#1 of Town Of Aesop (C)

A new collection! Pay no mind to the extremely generic collection name, I bandied about a bunch of different options but didn't really like any of them.

This collection has a specific theme to them: the pairings have been inspired by the titles of fables credited to Aesop. I used a bunch of different sources, since it seems like there are a lot of different collections and such and none of them seem to all be the last word on what the titles are and what ones were actually created by him. But that's fine, because this isn't some kind of super-strict extreme limitation! It's just an idea I had that I wanted to run with!

A couple things to note: first, the pairings here do NOT necessarily have any relevance to the original fable. This isn't a "retell a fable with a lewd twist," because most of the fables are incredibly short (and most of the fetishes would involve vore and snuff - no thank you). This is simply "use the title to dictate the pairing." In addition, a major purpose of this collection is to do shorter works, things that I can come up with and shoot out in just a writing session or two, so that I can make sure I have some stuff ready to go while I'm working on the larger stories! Really, it's good practice for restraint. There will be quite a few recurring characters and a consistent setting, so that should help a bit!

Lastly, I'm leaving the suggestion box open! Want to see a particular fable-inspired pairing? Want to see a follow-up to a pairing already written? Want to see characters who haven't interacted get it on? Let me know! I can't promise an immediate satisfaction of every desire, but it could help shift my priorities a touch! It doesn't have to remain strictly canonical fable pairings, even if that's where it starts - maybe you think a couple of these characters go well together!

"Thanks so much for the help, I really appreciate it."

"But of course. We're neighbors now, and neighbors should help each other out, right?"

The fox smiled somewhat shyly at the lion who was helping him get boxes into his new house. A new arrival to the town of Aesop, he didn't really know anyone and was rather pleasantly surprised that a helper just up and came to him from next door. "I like that you feel that way, not everyone is like that everywhere."

"Well, I think you'll find that Aesop is a little bit different from anywhere else," replied the lion with a chuckle. "Oh, pardon me for not introducing myself. I'm Lazlo."

"Oh, yeah...sorry, I was so caught up in things I didn't even think about that. I'm Kittel, but people usually call me Kit."

"Heh, sounds youthful."

"Yeah, I wasn't fond of it for a while because it made me sound like a child. But I've gotten to appreciate it, might as well sound like I'm youthful and vigorous while it still applies, right?"

"That's a good plan. People tell me my name makes me sound old, and I don't like to feel old. Friends call me Laz, which helps a little bit, but it still doesn't quite ring the way Kit does, I think."

"I dunno, I think it sounds pretty unique. Not a name I've ever heard before." Kit grabbed another box and tried to lift it, and then grimaced. "Ah, fuck...I knew there was a reason I was saving this for last."

"Don't hurt yourself! Here, let me help. What's in this one anyway?"

"Mmph, books. Thanks." Carefully, Kit took hold at the same time Laz did and the two slowly lifted and carried the box towards the house. It was a very nice house in Kit's eyes, a wooden structure that looked almost like it was out of a storybook, quaint and rustic, almost feeling like a cottage in the woods, even complete with plenty of trees in the yard. A lot of the buildings in Aesop had very naturalistic aesthetics, which was one of the reasons Kit had been drawn to it - so many places that looked halfway like dens or burrows or caves, it felt like getting back to nature despite being in a fairly large town.

As they got the box of books inside, they let it down and Laz got a chance to wipe his brow. "Whoof, you must be a real reader. Mighta wanted to break those up into two, eh?"

"Yeah, I wasn't really thinking on that one. Thanks for your help." Kit took a look around. "Kinda want to take a break before I start tackling this stuff...I knew I have to get to it all but I'm so wiped out just from the move itself."

"Why not come over to my place for a bit, get you a cool drink and let you cool your heels a bit?" offered Laz.

"I think I'll take you up on that. Thanks."

Lazlo's place was pretty nice, aesthetically a lot like Kit's, though with a color scheme that seemed a bit more savannah-like. Better still, it was all set up and well lived-in, giving him a good place to sit and not think about boxes for a while. With a nice cold lemonade in his hand, he was feeling a good bit better as he sat in the chair across from the lion. "Ah, yeah, that's the stuff. It's a beautiful day, but maybe a little warm for heavy lifting."

"Some truth to that, for sure," agreed Lazlo. "Could be worse, you could have to be wearing clothes as well."

"Thank goodness that's not the case, don't need it to be even warmer," replied Kit with a grin. "One of the reasons I wanted to live here, actually - ain't a lot of places out there that are clothing optional."

"It's pretty sweet. Just about everyone gets into the spirit. The humans are the only holdouts, but it really doesn't take much to get them baring it, they're just the ones most comfortable in them. I think it's a big draw for a lot of our types, a place where we can feel more natural."

"Natural seems to be the theme, I like it. So how long have you lived here?"

"About six years now. Moved right out of school, I'd always heard nice things about this place. And it's pretty great, there's something really magical about it."

Kit sipped his lemonade. "Sure does feel that way, doesn't it? Almost like a little buzz in the air, makes me feel nice and relaxed."

Lazlo chuckled a bit. "Yeah, no, that's not a metaphor. There's literally magic around us."

"Eh? Wait, what?"

"Yep. Actual, honest-to-goodness magic. Don't ask me how, someone might know but I didn't need the deets. It's not super strong, and it's not gonna, like, make it so you can't leave or anything like that, it's just an aura that's spread throughout the town and a touch beyond."

Kit was amazed by this - he'd heard people say Aesop was different, but not like this! "No shit? So what does it do?"

"Mostly keeps things nice and peaceful. It mostly affects certain behaviors. You think more about other people, people are a bit more altruistic and less greedy. It tamps down on real violence, like it's hard for anyone to even think about seriously hurting someone, and it makes playful stuff like wresting and sports a lot less hazardous. It's also protective, it's harder to get hurt here, and when you do it heals up faster. You can still get sick, but it usually won't be too serious."

All of this was engrossing to Kit. "Wow...I can't imagine why anyone would WANT to leave. Or not want to come."

Laz shrugged. "Trust me, it's not as hard as you think. Some people just aren't compatible with Aesop...a lot of people like that can't even set foot in here, it'll repel them so hard it'll make them sick. I'm not gonna say it's a utopia or anything with nothing bad happening, but a lot of the worst types of people couldn't even hope to stay here and spoil what we've got. Nice to have an automatic filter for anything too nasty."

"Jeez, no kidding...I mean that just makes it more desirable for me, always worried about running into horrible people in the city."

"I know, that's a familiar refrain...of course, there are some people who think that they're suited and then get pretty bitchy when Aesop rejects them, because they think everyone else is the problem. Anyway, that's not the only reason, others might like the atmosphere, but it doesn't really fit their personality. Aesop isn't really a place for high ambition or drive, and for some people the desire to make something more of themselves compels them to seek out a life elsewhere. Me, I'm content with being content, and that's what most of the people who stay here are like. Those who are really driven, they just won't find what's driving them here."

"I see...I guess one person's idyllic life is another's boredom." Kit finished his lemonade and stood up with a stretch. "I think I'm pretty happy with being content, too, I always liked a low-intensity life myself. Ah, but I should probably get to work...all those boxes aren't gonna unpack themselves."

"Now hold on just a moment here," said Laz as he rose up, waylaying Kit before he could take more than a couple steps. "No need to be in a rush...besides, I haven't given you a proper welcome to Aesop yet."

"Proper welcome? If this all hasn't been proper, you guys must have some high standards."

"Oh, trust me, you won't be questioning it in a moment." Kit suddenly felt Laz draw him in, pulling him into his tawny-furred body. A moment later, he let out an eep as he felt the lion's hands cup one of his fuzzy cheeks, and a nice healthy sheath start to push against his own, as much as they could given the height difference. "Rrrr, feels nice, just like I thought it would."

"Ooh...my, my, you're, uh, definitely nice and forward," Kit managed to get out - he couldn't say he minded it, it was just so sudden!

"Hm, you'll get used to it," purred Laz, making a clawed finger at the fox's tailhole and making him yip and moan again. "People around here enjoy getting right to the point. Another fun fact about Aesop's magic...if you're getting it, you want it."

"Ah...w-wait, that...does that mean I, uh, I'm made to..."

"No no, quite the opposite...if you truly DIDN'T want it, I couldn't even touch you, no matter how hard I tried I'd be kept away. Doesn't happen often around here, you learn to tell who's game and who isn't...but you'll find we're all pretty free and loose around here, and sometimes it's fun to dispense with the pleasantries and just get right to it." That digit slipped into Kit's rear, and he moaned louder and pushed more against Laz, working their sheaths together, and soon more as their cocks started to push out to join the fun. It had been long enough since he'd had a romp, getting ready to move had taken up kind of a lot of his time, so he was feeling the call pretty quickly...maybe Laz had gotten a bit of a jump on him, but he wasn't about to complain.

Pretty soon Laz had Kit on his back on the floor, his slightly greater weight providing a comfortable pressure on top of the fox and he worked him up front and back. The barbed cock felt nice against Kit's smoother one, giving it an electric tingle with the little scratches he felt from it, enough that his moans and soft cries were getting louder and more frequent. The lion's finger went in deeper, working him up and brushing his nail just a bit against those sensitive walls, making Kit clench reflexively. Whoof...damn, but he knows what he's doing.

Just as things were starting to get really steamy, Laz backed off a bit, removing his finger from Kit's tailhole and separating their shafts from each other. Kit had a feeling he knew what was coming, and he was more than eager to get it, spreading his legs wider and offering himself to the lion. "Go on, then...I wanna feel welcome..."

"Oh, you'll feel that and more," growled Laz playfully as he lined up with that eager pucker, which shifted between tense and loose as Kit felt the flesh make contact. Oh, it was good to feel that again...a cry of raw pleasure escaped Kit as Las pushed his way in, not violently but firmly, not relenting with his pressure until the entirely of that thick lion shaft that buried inside Kit's rump. "Aahn...hoo, yeah, that's the stuff. You feel real nice back there, Kit..."

"Haah...likewise..." breathed Kit, who was lost in the pleasure. Straight to the point indeed, that had been really good for something so impromptu, not requiring anything additional to feel like that cock was made for his ass. Oh, this place was feeling nicer by the minute. "Ooh, yeah, give it to me, Laz, please..."

"Mrr, with pleasure, Kit." The lion pulled back, making sure Kil felt those barbs drag nicely against his innards before humping back in, a bit harder than the first time, getting a louder moan from the fox and a nice quick jet of pre to soak into his fur. His toes curled as Laz took on a brisk pace, working in and out at just the right clip to make Kit see stars. His hands clung to the lion's fur as he rocked with Laz, squeezing down harder on that scritching shaft and getting some nice rumbling growls and purrs out of his partner as well.

After a bit of this, Laz paused a bit, shifting so that one arm went under Kit's body, holding him closer to the lion and getting a firmer and more intimate grip on him. His hips rose up a bit and took Kit's body with them, thrusting down more with a bit more intensity and getting deeper inside the fox. Kit's tail was swishing around eagerly as he all but wrapped himself around Laz, encouraging the lion's continued pleasuring and embracing the closeness; it felt like a very personal touch, more than just a quick romp to get their rocks off, but something that meant something, a feeling that was amplified when Laz began to lick around his muzzle, the rough tongue feeling really good against his fur.

And of course it all had Kit getting very close to going off pretty quickly, thanks to his dry spell. His hips were bucking a bit, trying to get some kind of contact on his cock, maybe against Laz's fur, though he couldn't move too much without disrupting Laz's pace and losing the other wonderful part of this. So close, he just needed a little bit more...and he got more than a little bit, as the lion's now-free left hand reached down and grasped the fox's leaky shaft, pumping it vigorously and brushing a pawpad over the sensitive tip repeatedly. Another yip escaped Kit's maw, followed by an unleashed cry as he hit his climax, spurting a healthy load of cum all over his and Laz's fur, continuing to push into the lion's hand to work every drop he could out of himself, Laz helpfully still stroking and squeezing to milk him even more.

It wasn't much longer before Laz was joining him, a slight snarl ripping from his jaw as he thrust in hard and started to pulse sticky lances of cream deep into Kit. The pleasant wet warmness was familiar and welcome to the fox, who kept tensing around that throbbing tool, working the barbs as best he could to keep Laz shooting. The lion's virility was impressive, it felt like he was cumming longer and more voluminously than most of Kit's prior partners, at least for his size - was that all part of the magic, too, or was it just his imagination? At the moment, it didn't matter, he just wanted to melt into the bliss, his body coming down from its climactic high into a nice healthy afterglow.

Laz was with him soon, rolling the two onto their sides as they rested following their rut. He was purring as he looked in Kit's starry eyes. "Mm, enjoy that?"

"Hah, definitely. You felt amazing...I think I needed that."

"Happy to provide, believe me. Cute guy like you, how could I resist? Heh, you'll find you don't have to push very hard most of the time around here...we're very open about things like this here, and it's a good way to get close to others. Making people feel good is the rule of life around here - do things for others, make them happy, and you'll be happy as well."

Kit nodded. "You've definitely made me happy...I'll have to make sure I return the favor."

"Oh, you already are. I get a cute new neighbor to hang out with, I've been hoping for someone to move in for a while now."

"Well, then, I'll just have to spend a lot more time with you, then." Kit poked Laz's nose playfully. "Maybe we can start by you showing me your shower, since I haven't had a chance to set mine up yet."

"Oh, right...well, that should be no problem." Laz slowly pulled out of Kit, a bit of his seed leaking out onto the floor as he helped the fox to his feet. "Hopefully it won't be the last time you'll have use for it!"

Kit snickered brightly. "Oh, I'm sure it won't be, neighbor."
