character bios and an afterthought of haven
Clair Undertones- Head of Haven, she is the second oldest vampire on record, the first being vlad dracul, also known as dracula, tho dracula has since 'evolved' clair remains, she is the top of haven due to her strength and power, she also has several centuries of knowledge to help fuel her little enterprise of deals and official work to keep it running, she is slowly changing, soon she will become a wight, the second in existance, the only current sign she is, is her hair, it is slowly becoming a shade known only as necroshadow black, she pulled together several folks to work with her on her dream of haven, and now she does her best to maintain things, hoping that when she leaves, everyone will be able to continue without her.
Rover- Accountand and Master of Requisitions, hes a warewolf, and a damn old one at that, well over 300 years in age, his human form became to frail to support itself, so he shifted, now he can no longer be in anything but his wolven form, which suits him just fine, it keeps him fit, and young....ish, he refuses all forms of help in looking after the books, and will instantly pop anti ulcer pills at the first uttering of money needed for anything, hes gruff in voice and attitude, but underneath it, he seems to have a good heart, no one is sure how he and Clair met, and he doesnt seem ready to tell anyone about it just yet.
Shadow- DJ, hes the ultimate anomoly, hes literaly a shadow, or at least thats what he claims, his origins as hes told Clair, is hes the result of two stars colliding, and instead of exploding, fusing, the light from that creation was only partialy blocked by a nearby planet that crumbled, soon after, the shadow came to be, he says hes the shadow of the north star, his deal with Clair, is that he gets more or less left alone, he occasionaly gets the curious fur or supernatural in the back, who asks a favor of him, he grants the favor, and sometimes, in return, he asks a favor of them, be it something simple like to be lef in peace, or, on the rare occasion, he takes them into his body where he does who knows what to them, they always leave with a smile no matter what happens tho.
Wispe- Ghost at the front DJ table, hes dead, well, his body is, no one, not even he knows his own origin, he simply wears the special headphones he has and bops along with whatever beat happens to be pulsing through the club, he doesnt interact or do anything else, he doesnt remmeber anything besides his name, after that, hes too absorbed in his music to be of any help or hindrance to anything.
Keep, Bartender, yes, his name is simply the short form of the alternate term known as a barkeep, but thats what he wanted to be called when he agreed to work for Claire at the club, his speed is unmatched, and his bar is his alone, he never leaves the back, he never lets anyone else join him, and he only stops long enough to talk to certain folks he deems worthy of his time, and to get the orders from the runners who serve those not at the bar.
Quint- Bouncer, hes the male part and the vampire part of the bouncer team Quint and Slash, his size, power, and nature seem more like that of a statue or a raging viking than a vampire, hes easily about twice the height of the door into haven and easily as wide, many asked him how he got in, all hell do is shrug and ignore you after you ask, he has become rather fond of his other half Slash over the years, they both share the afection, but dont have a way to act on it yet, as they are the only bouncers at haven for now.
Slash- Bouncer, shes the female part and the werewolf part of the bouncer team Quint and Slash, her power, speed and grace and nature personify the savage beautiful nature that all weres harbor within them, being tough, graceful, sly, and almost ninja like in her actions moves and speech, she has never said anything as to why shes at haven or why she chose to be one of the bouncers, but she knows she has grown fond of her male counterpart, she cant wait for the day when they get a new bouncer so they can do more than flirt with each other and try to one up eachother during the monthly.
Sheara- Runner, Shes the fastest runner in haven to date, shes a panthress with nearly pitch black fur, she wears skintight shorts and top to preserve what modesty she has while sacrificing none of her natural speed or grace, she has been know to vanish for a day or two when she has to make a run to the catacombs, but she always makes up for it by managing to catch up on drink orders and anything else in short order, shes tough as nails, doesnt accept nonsence or games, but is still sensitive when the mood takes her.
Andrios- Human, hes the most recent human to work at Haven, tho his skills and abilities are yet fully unknown, but hes found out a lot about haven in the short time hes worked there, and somehow doesnt seem phased by it at all, and the stranger thing, he doesnt mind his new post, what it is and when we find out cant be revealed yet, but it will be a rather large event when it does happen.
Merc- Mercinary, Merc is a demon, hes also mute, not due to aything with his race or powers, but he was injured while helping solve a mystery on behalf of the brittish government, his vocal chords were impossibly damaged, he now speaks through his friend Dez, who is a rare brand of psychic demon and simply skims off whatever Merc thinks for her to say out loud, her feelings twards Dez remain a mystery to all, even Dez, maybe one day well find out how he feels.
Dez- Mercinary, Dez is a rare psychic demon, her ability to read minds and find facts makes her an invaluable member of the haven mercenary element, she is always found with Merc, she elected to become his voice once he had the accident, over the years, she has developed strong feelings for him, she doesnt hide it too well, and she isnt too shy around him, she just hopes that he truly does care for her as she cares for him.
