Chapter 31" Shame Tailed , a lesson learned in dreams and from elders

At the Command Center, the 4 colored lights appear on th e teleporter pad, the 4 lights fading out around Roe, Alex, and Connor and Ace , their wet clothing and fur chilling their bones, tHe chill of the cave system made them colder as they walked across the suspended walkways making their way over to the computer stations.

"Guys!" Abby shouts, running up to the 4 , "Your okay, thank god!' As she hugs Roen and Alex, and petting Connor and Ace in kanine form. "Who was that?" she asks, as the 3 settle in chairs, Connor and Ace laying down.

"I don't know, but we got our asses handed to us by a guy with only a shield!" ROen complaints.

"I know ROe, calm down and so we can ffigure out who this 6th wolf Ranger is>" ALex says trying to calm Roe down. "but we have no idea who the original power is based off of.." Alex continuing his voice unsure.

"mystic force had a red wolf warrior that was once Koragg, The Knight Wolf , Maybe that power is based on that." ROen says, thinking back on Ranger history.

"If we had full access to the Morphing Grid in our Dimension, we could talk to the Mystic Force team ." Abby thinks aloud.

"We were lucky to even access the bit of the Morphing Grid and borrow the original Wolf Powers we had, even more lucky with the Wolf FUry powers and not be brainwashed by Lord Avion when we morphed with the Wolf Fury power coins." Alex says, fingering his blue wolf coin, his Blue morpher off his belt and on the table in front of him.

"Yeah I know," it was a risk we had to take. ROen says taking the blame.

"well we can't do anything now, let's get some rest and face this problem tomorrow." Abby says, standing up and stretching "See you tomorrow love birds." she finishes as she raises her wrist and presses a button on her communicator teleporting home.

Both Roen and Alex heave long sighs, and start to the elevator with Connor and Ace following,taking it up to the study and making their way to Alex's bed. Once there they settle in, as they lay there next to each other kissing good night as they drift off to sleep.

Roen and Alex find themselves in a black empty void, shards of light, shapes and color fading in ; The alternate dimension of the Command Center in Angel Grove , California taking shape around them, the Command Center destroied after Ivan Ooze's invasion ,just as the Rangers return to the Command Center, the Rangers witnessing the destruction left by Ivan and rush to Zordon's side. With his time-warp shattered, Zordon is rapidly aging and dying.

"Rangers "

thank goodness you are safe. Zordon says weakly, as the Rangers Gathered around him,

"c'mon we gotr to get you back inside." tommy says with Concern and worry in his voice.

"I'm Afraid that is *breathing weakly( The power has been destroyed. *weak Inhale, struggling to breathe* It is gone. The Zords, the weapons, all of it. the Power Rangers are no more. Ivan Ooze has won. *weak Inhale, struggling to breathe*

We're loosing him! Billy cries out.

"Zordon you can't leave us! Kimberly cries, "Ever since you came into our lives, you've been like a father to us all.

"You must be strong." Zordon says as he weakly struggles to breathe

"Rangers....." Comes Alpha's weak voice,

"Alpha!!" Tommy says in alarm, as he and the others runs over to Alpha, his body damaged and shooting sparks in every direction. "Are you okay?" Tommy asks,

"I'll be fine, there maybe a power that can save Zordon ." Alpha says,

"What power?" Adam asks,

"on the distant planet of Phaedos, , its very Dangerous. All who have tried for it , have perished.." Alpha tells the Rangers.

"We have to try Alpha." Rocky says,

"Zordon's life force will not last long. You won't have much time. " Alpha continues, "HOw can we get it?" Tommy asks,

"Maybe if I can download the very last Plasmatic morphing gem into the transport core ." He says his body still sparking, as he walks over to the Consuls, "I might have just enough power to get you there. But there won't be any left to get you back."

"but how do we get back?" Rocky asks, "

"We have to hope the power is there." Kimberly says, "Zordon's life depends on it."

Alpha inputs commands on the Consuls, "Are you ready?" he asks,

"Yeah," Tommy says with Determination. "We may not have our powers, but we're still the power rangers."

"Remember Rangers, Zordon doesn't have much time." Alpha says worriedly , as he finishes the last of the commands and with the last of the power the Rangers are teleported away.

"We know all of this, what does it have to do with us?" Alex asks aloud, ROen standing there listening to the scene play out.

The scene fades out, to the distant planet Phaedos. where

the fight between the Tengu Warriors and the Rangers was brutal and gruesome, as one of the Tengu has Kimberly in a chokehold, another peckes at Tommy with its beak with such force throwing him back into the Ruins of the temple , and another throws Adam into a creek. Later Tenga warriors look over a cliff edge, having thrown one of the Rangers off a cliff into a river far below.

The scene fades out, now after the Rangers have gotten the great power.

Back on Earth, at the Command Center the Rangers teleport in, Alpha telling them there to late. The rangers look worried as Tommmy comes up with an idea.

"Remember what we learned? To those who possess the Great Power all things are possible. C'mon." Tommy says as the Rangers gather around the remains of Zordon's time-warp , and start to focus the power.

Golden light leaves their bodies Spreading out, repairing the Command Center, the Consuls fixing themselves as the light passes through them, the golden light repairing the Energy pillers around Zordon's timewarp , Zordon's body is filled with the golden light, his timewarp reforming around his body and the tube filling with Zordon's ghostly face, as he inhales. Finally all is still, lights blinking normally at the Consuls ., as if the attack had never happen.

"Zordon!" they all cry, "Rangers!" Zordon says with warmth in his voice.

"He's alive, He's alive,He's alive!" Alpha cheers, "We thought that you had..." Kimberly starts and then trails off.

"It is good to see you too." Zordon says in his fatherly tone, warmth in his voice.

The 6 Rangers fade away leaving ROen and Alex's ghostly forms with only Zordon , Alpha 5 and the Command Center around them, ROen and Alex's ghostly forms take corporeal shape.

Zordon turns to look at them, Alpha at his side.

"Welcome Rangers, to the Command Center ." Zordon greets, ROen and Alex look shocked and surprised.

"Zor...d...Zordon...." ALex starts, "How are we...?"

"Your connection to the Morphing Grid is strong ." Zordon says, "In this dimension my Energy tube has not yet been destroyed by Andros, the Red Space Ranger."

"How do you know about the Z wave." ROen asks, confused.

"I'm a inter-dimensional entity, . Remember Roen?" Zordon says.

"Oh yeah, " ROen starts, "so your connected to every version of yourself in the multi-verse." Alex filling in,

"correct ALex." Zordon says,

"So what were we supposed to learn?" ROen asks " That with Great power ,comes great responsibility."

"not exactly." Zordon starts, " Remember what my Rangers learned? To those who possess the Great Power all things are possible . Each set of Ranger POwers can do wonderful things, trust in your powers and your bonds of friendship , Power Rangers and May the Power protect you. Zordon finishs, as the Command Center fades and becomes incorporeal and then vanishes around them.

**End of dream**

The next morning,

The sunlight shines through Alex's window as Roe starts moving aroundtrying to hide from the sunlight hitting him on his face. Connor and Ace still sprawled out on the bed, Ace upside-down all four legs spread out, the Pikachu blanket that was covering him thrown off to the side.

Connor beside him curled up in a tight ball, his tail tight against his body, covered in a small sonic the hedgehog blanket . Its matching plushy sitting on a bookshelf with other Plushies and Manga, and boxes of anime and different seasons of Power Rangers DVDs.

", trust in your powers and your bonds of friendship Rangers . Zordon's faint ghostly voice Floats through out the small room. THe ghostly voice of Zordon wakes Roen to full consciousness, he groans out rolling over hugging his pillow and then heaves a sigh.

"I know, but there's still the question ; if it is jules how can we break the spell?" he asks himself in his mind.

Next to Roen, Alex wakes with a full body stretch and a groan. With Alex's noises Connor and Ace wake, giving Alex a look and then coming over and each sitting on their partner's and then switching and giving morning kisses to the other's partner.

"Argh! Ace! You were just sucking Connor off with that mouth a few days ago and I know you don't brush your teeth when you change to anthro form." Roen complaints as Alex just takes the kisses from Connor. Ace shooting Roen a dirty look as he lays down.

"Connor must at least chew on his dental treats then, his breath isn't as bad as Ace's.," ALex says back to ROe, Connor backing off as Ace comes to lay his head on Alex's lap.

"Yeah Ace I know you two screw like bunnies."

"Hey Alex did you hear Zordon's voice in your dreams too? Roen asks.

"Yeah we should trust in our bonds of friendship, and I think its Jules who's are crimson Wolf." Alex says, as he settles on the identity of the crimson Wolf Ranger.

"I've been thinking the same thing since I heard Zordon's voice. Roen replies

With some discoveries made on Julian as their crimson Wolf Ranger a knock comes at Alex's door.

"Come in." Alex says, the door opening as Alex's mom comes in. the boys still under the sheets. "Ah good your awake honey, you and ROe get dressed, Grams is coming over." she says, "Sure mom." Alex replies, , as his mom turns around and leaves.

It was some time later that morning when Alex and ROe, with Connor and Ace where sitting in the living room the tv on with a Rerun episode of Star Trek TNG on as the doorbell rings. Mrs. Cane answering the door and greeting the person at the door,

"Oh Mrs. Cane , its lovely to see you." comes a elderly woman's voice, wrapping Mrs. Cane in a hug, "Now where's my grandson at?" she continues, entering the mansion.

"I'm right here ." Alex calls from the couch, as his grandmother makes her way to Alex and ROen.

"Ah Alexander, there you are." his gradmother says, as she leans in kissing Alex on a cheek. "And hello there young man, I'm Penelope Sage , or if you wish Penny, grandmother and Matriarch of this family. Nice to meet you." she continues holding out a hand for Roen to shake.

"Reach out Roe, she wants to shake your hand." ALex says in a low voice, as Roe does so. "Oh, yeah nice to meet you Ma'am." ROen shaking her hand.

"So you must be the Oliver boy my grandson is head over heels for, my son tells me so mmuch about," granms says, looking ROen over.

"So Grams"., how's things?" Alex asks.

trying to change the topic with no Success, a blush starting to Creep up his cheeks.

"Now Alex dear, don't be rude. I want to know more about this boy." Granms admonishes, "I take it your blind."

"Yes Ma'am, I am, been total for a number of years now." ROe replies back.

"It runs in our family ,Alex's grandfather lost his vision in his 20s. Its some DNA thing." Granms says.

Grams is now sitting on the wing back chair spun around to face Alex and Roen .

" ""Oliver, I think a cousin many years ago married a oliver." Grams says thinking aloud to herself, "Their was a cousin way back who married a Oliver, though he was more flamboyant Then you dear. he was my cousin or cousin once removed or something, he was very dear to me eitherway."

"Great so gayness and blindness runs in the family." Alex says under his breath.

As his Grams continues grilling ROen on his relationship to Alex and how far they've gone.

It was after that night when Grams was getting ready to leave gthat she gave Alex and Roen Advice that would ehlp with the crimson wolf situation.

"Now remember dear, love and Communication are the cornerstones to any relationship." she says mysteriously with a smile, as she stands at the front door getting ready to leave .

"Uhhh, sure , but yeah see you next time, love you." Alex says, hugging Grams just as she leaves the Sage Mansion.
