating it, may as well get back with what wood he found, his new wife was waiting for him, waiting for... And there it was.

Why hadn't he seen it before? He was nervous about the most obvious thing any man could be nervous about on their honeymoon! For all the love he felt for her, as well as all of the truly carnal desire with which she filled his heart, the thought of that first fleshly experience terrified him to his very bones.

They had agreed, the day he had proposed, to save themselves for this night. That, in truth, was an extremely old-fashioned sentiment among Mobians. Prior to the collapse of society at the hands of that walking planet of a man, monogamy in general had become a downright archaic concept relegated to the sametales of ancient times wherein dragons, sorcerers and demons lurked.

But, with so few precious things left in their shattered world, they had wanted this to be a special moment in their lives, and so they vowed that most ancient of romantic ideals, and waited. Now that it was here, the wait had turned it from something to anticipate to something to shake every iota of confidence he had cultivated in himself.

He had to wonder, as he skulked slowly back in the direction of the distant campfire, did she feel the same apprehension? As much as it made his heart want to weep to think of his beloved in any form of distress, just this once, he hoped so!

In spite of his best efforts, the walk back didn't take much time. She didn't notice him at first, gazing out into that infinite sea, the fire light casting her as a stunning silhouette, a portrait of pure femininity in spite of her cybernetic parts.

Had some primitive Mobian stumbled out of the bushes, casting a gaze upon the site, would they mistake her for some divine goddess descended from on high? Why not? He certainly thought of her as such. That niggling nervousness grew into a pit in his stomach, the realization that to disappoint her tonight would be a fate worse than death in his eyes.

He cleared his throat, dropping the pitiful little bundle of half-soaked driftwood next to the fire pit, a doleful expression on his face. "I swear, Tails must have used every scrap of ze wood on zis island to build zat curse-ed cabin of his."

Bunnie smiled softly, looking up in his direction, stifling a giggle. "It's okay, sugah..." She flexed her robotic arm, a crooked grin forming on her face. "Ah can always yank a tree down iff'n we run out."

Bunnie's good humor melted away his apprehension, albeit for only a moment. "Good thing I like strong women zen, oui?"

Her grin widened, unable to resist. "You sure yer alright with a wife who's technically stronger than you, soldier boy?"

"Absolument! How is it ze old saying goes? Like a good cup of coffee. Hot and strong!"

Bunnie snorted in the most unladylike fashion possible. "Ah certainly didn't fall for you for yer pickup lines!"

"Oh s'il te plait! No woman can resist ze sharp wit of Antoine D'Coolette!"

She rolled her eyes, shaking her head slightly, patting the blanket next to her. "You plannin' to stand guard there all night?"

He gulped, hopefully not audibly, sitting down, scooting up close to her, draping an arm around her shoulders. She laid her head against him, that intoxicating, peachy scent of her hair filling his nose. Oh, every fiber of his being cried out for her, wanted her like a man seven days in the desert wanted water. And yet, that most peculiar of existential terrors only grew like a wildfire.

"Ah imagine if Tails were going to drop back by tonight, he would've done so by now, don't you?" Her voice had taken on a crooning sound, almost as though she were whispering so the moon could not hear them.

"Oui, he's too busy with his crazy contraptions I think..."

Bunnie met his gaze, her emerald eyes shimmering in the fire light. "We're all alone, finally..."

He nodded, his heart pounding as though it may leap from his chest like a cannonball. The wine! How could he forget about the wine? Perhaps a fine vintage would ease his nerves, and if nothing else, it would buy a little bit more time for him to get control of himself!

Reaching into the mostly-depleted picnic basket, he pulled an ancient bottle from its hiding place. He blew the dust from it, coughing gracelessly immediately thereafter.

"Why Antoine, isn't that one of your father's? You were savin' those for when you were finally reunited with him!"

She was right. When the coup had happened, his father had been away, and he had precious little time to save much from their home in the evacuation. Among those few effects were several bottles of a particularly old, rather valuable Mercian sweet red, the pride of his father's collection.

"Oui, but he told me many times when I was little, every great moment in life should be accompanied by an equally great wine. I can think of no moment in my life zat will ever be greater than zis."

"Oh, you do go on..."

Removing the cork with a delicacy that only someone from his homeland could ever hope to master, it exited the bottle with a decided pop. Filling two glasses with the dark red, fragrant wine, he handed one to his beloved.

"Tu es mon monde, Bunnie. Que cette guerre soit gagnée ou perdue, si je tombe au combat, ma vie sera complète car j'avais ce soir avec vous. Vous me donnez une raison de vivre, une envie de me battre, vous prouvez que ce monde vaut la peine d'être sauvé. Je t'aimerai maintenant et toujours."

Bunnie didn't understand a word of that, but the passion behind them, the softness with which they were spoken, it said more to her than the words themselves ever could. Their glasses clinked to punctuate the moment.

The fire continued to pop and crackle, casting dancing red embers into the starry night sky as they leaned against one another, sipping the sweet yet fiery vintage. It was a heady brew, their nascent arousal mixing with the high alcohol content, the soft heat of the fire seeming to embrace them as if to beg for them to take that next step.

Their eyes met again, Antoine taking her hands into his, one soft, delicate and warm, the other cold, metallic and powerful. His mind reeled, searching for something more to say, maybe even to just admit his own apprehension. Say something, you fool...

It was Bunnie who said something, not with words, but with actions. She leaned in, her eyes closing, her soft lips meeting his own. She let out a low, soft yet rumbling moan, barely audible over the crashing waves as she pushed forward, toppling him onto his back.

Releasing his hands but not his lips, she ripped his noisy Hawaiian shirt open. She ran her organic hand along his chest and down his abdomen, noting the wonders which his recent times on the front lines in their battle against their enemy had done for his physique. Gone was that soft body, replaced by hard, rippling muscles. While not a shallow girl by any means, oh, that spark of arousal within her became a blazing sun!

Finally, she broke the kiss, smirking devilishly at a stunned Antoine. "Ah've been lookin' for a reason to do away with that ridiculous shirt since we got here." She reached around behind herself, an unseen clasp popping loudly as her large breasts spilled from her low-cut blouse. "It's okay, neither of us needs clothes right now anyhow."

Antoine's mouth went dry as his eyes took the sight in. Her usual outfit did little to hide how well-endowed she was, but to see them unfettered like this, they were truly immense, and they were perfect in every possible way. They hung there, looming over his face, taking up the entirety of his vision, as if he would look away anyhow.

He heard only the slight rustle of discarded cloth landing nearby before she pulled him up from the ground, forcing his face between those heaving breasts. "Mmh, Ah know you've been waitin' to experience this. Nothin' wrong with that, sugah. Yer a red-blooded man, and Ah wouldn't have you any other way!"

Her fingers caressed the back of his head as he felt the soft, squishy, unspeakably warm flesh surround his face, that delightful peach scent of her overpowering the salt smell of the air. He allowed himself, at last, to relax a little, a lusty, if muffled, moan leaving him.

"They're yours forever, sugah..."

Shifting a little, he took one of her perky nipples into his mouth, his tongue tracing every contour as if to memorize the slightest little detail. Her steady breathing became shaky, her body trembling slightly from the ticklish yet wonderful sensation as her nipple stiffened more from his ministrations.

As much as he felt like he didn't know what he was doing, his body certainly knew! Without even thinking, his arms wrapped around her, his face smashing even more tightly against that squishy, divine flesh. An instinct, as old as him, long-forgotten but instantly remembered took over as he suckled upon it gently, soft, singsong moans beginning to escape her with every breath.

He was so gentle, even now, in the throes of passion!

Slowly, as she melted in his arms and against his lips, his own apprehension in turn melted away like ice under the hot sun. Her moans grew louder right alongside his confidence, at least one of them echoing off the nearby tree line, a couple small birds taking to the air in response.

Reluctantly, she pulled back, her gasping breaths causing her heavenly bosom to quiver and heave seductively. "You... Haven't even... Seem the best thing Ah can do with these yet..."

She scooted back, allowing Antoine, for the first time, to see her in all her glory, not a stitch on her. He always knew it would be impossible to describe perfection, to put glory into words, especially in a language that wasn't his first. The universe had done it for him.

Everything about Bunnie exuded sensual femininity. Slightly voluptuous as she may be, with her pronounced curves, more than ample chest and plump, enticing womanhood, she still conveyed raw power and strength nonetheless.

Goddess? What had he been thinking? She was beyond Goddess, beyond the cosmos itself! The shimmering silver moon above must have felt shame, its splendor paling by compare.

With the deftness of a jungle cat, she climbed over him, facing away from him, that beckoning, delightful peach looming above his face. In the soft firelight, it glistened with wetness, the unspeakably rich, delightful scent of her arousal seeming to infuse the whole of his senses.

Bunnie's soft, organic hand wrapped gently around his rock-hard, throbbing shaft, another throaty moan signifying her great approval. He wasn't a skilled swordsman for nothing, she mused, her hand running along the length of his impressive organ. It twitched, throbbing yet more intensely against her palm.

There would be no point in denying that he'd had that particular part of him in his own hand more than a few times in his life. But, to feel the hand of another, that was something so very different, making every single muscle in his body twitch and spasm, forcing him to take sharp gasps as though he were plunged into Arctic water.

Like a dainty butterfly landing on a flower, she lowered herself onto his face, that soaked, forbidden flesh pressing against his lips. It was so warm! Without a second thought, his mouth opened, his tongue rushing forth to taste that for which he had hungered for so long.

The sweetest wine, the most delicately-prepared pastry he had ever experienced, they would forever be nothing to him now! The exquisitely sweet, peachy flavor that greeted him would certainly ruin him on the finest cuisine for the rest of his life.

Bunnie's cry of ecstasy was a beauty that no music could ever replicate, her grip around his shaft tightening slightly before she at last took the tip into her mouth, lowering her head, oh so gently taking each inch of him into her, past her tongue, down her throat.

His wild, bestial moan vibrated through her very core, nearly pushing her over the edge as his tongue explored every fold, every contour of her delicate blossom. He was almost too much for her, his girth filling her mouth full, is insurmountable length seeming as though it would pierce her very heart! Fighting to keep control of her body, she pulled slowly back, stopping only when his tip was again against her tongue. She pulled away from it with a suckling kiss, grateful for the deep, unhindered breath she could at last take.

The girls in dirty movies made that look so easy, but that was going to take some practice! She was sure he wouldn't mind.

Pushing forward slightly, she enveloped the now-wet, imposing monument to masculinity in her supple, warm breasts. Taking only a little of his length into her mouth now, she began to bob up and down slowly, rhythmically, her soft bust and her warm, moist mouth caressing every inch of him.

His mind was ablaze, wild, primal pleasure surging through him greater than his most private dreams, his gentle, delicate exploration giving way to ravenous lapping and wild kissing, a sweet juice to shame the mythical divine ambrosia rewarding his efforts. His manly, husky grunting moans rattled her even more, her eyes watering from the mounting surge within her. It was an electric, powerful pressure, and she was sure that she would burst!

No!

Without warning, she rolled off of him, onto her back, her legs akimbo, panting wildly. She propped herself up on her elbows, just enough to look over to him. "Not... Yet..." She looked at him hungrily, her half-lidded eyes commanding that he come to her, that he do what countless billions of years of evolution would demand of them in this moment. Nothing less could ever be allowed!

He crawled to her with a haste that would have impressed Sonic himself, looming above her, gazing deeply into those hungry eyes. "Do it", those eyes said to him, "claim me once and for all, make me yours now and forever!"

The mighty beast that had once been the timid, self-conscious Antoine pulled her into a ravenous kiss, their lips parting, their tongues dancing a tango as old as the stars themselves. Aggressively, yet somehow gently at the same time, he thrust his hips forward, that massive shaft plunging into her tight, virgin body.

Instantly, her walls clamped around him as if to hold onto him forever, to tell him that he was every bit as much hers now, that they belonged to each other until the galaxies had returned to cold and lifeless dust.

There was little left of the two rational, reserved beings that had set up camp on that beach earlier that day. For the moment, in their place, there were only animals, animals driven by instinct, by unbridled carnal lust, by a love that transcended sentience itself. His hips moved on their own, slowly at first, long and exaggerated motions as he filled and stretched her to her limit, forcing her to let out untamed squeals into his mouth as their tongues continue to dance like old lovers.

Her metallic hand dug wildly into the sand, her softer, living hand playing wildly through his hair, his increasingly-powerful thrusts causing those breasts to bounce wildly, physics at their most primal.

Her artificial legs wrapped around him, the fire of her passion so great that even their metallic casing was warm against him. For the first time in either of their memories, the war didn't matter. Their friends didn't exist, there was no world in peril.

To Antoine, there existed nothing but Bunnie, her tight, warm body taking him in again and again, his soul threatening to combust each and every time. To Bunnie, there existed nothing but Antoine, his steel-hard girth stretching her body to the limit, filling her full both physically and spiritually, the white-hot waves of pleasure threatening to make her black out.

Faster, faster! The wet slaps of their bodies impacting, their ragged breathing, their unbridled cries of ecstasy, it all came together to drown out the sounds of the night! Close, so close, but no! No, not yet! Together... Always together! Together in life, together in battle, together in passion!

Their eyes locked, their lurid kiss breaking at last, Antoine's head arching back as he led out an ancient howl, a howl not heard since his feral ancestors roamed the world! The waves crashed loudly against the beach, the wind blew through the trees, the birds of the night cried out their ancient and nocturnal songs, and together as they would do all things, they came at last!

A blazing heat flooded Bunnie's body, burning, seething and wonderful as the love of her life spilled inside her. They cried out one last time, together, a song heard on this and many worlds since the universe first ignited. She is mine and I am hers! I am his and he is mine!

The ocean breeze intensified, as if to fan and cool the sweating, depleted lovers as they lay in one another's arms, neither able to say a word. But no words needed said, and there would be time for words later. There would be forever, forever and ever together.

The unseen observer slinked further back into the bushes, his heart pounding in his ears. What a show that had been! And to think, the only perk that usually came with patrol duty was the ability to smoke without his boss complaining!

As he walked through the cave entrance, around the bolder, and through the cleverly-hidden entrance to the Armada base, the avian private hummed quietly to himself. That show had been just for him, he decided. Just when he was questioning staying with the Bird Armada, the universe sets him straight!

He was still humming to himself, a goofy smirk on his beak as he entered the control room.

"Carl! How long does it take you to do a single patrol round? This is a small island, man, how could you possibly have gotten lost out there?"

"Oh, I wasn't lost... I found something... Interesting."

"Oh yeah? And what might that be? Some exceptionally large coconuts?" The sarcasm in his commander's voice could have been cut with a knife.

"Well, you could say that, actually!"
